TF, you're the man. Very reassuring post. I guess I should just calm down. I'm putting too much thought into this. Patience pays.
GLTA
May be back next week? Damn. You'd think the guy was in critical condition or something. Hope all is well on that side.
When you spoke to Carter, you later posted that everything was on track and patents are legit. What about that conversation made you feel that way? Just curious. Time is of the essence right about now.
I agree. I'm done adding even though I could put in for more. News better drop within 7 days or who knows what's gonna happen to the PPS. Seems like it can only hold strong for so long without something substantial to back it up.
I really hope our deal is in fact with Alarm Force. It would make perfect sense and it really seems as if their product is directly using our patents. Also considering Alarm Force's ties to Charlotte, NC it almost seems like a sure thing. I would imagine a company like Alarm Force could most certainly cough up $900K for us and expand their system and services to the US, thereby making the effort "international."
I'm a newcomer to this board (only been here a week but it seems like so much longer) but it really seems that NOW is right about the time to start getting really, really excited about this pick.
Any PPS projections for tomorrow? Six months from today? A year from today?
By the way, were the initial income projections in the PR for 2014 or for next year? If it is 2014, they had better start moving things along quickly now if they haven't already (behind the scenes). We've got a lot of money to make. Buckle up!
As I've said before, I don't know a whole lot about how this all works. So, starting tomorrow, people (investors/traders) can no longer short sell a stock that's listed in the OTC market, right? What do the MM's have to do with these short selling people? Aren't they two different entities? Are the MM's partial to the short sellers for some reason? I don't quite understand it. I hope either you or someone else can better explain it to me. Thanks in advance!
I noticed that too. Very quiet in here. I do believe tomorrow and next week will bring us great days of green. Very nice to see support at $0.009 with low volume. Very low volume. I have full faith that this will rise soon and then this board will be lit up again with comments every minute. Expect to see a lot of exclamation points and dollar signs!
You're correct. We don't know for sure, but it sure would seem to be a logical and lucrative venture for both companies. The website shows AlarmForce's technology compared to others in a graph on that video relay site and shows itself as the only of the three in comparison to have "live two way audio built in to camera." This should be our patent if I'm not mistaken.
You're also right in saying good things should be happening from here. I'm now much more confident about our future than I probably ever have been before discovering this stock about a week ago and dumping everything into it. Big risk, big reward!
This is the vote of confidence I needed to really make me feel better about my investment. NO WAY this goes sour, they're already advertising it on their website as shown by 360Spyder1. And as you pointed out, two-way live audio from the camera is us.
Time to sit back, relax, and let the good times begin.
Good luck to you all!
GO $REVO!
Ah I'm betting it is Alarm Force. This is fine with me. Thanks for the info, guys! Makes sense.
Morale seems a bit low tonight. Maybe it's just me. My biggest fear is that the licensee is a no-name spinoff like has been suggested by the bashers. If it is, yet $900K is still received, would there be any negative implications? The whole "licensee hasn't filed an 8K to correspond with REVO" kinda bugs me. Who else could to be if it's not someone regulated by the SEC?
FYI I figured out what you meant by "100 on the bid". Just curious, how does that indicate an imminent rise in price?
Trying so hard to follow the age old advice: don't count your chickens before they hatch.
BUT... I was checking out the cost of ownership of an Aventador. Also found my dream house after a few minutes of searching at work. And I spent a good portion of my time thinking of how I'm gonna quit my job.
Is a two week notice just a courtesy? Because I'd LOVE to just do it on the spot! lol
Make it happen REVO!
If there were an NDA signed it would make sense that there would be secrecy behind the agreement. Besides, what makes you so sure that it's a sham? Source or speculation? I'd imagine you're just speculating since you forgot to include your source(s). Until you do that, anyone could brush your comment off as a sham, too.
I keep reading and rereading and three-reading the 8-K filing. I just don't see this going sour. That would be one pretty F'd up and terrible thing to do to shareholders. Especially coming right out of a development stage for the company. These patents have been worked on for years. This company has everything to gain from going forward with this in such a way as to bring in revenue for themselves and, essentially, us. If this doesn't go through for whatever reason, credibility is shot for both Carter and Ali and all the blood, sweat, and tears that went into the patents will be worthless.
From the sound of the 8-K, it seems like something imminent and inevitable. $900K isn't that much to front for a large company like whoever we're dealing with here. But it would be HUGE to the PPS and credibility of REVO in general.
Take the lid off this thing!
Can you explain what this means, please?
I just picked up some more too. I think I'm about as loaded as I can afford to be now. Tick, tick, BOOM!
This.
When I first started trading XXII, it fell quite drastically down to less than a dollar from its then recent highs ($1.80 range). They were waiting to sign a worldwide licensing agreement with a distributor. The longs were sure as shit that it would happen and everything would be fine. Guess what happened?
Agreement was signed as indicated by management.
Stock price steadily rose.
THEN...
Stock price shot through the sky and brought home over 700% gains for those hopelessly wishful, crazy longs.
Fortunately, I was one of them.
Story sound familiar?
I'm unclear. The licensee in question here is the same company that is supposedly planning to market/monetize the EyeTalk Communicator, right? And this company in question pulled $50B in revenue in their latest fiscal year? The same company that has Internet search, multiple software applications, cloud computing, etc. and is based in California?
What's our best guess as to who this is? I initially thought Google because of their recent acquisition of Nest but I'm not so sure. Anyone else guessing here?
You and I are in the same boat. It would suck to lose it all, sure, but so be it. I didn't "earn" a penny of it working my job. If it hits $.04 even a year from today, I still make more than a doctor's salary. Not too shabby for not being a doctor; let alone not having had to put in any real work to get it. Oh and taxing it as a capital gain sure would be nice. :)
Same here. Happy even if $0.03 EOY. Preferably $0.04.
Loss? I don't think he sold. It's only a loss when that happens.
So you talked to Ron today, that's awesome. I mean, if what you're saying is correct (and I don't know you but I would imagine that you're being honest here), then WTF is there to worry about? I would guess NOTHING. All smiles here. Your posts are often very reassuring.
Sure is nice to see some support at $0.009 and stay green all day. Could this be the turnaround week? Man oh man am I ready!
Run, REVO, run! Run with the bulls! Correr con los toros!
I'm so very glad to hear this. Admittedly, I took a huge chance doing what I did but you guys gave me the courage to do it. House money or not, it could have done many other things besides being transacted into this stock. But I believe this to be worth something. I've noticed that when I invest in companies that I believe in, things usually work out.
Well I'll be damned. My efforts were not in vain! Thank you!
That's what I'm saying. I'm taking that out to pay off some bills now and let the "house" money do as it pleases. I could certainly use it. Let's hope for the best. I'd be happy at two cents, anything over that would be a blessing at this point.
I started with $18K of my own money last year when I started investing. I have since bought a $3K+ MacBook Pro. I figured I'd leave my base alone. Every other dollar spent today was house money. Think I should? Not sure, I'm a bit sentimental to the last $21K for some reason. I canceled the order.
I still have $21K left to play with for when the time is right...
Well, guys, I did what I could and what I said I'd do. I went all in. Picked up 5M shares. Now it's time to sit back, relax, and let the gains begin.
1M even on one transaction and 1.6M on the other both at .01
I'm doing a lot of the buying this morning. Picked up 2.3M with 2.75M still open.
Still have $26K left, HUNGRY for more!
That's me
Go REVO!!!
Thanks for your response. I know all about missing opportunities. When I first started investing in 2010, I had no idea what I was doing but I had guts. I put everything into Apple. 100 shares at $269.90. Sold just about all of them a week or so later when some weird glitch made many stocks drop, Apple in particular hit $220 something and I freaked out and hit the PANIC SELL button. I repurchased shares a day or so later when they rocketed back up to the initial price I bought them. Out of frustration and 20 shares shorter than I was originally, I waited until I broke even and bailed - thinking I'll never invest again; it's too volatile. Oh and then they went on to hit $700+ a share. Lucky me.
Fast forward to 2013 when I had an eye on Tesla's rise. (I had bought a few shares during its IPO at $17 and sold them off in the $20 range. Wasn't much of a profit because I didn't buy that much.) This got my attention again and my interest in investing had been summoned from the dead. I messed with it and made a few hundred bucks last summer. "Cool," I thought. "This can be done." Made 50% on Facebook, then found XXII after having discovered iHub. Made a very nice return on XXII and now I'm here with a chance to blow the lid off anything I thought was even possible. It could go sour, I'm aware. But damn that reward for being so much prettier than the risk!
You're right though. Pennyland is a strange place to be. Dreams can be realized here alongside shattered hopes and despair. And it can all happen in the blink of an eye.
EDIT: I have a good feeling though, and I don't believe it to be unreasonable, that this could hit 2 cents again sometime this year. If it does, I'll be better off than not acting on it (as described) at all.
Okay so I spent tonight doing some math. Somebody pinch me. This is unreal. You're saying that if I go all in on REVO, it's gonna be worth it? And the risk minimal? Here's what I found...
If I sell off all my XXII shares (which is everything else I have in the stock market aside from 1M shares of REVO), I'll be able to purchase 7.9M more shares here (at current levels). That adds up to 8.9M shares total.
Each penny the stock goes up from here would thereby bring in an estimated $89,700+. Per penny. One cent. One little copper Lincoln. Ninety grand.
And you're saying that you would do this? Holy crap. If it's nowhere but north from here, I'm speechless. I thought about this...
Worst Case Scenario: REVO tanks. The patents are worthless. The 8K filing was BS. There are no assets. Stock plummets and company files for bankruptcy. PPS hangs around $0.001 or less and is essentially kaput.
I'm willing to part with the money, though I'd require spending about a week at a bar drinking it off. The upside is I'm getting a settlement within a week or two in the amount of my current portfolio's worth. I could just reinvest that back into something that was working for me and in a sense just start over at a higher PPS.
OR...
It goes up. Slow, fast, doesn't matter. Just up. And even if I freak out for some reason, and sell off all the shares at $0.02 - it still puts me in a much better position of where I am currently, which I could then just reinvest back into something else.
After weighing in on all this and mulling it over in my head based on what you guys are saying, what I've read about the company, and looking at examples of other companies that have shot through the sky, I think you guys are right. No brainer written all over it.
What I'm trying to do is "think this through" in the context of the forum to get feedback. I'll admit, this is the only place where I'll get the kind of feedback I need. Telling a family member or friend what I'm doing would be stupid because of course it's stupid to invest everything into a penny stock, or "common wisdom" would have you believe that anyway.
Anyhow, I'm in. All the way. Sorry, XXII. You've been good to me, very good. Good enough to put me in this position in the first place. Now let's make some money, folks.
PS - I'm open to anyone's feedback here. You guys (and gals?) have been awesome in providing it. And I can certainly take criticism as well if you wanna dish it.
F it. I'm going all in. Look for someone to buy 5M shares tomorrow. I'm sure it'll take a few transactions but I'm gonna take the chance. After all, you only live twice so you might as well live for now (because you don't know if this is your first or second time around - lol!) I sure as hell hope this doesn't tank down to $0.002 again or lower. But if it breaks a dime, I can retire. I can type up my two week notice later this month and hand it in to the President of our hospital directly. Then I'll probably scratch them a check and thank them for giving me the opportunity to setup my future. The best part? They don't like me very much.
I'd like to thank you guys on the board too for answering my questions, sharing your information about the company, and giving me that extra bit of confidence I needed to go forward with this decision. Better to make a fortune off house money than your own anyway. Nothing to lose and everything to gain. Good luck to each and every one of you. Let's do this!
GO $REVO!!!
I swear, you guys are killing me! I hold a pretty decent position in XXII that's been doing very well for me and here I am thinking about selling it all off for more REVO. If it hits, gold falls from the sky. If it doesn't, it's back to the drawing board: 8 hour shifts, administration up my arse, putting aside money to save up to invest in "the next big thing", and - worst of all - regret. We all know that regret's a MF'er. Then again, NOT doing it would be an even worse regret.
Damn you all. LOL - Decisions, decisions...
Honestly, what do you guys think the downside is here? Or hell, is there even a downside here?
Currently own: REVO (1M shares), XXII (12,950 shares)
EDIT: I will definitely be buying more shares, what I'm struggling with is just how many more to get. Trying to remember: Never marry a stock. Weighing the downsides to potential upsides.
Does anyone know of any other stocks that were in sub/penny land and went on to be worth $10? $20? I guess I just want to see some other Cindarella stories so I can wrap my brain around the potential here.
Also, what's the highest return you guys have got on other stocks? You don't need to say how much you made or what stock it was, unless you want to. I just want to know that this kind of stuff actually happens in the real world because REVO going on to be worth $1+ (as freakin' awesome as that would be) just seems out of reach to me because it's ME we're talking about. The guy who always gets in late, dreams big, and ends up short (except with XXII).
Again, I'm playing with house money and can buy a few million more shares here without having spent a dollar of my own "earned" money. I'd just hate to see it fade away into oblivion though. I know I probably sound weird with all this skepticism but this is life-changing stuff we're talking about here. I, too, want an early retirement and would love nothing more than to put in a two week notice where I work and say, "Thanks for the opportunities and experience, but I'm RETIRING (at 32)."
That being said, I have never been so excited about a stock like I am with this one. Even XXII, as wonderfully as it has performed, was over $1 when I bought it. The multi-bagger opportunity still there with it, but the multi-bagging opportunity here is insane. 3M shares here could be worth a million on good news? At $0.33? Ali saying company value is at least $0.40/share on paper? Holy crap. This could make a LOT of overnight millionaires and early retirees. And keep Lamborghini dealers busy. Maybe I'll run into you there, John420. I got dibs on the white Aventador coupe though.
I don't think I have the kind of luck that would put me in a position to make 100x on my investment, or even 50x. Hell, I'd be ECSTATIC if this stock ever hits a dime (which, for me, would be 10x). It seems, however, that all things are lined up for this to happen here in REVO land. Am I delusional? It just seems way too good to be true. But then I look at the 8-K, the assets, all the DD and excitement... and it... I dunno. It seems like it COULD happen.
I don't have much investing experience and I can't read a chart. I made half my salary on XXII (got in at $1.20) this year already and I just threw in some "house" money here to see what happens.
I'm willing to part with it but it appears that a lot of you can't seem to get enough of this one. You're selling cars, transferring funds, and pouring in what I would imagine are huge chunks of your life savings (unless you're just uber-wealthy and have millions to toss around). The excitement and anticipation is unbearable. I almost feel like taking a chance and pouring in more here if this is indeed close to the bottom. The upside is ridiculous. I hate to be a pessimist but really? 10X? 50X? 100-freaking-X? Unbelievable. If this baby flies, I could literally quit my job this month. Anyone else feel the same? Any hesitation? Or are those in the know so confident that this is just a no-brainer and you're pouring every available fund you can into this? If we're right and this flies, I would literally crap my pants on the way to the bank, smiling the whole way.
GO $REVO!!!
So I read all the DD and the felt the palpable excitement in here this morning and even picked up a few shares of my own. Now let me put this question to you: if this stock hits $1, that's over a 100X increase from its current levels. That's a 100-freakin'-bagger. Do you know how rare it is to find, let alone get in on one of those? What makes you guys feel like this is really the one? This one's gonna do it? This one's bursting at the seams? Have any of you (and I'm sure some of you may have) ever even hit a 50 bagger? 40 bagger? I mean that's INCREDIBLE. To make 40X your original investment. That's almost unheard of in investing and it most certainly is the Holy Grail investors seek. And you're saying this could be a near 200X bagger if it hits levels of $0.005? $1 does seem like a possibility for this stock, granted all the news and info surrounding it and from what's to come, but damn - you know, it's like the age old saying that I don't even need to finish but I'll start: If it sounds too good to be true...
I'm not being a pessimist here, I'm just being realistic. Maybe I got a bit overexcited with my recent profits from XXII and figured I'd throw around a little house money, which is exactly what I did. The more I think about it (unfortunately AFTER having bought my shares in REVO), the more I think how deluded I am to think that I could actually make myself an overnight millionaire with this pick. I would LOVE to be wrong, trust me. But I just think it sounds a bit crazy at this point. Maybe I'm just so used to being wrong that the feeling is coming back, knocking me off my XXII high.
Anyhow, all that being said, does anyone know when the current quarter ends for Revo? Was this the quarter they were supposed to bring in a decent revenue? I can't remember. It seems like all I've been doing this morning is deluding myself and clicking Refresh to make sure my purchases went through. I sure as hell hope they were worth it.
Hey guys! New to the board here at REVO. Stumbled upon it last night while browsing iHub and I've got to say, this seems to really be one hell of an exciting pick! I'm glad I was able to get in 500K shares this morning and now we wait. Are most of you long and investing here or looking for a 5-10x multiplier and running to the bank?
Also, I haven't had a chance to read through all the posts just yet but what's this news we're all waiting for? A large tech company licensing the product? Is this a CEO/company promise that's yet to be revealed? That would be fuggin' awesome. Thanks! GLTA!
GO REVO!
Hey guys, I also found this pick through a comment by zerotothemoon (probably the same comment) about a $50 stock being sold for 7.5 cents. Of course this piqued my interest so I headed over here to see what's going on and have been interested in this stock for over a week now, even having threw in some cash of my own to see what happens.
That being said, after reading the company's website and taking a look at some of the videos, it's hard not to be excited about this play. First off, the website is very professional-looking and I was impressed with the videos of the ChromaID scanner being used to properly identify a pinkish paint color in a YouTube video (linked on the site).
So I discovered that the ChromaID SDKs are out now and in the hands of industry people. I think this is huge! I'm hoping, like zero had said in an earlier post, that this news and the coming months really do some good things to the share price. It seems as if there could potentially be several industries that could benefit from this technology and I'm really stoked to see what people come up with after having played with the SDKs. It started making sense to me that zero could be right and that, one day, this really could be worth $50/share though I'd be happy with $5.
After having read the latest HTFTBSN for March, I see that they dumped DSNY from their list of picks (understandably so, though I think DSNY has some great things in store for the very near future and I'm still excited about them though I'm not invested... though it's tempting at $1.15/share). It was also mentioned that VSUL used to also be a pick of the newsletter but they have since dropped it in 2013 for similar reasons. But my question is, do any of you (I'm looking at you, zero!) happen to have the PDF showcasing this stock under HTFTBSN? I would love to read what they had said about it in the past. I'm not a subscriber and if by being a subscriber I can look at previous issues then I'll gladly do so.
Would love to have a discussion on this stock with others if anyone's interested. Let's get excited about it again. It seems like this is the time to do it!
GLTA and GO VSUL!
