I think big things are comming!
This is a huge play here. Getting in if your not before news is advised. A SIRI/Worldspace relationship will ne huge for Worldspace and SIRI.
Thanks
Anybody have the website that shows all post from all the message boards for any paticular stock?
Looks like 100 million to me.
I agree this is a good example of a struggling company needing better leadership. My uncle took CEO position of a company several years ago that was trading at $1.30. With his leadership skills and focus the stock is now trading at $6.50-$7.00.
This is going to be interesting to say the least.
No, lol. Disgruntled employees are not fun lol.
That is another thing that makes me smile. He could have bought the assetts of the company for 30m and just made a new company. Instead he kept the company intact and paid the debt. More than likely where the SIRI and Worldspace deal could go through steady and clean.
Those are my thoughts exactly. If Malone wants common he IS NOT going to eliminate the common. Why destroy a low stock price for a higher one to only have the lower stock price go to the new stock price. There is no profit possibilities in doing this? Keeping common for investment purposes makes since.
That would be a great possiblity.
He has several great options in favor of keeping the current common. Buying the float would be a option.
Keeping the NOLs would beneficial for the company. Also it would be easier to own current shares and ride them to several dollars when the SIRI/Worldspace deal is done.
I think it may be different also.
I believe it would.
I agree.
I think it would be beneficial for him to restructure and bring the SIRI and Worldspace deal through which would help Worldspace out and SIRI. There isn't really a reason for him to wipe out the common of Worldspace.
Yes it is.
Sirius linking with WorldSpace; coming to Europe?
Sirius’ CEO Mel Karmazin has said Sirius could team up with Liberty Media Corp to take its satellite radio offerings global through a partnership with WorldSpace. WorldSpace is currently in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and a Liberty Media subsidiary now effectively controls WorldSpace.
Karmazin, “We understand that Liberty has expressed an interest in WorldSpace. But if a partnership with Liberty did come about, Sirius would not invest any money. We would put our expertise and experience in the pot and Liberty would put their money in the pot.”
Liberty Media is controlled by John Malone, who rescued Sirius from its own flirt with near-bankruptcy earlier this year with a loan of $520m. Liberty has a 40% stake in Sirius.
Most of WorldSpace satellite radio’s subscribers are in Asia and Africa. “So one would think that if Liberty were to do something there that they would want as strategic partner somebody who has successfully done satellite radio in 5 percent of the world,” Karmazin said. Such a partnership could involve Sirius bringing its relationships with car makers and expertise in building satellite radio gear to WorldSpace’s operations, he added.
Industry observers may remember that shortly before descending into bankruptcy, World Space was in the process of securing terrestrial repeater agreements with several European nations (most notably Italy and Germany) along with an OEM receiver-marketing pact with Italian automaker Fiat. By bringing World Space out of bankruptcy, Liberty’s strong financial position, coupled with its relationship with Sirius/XM could put the company in a position to fast track a European satellite service, with lucrative prospects for expanding into the Indian sub-continent as well.
Looks that way.
Subscriptions have increased in recent months.

Worldspace, the bankrupt pay-radio satellite broadcaster, is doing well in India. Worldspace's Indian operation, despite some heavyweight negative press from disgruntled staff and customers, has seen subscribers boosted thanks to a deal with Bharti's Airtel DTH service.
WorldSpace India is not included in the Chapter 11 insolvency suffered by its Washington DC parent.
Local reports from the Hindu Business Daily say that WorldSpace now has some 450,000 paying subscribers in India, up from 150,000 in the past few months. "When other DTH service providers chose to offer AIR (All India Radio) FM channels, we went in for WorldSpace. This is our key differentiator," says Mr Sugato Banerji, CMO at AirTel DTH.
Currently, AirTel offers 10 WorldSpace channels - Farishta (old Bollywood songs); Moksha (wellness and lifestyle); Gandharv (Hindustan classical); Spin (international pop); Upcountry (Western country music); Shruti (Carnatic music); Spandana (Telugu); Sonar (Bengali); Umang (Gujarati); and Falak (Urdu).
Though these channels are chargeable at Rs 10 (20 US cents a month, for all the 10 channels), "they are bundled into our Rs 200-package ($2) and above," says Mr Banerji. The annual bill works out to Rs 120, compared with Rs 2,000 that WorldSpace charges for 40 channels. He adds that AirTel is only waiting for extra bandwidth and it will add extra WorldSpace channels. According to him, even with these limited channels, AirTel actually added more subscribers for WorldSpace than the broadcaster managed to garner since its launch in India, directly.
Sirius-XM will link with WorldSpace
As predicted by Rapid TV News Sirius-XM Satellite Radio is expected to participate in Liberty Media's international pay-radio plan for a revitalised WorldSpace.
Sirius' CEO Mel Karmazin, speaking at the Reuters Global Media Summit in New York, said Sirius could team up with Liberty Media Corp to take its satellite radio offerings global through a partnership with WorldSpace. WorldSpace is currently in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and a Liberty Media subsidiary now effectively controls WorldSpace.
"We understand that Liberty has expressed an interest in WorldSpace," Karmazin said at the Reuters Summit. But if a partnership with Liberty did come about, Sirius would not invest any money. "We would put our expertise and experience in the pot and Liberty would put their money in the pot," Karmazin said.

But there are some major problems to be overcome if Liberty's WorldSpace plan is to proceed. First up, ‘New WorldSpace' would have to work hard to re-build relationships and staff internationally. The reputation of ‘old' WorldSpace internationally stinks. Staff have quit, debts and other contractual obligations ignored and relations with major auto-makers severely damaged.
Besides these problems, there is the clear progress being made over Europe by Ondas Media. Of course, if ‘New WorldSpace' is to limit its operations to India, Africa and the Far East then Ondas will be free to pursue its own ambitions.
Strongly suggest being in this over the weekend. Too much of a risk not to be. There could be huge developement over the weekend. I expect some articles also.
Got my shares. Guess we will see what happens.
Buying tomorrow if it makes it to my entry point.
Ill see what this does. I may get some depending on tomorrows trading. Seeing as they hit oil this should have rallied a lot higher IMO? Whats up? Why aren't people buying this? Is this company bull$hit?
You should look at the daily 1 minute chart and where the volume is placed. The ask has downticked twice on no volume. I have never pumped a stock and never will. I look at the trading volume for the day and where it has occured and anyone with any trading experience will see who and when this was taken down.
Yes the MMs are definitely playing with it. The first trade of the day that brought it down was a MM trade. There are no sellers. Any new investors I would suggest buying at ask.
Lol what a shake bid and ask are .10 apart. I still regret that I missed this one when I looked at it around .03-.05. Congrats to all who have taken profits good run here.
Everyone have a good Thanksgiving. I am gone until Friday.
Yeap
Etrade has restricted this one.
We are gonna do this. I suggest everyone load up on shares before we do this.

However inside will hold 77% of that, still a much larger O/S.

I called the T/A not even 10 minutes ago and verified the reduction in A/S. I think we have a winner.
I confirmed the A/S is 100 million. Just called the T/A
This has pretty much the same same Income as VKNG and more assets. This should do a VKNG type run. This looks primed and ready to go.
Probably get filling tomorrow possibly news.
