deeba, I'll admit this looks "kinda fishy". But please tell me again, if I missed it, why MMs would want to hold NVEI back. I know it's probably been addressed before, but I can't remember what the theory was.
jjz, good call, but troubling just the same after such a glowing report from Ketch.
Brady, that sounds like a question I would ask. lol
Brady, are you a counselor? If not, you missed your "calling".
Thanks for your concern and great advice.
GATEKEEPER, I always thought Pandaman was a "straight-shooter".
xkeeper, that's not me. But I can assure you I have enough shares to continue asking questions about my investment. At least until I know they are more than just talk on this "revolutionary" tech and they will indeed finally bring in some tech revenue.
I'm still trying to figure out what happened to the first tech they had. Did they ever officially say?
jeff, sorry, I'm not a very good "cheerleader". You didn't think Pandaman and kenecom were taunting me? I'm not going to take anybody's "crap". I may have my faults, but at least I feel I'm "open-minded" about this investment. Unfortunately, it took me a long time to realize that is the wise thing to do with NVEI.
Some of you need to be more concerned about what's going on with NVEI and less with me. Just ignore me if I'm not to your liking. Believe me, it's "no big deal" to me. Cheers!
Pandaman and kenecom, why aren't we at $100 a share yet? MMs must be holding us down. Yeh right!
It's mere speculation that MMs are holding NVEI back, could too much rhetoric and not enough production in the past be the real culprit?
deeba, aren't posters on IHub supposed to back up their posts with facts. Where are the facts?
Y2K, it's wonderful to read that your daughter is doing well. She sounds like quite a young lady.
doughjo, "Embarq Semiconductor Corporation" seems like a "natural" for product/name recognition.
jjz34, I certainly agree with your last sentence but don't quite understand your MM theory; "The MM's will be busting their butts to stem the tide of enthusiasm. They will keep the price down to frustrate shareholders and cast doubt over the very positive feedback Brad gave us from SUPERCOMM."
Why would they do that?
bigalan, very good points.
Any predictions for Monday?
It should be interesting how much the share price will be affected Monday after investors have had the weekend to digest Ketch's dynamic letter.
spokeshave, again I'm looking forward to your comments.
This time on the recent "Letter to Shareholders".
How much "bite" does it really have in it?
Cobra, what about WHP's suggestion,"Developmental Contracts"? It sounds plausible to me.
"I was recently at a trade show where much the same sort of situation unfolded for a good friend of mine who has an equally disruptive technology, which can solve an equally large industry wide problem (different industry, but a high tech industry problem). The solution... Developmental Contracts, where the major players (in NVI's case - SBC, Verizon, Alcatel, Intel) enter into individual technology development contracts whereby they don't get equity, they are allocated a portion of production over the course of 1-3 yrs at best price (whatever the best price is over time). No equity is exchanged, and the money is not a loan. The initial product is developed to meet the contracts specifications; tweeked to meet the individual needs of each customer (max 3-5 customers who will truly commit to bringing the technology to market). I can't imagine why some sort of developmental contract can't be negotiated if Embarq is truly an industry solution simply waiting to be implemented. In my friend's case, the largest industry players are practically begging to help little David slay Goliath. Why, because all ships are lifted when the tide rises. Everyone (everyone in the telco field, in NVI's case) wins if the new technology can be brought to market."
Why not "Embarq Semiconductor Corporation"?
Awesome, I could hardly believe that I was actually reading such a confident, almost cocky letter from our CEO. I'll be flabbergasted if NVEI doesn't "spike up" to close to .50 Monday. Investors, this is "powerful" commentary. If Ketch can be trusted and I feel he can, I'm thinking potential "goldmine" again. Now get the dang financing needed to see this thing through. JMHO
I really am excited by NVEI's chances, but as much as they need finances, I've been puzzled for quite a while as to why Berkowitz hasn't been more helpful, with his resources and contacts.
"are you nuts.5 million of lily beter money was supposed to be used for cu@ocx only and we know where that went!"
Weren't those expenditures disclosed?
Why couldn't Ivan Berkowitz put up one million by himself toward the completion of the chip at about five per cent interest?
Isn't he supposed to be a multi-millionaire investment banker?
Personally, I would like to see spokeshave on NVEI's BOD. I believe he would look out for our best interests. Does anybody know if there will be any Directors elected at this year's meeting?
Thanks Cobra, coming from you, that's encouraging.
Why would anybody want to sell 50,000 shares of NVEI now at .33? They surely didn't turn much of a profit, if any, on the sale. Why wouldn't they hold on like many of us for just another month or two (hopefully) to see how testing goes?
Cobra, have you heard when the shareholders' meeting is and do you anticipate any news on tech testing and funding by the meeting?
jjz, I, too, am impressed with Ketch, as I stated and defended yesterday over where the "real bashers" are.
jjz, what makes you think you're so superior?
hitimer, wouldn't you think these esteemed consultants would enhance NVEI's ability to secure favorable funding?
mayu, before I posted that, both Yahoo and RB showed the low for the day at .22. I understand it was a misprint.
thanks xkeeper, sometimes "you gotta do what you gotta do". Obviously, I'm pretty callous to the insults of the "upper class" posters.
immitt, think what you want, but a good part of the recent RAQ was directly or indirectly related to my inquiries to Ketch.
mayu, you're "reachin'",
"Also when you post something like the .22 as your header it makes people think negative and it is not valid information."
Why so paranoid, if NVEI has what it says it has?
What's the deal on the .22 low for the day?
dutch, I really don't understand why a potential investor wouldn't be very interested in the RAQ.
What's with the "volume" after a "seemingly positive" RAQ? Are investors still real concerned about funding and the amount of time it may take to realize tech revenues? What gives?
spokeshave, I'd really appreciate your take on the RAQ. From what you gather, what are your timelines considering the funding situation?
I received a response from Ketch to this inquiry.
Mr. Ketch,
Please provide shareholders with at least a general outlook on the status of tech testing in the next RAQ. Is testing progressing well and when can shareholders expect to see results?
Ketch's response,
Thank you for your note.
We will be answering this question in the next RAQ
Brad Ketch
President and CEO
Seems like there are more questions than answers regarding NVEI. Let's hope the total picture gets much clearer soon.
