I'm tempted too. They have huge incentive to move the price up over a dollar. I have a feeling that a partnership is on the way. They also have numerous compounds in their pipeline and now they have major incentive to send out positive press releases on these compounds to create an upward pressure on the price.
Dilution is also likely on the way, though. They will need a large cash infusion to keep all of these programs going. But I have to believe this will cross over the dollar mark within the next few months. That's a 33% move from here.
Who knows, maybe a 100% move or more from the eventual bottom.
So Janice, what are the chances that SLJB gets that audit completed by KPMG, PWC, or any other reputable accounting firm? Infinitely close to zero or slightly higher?
Janice, thanks for sharing that MF piece with the board. Okay, that fool earned his salary on his counterpoint attack of his fool colleague's statement about not wanting to be short at $8.00.
And shortly after this article appeared the stock collapsed. That was good research.
Oops, the motley fool gets it wrong again. Stating "I would not want to be shorting this..." at $8.00 a share. You could have made almost 100% on your short in about a month and a half since then.
Man, I hope those financial wizards are getting the hefty salaries that they deserve for their shrewd insights.
Thanks, that's what I thought I read. I read some posts from August where Ronnie was saying O/S was 150 million. Have they increased the share count over the last month, or was he mistaken about the 150?
What is the O/S for this stock?
Wow, did you make $400,000 in profits at the grocery store, too? You should have gone public!
Okay Petar, it's closed now. You can release the audit.
Here comes the run do-do-do-do
and I say it's alright!
I was wondering when that, "maybe I want to buy a few more shares before the close" run would begin.
The delay was already factored in on the drop from .20 to .15. People see the buying opportunity they've been given here.
They see that 15 cents is a gift and the countdown begins again today! The space shuttle was delayed a couple of times a couple weeks ago, but they're up there now.
I sure hope a dividend announcement is coming soon. That wasn't it. If one is announced, along with a confirmatory audit... that would be a dream come true, but really the audit will send this soaring by itself.
What if they hire Bill Gates as the new CEO. He may be looking for a chance to bring another company from pennies to the dow.
Exactly, three more days to anticipate the news. That news will confirm the stellar numbers that will send us into the dollars!
Bob, you're a genius. What Petar said matches exactly what you predicted... I'm sure that's what you predicted, you just didn't post it here.
I'm convinced this is a sure thing, but after reading so many thoughtful doubters here tonight, I just don't know.
At this point, i think it all hinges on Sunday. If we can at least stay even tomorrow, I think we'll continue our "run to the Nasdaq 2006" on Monday. Let me know how it goes, I'll be busy all day watching football all day.
Can anyone direct me to a site that announces reverse mergers that are finalized each day?
So according to their accounting, they're on pace to make about $25 million for 2006, which is awesome for the current market cap of $40 million dollars. Do they expect rapid growth over the coming years, or do they expect to keep profit margins at the current levels? TIA
What is the official share count - shares outstanding and float? TIA
So this company appears to be making money, albeit a very small amount. But it's a start. They just don't seem to be interested in giving out too much information at the moment.
What does their potential revenue look like for the next few years?
Anyone?
This is starting to track towards the gulf. Invest 91 seems to be steering Florence off it's predicted course.
Well at least you're honest, if not in any way informative.
So, does anyone have a clue about shares outstanding, float, revenues, net income or loss, what the product is made of, the market potential, etc?
Starting to hear talk of a second storm trailing florence. Gordon may not be far behind.
Three growing storms headed this way, one looks like trouble.
You're right, that was a dumb question. In fact, it was a dumb post all together. If only you could take it back.
A recap of the conference call highlights:
1. The gerentology market predicted to be a trillion dollars.
2. Regenerative medicine will constitute the lion's share of that market.
3. Advanced Cell Technology has developed a technology to propogate stem cells lines without destroying an embryo.
4. They have also created a Reduced Complexity Library (RCL) that enables them to create organs that avoid rejection, a phenomenon analogous to the universal blood type (O+).
5. Short term, this gives the company an opportunity to receive funding from the California state government project for stem cell research.
6. In the near term we may be hearing of a partnership between ACTC and a large pharmaceutical company.
My take is that ACTC is likely the front-runner in the field of regenerative medicine. If the RCL allows them to develop rejection-free organs, they will be able to capture a substantial portion of the trillion dollar gerentological market.
It looks like it was up 7 cents today or about 17%.
50 shares and holding! Okay only 25 really. I bought INTK instead. Nansulate will penetrate every industry!
Chicken man, what's your take on INTK? They just announced a collabortion with Pratt and Whitney on behalf of BMW. They also recently announced a deal with one the largest Oil companies in the world to supply their nanosulate.
I like the May 9th PR about getting advice for listing on the stock exchanges due to the company's rapid growth. Isn't the threshold to be listed on stock exchanges usually $1.00?
I believe that this stock will go back to the one's before there is any significant change in XKEM's situation. It sounds like they have a good chance to get the loan, but by no means is it a done deal.
This company has great potential, but there is still a lot of uncertainty still. Meanwhile the share count continues to grow at a pace of about $100 million per month.
I'll have to do more research on the status of their trials before I have an idea about that. They have more phase III trials on bicifadine on the way or in process. If they have success in one of those, it will rocket up quickly. Plus Indiplon still has a chance to be approved, which would bring in a constant stream of revenues.
That's bicifadine. For that matter, what's the outlook for indiplon? Again what is the best case scenario for revenues from that drug if approved?
How low can the share price go? Best case scenario, how soon till bicifidan gets approved?
I know what you mean. In most cases you'd need a crystal ball to identify a fifty bagger. But searching can lead you to a two or three bagger sometimes. I'm sure this will be a multibagger someday, but how low will it go before it runs?
Thanks, I know what you mean. It's hard to know where a good entry point is when a stock is falling. I know this one is plenty small but what kind of revenue potential do they have?
Okay, I'm seriously considering buying this stock, but before I do, you gotta tell me why you keep losing on everything you invest in. You said you now know why. With a track record like that, I have to be sure your luck has changed before I buy a stock that you own. I can't believe you're still investing after that kind of a beating.
But I took a few punches in my first few years of investing too. The last year I've turned it around and it's been fun. I just sold at a loss on a company that I like and might buy back into, but before I do I'm shopping around for the next 50 bagger like SLJB. Ameritrade says the market cap for this one is 100,000 but it sounds like it's closer to 700,000. It's still tiny, but is there a chance for revenues to blow that number away?
Ask him how much sugar they can extract per pound of biomass.
BIGD, It sounded to me like the $8.2 million loan has already been approved, and they're just waiting for it to be processed. He said that they were working on at least one more loan that they need to fully fund the factory, which will allow them to avoid further dilution and meet the needs of millions of patients.
Do you have any idea how much more they're looking for?
