Looks like the float is INDEED as low as has been claimed here. Bye bye flippers. There's a new game in town.
A bit of news and we're over $3.00 for good.
CHB still in play for you Chart?
I know at least 2 reasons. Let's see...an insider buys shares because:
1. He knows the PPS will rise
2. He's an idiot. (see CTGI insider buys and current PPS)
It's a nice indicator to be sure, but just one another piece of the DD puzzle.
NRI.TO, NRIFF
FDA approval on hold. 3 month delay to sift through new information.
http://www.nuvoresearch.com/documents/2009-08-04%20Nuvo%20FDA%20Extends%20Review%20of%20Pennsaid.pdf
Mark the November date for a pre-announcement run-up in the PPS. This drug approval is starting to remind me of the long, long road HEB is on. Sigh
Also worthy of mention is the August 5 date for an FDA decision on Pennsaid for NRI.TO, NRIFF.PK (.353)
I know it's a grey sheet company, but the volumes have been robust lately. It has dropped from the 52 week high of a week ago, but with such a large float and convertibles paid out at .12, it's easy to see why some would cash in before the decision date.
Covidien bet 10 miilion large on approval. I'm in for a smaller piece of the action, lol.
Point taken there, to be sure. The lack of dilution or insider sales, though who can say for sure now that this is a pinkie, are the only reason I'm still here.
Reporting a phone call from the company which claims that PR's will be issued, revenue made, etc, is not an opinion. It's deceit.
With all due respect Lowman, the "buy-in-now-or-forever-regret-your-poor-decision has been a standard post of yours for the past few years. I guess sooner or later, you're bound to be right, lol. Many. many micros and pinkies have gotten up off the mat, tripled, quadrupled or better since .10 shares have been available.
As for the legal issues, I don't know if it's it's sound reasoning, simply because DR is silent, to say that the reason DR is silent is because of legal issues. Silence could be the result of a number of different reasons, some of which, as a shareholder, I hate to even mention.
And really, the sum total due from the lawsuits in question is a nothing compared to what your forecasts of CTGI's worth is. It's like the Chastang landfill all over: if it worked as predicted, we wouldn't be having this discussion. The revenue and profit would be there, the debts paid, etc.
I hope like every other long here that the PPS rises, and for real reasons, but I can't buy into the "last chance" argument yet again. Especially given how we've been treated since Oct. 2008.
Blink, assuming Fotis didn't divulge any inside information, why are you being so coy? Just tell us WTF he had to say. Your wagon's loaded, it's a public forum here, so what's the problem with sharing the news?
Jimmy, do you still moderate this board? Why isn't this clown banned for his misleading posts? How do you expect newbies to take this board seriously when posts like this are left unchecked?
Awesome call on NSPH, $heff. All those days of low volume to accumulate as well. WTG!
NEOP up .13 to 1.46
Sigh. Gone are the days when we actually had the company to talk about..........
I second that request. Please keep in touch.
While I'm very excited about the report, as S Keevil himself said, it's "confirmation". We all bought in thinking there was a LOT of niobium in them there rocks.
The NI is a fantastic achievement, but it has been anticipated for some time now. I'm sure that Scott, like the market, is already looking ahead to "what's next?"
Depends on the Q and the PR which follows. I'll certainly sell at the former highs if possible (over 10 bucks a share!)
Bailed out today. Lucky it was early as this is sinking like a bowling ball. GLTA still clinging here.
May the Fotis be with you!
Not to mention the worst possible recruiting tool for potential new shareholders. The CTGI logo is: "In Don we trust," because that's the sum total of what's known here for the past 6 months.
Thanks for your input rpg101. Best of luck with the new venture! Your voice here will be missed.
If indeed the TDGI financials are all in order for the RM into a new company, Fotis will be out the door and someone new will be calling the shots. Hopefully that's why he's muzzled now: because the only words left for him to say are, "good bye".
I know that John has the sole contract with NASA. he must have a pretty good idea of the number of tapes they need recorded. Has this number been discussed on the board yet?
TIA
NRIFF.PK or NRI.TO
Been climbing steadily up toward .40 (US) on higher volume as warrants are shaken out and FDA approval for Pennsaid nears on August 5th. The company has already been paid 10 million by Covidien and stand to make much more when FDA approval comes. Covidien will also carry the full costs of clinical trials for Pennsaid Plus, slated to commence in 2010.
It's also important to note that they've also received an "approvable letter" from the FDA.
Who cares if these fools sell their shares and pump at the same time? Anyone who relies on these boards for a purpose other than pure entertainment is destined to lose all their cash anyway.
Longs here have faith in the CEO's ability to fulfill his vision for TRTN. There will be bumps along the way as the technology for mass production of plastic to oil gets perfected; that's to be expected. Right now we're a company of vision based on solid accomplishments in the past. Visions are plentiful on the OTC.
And the yoyo share price we're now seeing shouldn't come as a surprise either. It's gonna take a solid Q or 2 until we're established and have a history of earnings and revenues. Until then, we're somewhat hampered by the combination of low volume and loose shares that were purchased for pennies or less. These are opportunities IMO. Tomorrow I'll try and take advantage of this situation by stringing out some low-ball bids. It's not what I prefer to do, but you gotta' play with the hand that you're dealt.
Let's not let this board turn into another IHUB pissing match that has nothing to do with the DD of TRTN.
Relax. The company is a few weeks old. So it isn't a 10 bagger yet....but give it time.
Early stage OTC companies never have what this has going for it: revenue, profit, a dedicated and visionary CEO with a longer term outlook and world class technologies just to name a few.
Thanks Rain. Any prognosis for TDGI this week?
Thanks MC. I think we'll see a re-fi of the 2009 bonds announced soon. If Chemtura owed the bond holders 5 million dollars, Chemtura would have a problem. When Chemtura owes the bondholders 370 million dollars, the bond holders have a problem.
Unsecured assets give Rogerson a lot of leverage when the parties sit around the table and hash out a deal.
Maybe this topic has been covered in previous posts:
What outstanding debt/bonds does Chemtura have that aren't secured or gauranteed by hard assests?
TIA
Over a million shares traded today and up 2%. Looks like insiders are following up mews by selling off yet again.
Wow, wish I had another 25k to throw in here. What a post! TYVM and good luck with the move to Cambridge.
TRTN
Check out the CEO from the last PR:
"Our capital is better used for us to acquire profitable companies than to spend valuable company capital for short-term gains in the stock price," said Mr. Bordynuik. "Do not call us. If you want to promote this stock then buy it and promote it based on its real value."
People pay him to decode their tapes, then pay him to dispose of their tapes, then he converts the plastic tapes to oil and sells it.
The franchise possibilities are amazing
I agree with your post wholeheartedly. There can be no logical explanation for DR's silence within the context of running a business; other forces must be at work.
The one explanation that comes to mind is that, as currently priced, CTGI has little money to pay off lawsuits, La Jolla or any other outstanding debts. Those pricks can threaten and cajole all they want, but you can't squeeze blood from a turnip. And with so much of his own cash at stake, it's very understandable that DR won't dilute simply to pay off lawsuits if he doesn't have to.
In the best case scenario, Don is swinging a deal for pennies on the dollar to those he owes money to. When that deal is cut, we move ahead (quickly I hope) with a selling of LTC for a flat fee plus a % of future sales.
In the worst case scenario, Don has decided that he persoanlly can't spend another nickel on CTUM and is fuitlessly working the phone to try and wrangle one more cash infusion.
No humor intended; sorry for your loss. I can sympathise as my parents are amongst the many seniors who did the right thing all their lives, saved and paid their debts monthly and were rewarded for their efforts by today's ongoing devaluation of the 40% of their retirement that remains.
The difference between "pink" and "blue" in stocks has been irrevocably blurred in the past year. A company's individual merits are all that matter. That's why I like SPHE at this price.
By the time this trades better than 500k shares a day, it'll be 200-800% higher than the PPS today. Amemic volume is a blessing for those of us building positions because we like the prospects over a time span greater than a week. SPHE is no TDGI. While I'm in both, SPHE has rock solid fundies: a great share structure, low float and a website that shows future growth.
TDGI is certainly more of a risk, but if I wanted a surer thing at a lower rate of return, I would have bought Citi or BAC or GM....hmmmm, wait a minute, lol
TY ninja. You sure turn over a lot of stones!
Just trying to work out what has happened to this company and why. I'm still a long here and happy to buy more if the DD recommends it.
Misinformation? Well Lowman, please post a link to solid evidence of LTC being successfully used to weld spleens, livers, lungs, stomachs and other organs in live human beings. And not a CSMG PR. The Ukraine has medical standards as well, and I'm sure their surgeons and medical inventors publish their results in medical journals, just as they do here in the USA.
From the website, the results of testing against the Gyrus system show that LTC, as currently FDA approved for duct sealing, is better than the competition. But not monumentally better. And clearly not so much better that surgeons and hospitals are ready to throw out their current equipment for what LTC can offer.
The real difference in LTC is the promise of organ welding. Proving this up will cost 10's if not 100's of millions in clinical trials. It will also take years. DR has neither.
We need a buyer for the whole of LTC. Attempting to bring LTC to market without a partner, if that's DR intended, was a huge miscalculation. And given the amount of time we waited for FDA approval, a JV deal should have been negotiated, contingent on FDA approval.
WTF is/was Richard on the BOD for if not this?
Had to tap the ask to get filled: 2k at $1.25. It's a start.
I've been placing lowball bids for 4 days now and NOTHING. In the end, I didn't want to be kicking myself over .25
SRSR.PK .097
This has been a beautifully gradual climb from under a penny, backfilling all the way up. Still awaiting the publication of the NI 43 101 any time now, which will confirm massive niobium deposits. They've also PR'ed a gold strike recently and have announced plans to continue drilling gold.
REEs and the companies that mine them will have their day in the sun.
SRSR reminds me of BQI when it traded on the OTC for .50 or KCL before the big run up in potash: early stage exploration companies defining huge deposits in safe places. The size of the deposit alone is enough to propel the PPS higher.
Given those choices, I'll vote for news. The other 2 will follow like fleas on a dog.....pedigreed that is. The pump's down today, not just here but on most of the pennies I follow. Good luck getting out of any momo plays under .05......maybe a sign of a fundamental market shift.
News is king!
Now a couple of buyers and away we go...
