Crazy times we live in.
Another wheat price story
It does seem that when the media is all over it that the run is over, at least fore now. We had a fake rice shortage a couple of years ago and it turned out to be a fake crisis in that people were buying Costco our of the 50 pound bags because if the fear created from the stories.
That said, the over all food shortage story in the future continues to grow. We will have many more rice and wheat bubbles, and the wheat story may come back again soon.
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/wheat-crop-scare-rattles-global-nerves-2010-08-20
All we need now is more stroies about the top soil being blown away, being ruined by GM seeds, etc. and ground water disappearing faster than thought and the "Big picture" of the food crisis will be more exposed. I am still in DBA and hope for a 52 week breakout soon.
23% more rough rice to mill in the USA
So, my speculation is that when Short said that LA #2 could be back in operation before we exit BK at the end of the year is that it will be 23% bigger harvest to stabilize and maybe a longer milling season---A possible plus for NTRZ.

My Rhinoman story-------------
About 4 years ago Rhinoman got me into a gold stock, MGMX.pk at .0007. It's long since gone. I bought 900,000 shares of it for $630 plus the Schwab $39 fee since it was under .001 I held it two two months and it went to .0002 and I mentally wrote it off. A little later it went to .0014 and I managed to sell it for .001 and a 35% net profit for two months. Not bad!! Rhino has a nose for the little guys and I understand they all don't work out. Good story bullwinkle.
Housing riots today, food riots tomorrow.
Note that the doughnut is made from Defatted Oil Bran, DOB. That is the left over's from the oil process. I was told that it was not economical to ship it to the USA from Brazil, too much freight. So, maybe an oil plant will be in the USA. Short said when we got Lake Charles back that the plant could come on line before we exit BK. In the oil making process, the bran is stabilized first thing. So, the warehouse at LA # 2 could store stage 1 and ship it to another oil plant, such as the Riceland plant in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
Just possibilities, there is no evidence of a signed agreement.

Would be nice if Z got some of the 22 billion
SHANGHAI (AP) -- The Agricultural Bank of China says it raised a world record $22.1 billion in its initial public offering last month, despite a tepid reception from investors, after exercising an overallotment option for its Shanghai share sale.
The bank, China's main rural lender, sold an additional 3.34 billion shares at the IPO price of 2.68 yuan ($0.39) per share as part of the overallotment, as expected, according to a notice Monday on the Web site of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The extra 8.94 billion yuan ($1.3 billion) raised pushed the dual Hong Kong-Shanghai IPO to $22.1 billion in total, surpassing the previous record set by the Industrial & Commercial Bank of China's $21.9 billion IPO in 2006.
Despite strong government backing for the IPO, the last by China's four biggest state-owned commercial banks, investors leery of the rural-oriented balance sheet and the market's overall outlook have shown lackluster interest in the shares.
In Hong Kong, whose market is open to foreign investors, the bank's shares rose a mere 2.2 percent on their July 16 debut, compared with double-digit gains in past years for high-profile IPOs. In Shanghai, where yuan-denominated shares are sold only to domestic buyers, the shares rose just 1 percent on their debut.
By midday Monday, the lender's shares were up 0.7 percent, at 2.71 yuan in Shanghai and down 1.5 percent, at 3.34 Hong Kong dollars a share, in Hong Kong.

The clue is at the end the APFI symbol is there. NTRZ is getting press in the Asia Pacific Food Industry magazine. The clue is that NTRZ is getting promoted more in Asia than in the USA, yet we have no plants there. Asia is the rice bed of the World and this advertising there points to NTRZ being there after we get through this BK junk. I hope that helps xrymd.
Short has said three times, The plan of reorganization will be come in affect on November 30th and we will exit BK by the end of the year. Well, that is getting closer. We go before the judge to get the class action lawsuit approved October 1st and before another judge on October 19th. It's clear sailing from there, if those two major points are approved.

thinkingStone---------------------
I am just showing a company that compares with NTRZ in that it was in BK and had a foreign subsidiary not in the BK. As SSCC worked out the shareholders lost their shares, but got new ones.
I DO NOT THINK THIS WILL HAPPEN TO NTRZ. I guess the purpose of my post was to help the nervous nellies who think they may lose their shares. With Short, Leo, Belt, and Kody getting extended contracts and all those options, the SSCC scenario is moot and Short told us 3 times now in so many words, 1. We won't lose our shares, 2. The final reorg plan will take affect Nov. 30th, and we will exit BK by the end of the year.
Once again, I just posted the SSCC bit as a point of interest.
More about the SSCC BK story and comparisons.
OK--anybody tell me if my math is wrong.
I found that SSECQ had 258,000,000 diluted shares in June 2009. Then when the old shares were canceled, SSCC issued 250,000,000 shares at $25. The canceled shareholders got 2,250,000 of the new shares or .009 % of the new stock or a total value of $56,250,000. Creditors got 40% of the new stock. That equals 21.8 cents for the canceled shares which is about exactly what the stock closed for on it's last day of trading.
So, if we lost our shares, what price could Short issue new shares for on Irgovel and Herbal Science. It is too complicated to compare SSCC and NTRZ. SSCC was much much much worse off than NTRZ. And, they did not have an artificial high like Z did at $5 when Brad was screwing with the figures. I could take the BK low of SSCC of .02 and the cancellation day price of .21 and compare that to Z's low close of .05 and get at .525 stock, but as I said, comparisons are really tough with only one example.
I feel this was one of my best finds. It compares with Z in that a foreign division was not included in the BK.
My whole point is that I think we have less a worry of losing all our stock value, even if the current stock is canceled. So, the worst case scenario is less.
If my math is wrong, please correct me.
Lose our shares and this be our future?
SSCCQ.pk had their shares canceled. But, that was the USA subsidiary. It had a Canadian subsidiary that was not part of the BK. The stock was as low as .02 and I must assume it ended at .21 because that was the final close of SSCCQ before it merged with SSCE(The Canadian division). That is a far cry for the $6.00 pre BK price and the .99 price a few months after the BK. I could be off on the price at the last close because I don't know how many shares SSCCQ had. Canceled shareholders got 2,250,000 of the 100,000,000 shares of the new issue common. I got to guess .21 is correct.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=SSCCQ.PK+Basic+Chart&t=5y
http://biz.yahoo.com/e/100622/ssccq.pk8-k.html
This compares in that NTRZ has the Brazil oil and Herbal Science divisions as NOT part of the BK.
I believe it possible that if we lose our shares, we will NOT really lose our shares because of Brazil and HS.
New stock>>>
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=SSCC&p=D&yr=0&mn=6&dy=0&id=p36544634639
So, even if we lose our BK shares, we might be a legit part of a new company.
But, by the looks of the new months gnus put up on the VTLV site, we may not be even close to losing our shares.

GM seeds could cause certain farmlands to be blacklisted.
This would really hurt the world's food supply if maybe 20% of all farmland was shut down from effects of GM seeds. From my previous posts a couple of excerpts>>>
If new evidence of genetically-modified soil bacteria contamination arises, what is highly possible given the numerous (1600 or more) distinct microorganisms we classify in just a teaspoon of soil, and if that contamination is not remediable but remains permanent – someday the public may blacklist precisely those farms that have once planted genetically-modified crops. No one seems to have put up any warning signs when selling these inputs to farmers who own 1/4 of all agricultural tracks in the US. Furthermore, the spreading potential impact on all ecosystems is profound.
Case in point>>>>
For example, a farmer in Ottawa Tony Huether planted three different kinds of genetically-modified canola seeds that came from the three leading producers (Monsanto’s Roundup, Cyanamid’s Pursuit, and Aventis’ Liberty). At first, he was happy to see he needed to use less of costly herbicides. But within just three years, “superweeds” among canola plants had taken in the genes of all three types of those plants! This ultimately forced him to use not only more herbicides, but far more lethal products. There have been similar experiences in the UK.
Proof of harm from GM seeds.
DewDillgence, you are mostly right. Most GM seeds have not been proven harmful. I love seedless grapes and oranges, but they have been around for years. But, the few that have been proven harmful plus the lack of long term studies should scare the heck out of anybody. The big companies that rule the whole world like Monsanto, Dow and their friends like the big banks, all of them control the world's political system with their campaign donations and control of the liberal media, and even Fox, IMO. Read the following article and keep in mind that in 1 seed in 100 is harmful it is a potential disaster for millions.

Russia's wheat crop failure due to GM seeds?
There is talk that genetically modified seeds can cause wheat rust and other problems. After so many years of artificial fertilizers vs organic farming techniques the soil is so depleted of the vitality sustaining minerals and micro-organisms that things like wheat rust can opportunistically become a very serious problem.
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-07-29/russia-s-wheat-crop-falls-to-24-6-million-tons-on-drought-ministry-says.html

The problem with GM seeds is that long term testing for unintended consequences has not been preformed. Who knows what plant diseases like wheat rust and what human diseases these genetically modified seeds, fertilizers, weed and insect control chemicals are doing to the Earth. Global Warming is NOT a problem compared to what Monsanto, Dow and others are doing to our soil.

Big news when??????????????????
By the way, unfortunately Short has never given an indication that we will get any nice PR's before we exit BK. He has repeatedly said that he will add shareholder value after we exit BK. The only thigs he said that might be a nice PR soon is that LA #2 might reopen before we exit BK.
However, he was sure in a hurry to get his and Leo's contracts increased and extended and everybody's .20 options vested. If NOTHING was coming, why would he put out those obnoxious contract extensions, pay increases and options on July 7th before the UCC and class action suit are finalized. Two possible reasons. First he thinks the stock will be higher before the UCC and Class Action are approved. Of course, he might just want to make sure they are vested just in case the stock goes up unexpectedly, but still, why risk the UCC or Class Action suit being denied because of those anti-shareholder money giveaways to management?
I do hope a major announcement comes soon. This waiting is painful. I believe that the owners of a company have a right to know something.
By the way bikeguy. That October 1st meeting might be interesting. I hope you go and give us a report.

The UCC creditors would not settle for liens on buildings NTRZ can't seem to sell now. They want their cash and they want it soon. Whatever CJ(head of the UCC) knows will bring them cash by the end of this year. And our stock should be much higher on the announcement.
And then there is rice bran oil that may be an entirely different deal. Short said that LA # 2 could be up and running before we exit BK. Could that bran be stabilized and shipped to a Riceland oil plant over 120 miles away? They need warehouse space too as well legal filings said. For what? I hope the BK mailings are over-buying opportunity??? 1 minute ago
The day the UCC motion was sent to shareholders with US BK Court on it, the stock tanked a bit. Yesterday was the first full trading day of the Class Action mailing and we tanked. We all know both are positive since progress is being made, buy many casual shareholders don't.
I hope that is the reason the stock fell yesterday.
Keep in mind that on Friday 3 minutes from the close the stock was at .095. Two less than 10,000 share trades sent it to .10 and then .103 the last three minutes. So, we closed at the same level yesterday.
Also, there is an up trending support line connecting the bottoms from November 2009 to Dec 09 to May 2010 to now. And that sits at .08 now, yesterdays low. I hope it holds, but market makers like to violate those lines sometimes to shake out the weak right before a move up.

A big partner, not a Buyout? New BOD :)))hehehe
I posted this past week about Short maybe selling the company. After discussions with others and thought I now lean to a big partner like JBS, who became a 64% partner for bankrupt Pilgrims Pride.
First, Cadigan is a long term friend of Short's. If NTRZ was to be sold soon, he would still be here getting an extended contract with those 2,500,000 options Belt got. Short owes nothing to Belt from the past.
Second, Xybrfuture put the thought in my head that the contract extensions of Short and Leo might be to protect them from a 64% owner. JBS owns 64% of PPC now and they probably got their own BOD members now who can fire management. Getting rid of our BOD would be cause for a shareholders Vegas party, WOO HOO. A 64% owner and Short may have negotiated those contracts and they are not all Short's doing.
Next, I feel Short and at least 4 others, Eggenberger, Sanders, Henk and Kody, being at the IFT show does not foretell the company being sold soon. The IFT is like a national convention of all the food companies. It is an "In" thing to be at and by far the biggest in the USA. SHORT IS PROUD OF WHAT HE IS DOING or he would not have been there all 3 days. If he was about to sell the company outright cheaply to somebody it would be admitting failure. No, Short wanted to be seen. He is excited. Many of the companies Z deals with were there and Short was paying them respect as well, not for the past, but for the future.
There is a possible parallel forming of JBS buying 64% of Pilgrims Pride and NTRZ. PPC long before exiting BK announced that JBS was buying 64% of PPC. Then the reorganization plan came out later and 5 weeks after the reorg plan was official, PPC exited BK and the JBS deal became official the same day. So, we don't have a partnership deal announced yet, but the other two pieces are there. First the reorg plan will become in play at the end of November and we will exit BX by the end of the year, about 5 weeks later. And remember, Short got the 2 months extension of WFC money in the DIP financing from early November to the end of the year.
I am probably wrong about this, but the pieces fit better than my buyout thoughts. I know some seemed a bit dejected at my buyout thoughts. I hope you feel better.
By the way, a 51% or bigger partner would give NTRZ ALL THE MONEY they would even need for expansion. I just hope it goes at a good price if it happens. NTRZ could get stabilized oil plants in many countries almost immediately. And keep in mind new CT agreements are in place and they were extruder related in the past.
