Have you tried to send them a email lately?
Dear Santa, for Christmas I am not asking for anything for myself, but if you can manage a deal for Cortex's management team I would greatly appreciate it. The deal would insure another 2yrs of funds for video poker, booze, and loose women. Plus it would allow me to dump this POS!
James H. Coleman Senior Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Coleman became Senior Vice President of Business Development in May 2000. Prior to joining Cortex, Mr. Coleman was President and Managing Partner of Diversified Healthcare Management, LLC (DHM), a biopharmaceutical consulting firm that he founded in 1997 in Newport Beach, CA. Cortex was a client of DHM for the year prior to his joining the company. Mr. Coleman brings to Cortex over 30 years of combined CNS pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical experience at The Upjohn Company, Pharmacia & Upjohn, Inc., and CoCensys where he acquired extensive management and operational expertise in corporate partnering, global strategic CNS marketing, clinical psychopharmacological research and sales. Mr. Coleman, designed and managed the worldwide panic disorder research program that resulted in the first FDA and other offshore regulatory approvals that established Xanax® as the standard treatment for panic disorder. Mr. Coleman holds a B.S. degree in Applied Biology from the University of Rhode Island.
I would love to know when this guy get's back from his 11 yr vacation! VP of Business Development...?
This is an urgent message from the investors of Cortex Pharm.
All Cortex board members, CEO's and CFO's missing in action. Please give us an indication of your existence, and WTF are you doing!
I would hope the position you described has been ongoing for quite some time.
They need to really sell this because they don't have anything to hang their hat on yet. Hope Servier comes thru.
Or they will own them for a severance check or two.
Let me translate.....they suck!!!
The real side effects of Ampakines are delusions of wealth, and eventual depression. ;) Can anyone who owns the stock argue with my findings. and with such a small sample group.
So why try?
Biotech like any other business really depends on leadership.
Make the right moves, and you will reap the rewards.
Please find something positive. I also hold this bag of dung.I am holding out because I didn't follow the rules. I should have sold back in 2006.
Not true! Bozo could do much better. They would be in the center ring right now. shooting for bucket no. 6.
The magic arrows haven't even gotten close to cortex's seat.
But if the arrows do land on Varney will he make it to bucket number 6. Perdiction anyone?
I couldn't agree more. These guys remind me of a Soprano's episode called chasing it. Tony drank, chased plenty of tail, and gambled away tons on long shots. All he did was gamble.
It shouldn't be like this, they should have had a winner by now!
Someone dumped 100,000 shares today for a meager .075 cents.
They probably paid $2.00 for those shares.
The news has launched a frenzy of buying!
Double down or dump!
Their are two people that used to post regularly that are missing from the daily chat. Jerry/dylan,and davey. They have the best line to management. It would be nice if someone (hint) could email their contact and get a progress report. It's so quiet, what gives?
I dismissed my purchase of cor as a stupid mistake, now it's become entertainment. Kind of like watching a reality show.
Who could have wrote a better script...I mean, booze, women, poker!
This company needs a phase 2 success, otherwise we are going no where. I am sure Varney and Co. know this, but are they looking in the right places for backing? I mean so far we have seen nothing but hype, including 2006 ADHD. I posted a long time ago that they should have been pursuing a good orphan indication for fast track.
All they did was waste tons of $ and nothing to show for it. Sad!
You are speculating. Nothing has changed except the bank account.
The data is the same, as always.
Maybe someone associated with the Servier program, or maybe someone from the J Fox program. I understand your thinking, this might be a sign of something good to come. Or maybe it's 7k wasted by another sucker, ....probably the case.
Ahh! You forget, they switched to ripple wine as a cost cutting measure. That means 4 bottles.
Remember, we all need to make sacrifices when things get tough!
It was a chain of pet stores with national exposure.
I heard a major pet shop was buying up the stock for the certificates to lay down in the animal cages. The owners of the pet store heard the company was full of shit anyway, and since the paper is cheap...
Wow, you sure changed your tune. Only one left to change to the dark side is Neuro.
Not even a laugh... Where did the sense of humor go?
Wow! From this description Haysaw must really be President Obama.
Thanks for the summary, but why the waste of time. Dr. Berry Kravis did her research years ago. They were certainly told of the promise, but chose the home run with adhd instead.
Go Bachmann!
My mom would have told me to buy savings bonds instead of this crap!
Ampakine supply is sufficient to keep their minds occupied for a long time. No more need for booze, and it's possible the new compounds prevent sexual urges.
I think Varney and company are in rescue me mode. Looking for spare change to feed the video poker games.
I hope I am too, but doubt it. Anyway, these last three years have convinced me that the only formula for success is hard work.
The other lesson I learned as a business man is sometimes we must take off the blinders to see the finish line! And the biggest lesson I learned is never invest in biotech again!!!!! It sucks
Ya Andy, lay off bclund. He hasn't said anything about Neuro, nor has he said anything bad about Cor that wasn't already expressed by someone else. As far as him appearing on the board for some sinister purpose, hahahah.....we are trading at .06 to.09 cents.
It's entertaining.
