And don't forget, that once PrintRite3d is Up and Running
You still most likely will need
Software maintenance and upgrades
Help Desk
Installation team
Training and Travel
And of course benefits
I know, I used to be Project Leader for a particular application program that the US Navy used in New Ship Construction. I had all the above.
Oh and don't forget someone to write the User Guide.
We all need one sooner or later.
look like the slow death walk back to .06
No one is buying to hold for long term
so just short it down a few shares at a time.
Thank you for the links.
Now that I know that Printrite3D is a software application package for 3D printers, I am curious as to how big is this 3D Metal "Software Application" market? Who are SGLB competitors?
As someone who use to work in IT and in DOD Procurement, I have listen to many a sale pitches from Salesmen pushing their Software Application Packages. And I know that being "chosen" or "not being chosen" for a contract as the application of choice can make or break a company.
Just remember (if you are old enough that is) back when it was MS Word vs Word Perfect or the old the Wang system vs a PC or Dell vs Gateway or iPad vs all tablets. Who won? If you are the "chosen one," then you will prosper, at least in the beginning and the rest will just fade away.
The question is, Will SGLB be the "chosen one" that makes it?
So, all I hope for now with SGLB is that I can get a double in pps from here and sell half (or set a stop limit) and hope that it is the "chosen one."
I did buy 5K more today.
I never realized how big the 3D Printing Industry really is in the world.
So how does SGLB get a market share in all the 3D metal printers or is it going to be just basically contract driven?
Wow, nice close also. .10 as I type!
Thanks..
I guess that is why they say "Know what you are investing in!"
Then I guess I better learn some more about Additive Manufacturing.
To those who might know..
Let say that SGLB get their metal 3D printer to work.
Since, as i read, SGLB only has only 8 full time employees and a few part timers, they are mainly engineers type and one accountant and two are over 69 y/o.
How are they going to produce and sell their 3D printer.
They would basically need a Big up front contract or a partner to start any meaningful production without straining the current employees.
So, would SGLB basically be a buyout candidate for some bigger 3D company?
Sure held this one too long.
Back in the red.

Look like it is in for a long walk down until next qrtly report.
Just a matter of how low it will go?
Back to .06????
.095
Look like I got in at the right time yesterday.
Now I wished I had bought more!
Lets see how today ends
or that may be to late to get in below .10
Woo..Qfabulous
for a minute there you made me wonder if I over paid by $360
Had to go back to my calculator to double check.
Guess my accounting degree did pay off
That article/website got me here too!
Have been interested in 3D printers for a few years
but it never occurred to me back then to invest in them.
That sure look like an over site on me!
So, I finally jumped in on ONVO just after they got listed.
That sure has been one hell of a ride.
So, I saw this dprintingstocks.com website
read about SGLB
did some reading
know that a metal 3d printer would be a Big break trough
so I said took a chance and hell at 08 pps, not much to lose on 5K shares.
Now what about Voxeljet???
How can this stock be played like YoYo everyday???
Sure hope they can give some REAL news that can propel pps and keep it up!!!!
These 8k with no substance just don't get it.
Form 8-K for ORGANOVO HOLDINGS, INC.
19-Sep-2013
Other Events
Item 8.01 Other Events
Organovo Holdings, Inc. has entered into an agreement with Hoffmann La Roche exploring the use of 3D liver tissue in toxicology. Terms have not been disclosed.
I went through the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine website in hope to find any mention of Organovo or any pictures of them using their printer. I didn't find anything.
But they have done a lots of stuff with various printers and they say "Our scientists have also developed a one-of-a-kind 3-D printer to produce organ and tissue prototypes."
Now in the 10K it says "We believe that the use of our bioprinting platform by major research institutions will increase the understanding of the technological and research value of the platform, ultimately creating future opportunities for intellectual property licensing."
Now, I am not saying that there is any connection between Wake Forest 3D printer or Organovo 3D printer, but it does make me wonder how Organovo will be able to claim ownership of this "intellectual property" if a university does discover something similar.
It is kind of like which came first, the chicken or the egg? In this case it would be which came first: the Organovo 3D printer or the "one-of-a-kind 3-D printer?"
Just some musing....
It is not going anywhere until they announce 3rd qtr results
and it shows that, indeed, it can produce "real and ongoing" revenue.
Hype is one thing, but money in the bank is something else.
They better Open House fast
The pps is tanking

Look like ONVO is going to be held down for awhile by the
Shorts
They really need some positive news of REVENUE that will move them forward.
it was Suze Orman trying to get ahead of the market tomorrow!
I had some on margin that I just bought yesterday at 5.25.
Thought for sure we would see a bounce today
Got stopped out at 5.02.
I think they WILL run it back to 4.50
It just seems to easy to do!!!!
Dam, there goes my gains.
Held too long!
Hope this thing isn't going back down to the 6's like the last time.
There seems to be PLENTY of shares everyday
for them to work through and walk it down.
I imagine there are plenty of stop limits set below $5
How else can they drop it so FAST everyday??
I wish it wasn't trading
it is getting slaughtered!!!
Could this go back to 4.50????
look like some one has a lid on the pps and no pop to 6 anytime soon.
Interest in ONVO seemed to have died.
Lets hope that they can draw some positive attention from the webcast!
could be this?
OCZ Technology signs Tech Data deal
Amazing!
Just like clock work
Take it down back into the 5.50's
Back to 6 by mid week
then repeat!
Something to remember next week
ONVO has finished the week off at around 5.50 for the last 4 weeks.
So look like a trading range
Buy around 5.50
sell at 6
repeat weekly
Weekly chart for Aug
Bummer...
I had a feeling that it would go back to its 5 day low in the 5.50's.
But jumped the gun at 5.75
Should have listen to my gut feeling
Onvo just may be caught up in this headline
3-D hype may be outpacing reality, WSJ says
but I snag some shares at 5.7599
Hope for a bounce back into the 6's
But that look like it might not happen today
really being held down
I wasn't trying to dissuade anyone from holding ONVO.
I said that I own and still own ONVO.
I was just trying to make the difference between "apple and oranges."
Yes ONVO is a 3D printer, but it is in a different market than other 3D printers. That was my only point.
Now since Doglover sold at 6.05, he can now buy back at 5.76 and have a little gain for the day. Sure better than me who is in the red!
I wasn't trying to underestimate the market potential for ONVO
I was just saying that, right now, it is a "specialized" market
when compared to other 3D printers which have more broader uses.
ONVO growth rate may not be as fast as other consumer orientated 3D printers. So, the pps may not reflect the fast run up as has been seen by other 3D printer stocks.
I have a friend who works for Johnson&Johnson Vistakon division.
He uses a 3D printer everyday to print out his research models for possible product development.
Heck, if I had the money to waste, I would buy a 3D printer.
Anyway, I do own ONVO and will hold for possible gains
but they do need to find a lasting revenue source to survive.
There are other bioprinters out there playing for the same market share.
GLTA
First you have to look at the 3D printer market
All the other 3D printers can makes many different types of useful consumable goods.
Now you can now buy a 3D printers for home use from Staples.
You can take it home and start printing stuff.
Do you think that an Organovo printer will be widely available and something that you can buy and take home?
So, that leads to: How big is Organovo market?
Is it ONLY a niche market: medical research?
How long is it going to take them to build a real markets
share that can produce a sustainable revenue?
I think that they would have to produce something more than liver tissue?
So this is kind of why you can't compare ONVO to other 3D printers companies.
Just my opinion during halftime break from the NFL game.
Maybe there is really nothing to PR about, at the moment.
From looking at the MJF site, there are many Research Tools made available for researcher to use. So maybe ONVO is just offering another "tool" to be used if anybody wants a 3D printer living test matter.
If these prove to be useful, then ONVO can look down the road for any potential sales that might occur. But first they have to prove that these are useful TOOLS!
Just my thoughts...
Averaging up is OK
as long as the shareprice keeps going up.
Unless, you think the shareprice is going back down to 4.60
then what choice do you have but to average up???
Crap..
Chart
Should have listen to the CCI as it broke back down through 100.
Was hoping that the 20 dma would pass through the 50 DMA and give a boost up.
How low this time??
Doesn't look like it.
Just amazing how they can control the pps.
Walk it slowly up 10 cent
Run it down fast 10 cents
over and over again.
I don't think any 3D company is going to have the edge over another 3d company anytime soon. What it will come down to, in the beginning, is for each 3d Bioprinting company to find their "niche market."
Each is going to have to specialize in that one product that they can do well and do well with every 3d printout over and over again.
One company may do 3D livers, one may do 3D breast replacements, one may do 3D joint replacement, and etc..
Eventually, one will do good, make a lot of money and begin to buy out the other smaller 3D companies then become the Amazon.com of 3D printing.
Or none of them will survive because 3D printing, years down the road, will be so common place, you will be able to do it at home on you personal 3D printer! Or do it over the internet with a company like: thatsmyface.com where you just send in a skin sample and get an organ printed out and sent to you via Amazon.com
I have seen several.
Just google Bioprinting and they will popup
