Barry Cohen has nothing to do with the Omega 3 order.
Yes, because what you typed does not equal what the real deal is.
I received an email late last night from Dr. Dan Kainer at Lone Star. He is very excited for this possiblity and it is exactly what you have described - a facility that will set up, operate, and publish results from the commercial scale PBRs that are presented to the college. They have a high number of students who have expressed interest in this field and Lone Star is looking to be front and center in the commercialization of algae.
He expressed interest in BEHL's desktop models as he thinks these units will be what the students will conduct the research from on varying strains.
No problem. The thanks should go to Dennis. Quickest response I've gotten yet from the man who wears many many hats.

Hello Leona,
They are not referencing our PBR...we have not shipped the components there yet...
This a a vertical pbr that costs a fortune to build...with what I believe to be numbers that are not obtainable (predicated on PAR data and the laws of science)
We will be shipping our components to them at the completion of our PBR here in the next few weeks

Subject: Lone Star College PBR Article
Mr. Fisher,
Good afternoon. My name is XXXXXX and I am an investor in BioCentric Energy. Today, Lone Star College and Barry Cohen released an update stating that the College has finished completion of commercial scaled PBR for testing. In reviewing the parties Mr. Cohen thanked, I did not see any connections to BioCentric and was wondering if this is the project BioCentric has undertaken with Lone Star or a different party. Just looking for a little clarity from their article and do not need an expected date of completion or shipping of parts to Lone Star as I am more focused on seeing the Santa Anna and Georgetown ones completed. Thank you for your time and committment to the company.
I would wait for BEHL to make the announcement to put faith in that PBR being BEHL's. Plus, Cohen loves BEHL, no way he leaves them out in basically a thank you announcement.
I have an email in to Monique and Dennis both asking for a little clarification on their article.
Before you call, you do realize that a President of a company is not the same thing as a CEO, right?
These are two different positions, which is why Dennis has been listed in the past as being BEHL's President and CEO.
In my opinion, it would make no sense to have a V2 or V1 up for commercial testing when V3 is what you will be marketing to producers.
Results of testing the V2 or V1 would not be applicable to V3 due to design changes in the turns and the tubing.
In my opinion, Lone Star is positioning themselves to be the center node in evaluating this technology from all companies inconjunction with being the primary training and education facility for operators of the equipment. At least that's the vibe I get from that article.
Go back and reread the PR.
Slowly.
Take a breath.
You may realize she was not promoted to CEO.
I don't think that's BEHL's PBR. Harvel Plastics (EnviroKing) is not the manufacturer of BEHL's UV resistant tubing.
Lone Star is most likely establishing themselves as the forefront school in algae research and training operators of various PBRs.

This professor might be interested in BEHL. Check out the comments regarding open ponds and the free rich nutrient stream us humans create everyday.
At least Big attempts to answer your question.
Here it is again:
Can it really be called dumping with only 1.8 million trading hands and a float of over 370 million?
Can it really be called dumping with only 1.8 million trading hands and a float of over 370 million?
Things must be looking up for BEHL if the swamp thing is back.
Gator going to push us to .155, then disappear again!
Ouch...thought you were still holding. GLTY.
Hardwood...ICTY making noise. eom.
Apparently, it's not only shame that is lacking.
The new CEO is a male. Monique is not the new CEO.
Part of the PR issue is the level of excitement Dennis has for this industry. That passion caused him to jump the gun and release very very forward looking statements as forward looking statements.
Couple that with the funding drying up for a lot of privates and other start ups along with the SJC foreclosure, and we have our big monkey wrench in the BEHL machine.
Considering BEHL has established a revised plan of goals, let's just get the info out there when the tasks are accomplished. Any extra work that brings completion to unPRed events is icing on that cake then.
I don't share your concern re: the permits and do not see how getting an answer from a fourth board member would do anything to lend DF any credibility in your eyes.
If you can explain how I could alleviate your concern better than Dennis or the other three members, feel free to try and change my mind and I'll add it to my list of items to discuss with DF.
That would be a question for RWE to determine why it will take 4 weeks.
Having the site prepped, meaning excavated, power supply lines brought in, 6300 sq feet and surrounding walkways leveled, flood protection and berm work put in, would be a huge factor.
I wonder if the 'rapid deployment' is for sites with prep work done.
I guess I can ask BEHL that.
How long does it take to prepare a site?
I have a similar email in my inbox from December.
Said seed crop was started.
Things do change. As evident by the confrontational tone taken on by a number of people here lately. I've been trying to cut down on posting. I can see where the hand holding has tired DF.
With the interest being shown in the small equipment pieces (i.e, the desktop) and a number of universities and high schools venturing into algae research, it would be nice to have a storefront up to sell that equipment.
Helps to keep the lights on.
I dunno, but maybe the new CEO is that kid who devised a way to double algae growth in that article that was posted here.
Just thinking out loud here...
That would bring us down to 20 days.
Imagine finding a buyer to take 6.6 million of omega 3 every 20 days, 18 times a year...
Of course, that's all dependent upon BEHL offering him a compensation package that outweighs his allowance.
I believe Zenxin is the Chinese manufacturer out of Guangzhou.
Martek's DHA Gold featured in Dog Supplements
http://www.prweb.com/releases/Martek_Biosciences/DHA_GOLD/prweb3653924.htm
Columbia, Md. (Vocus/PRWEB ) February 26, 2010 -- Martek Biosciences Corporation (NASDAQ:MATK) announced today that its DHA GOLD® is now featured in two canine supplement products, FORTITUDE™ Canine and FORTITUDE™ Canine Joint from Kauffman’s Animal Health. DHA GOLD is a DHA-rich, algae-based animal feed ingredient.
Kauffman’s FORTITUDE Canine and FORTITUDE Canine Joint are palatable, natural whole food supplements for dogs. FORTITUDE products are available online (www.KA-HI.com) and at regional independent pet stores, concentrated in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
“Martek is happy to be working with Kauffman’s Animal Health to provide the important benefits of DHA GOLD in a product line that pet owners already know and trust,” said Christian Martin, director of Martek’s global animal nutrition group. “Product launches like this one demonstrate that innovative animal nutrition companies recognize the important benefits of DHA GOLD for animal health.”
“It can be difficult to ensure that your pet is getting the DHA that it needs,” said Melissa Giordano, Animal Health Specialist for Kauffman’s. “These two new products from Kauffman’s with DHA GOLD had excellent results in our palatability studies and are great options for dog owners.”
DHA GOLD is a dried, whole-cell algae product used to provide DHA enrichment for companion animals, performance animals and commercially raised animals. Adding DHA GOLD to animal feed is a safe and effective way to deliver preformed DHA to animals for their nutritional benefit and to enrich foods such as eggs, meat and milk. DHA GOLD is unique in the market because it is from a sustainable and vegetarian source and is free of ocean-borne contaminants.
Kauffman's Animal Health, Inc. was founded in 1978 as a small family oriented business with the intent to manufacture, package, and market a line of nutritional supplements and premixes aimed at feed manufacturers and feed dealers. Over the past 30 plus years, the company has grown in size and scope of manufacturing. The company now manufactures and markets products in three distinct categories – equine and companion animal feed supplements, bovine and dairy related feed supplements, and poultry and livestock nutritional premixes. In looking at that list, I see the website update as the only hanging item, given the amount of collaboration between BEHL, Siemens, RWE, and BECO to get the deficiencies of the prototype worked out.
I'm glad Dennis did not sell any equipment/Version 1 reactors. Imagine the horrible press, reviews, customer comments from rushing the version 1 out the door. If you're going to tout a system as turnkey, it better be turnkey or you will have a very irate customer base. What's that saying about a person and telling 10 others about a bad experience with a company?
Probably would have nixed the whole RWE venture.
ETA: #9 is a hanging item (Form 10-K). Target date was over a week in the past.
Please print this post out and run it down to your boss' office:
I sold my shares because of inthemix's posts.
Why are you focusing on percentage gains instead of what BEHL would need to accomplish to achieve a market cap of 3 billion with a PE residing between 10 and 15x earnings?
A 5,000% increase may seem like a big number until you run the income streams behind it based upon the 2 year business plan BEHL has revised.
Winner winner chicken dinner.
Her school has a very close working relationship with DARPA and her DARPA related projects are in her bio.
DARPA is claiming they will be cracking the $2 threshhold in the coming months. The article has been posted here a number of times.
Anyone know of any algae specialists associated with DARPA projects, either currently or in the past? Anyone?
I would agree. DF's estimation on fair value seems to be accurate. He would know what has transpired since 1/1/10 in regards to culturing station sales and desktop models that went out the door in January. I don't see the completion of the PBR as being a bomb but rather a spark for a slow burn forward.
And yes, I also agree on the need for the next filing. Audited statements and a 10-K as they progress BEHL towards the OTCBB will help the PPS along with progress on the 150 acre project that DF already has 2 clients and a possible 3rd in.
To get a pps of .15 BEHL needs the following:
Market cap at .15 x 1 billion shares = 150 million
Divided by 10x earnings = 15 million
Divided by 15x earnings = 10 million
2 clients signed up for initial 150 acre project = 20 acres X 86 = 1.72 million. That's assuming the cost stays the same despite BEHL doing the onsite maintenance and stuff (I'd say if you're getting in the farm, look for the cost to be about 100K per acre).
6.6 million in Omega 3. Let's say 50-50 split = 3.3 million.
We're up to 5 million already and it does not include desktop sales, culturing stations, wall PBRs, any 3 acre purchases, royalty fees for per pound production, patent licensing agreements, etc.
Just an estimate and all in my opinion.
I thought it was going to be the new name for the WOW board.
Learn something new everyday, I guess.
No, it has not. That can easily be determined by reviewing the PRs released.
Thank you for taking the time to inform the less informed posters about what could easily be found in the recent filings.
It makes the cries of 'dilution' ring ever more hollow.
No, I pointed out earlier this week how the PPS of BEHL is a direct correlation to my breakfast choices.
I'll post a screenshot of the spreadsheet I built out that ties the two together.
