EW, surely Berkowitz won't stand idly by, with his contacts and resources, and watch NVEI fold.
Didn't Ketch state that it would take four to eight months to test the prototype under the current financial conditions? So if we get into September without any positive news, I'm getting very concerned. Any thoughts?
"The company is so strapped finacially they just can't complete the research they need to do."
If this is the case, why hasn't Berkowitz been able to put something together to help NVEI when they really need it?
Or provide some financing himself. Surely, he knows how good the tech is and that it would be a safe and profitable investment. Doesn't he?

"when was the last time any of these fine people have come out with a public statement about NVEI??"
I've wondered about this for a long time. ND and the "blackout" are probably factors that prevent such statements. But something affimative along those lines sure would be nice to see.
cosmo, this statement in the PR could be a reason for little share price appreciation for now, "a modest cash advance". It's ambiguous and NVEI doesn't seem to get "the benefit of the doubt" at the present time.
Has the "dilution" problem been helped much in the short run? NVEI needs finances to help expedite tech development. IMO
"Do you really think that someone would make a decision to buy or not buy based on that soap opera?"- jazzman47
yes, I do feel someone checking out NVEI could be influenced "not to buy".
It's really hard to defend NVEI on Raging Bull. Please management, "deliver" something, please.
year2000, God Bless your daughter and family.
excel, I'm looking forward to this.
"Before the shareholder meeting I hope to have something for us all we can send a message with that I will reveal at a later date depending on company actions between now and then."
thanks ex!
So excel, how long you giving them to "bring something to the table"
"It still takes some time to make a decision on best offer and sign a contract."- excel
mikerub, maybe this will help "wake up" management and expedite significant developments. McCloud and WHP's expressed concerns are "huge". IMO
WHP, you established tremendous respect from little ole' me with that genuine post. Thank you, sir!
pengy, that sounds like a "broken record".
Trexville, please respond to post #11638.
Why haven't Berkowitz and some of his associates rounded up a little cash for funding with favorable terms for NVEI? Berkowitz should know what kind of potential revenue "the tech" could generate. I was under the impression Mr. Berkowitz is a very wealthy man and an astute investor.
mikerub, you're correct on the emails being the way to go. But I have a feeling this board is being monitored by NVEI, feeling the pulse of shareholder sentiment. IMO
I'm talking about when long-time advocates start to express their disappointment.
"But it would be nice to hear ot from one of the 2 co. doing the testing."
doughjo, I would think that would positively do wonders for NVEI's credibilty and pick up shareholders' morale "bigtime".
The share price would double, minimum, within days.IMO
This is the kind of spark we need.
McCloud, that post could very well be a catalyst to getting some overdue results. Now if a few others would chime in. Thank you, sir!
"When I see funding and tech updates I will change my tune."- doughjo
Under the circumstances, at least a decent movie deal needs to be accomplished SOON and announced or I'd think there will be a very "disgruntled" tone at the Shareholders' Meeting. Maybe challenging salaries, options, etc. It looks to me like more and more investors are tired of waiting for at least some new evidence to appear that their investment is sound.
"Detective" Groovy, here are your answers.
No, You've got to be kidding? Ask the chatroom gang.
None of your business, but I'm thinking, "way too many".
Cause I'm in too deep to "bail out" now for so little.
No.
Let me ask you a few. Are you affiliated with NVEI in any way other than a shareholder, have you ever posted here or on RB with another alias and what's your agenda?
As you can see, I'm somewhat curious about where you are coming from as well.
Have a good one.
Groovy, I'm a "calculator" alright.
I'm trying to figure out if I am going to "lose my posterior", so to speak, on NVEI or whether I'll come out real well. Right now, I'd say it's about 50/50.
bigalan, could be. But isn't post #11576 a little "mild" for Mikey? One way or the other, I came to the conclusion a long time ago what mikey says negative about NVEI should have very little to do with it's share price if they have and deliver the goods. Agree?
Groovy, does xkeeperofthekeysx have legitimate concerns?
Groovy, is that a compliment?
CJ, that's cool.
But what did you mean, "it doesn't help."?
Amen, spokeshave.
"I also think that they could communicate a bit more without spilling the beans if they are clever about what they say."
CJ, it isn't "Mikey". Hey, just ignore me. No big deal.
immitt, I'm not sure what you think of me. No big deal.
But personally, I've found your candor refreshing.
Groovy, I don't even know how to short a stock.
Please refer to Spokeshave's realistic post #11556. What an "awesome" post.
spokeshave, that was an awesome post.
Have we been "shammed"?
I received a call from a fellow shareholder today asking me this? He also told me of another shareholder that he heard is getting weary of the lack of substantiated developments from NVEI. People, this "weary" shareholder has, from what I've heard, a substantial position in NVEI.
NVEI needs to deliver something "meanningful" pretty quick. IMO
Why would anyone want to sell NVEI right now? After waiting this long, NVEI MIGHT FINALLY be poised to deliver some shareholder-friendly news. We can only hope. It's kinda like "watching paint dry".
excel and others I've had recent issues with. I'm about as tired of these issues as you. But let me turn the coin. There have been occassions where, in my enthusiasm for NVEI, I know I influenced some people to invest in NVEI. Without telling them to buy. They could now tell me what I told McCloud without actually blaming me for them being down. I look at it as "ribbing" more than "blaming" per se.
I have also "ribbed" some people with some redundant questions. I realize now that some people seem to be sensitive about being, shall I say, "overzealous" with some of their past projections for NVEI. I could be wrong on that.
I plan to "cool it" with those types of questions in the future.
I still feel that question I asked EW about whether the share price could get to $1 with a decent movie deal was legitimate and there were some interesting responses to it.
Let's move on!
excel, but where do I say I "blamed" McCloud?
"I know, listening to you and many of your "compadres" has not exactly "enhanced" my portfolio."
Let's hope NVEI gives us something else to talk about this week.
I have two questions. I hope they are acceptable to the forum.
Could some of you "hotshots" show me where I actually said I "blamed" anybody for my investments?
And I won't, unless I see I've been intentionally mislead. I am a little suspicious of some of the things that have been said over the years. But I still reserve judgment. I'll admit, I have gotten "overly-enthused" with some posts and they influenced my decision to buy more. But ultimately it was my decision.
Also, have I ever "bad-mouthed" anybody unless they "messed" with me? It's not my style.
If I did, I apologize.
I'm not interested in playing politics or mind games. But I will defend myself from what I consider unfair attacks.
My main focus, is to see if NVEI actually delivers something worthy of shareholders' support. I feel it's long overdue.
Happy Mother's Day
divinge, you are open-minded and perceptive.
I wasn't going to post anymore (I'm sure to many's delight) until I read your take of the situation.
My persistent questions to some posters was my way of reminding them that I remember them "blowing a lot of smoke" about NVEI in the past. I'm just curious to see if they are "waivering".
I'm really not blaming anyone else for my investment. I'm a big boy. Unless, I find out I was intentionally deceived.
McCloud
That deleted post was for you, fella.
