LOL. Attitudes are starting to change around here.
Interesting how the stock is moving back up with a steady velocity. Almost ... hate to say it ... bullish!
Alfie just posted on Yahoo.
He is still bullish!
And one thing I don't hear very much us what the company stands to lose if the shorts are brought to the fire. You are right, the management is keeping their cards close. There is really only so much value in playing friendly with the market makers.
exactly. Every seller has a buyer. I think shorts made some money yesterday and today though.
I have theories its a little deeper than that. They are working with this Crest Financial and they are in the business of raising capital for people. That is what they do. I think there is something more to this. I spent a few hours digging through old SEC filings and such but have yet to find anything. It seems like people scratching each others back and such. I tried to link them to MM and and SM but have yet to do so yet other than they are a bunch of New Yawkers.
I think if you dig a little deeper on this it will end up as a relationship of convenience. I don't think they give a hoot about Fugu. Now there is a sentence. JMO
No, I am referring to the other Furth.
Oh, and to your number 2. You should read the article I posted ...

They warn the shorts to stay away from companies who do R/S's when the company is actually doing well. They give real examples.

Interesting. I guess since you really never take position of the actual paper shares no one really has to account for it. But it would seem there is a true accounting deficiency especially considering the sheer number of FTD's on the SEC REG SHO list.
The 100:1 split will bring us in line with NASDAQ listing requirements that is for sure. I could see where we might have to wait a little longer for the covering to happen if it to happen.
Why do you say the MM's don't have to cover. The shares have to be accounted for? If us retail owners hold 500 Mil and the Furth and the company owns another 1 Bil and the O/S is only 500 Mil (all guesses by the way), how can they perform the R/S?
Posted this yesterday. Good reading.

Or mine. I added some yesterday at 13.2 cents
But you know a lot of investors here hung there hat on the NSS play. I think they all got what they were asking for in that a qualifying event happens which requires a full accounting of the shares. I for one am hoping there is some form of a squeeze play between now and the 22nd. But if it doesn't happen, it is still, in my opinion, a good investment. The company's prospects are excellent and the stock should continue to rise in value as I see it. Everyone ran from the stock yesterday and by the end of the day the stock seemed to essentially hold its own despite the panic selling early on. I think this is a stock I will continue to hold onto at least through the 10Q, perhaps longer. The company is its shareholders and whatever they do are in the best interest of the shareholders. JMHO
Good post Spino. Been looking for answers all day even though I am still long with these guys. Your post made a little sense out of it. Let us not forget MM, SM, and even alfie are affected by todays events even more than we are. Good post.
Right! And 95% of these "traders" around here just don't get that. There is much more to this 100:1 split than meets the eye.
Some good reading on R/S folks ... especially you shorts out there should pay attention.

I picked up another 30K shares this morning at 13.2 cents. I am still long and strong.

Yes, well said. There are still fundamentals here which are very compelling. Let us not lose site of this. I do not think the full story is out yet but I do think we will see a shakeout of panic sellers this morning.
IF there is one its coming soon!!!
If there is real short position in this stock it is a good thing. If it just imagined or being being negotiated in private, then this does not help us much.
Yes, it will require an accounting of all shares. Potential for a squeeze exist. If such a short position exists, now is the time that will tell.
Things look better now than they have up till this point. I found it interesting, all week the stock struggled to drop a penny at a time. And when it did AYME on the bid bought everything that came its way. Then, in less than a half hour, AYME gobbled up everything in sight. Driving the stock up 1.5 cents. It is clear who is in the drivers seat right now. I think someone is gonna feel the pain on this one and it won't be the longs.
Season for washing cars here is over. They better dump there car wash kits or they will be holding them till June of 2010.
Michigan. Troy, Michigan. They only had 2 left.
Yeah CVS was the same price. $4.99. I think it included a chammois and two sponges. Not sure though what was included.
I am in Michigan and I saw them last week at a CVS in Troy.
Yeah, it really is the craziest thing. AYME just aint budging one inch.
Yeah, you are right. I think it will be fun too. I am convinced this is the real deal. On fundamentals alone this stock looks bright and sunny to me. Add in the NSS play and I can't see the downside. It has pretty quite this week except the sales post ... more good news that systematically seemed to drive the stock down when it was released. There is nothing random about what is happening here I feel.
Waiting and watching.
Anyone check with Delaware SOS today? Are we still holding steady at 900 A/S?
Now I do ... at .20
And I don't see AYME on the bid today. L2 looks a little strange today.
Same for me.
Where is the link?
Not too much. Subsequent events. Stock buybacks, uplisting info. Lots of info to learn.
Man, we are sure getting weird here!
My thoughts exactly.
The link does not work. I would love to read about that stock.
