Florida development in lawsuit crossfire
Mar. 16, 2010 (United Press International) -- A lawsuit in Florida related to the Trump International Hotel & Tower pits a mortgage holder against potential condo owners, an attorney said.

"Our clients signed contracts and advanced money to the developers before they could borrow from Corus," attorney Joseph Altschul said referring to Corus Bankshares (OOTC:CORS) , the Chicago lender that shut down last year.

Altschul said the deposits on units in the 24-story Fort Lauderdale project made it possible for the developer SB Associates LLC to secure $139 million in loans. The new mortgage holder, Corus Construction Venture, owned by Starwood Capital, filed suit to foreclose on the property after SB Associates defaulted, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Tuesday.

Earlier plans for the project called for its completion in 2007. Now in a crossfire of lawsuits, including one filed on behalf of condo depositors, "there's a dark cloud hanging over the whole property," said attorney Jared Beck, who also represents would-be condo owners.

The Donald Trump Organization said it was only nominally involved and had only licensed its name for the project.

You have already screwed up the share price, already screwed us by not clearing up TD, Scott, ect. It is time for updates!! With us having SOOOOOOO much potential, govt contracts possible, plant running later this year, where oh where is the buying from insiders? Do they really care about the stock or its' shareholders?? Dividends to attract long term holders, but some have yet to recieve them and I for one want to see updates. That is what long term investors want to see. I want to see the company grow, read about the company growing as it happens. Not hear about it from the PI's here on our board who do all the work. Actually, I am just dic-ing around. I am still down on this stock, bought from .0004 to .0031. My average is down quite a bit now though. This stock had so much potential b4, and they let it just slip away. Now??? Dragons finds are the only thing encouraging here. Does Brian know what he really is doing??? Mac may, but Brian don't. He used to be a MM, think he would have known how to get the price higher and get us out of this BFFMess we are in with Scott, AMTD, Ect. IMHO!!
