Now that's a post I can reread....thanks. eom
Now that's an interesting hypothesis. eom
Then what you're saying is 'we got robbed.' So, who robbed us? That is the question. Is it somebody in the company that has manipulated all this to look like a decent auction? Gets things on the cheap, eh? Don't tell me that insiders within GBG didn't know who was going to butter their bread. Shareholders don't have rights. Shareholders are the bag holders....General Motors...good example. Shareholders lost everything and now the company is making billions. Shareholders? Zero.
I was banking on a rise in POG in the short term and also thinking that maybe Hollister would give investors incentive to bounce this thing. I don't know what could give this a bounce now that we have lower POG and a delay in announcements which I do not find as positive.
I think I'll have another glass of wine and lick my wounds.
Shorting the stock market (S&P 500) from here, buying options SPXU into Jan.2014. You've turned me into a pessimist, hehheh.
Doesn't even look like we'll get a dead cat bounce out of this one. I was sort of hoping but with Hollister sale looking like a bag of donkey dooky I don't think see much of a chance.
Actually, you're doing great. It's just nerve wracking. eom
If this all pans out you have to make it to the Bellagio pool party, FINster. Lepetomaine filling the sails of the ship of fools you say? It's possible. But the laughing gas is really getting thick while we wait. I haven't laughed this much since I made my last horrible investment.
I don't know why I'm laughing... let's make it 200% overvalued...I'm losing my ability to add and subtract on this one.
I took a sniff at .24 then .08 and then I started picking up 100K lots at .01 and below. Lowest .0058 average .0175. It isn't the best but it'll do-do (and maybe even be a flaming pile of poo)
I used Etrade. No block there. And speedy fills. Of course this is a huge spec stock but it really does present quite a Bellagio upside. There is something on here and I think everybody is waiting to see what it looks like when the dust settles.
The Finnster's prayers would probably get through since he doesn't have a horse in this race (that we know of) and could be objective. How that plays with God I don't know, hehheh. Are miracles objective? Don't think so...they wouldn't be called miracles. Okay, so we need one of those things.
Sort of looks to me like somebody is squeezing the turnip for the last drop of blood with this extended DIP loan. As with the crappy Hollister deal, what's there to rescue...big salaries?
I had a dream.... $1.00 GBGLF. Don't laugh just yet.
Last night (and this is without vitamin C and lysine, magnesium or flaxseed oil) I met you guys at the Bellagio. Seems there was a reason for the thunderous quiet of the past months. One of the bidders, upon doing vast amounts of DD, came across some overlooked drill cores which suggested a ponderous vein of AU, mineable in open pit. As happens, in the next three days the price starts to explode as word sizzles through the flea markets of Cape Town. None of us knows what's happening. Many sell right away, as the first half hour of trading prices zoom into the .06 7 and 8 cents arena with tens of millions of shares traded. People try to flip...no use...price just keeps exploding. Some of us lucky few don't watch it that closely and by the end of the day it is clear that something is up. We hang on and the price just keeps skidding higher until it hits a buck and the news comes out on Friday that we have a huge discovery.
Back to reality...I read the Finster's posts this morning. Where's my magnesium?
Makes sense to me. Like it a lot. This is a different animal, thank goodness. Finster, I like reading your dark side perspective because it gives me perspective but I believe that there will be a more encouraging outcome of the SA situation. Maybe a lesson in it for American shareholders? JMVHO.
So, you're talking Bellagio money there HRc60. How does Finny get 200 million? This is going to be an interesting few days indeed. The PPS is so low it almost begs to be bought. .005 would be an amazing gift if minimum bids hold out. But as Finny would say, 'what do I know?'
Best of luck to us all here. So, if they buy out the shareholders they would only have to pay .0064 per share? That's market today. I hope I don't understand this at all! Buying more today, myself. Need 1.5 cents to break even now.
That's funny. eom
.29 cents...Looks like somebody needed to show the explosive potential of INIX. Works for me - I'm sending in my financials for a fixed 30 yr on our house and this looks great on the investment side.... I'm a genius. Thanks whosoever did this for $29 bucks plus commish. (wasn't me)
Ya, I'll check on the metal building industry. That could be profitable as the economy is beginning to emerge.
Shareholders in the dark...no volume...share price slipping into mega penny land...no PR...AND Hollister selling for not enough peanuts to feed an elephant for a snack. And we boiler plate all kinds of scenarios without a lick of real info....this does not look good but I'm holding my 500k for the HUNGER GAMES parachute...do we have a sponsor? ...is there someone out there that likes us? let's keep fighting and maybe...we will meet at the cornucopia (Bellagio) and raise the banner of profitability (a glass of Dom).
Ya, me too. Well, there is still life left in there somewhere. A heartbeat ...
Go, Benhope, you can do it.
Interesting little thing going on today. Don't know if it means a thing but did notice it by accident. PPS hit .10
If there is a cent or two left over for the share-suckers how do we get it? Will it be in the share price, awarded per share as a dividend...what?
positive or negative...it's not right that shareholders are left dangling in a news blackout. We should be kept up to date...what? the share price will go to zero if we know? Funny how shareholder value is so important when they are feeding us the BULL...but when the patty hits the fan they are nowhere to be found.
More like an orchestrated, gradual, everyday volume, keeping the PPS propped up, gauging buyers demand carefully. No panic...and that might be intentional? Maybe we will see some fireworks next week as we draw closer to revelations?
But don't you think a company like this with so many millions of shares out would have tens of millions in volume everyday? This has always seemed a bit strange to me...the low volume.
Finbar
I wish I had picked my nose after touching those peppers but instead I wiped my rear. That'll teach me. Let's try this one again...if the price goes back down to .006 and below. Enjoy your exposition
Gold down again today. Friday may just be ripe for some low hanging cheap shares? I'm ready for some picking. Best to all.
Well, a another good question is why are we (shareholders) sitting on the outside playing with ourselves with no news of any kind? Answer...we are out in the cold from the very beginning and this was well known. But doesn't Ron own a bundle of these shares?
hahaha, love it. Well, looks like I'm drinkin' the yellow Kool-Aid. wow eom
Wow, cheapies is right. Snapped up another 200K at .0062, my lowest price yet. Thanks to whomever sold those in one very nice clean block. BAM. If it goes lower I could snap up a few more. Been sitting down here with my buy order waiting to see if the price would drop down and pick me up.
Exactly...And I would add - this silence betokens and it ain't positive either. Scrub job on our ass-ets I'm afraid. Don't know who the bandits are but they are making out like bandits none-the-less.
So, it can still be rejected (the bid for Hollister) right? eom
ROTFLMAO...that was very creative and hilarious. Nice to have a good belly laugh out of this at the end of the day...sipping the koolaid.
OMG, good point all round but no bingo to the bank. AMEN. eom
"I guess I'll have a swig." (passes bottle)
We've been stewing over our value and they've not even thought one penny's worth about our ass-ets. All the speculation in the world isn't going to turn this lead into gold...of course, the volume still isn't giving a hint as to the trend this might ultimately be headed.
AMEN. eom
Yes, I agree with you. There is something odd about the market volume and news out. And maybe it takes a day or two for people to read the mumbo jumbo and make heads or tails of it all. I tend to think this Hollister is a wash and Burnstone will determine our fate. And it's possible that Hollister will revert back to us as the offer is rejected. It's what I'm hoping.
In all of this I find it a bit disconcerting that the company has not issued a PR to let its valued shareholders in on the significance of this. That we have been in the dark for so long does not bode well for us, IMVHO. We are not on the radar.
They'll re-org as needed to make it profitable IMO. New management = a chance at profitability.
