Probably the best approach, in terms of trading practice.
Never buy on the news, but buy in anticpation of the news. I will be watching DCTH throughout the week. If I am smart (which hasn't been a consistent trend recently), I should follow this practice and get out Aug. 25. But then again, what if ...
James
If BK, DCTH will not suddenly end
BKs are typically a lengthy procedure. Some actually come out of BK and are profitable. If a BK is announced (which I doubt), the company will be solvent indefinitely until court proceedings end.

0.30 makes sense
It is likely we will hit that at the close of the premarket or very soon after the regular session ends. The problem is the float which is 453M shares.
http://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/dcth
With the volume of late, I don't believe the stock can continue to sustain large volumes of trading trending up. Prior to the last two days, the average volume for the 9 flat days previous was 41,672,356 where about 20M (est. 50%) were buys. The last two days of uptrending had a combined volume of 205,493,000 where about 153M (est. 75%) were buys. Total buys were roughly 173M in the last 11 days and these shares were held by traders.
But the float is only 453M! About 38% of the floated shares were consumed by investors in the past 11 days. 39,754,768 shares are institutionally-held shares,
http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/dcth/institutional-holdings
bringing the total held shares to roughly 213M shares. That means roughly 240M shares are out there to buy. On a spike up, much of this would be bought up.
I believe a spike is imminent with the rate traders are buying up shares. The spike could be today or Monday if the consumption of shares continues.

Old news - July 18
James
Still running hard in premarket.
Now at 0.23 (ask) with highest block asking 0.25. And it is only 6:35 EST! Unless sellers quit selling shares, at this rate, we could be at 0.30 at the opening bell, easily! If that happens, the lack of available shares will bring on a spike the first 15 minutes of trading. Then, all bets are off as to where it could go. $1 ... $2 .... $3 or higher.
James
Keep in mind that ...
... premarket starts Friday @ 4:30 AM EST. This stock could easily be @ 0.22 to start the regular session, perhaps even 0.25.
James
From Level II ...
... we should be at least at 0.1850 to close out AH. Then, premarket should lift off @ 0.19 or higher and likely breaking through 0.20-0.22 before the regular session tomorrow. If that all happens, it is quite conceivable to be in the 0.3s tomorrow. Any significant news, at least double it to 0.6s or higher!
James
You said you got in at 0.11
daytrader stretchin' the truth?
James
You'll be like every other trader.
You will keep checking the share price and see if you got early, way too early. And the answer is YES.
James
The trading trend today puts 0.20 EASILY in reach.
Of course, as the upper resistance continues to breakdown as shares become thinner and thinner to buy, then a true breakout becomes more and more possible.
James
Getting ready for next uplift!
When it pushes past 0.175, watch it hit 0.20 and higher! It is not a matter of IF but WHEN.
James
Beginning to erupt!
Shares getting thin to buy?
James
5 minutes left to buy cheap.
And trades on the sidelines know it.
James
Could be a blistering day for shorts.
Premarket just hit high of 0.159!
James
Strong buying pressure throughtout premarket
There has been some recent selling, but that will change. Premarket traders expect more solid gains today, perhaps like yesterday.
James
For an investor, only a fool would vote NO.
Everyone knows what will happen to an investment if a stock reverse splits. History speaks loudly for this stock. If other institutionals hold their shares, it would not only mean they have not reached their financial goals but also they anticipate a reverse split to reach those goals. One holder bailing is not a signal of holders anticipating a RS.
James
13G filing
If it were not for the 13G filing, I would say you are wrong by the link I supplied. The data in that link was good through Aug 16. However, the 13G filing trumps any link.
That said, the question remains why Ayrton unloaded their shares. No one knows but them. It could be that they made the profits they had intended. Because the future is uncertain, take the profits and run. That makes sense. However, to assume they know the future of the company would mean they have insider information. That is unlawful.
Let's just say "They made their money and will invest elsewhere." Anything else is reading into it.
James
Last premarket trade - 0.152
Steady climb up from 0.14!
James
Ayrton still holds strong position.
https://www.cnbc.com/quotes/?symbol=dcth&tab=ownership
51% of holdings belong to Ayrton, owning 41.7M shares as of yesterday.
James
Yep.
Dip was just an apparition in AH. Just like I said. Almost as quick as it dipped it popped back up.
Watch what happens in premarket. It's just beginning. Any investor better jump on in premarket. It only goes up from here. Today was a testament to that!
James
Ayrton can't know, only guessing.
Knowing would violate insider information trade laws. I noticed Ayrton dumped 51% of their shares. This really means its a 50/50 chance the R/S is no. Investments are guessing games, for most institutions and traders.
That the stock only dropped a penny means everything is up for grabs.
James
Typical of AH
The value of the company has not changed and there is no news but the stock, for a moment, drops. Watch it pull back for the same reason: no reason.
James
Solid base forming well over 0.14.
With the regular session closing in 15 minutes, the stock will be ramping up in AH. So, I would expect a surge in buyers in the next 14 minutes to get this stock at "bargain" prices.
James
If it breaks over 0.144 it will take off.
It has tried three times to break over 0.14 and stay there. Breaking above 0.14 could very well happen before the session ends or certainly in AH.
James
41M shares pulled @ 0.0007
There were 41M shares pulled from being sold at the ask contrary to about a week ago. If the MMs are showing all shares available @ 0.0007, then there are about 2M shares at the ask.
I like that. Anyone following LII should see this as an encouragement to investors.
James
Takes a lot less than that ...
... to have no market value. I have seen traders rabidly pursue stocks deep in debt. This company's latest acquisition, dividing the company up into three segments and finalizing the development of their software product (WHEN1) speaks loudly of the optimism this company has for its future.
James
Because I recall LII late last week.
It is true that the trader may have pulled his shares for sale. But on two separate days (I believe Thursday and Friday last week), there was 41M shares at the ask for sale @ 0.0007. Someone on this message board and I commented about the large block. So, it is likely still there but not displayed to scare off investors.
James
LII
Though LII doesn't show it, there still remains 41M shares at 0.0007. Once the 0.0005 shares are gone, then it will be displayed.
James
Price all over the place.
Part of it is the MMs and the other part are the traders. The MMs hide shares and then unload them, pulling down the price. Then traders want to unload their shares (by setting the ask) at lower prices than the current ask, pulling the price down.
It all makes for a difficult scenario for an investor to make good gains.
James
Interesting message board I should say.
There seems to be two extremes: the "go get 'em DCTH shareholders" and the cranky, caustic ones who hope the stock goes to 0.02. There are some on this board that are quite knowledgable of the company and even segment of the medical world that DCTH is involved with.
All in all, there are few dull moments on this board. That's very good.
James
Profit-takers
I think some these sellers read the latest reports and some learned: 1) there is little or no cash on hand; 2) there is little or no revenue; 3) there is a possibility WHEN will not remain "a going concern." The brighter side is that the company seems optimistic in providing a dividend to shareholders within the next 12 months. Put that altogether, and if an investor has doubled their investment and are heavily invested, why not take profits and run?
James
Actually no.
We have to read all your rants. History says you sure can't teach others how to trade. Investors here made a boatload of $$ by holding.
James
Time to load up at 0.0005.
Not too many shares available in light of the buying splurge at the ask.
James
Yeah right.
The only reason you are now posting is because the stock went down since the open. If it continued its gains, we wouldn't hear from you. You left the msg board yesterday because your hopes and dreams were ruined.
James
Old news
I'd like to see how they can offer a divident to shareholders.
James
Traders cutting through the 0.0006 block
It is almost gone. Then the huge 0.0007 block. Hey, if investors like this stock they will buy it. I saw 8M bought yesterday with one trade with WHEN.
James
Not necessarily
They state this,
The Company plans to recognize revenue on arrangements in accordance with Securities and Exchange Commission Staff Accounting Bulletin Topic 13, Revenue Recognition and FASB ASC 605-15-25, Revenue Recognition . In all cases, revenue is recognized only when the price is fixed or determinable, persuasive evidence of an arrangement exists, the service is performed and collectability is reasonably assured.
They may have revenue but are not reporting according to SEC accounting methods. The highen (-) in their report might confirm this, rather than $0.
Same with cash. Their are entries in their reporting that show $0.0. But not with cash. It might be a reporting issue.
Financially, the company is not in good shape at all. But, pink sheets are that way for the most part. It is high risk but could be high gain.
James
Float still very large - 44B
http://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/when
James
O/S is 89.9B
not 89.9M
He is taking his profits and running
Probably bought in at half the price. Let 'em hit the road. Some wise traders will eat up those shares.
