Thanks for the independent verification. Some people may think I'm exaggerating, but that home, not very far from the Verrazano bridge, would currently cost more to buy than Dussault Apparel Inc. (and that's after the recent declines in the value of real estate across the country). With the publicity we are currently getting via Jason and Mashiah, how can we not expect the DUSS stock price to move up from the current level. Go DUSS. GLTA
To anyone who feels Dussault Apparel Inc. is currently fairly valued, I again ask the following question:
Isn't our company worth more than this property below? At the current stock price, you could own Dussault Apparel Inc. outright, or this home in Brooklyn, NY (asking price for the home is about $980k). Don't get me wrong. It seems like a lovely residence. All of 2100 sq ft of home on .09 acres (about 40x100). There's even a nice tree next to the house. I know that it seems like a ridiculous comparison, but I'm trying to demonstrate just how cheap the current valuation of DUSS really is. DUSS will go much higher than one cent when it starts to move. Paperny Entertainment Facebook Indicators
I was just viewing the home page of Paperny Entertainment http://www.papernyfilms.com/ , and the tv properties they represent. Of all the shows displayed on their home page, 'Dussault Inc.' currently has the most facebook 'likes'. While only a small percentage of tv show fans actually take the time to go to the show's facebook page and click on 'like', that count can still be useful for comparative purposes. Here's the current tally, as represented on Paperny Entertainment's home page:
Dussault Inc. (7k likes)
East St. (2k likes)
Dust Up (2k likes)
Glutton for Punishment (499 likes)
Consumed (485 likes)
Jetstream (5 likes)
Based upon the info above, it would stand to reason that the focus of Paperny Entertainment's recently announced New York office may be on getting Dussault Inc. on a US tv network. Go DUSS. GLTA
$120 million: That's what high visibility from a reality tv show can be worth.
'Beam Global Spirits & Wine, the premium spirits business of Fortune Brands (NYSE:FO), today announced it has acquired the Skinnygirl® spirits brand, created by renowned natural foods chef, reality TV star and entrepreneur, Bethenny Frankel. The brand’s flagship product, Skinnygirl Margarita™, the spirits industry’s fastest growing ready-to-drink (RTD) product in the U.S., is the all-natural, low-calorie “margarita you can trust.” ' was reported on March 21, 2011. Bethenny Frankel was relatively unknown until she appeared on the reality shows 'The Apprentice', and 'The Real Housewives of NYC'. Her SkinnyGirl brand beverages were featured on an episode of 'The Real Housewives of NYC', and the rest is history. She reportedly sold the SkinnyGirl liquor brand for $120 million dollars. That's what reality tv show exposure can do for a product or brand. Jason Dussault and Mashiah Vaughn understand this, and will, in my opinion, make money for the DUSS shareholders. Go DUSS. GLTA

Regarding Gene's involvement with the above company (from April '11):
"Rock Legend Gene Simmons Endorses and Partners with Ortsbo.
Intertainment Media Inc. has announced that its social media, real time, language translation platform Ortsbo has been endorsed by international rock legend, accomplished global entrepreneur and one of the world’s most recognized personalities, Gene Simmons, who has signed on as a business partner and to serve as Ortsbo’s official spokesperson."
The A&E network must believe in Gene Simmons big time. They have been airing old 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels' episodes for several hours already today. They keep promoting the fact that there are two all-new hours of 'Family Jewels, The Wedding Episodes' tonight beginning at 9pm, and that the actual Wedding will air on Oct 18th. Gene has had prior dealings with Jason Dussault (on the MoneyBags branded line, and other items), he's a good friend of Jason Dussault, and a great businessman who knows opportunity when he sees it. He is well aware that Jason is shopping around 'Dussault Inc." in the USA, through Paperny Films. Another penny stock that Gene Simmons got involved with (ITMT*) is currently worth more than $80 million, even though there does not seem to be any financial data available on that company. The valuation must have something to do with the star power association. I see bright things in Dussault Apparel Inc.'s future. Go DUSS. GLTA
Speaking of hair, did you know that Bethenny Frankel (who has pretty solid hair) sold her SkinnyGirl spirits brand for a reported $120 million, after having debuted it on her reality tv show 'The Real Housewives of NYC', and leveraging that momentum to build a strong brand. If Gene Simmons is offered to be involved w/ DUSS, and agrees, here's what may occur, as it did with another penny stock company recently. When Gene Simmons got involved with Intertainment Media Inc. (ITMT*), of Toronto, the stock really started to move. Here's an exerpt from an article on April 19, 2011. "Gene Simmons, founder of the rock band KISS, has given shares of Intertainment Media Inc. (INT-X0.350.0724.56%) a shot in the arm after becoming a pitchman for the Toronto-based firm’s social media and translation website."
So even after that stock has pulled back substantially from the level reached in April 2011, Intertainment is currently valued at around $80 million (due, in part, to Gene Simmon's star power). I was unable to obtain any revenue or earnings data, so it appears the market cap may be based purely on speculation. If DUSS was valued at one tenth of that current market cap, our stock would be up more than 800% from the current level. And if we got really lucky and our stock was (even temporarily) valued at the current market cap of ITMT*, DUSS would be up 8000% from the current level. I don't expect gains like that, but you never know. After all, DUSS (and those involved with the company - Jason and Mashiah) currently have many exciting things going on. I've not seen anything to indicate that Gene Simmons will be directly involved with Dussault Apparel Inc. (DUSS), as he has done with Intertainment Media. But he is a brilliant businessman, and if he chooses to so, it could cause DUSS stock to pop. Let's not forget that Jason Dussault just attended the Gene Simmons/Shannon Tweed wedding last week, and that Jason Dussault has been involved with Gene on Gene's Money Bag branded product line. Go DUSS. GLTA
Not so fast. You are correct that there's been no announcement that Gene Simmons is involved in some way. That is different than stating, with certainty, that he is not involved. Jason Dussault and Gene have worked together in the past, on branded apparel, Gene Simmons has a current hit reality tv show on A&E, and Jason and Mashiah have just attended Gene's wedding. We also know that Paperny is shopping around Dussault Inc. in the US. Does not seem a far stretch that they may use Gene to make this happen, as he is a very valuable contact, a good friend, and a brilliant businessman. GO DUSS. GLTA
There's another 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels' marathon today beginning at 3pm on the A&E channel, leading up to a new wedding episode tonight. Since the Family Jewels afternoon episodes are reruns, it's possible one of them may show when Jason Dussault was working together with Gene on the MoneyBags merchandise. Any USA tv exposure for JD is good exposure, right? Go DUSS. GLTA

Worth $120 million after having debuted on reality show. What reality tv exposure can do for a company, or brand, is nothing short of amazing. Time article titled 'Self Sells: Bethenny Frankel's Triumph' dated May 9, 2011:
"Vulgar, vulnerable, wise and neurotic, Bethenny Frankel, Bravo's last-minute addition to its blockbuster series The Real Housewives of New York City, was a poor man's Housewife from the first. Not a wife (single Frankel was expanding her catering business) nor a homeowner (she rented her Upper East Side one-bedroom), she weathered patronizing barbs from older, wealthier castmates for these and other deficiencies with a captivating mix of insouciance and insecurity.
Ah, how the Juvederm has turned. Now, while former castmates struggle to comfort themselves on camera with a smidgen of dignity, Frankel is a cottage industry. Her Skinnygirl Margarita drink, which debuted on The Real Housewives of New York City, was just sold to a distributor for $120 million. Her Skinnygirl diet-advice books are New York Times best sellers. She's expanding into lingerie, skin care and self-help books (see her latest, A Place of Yes, in stores near you). She has some 567,000 followers on Facebook and half a million on Twitter. And every step of her rise — especially the eleventh-hour arrival of a Mr. Right, Jason Hoppy, and their unplanned baby girl, Bryn — has been chronicled on two solo spin-offs on Bravo, Bethenny Getting Married? and Bethenny Ever After."
Imagine if you could have bought some shares in Bethenny Frankel's Skinnygirl brand for a penny or less, before it became a dominant brand. Go DUSS. GLTA

Paris Hilton's reality TV show, 'The Simple Life', wasn't even showcasing any Paris Hilton products, or a Paris Hilton company, but that did not stop her from leveraging the fame resulting from that reality TV show into a Paris Hilton empire, reportedly worth an estimated $45 million dollars. While you could not purchase stock in her Paris Hilton enterprise (and participate in that huge upside), you can purchase DUSS (at under one penny). I know the phrase, 'No Brainer' is used way too often, but if there were ever a time where that term was applicable, this is it (in my opinion). Go DUSS. GLTA
The talk of the Dussault family being close to landing a U.S. TV distribution deal for Dussault Inc. reminds me of the financial impact that reality tv exposure had on Paris Hilton. She became a household name in 2003, with her appearances on the hit reality show, “The Simple Life”, with Nicole Richie. It's been reported that Paris has an estimated net worth of $45 million dollars. Although she may have eventually reached that level of success without the weekly exposure originally provided by that reality tv show, the show definitely helped to accelerate that success. As a big fan of reality tv, I really enjoyed watching her and Nicole Richie on their adventures. As a number of others have mentioned on this board, we simply need Dussault Inc. to be picked up by and aired on a US tv network, where the viewing audience is exponentially greater than that of Canada and New Zealand. With Paperny's newly announced New York office, Jason Dussault's celebrity connections, and the insatiable desire for reality tv in the US, I would expect few hurdles for the show to be picked up here. Should that be officially announced, I would expect a very positive reaction from the investing public. Go DUSS. GLTA
Estimated advertising/marketing value of airing the remaining season 1 episodes of Dussault Inc. Here's my attempt at computing a reasonable value for this unique promotional opportunity we have landed. One 30 second spot aired during the last superbowl, according to Reuters, was about $3 million dollars. It is estimated that about 100 million people viewed the 2011 superbowl. If we value a 30 second spot during prime-time on CityTv at 100th of that value (with an estimated viewing audience of around 1 million) , a 30 second spot would be valued at around $30k. There are about 8 minutes of commercials during a half-hour television program, which would allow for 16 30-second commercials. So the estimate total value of all commercials during a prime-time half-hour show would be about $480k. I would expect that since the show content of Dussault Inc. would be about 22 minutes, that would be worth as much as the value of the commercials during the show. So each episode has an estimated promo value of about $480k, and there's 13 episodes remaining this season. That's about $6.7 million worth of exposure for Dussault Apparel Inc. The current market cap of Dussault Apparel Inc. is around $1 million. So without including any value for the possibility of being picked up by a U.S. tv network (and Mashiah has now tweeted that negotiations are in progress for this), DUSS currently has what I estimate to be an asset worth more than 6 times as much as the total price (market cap) of the company. I welcome other computations from other board members. This is merely my rough computational guess. Now I don't know about you, but if someone was offering to sell me a house for $1 million, and there was $6.2 million worth of gold in the house included in the deal, I think I would jump at the opportunity. Go DUSS. GLTA

Not only did Jason Dussault, CEO of Dussault Apparel Inc (DUSS), attend Gene Simmons Wedding this past Saturday (Oct 1), but they have been good friends for several years. Here's what Jason said about Gene back in '08:
"I have always looked up to Gene as a role model. My teenage dreams became a reality when I got to meet the man himself and we hit it off, the result being the MoneyBag label which we launched in May 2007. After working with him for the last 18 months I have established a very close friendship and working relationship with him. My respect and admiration has goes up each time I am with him. I am very excited about the MoneyBag line and the multiple directions we can take it."
and here's what Gene Simmons said (in '08) about his friend, Jason Dussault:
“It has to do with finding a kindred spirit. And, Jason is it. He and I share a passion for only doing things in life that mean something. Together we are creating cutting edge, in-your-face fashions that were launched in the US at the Dussault Melrose store opening in November and Gene Simmons Family Jewels was there for the party.”
A bit of info about Jason Dussault's friend Gene Simmons:
"GENE SIMMONS co-founded KISS 38 years ago. It continues to be the Juggernaut of licensing and merchandising and has just come off of the 5x Platinum selling KISSOLOGY DVD Box Set, which debuted at #1, and the 3x Platinum KISS ALIVE I, II, III, IV box set. Among other activities: KISS COMICS GROUP joint venture, the SIMMONS COMICS GROUP joint venture, SIMMONS ABRAMSON MARKETING (which does worldwide branding/marketing for the INDY RACING LEAGUE), the TV series GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS, and the cartoon MY DAD THE ROCK STAR on Nickelodeon. Simmons is a Venture Capital advisor, Real Estate developer and the man with the most prodigious tongue on the planet."
Since they're still good friends, and Gene currently has the hit reality tv show 'Family Jewels' airing in the US, I wouldn't be surprised if Gene helps Jason on his current quest to shop around 'Dussault Inc.' in the US. If a tv deal is landed, that would expand the show's reach to another 300 million potential viewers. Go Duss. GLTA
