Actually, it was just the vehicle to make a comment. Your wizardry is beyond me and I respect it. And I know how long everybody has been on this board. Nothing about you and I am sorry if I offended you. Should have hit pubblic post rather than public reply. :)
I don't know much about your wizardry and gobbedly-gook charts, and investor psychology, but I do know production and operations, and my sources tell me Dredge is indeed working miracles in SL. He stated a few weeks ago that he was hoping to do this or that, but the fact is, problems arise daily that are frustrating but still needs to be solved in order to move forward. Because he is the man for dredging, any time away from the dredges can slow things down, and because he is the man with the know-how and contacts, he has had to be away from dredging in order to get licensing accomplished. While it slowed production, it will now allow SNEY to expand into other areas in its operations. One whinner keeps bitching about why things aren't being done timely, and it is plain he does not understand logistics or business period. But there is no question that diamonds and gold are being produced and if stock prices follow production and profitability, then we will still reach a dime by this time next year, because this company is getting the goods BIG TIME. Jim
Personally, I find it reprehensible that some members of the board are allowed to read a message and then others or not because it was deleted prior to their logging in. That is grossly unfair. Moderators should not censor items because they feel someone's position precludes them from making an on-point statement. Please repost the deleted message for the benefit of those who didn't get to see it, and refrain from deleting messages that pertain to SNEY that are within the rules. Thanks, Jim
You ought to see the avatar in Seattle. Put that one back on Silver. Haven't seen it in years.
Take MsScooby22 with you. But check back when you can. You might want to sell out and after it drops like a rock, come back in at a lower basis. GL Jim
You're kidding of course. This company won't have positive cash flow for at least 6 months, if then. Every time it expands or enlarges its capabilities, it is with real cost. And with what it is doing, the costs are going to be huge, and in Africa it will not be cheap. As long as its headed north, I like it. Jim
Please. No one jump on him for this. He's new to the board and doesn't know that Dredge operated under, shall we say, less stringent reporting requirements in a lawless civil warring country and although he knew how to walk things through with a wink and a handshake, not to mention frying pans and other merchandise for the locals, its a new ball game now and he is still in operations, not licensing, although I'm sure he is helpful. Nice try again MsScooby22.
For those of us in the industry (oil in my case), this is the kind of news I like to see. This is turning out to be just what I was hoping for 4 years ago. Getting to the product is easy if you have the right geology, equipment and technical knowhow. But unless you have an infrastructure like we have in the US where you can find "gatherers" around every corner in the oil patch, try marketing the product. SNEY didn't have to worry about that over the last few years because it was trying to find its ass in the dark and had no reason to worry about this stage. (Which, in SL, probably is so corrupt and redtaped it must be a nightmare without a Dredge in your back pocket). Now that they are actually getting gold and diamonds in the bank, getting it out legitimately gets to be the challenge. And like the actual dredging and mining part, there are going to be a few stumbles coming out, but once all parts are working, then look out. That will be when the longs will start making the bucks. The short term investors will lose or make a few bucks as it goes up and down, but enjoy these prices while they are here. It could go to the .004s in the short term or not, depending on future developments, but it looks more and more likely that the company will not only survive, but will thrive. Too many associated with the company have invested too much to let it fail. We may not make as much as we hoped this year, but I bet this time next year, we are at more than a dime per share. And that is a conservative estimate. The main whiner will continue to bemoan SNEY's failure to do what he wants when he wants, but SNEY is moving on SNEY time and I like it. The little train that could is becoming the little train that did. Forget the pinks, and forget getting on OTC. That's a side issue for longs. SNEY has its financing and its now a producer. It's just getting started. Wait until revenues outpace spending. And it's just now expanding. GLA JIm
Do you even have a brokerage account? It closed up 7 today. DUH
Up seven points guys. I'll go with A. And I'm usually conservative, but I think they are on Africa time still, even in their filings. Opens with a pop.
640,000 shares is pretty low volume and it was just as I suspected. Still waiting for that big push. Maybe the forces are gathering. We'll see.
Should be a very interesting week. SNEY is already behind my prediction of .015 I set a couple of weeks ago for last week. So I am hoping for more fire and less smoke. We've been traveling on fumes for so long; now maybe they will be able to stoke the engine with some recovered gold and diamonds. And that wash plant ought to be up and running in about ten days, barring any equipment problems. Hang loose and lets see what happens today. I'm sure everyone was disappointed when SNEY didn't zoom last Monday, but that has been the pattern. GLTA Jim
Oh yeah. Most definitely. A couple of plants and loaders.
Except that a wash plant is not necessary for the dredges. They are cleaning those daily and they can get some estimation. And diamonds would be readily visible. All they have to do is weigh those suckers. Of course, I know nothing about what I speak, just opining. LOL Jim
Credibility is something bestowed on a person by others. You are credible only within your own mind. Want a vote by board members on your credibility? I didn't think so.
We heard you the first time. We just ignored you. Ask SNEY.
DD? Do you know what it means son? Detox Dweeb.
Where do I mail my $5.50?

Actually, that was my first thought on his ludicrous posts today. Reminds me of Chris a couple of years ago that came off like he was a big investor and he was just some kid blowing it out his ass. MrScooby22 has the same credibility. Just likes to read his own spiel. Oh, the 10K is brutal....as if all the other ones weren't. How many times do we have to say that we all knew that going in. He likes to talk the obvious. It's the next few 10Ks that we are looking to. I have said GL to him also (get lost). Jim
Of course SAE* was a scam, but it shows what a big PR will do when gold becomes immanent and add diamonds to the recipe, if the news hits the day trader forums, it could rocket straight up. Be tempted to sell then until they get out and it resumes a steady climb, which it appears likely to do, again based on good numbers of production and securing more leases and signing more contracts in the security and housing sectors , not to mention solar energy. But with Dredge focusing on the real core business, it could be real sweet as mentioned today.
If the quarterly is about what we expect it to be....no big negative changes and an indication of positive changes including a modicum of cash flow, it could be big. But like you I think it will be just a steady increase unless they make a spectacular press release about a huge diamond or big nugget find. Then it could be like SAE* a few years ago and hit a dollar in a manner of weeks.
Up .01 today. Not bad. I expected a bit of a twist at the end in either direction, but we held steady. Realy going to be fun. In spite of MrScoob22, I think we could well hit .02 in two weeks if it breaks right. Sorry Austin, but it still looks like a strong push north. Jim
ANd he probably thought I meant Good Luck when I said GL mi amigo when I meant Get Lost. Plus he still hasn't shown the necessary intestinal fortitude to tell us he is invested in SNEY. And he smacks of credibility?
Tell 'em like you see it Scooby. There's all kinds of stuff he could say, but you'll find the hole in the silver lining. By the way, you never mentioned if you are invested in SNEY, or just an independent basher. Again, just curious. I find your writings more lacking than the material you're criticizing. No critical analysis, just pointing out the obvious to an already knowing group of real investors. GL mi amigo.
Can't argue with that. It's very true. But the reason we are invested is because we like the gamble that it will make it happen and indications are that it is on the right path. We all want to see the numbers.
I'm just curious. Trying to see your point. You've been on the board since at least August 2011, so you pretty much know SNEY's history of pratfalls and management changes, and all of its shortcomings. Why state the obvious? The difference in management styles, investor relations, scope of operations, and diversity of products has changed dramatically and we are finally changing direction positively. As one person stated, SNEY has its own plan, and it will give us information when it suits it or when it can, but until then we just keep going on. When it comes, it comes. It certainly is rebranding itself and that is a good thing.
I agree. I have been trading SNEY for the last few years averaging down because I found a pattern that was highly predictable. But now, the pattern is gone and its crazy to try it now. I did manage to sell abunch at .0030 and buy a third more back at .0020. I don't want to risk that right now, because it won't fall fast now, but it has the potential of popping if the right news hits. If the wrong news comes, most of the longs are prepared for it, and it won't worry us, but if the right news hits, it could zip real fast. Jim
Your conclusions are yours. Keep them for wahtever they are worth. Just saying....what's your point? We are capable of interpreting all of the information available. Just saying....son, get with the program and try to be helpful....just saying, we don't want to be counseling or teaching you about penny stocks.....just saying, your conclusions are based on the information you believe you have, so just act on them....you still haven't said if you are invested in SNEY. Just saying.....if you aren't, why are you here? If you are, why are you second guessing yourself? Just saying.
Notice the difference between this actual one and the one posed earlier to whcih Long22 gave an unqualified yes to. Be very careful when listening to those who really do not do due dilligence. Believe half of what you see, little that read here applies. Jim
Thanks Mikey: and I am happy that you made a tidy little profit on your in and out. You may not make the big bucks onthis one, but you won't lose either. Your advice is always sound. Jim
Oh darn it. Ok, if you want to stay in and risk it all, do so. But I'm warning you. You could make millions and where will that get you? If you get out now, you will only lose a few hundred or thousand dollars. Staying in could cause lots of problems down the road, like what to do woth all the loot. Still GLTY.
GET OUT NOW!!!!!! THIS IS GOING TO CRASH SUCKERS!!!! GET OUT NOW.!!!!! WAIT!!!! I MEAN LIKE I'VE SAID ALL ALONG. THIS IS GOING TO MAKE MILLIONS!!!!! STAY IN LOYAL INVESTORS. YOU INVESTMENT ADVISOE LONG22. I SAY IT EVERY WAY IT COULD BE. JUST ASK RAIN. WE'RE BUDS.
For us longs, in case it skipped your attention we are at the three year anniversary of the great rise and fall of SNEY prices. This month in 2011, we were flying. After this month, we should be soaring. GLTA. And Rain was spot on. Austin should be working on the big board and leave the pennies to us. Heck, if he were in Austin, either I would move or he would. This town ain't big enough for the two of us. LOL
Great rebuttal. Your on a roll tonight.
I understand your disagreement, but history has proven you wrong. We went to .026 on absolutely nothing with all of us bitching because we couldn't get any communications from Steve or anyone else at SNEY. We can easily get above .03 with no great numbers as long as communications are flowing and we understand where we are. If we lose confidence, then that will be a different game, but until then we keep on going.
Explain the spike to me. Something we are not privy to happened or is happening and it happened on the last day of the week. What is your opinion?
Well said. Well said.
Thanks for keeping it real. We do want to see the numbers, for sure.
I doubt any newbies got in at .0006; probably some of us averaging down. But if someone did. They already have a ten bagger. A TEN BAGGER ALREADY. Me, all I need is that one tick up and I am in the black (by $250.00 LOL). But now every tick up will be $6,200 in my pocket
Come on DB. Patience for the Newbie. He obviously is just in need of tutoring. I think with patience we can get him up to speed and he might be confident to jump in at .25. Nah. Obtuse it is.
