There it is folks. Already we are being softened up to accept another delay. Now he is saying Q2 2008. Sigh.
I believe that the pps will take care of itself no matter what negative and uninformed comments may be posted, but only if we do our jobs properly. I believe we have a stellar product and so do the brokerages who will distribute SpoozToolz. The SpoozToolz product will provide tenfold what the online demo suggests. We were very careful to reveal only selected functionality before the release. The product is far more in-depth than the demonstration implies and we have mounting evidence that SpoozToolz will achieve rapid market acceptance. It is possible that this will become clear as early as the end of Q1 2008, but we will have a much stronger indication by the end of Q2. That said, management is focused on providing significant shareholder value in terms of revenues from product subscriptions.
Have you looked at the website????
Here is another let down... Has anyone heard the trading results for SWARM for October that was promised to us???????
Long term investors???? Ha, Paul is certainly turning us into long term investors! We keep waiting and waiting and waiting. Let's hope they actually release this thing before we all die.
Actually, I recommend not talking to the company. Obviously, based on Paul's last email response, everyone calling or sending repetitive email questions is taking it's toll and Paul's time. It has been great that they have been very responsive and open, but spending 2 to 3 hours a day on the phone talking with every Tom, Dick and Harry investor isn't going to get the product released any earlier.
So please leave them alone and let them work for the sake of all investors!
Yes, this is very sad and depressing. The really ironic issue is that I believe now things are a lot more promising than in the past. At least a little less risky. For one, they have at least 500k coming in per quarter, which is a first for company revenue.
Personally I think selling now is a mistake. The drop dead point for me is January. If they delay again in January, I am gone. I won't hold on for more excuses.
Very good point.
Unfortunately, I think the share price shows that people are taking your advice and moving on.
touché :) EOM.
Way to go Wing. It's nice that you bring a philosophical approach to buying the stock instead of a technical one. Very refreshing.
Trust me, I don't under estimate the complexity of what they are trying to accomplish. The complexity is the very reason I have doubts on it's ability to function properly and hence has led to not one, not two, not three, but how many delays?
I have been a user of TradeStation and when you get into the guts of the order execution you start to see just how fragile the thing really is. I was hoping that Paul and crew would be able to tackle this issue and do all the great things they said they would do.
I am still hoping.
Yeah, sorry. It used to be 141 futures. I think this is the customer he was referring to. I don't see how it could be anything but since the dates for all the packages were Jan '08 and beyond.
Your right. I did see that. I was wondering what he meant by that. My take was that was 141 futures. I could be wrong... time will tell.
Well, I hope it is headed north and not south. As for predictions on price, who knows. I am cautiously optimistic. I still hold waiting to make a few bucks, but I don't have plans to buy an island in the South Pacific (like some others).
If nothing gets released in Jan, I think I will pull the plug and bail from this thing.
GTG, I like that. Much less typing :)
Anyway, are you telling me this because you heard it from the horses mouth??? Because the last time that horse spoke, bugs were still an issue.
Welcome my Gecko brother!!!!! Very funny. I guess I am not the only one that likes that movie!
Wing, you can't prove it's available to ANYONE yet. Please show me that I am wrong here. Trust me, I want to be wrong.
Hey, I just want to make clear that I appreciate all the work shareholders are doing to gather information (even if I don't always agree). Many thanks to MuchCompensation for going to the show and giving us all something to talk about.
Great work and thanks again!
Here is the rhetoric that is getting old already...
Disruptive, everyman, revolutionary, unprecedented
Yeah, yeah, yeah... but still not AVAILABLE!!!
I completely understand that. No problem there, but this isn't about secrecy, it's about doing what you say you are going to do.
My fear now is that the tool has a lot more bugs in it than Paul wants to admit. Not to say that this still isn't a novel idea, but if you can't make it work - ?? He said at the shareholders meeting that "...this thing is ready". Well, that apparently wasn't true.
Really, the share price isn't that mystifying when the news is of yet another delay in a product that was due 9 months ago.
Sooner or later SPOOZ is going to have to give the world something. Talking about the greatest tool in the world for the next 10 years isn't going to make dollar #1.
I got a hundred bucks the tool isn't released in Jan. Any takers???
Funny (and sad) that many on this board actually started a pool for a release date in August.
BTW, Paul's presentation sounds great... that is unless you have heard this story a hundred times already.
Hey, who else here thinks Paul sounds just like James Belushi! Funny, I didn't notice this at the sh meeting, but with the presentation you focus more on the voice.
Let's hope in Jan. 2008 that they actually release the tool after 2 years of delay!
How do you know what the company is doing or how much money it has unless you have communication with shareholders and a meeting. Isn't this the very purpose of having such meetings? Yes I believe it was justified and also required under corporations. Is it not????????
Yet the company failed to comply. That to me is criminal.
I am sorry Snow, you are still not correct. The revenue projects have been posted many times.
Having said that, I still question if we will come close to any of those numbers.
So your saying it's not wrong to not have a shareholder meeting for 8 years???????????????????
You want facts??? How about the company not having a shareholder meeting for 8 years? Of course you'll dodge this question like you have many other times. Come on, let's discuss it.
Paul is far right. EOM.
Wordplay, sorry for the delayed response. Yes I have seen the demo. I don't believe SWARM will work well with equities. There isn't enough price movement to make it worth while. SWARM is a statistical arbitrage looking for momentary opportunities. You capture small price movements many times throughout the day. Stocks don't offer that many opportunities or that much price movement. This is my opinion, but if you think I am wrong, ask Darrel.
Interesting. I have questioned where the money is coming from. This does make sense. Basically it's selling 504s all over again! Anyone know more about this... about where the 1.5 million is coming from????
Stocrates, thanks for posting that reply. I believe I pointed out in earlier posts what Darryl reiterates is the email...
"Although there are those who do this in the equities market, the futures and derivatives market is all about trading, and is a market where traders and institutions with sophisticated algorithmic trading systems make the money."
SWARM, although it may work, is not really targeted at the equities market.
You really shouldn't say that unless you know. I recall someone claiming on Monday that news would be out Tuesday...
IneedMoreShares. Again I think too many people are caught up in licensing. I don't think Spooz is after that and maybe I am wrong but remember setting up 141 futures gives traders (public money) access to SWARM. That was the whole point of the deal. Now, apparently there are no restrictions on how many traders can have access to 141 futures. For example, if you have ever been solicited by a futures broker, they ofter many different services, including an account that will automatically trade on your behalf. You put the money in an account and let the broker do the trading for you. You can get an example of this by going to ProactiveFutures.com. They don't use SWARM, but same concept. Now going forward ProactiveFutures could use SWARM. The better the results, the more brokers wanting in and more money etc.
Does this make sense?
Ok. Maybe this helps sum it up. This is how I see it. The license is "exclusive" and "perpetual" so therefore the licensing is done. Forget about. There is no more revenue possibilities for this. The only problem is that this seems to contradict some hints that Paul has made, but maybe these hints are misunderstood.
Here is the thing though, the license is "exclusive" to 141 Futures, but 141 futures is not exclusive to who it can partner with. There can be more than just Kauderer International. The public money can come from many different places and I am sure Spooz is counting on that. If SWARM has good results, the money will come and Spooz gets 7% of all profits. So if you believe in SWARM, then the future does look pretty good.
Basically, the plan is not licensing, but performance. Anyone see this differently????
Good point keegers. As I see it, it was not the plan of Spooz to make money selling licenses. This move was a way to continue to trade SWARM using public money (therefore a lot larger base). Apparently they couldn't do that inside Spooz. Since they own part of (the total is not yet know) of 141 in a sense they still control both.
What will be real interesting is how SWARM performs in Q4 and how much public money gets invested. This will be a huge indicator for how valuable the company will ultimately be. Right now a lot is based on faith.
Oh yeah, and we are still waiting to see how much revenue (and if) STv2 has generated.
Well, ok. I can see 20 cents if SWARM can perform to the results published earlier by SPOOZ, but 12 trading days is merely a blip in time when determining the long term success of a trading strategy. If you believe those results can be maintained over the length of a quarter, then yes I don't see why the sp won't continue to rise. If you are skeptical that those results are really maintainable over time, then we might stall. For now, I am still skeptical. Let's use the expression "cautiously optimistic"
Well, I am hoping so, but I think that will be revealed in the next release when we see how many copies (if any) of STv3 have been sold.
"Even that's true, this stock is still worth more than 20 cents, agree?"
Ok, fair question. I can say that so far not one single published date from Spooz has been on time. The latest posted date for trading to start at 141 is early 4th quarter. Based on the track record, it would be a first if this actually happened.
I will tell you why. Because this board refused to believe that there is an opposite opinion other than the rose colored glasses that everyone wears here. I would think you would be more inviting to those that thought differently so that a more informed decision could be made. Kinda like the "keep your friends close, but your enemies closer" thing.
I already know the response to this and that opposite opinions are allowed as long as their legit and have proof. Well that's pretty hypocritical base on some of the ridiculous pumping postings that I have seen.
Well then, obviously, the world isn't full of die hard SPOOZ fans and the fact of that reality is reflected in the stock price.
After all that said, I am more hopeful lately that there is a great success yet to happen, but I think the time frame is longer and the scale much smaller than most posting here.
Exactly my point. You treat him like he is God and can make no mistakes. I think it is important to track his performance. Does this seem so ridicules? Wouldn't this be prudent DD as everyone likes to use so often?
At least your are admitting that Paul did screw up a little.
