Wah - I am taking my ball and going home. Wah.
Oh, wait - I don't own the ball...
;)
I had lunch. I am happy again. Go ahead and tease away. I can take it now...
-Neb
Wow - sorry to disrupt. I really didn't mean to, but I was just a bit insulted and I did not feel very welcome - not that it is required. I was just raised a little differently I guess. Apparently the moderator of this board agrees with Leitrim. I guess I can have insults hurled at me and I can not write back.
Sorry - I will not post here anymore. Clearly you do not welcome anybody other than your own little clique. I remember grade school...
I actually thought I was adding to the fun and rooting for what I feel is a great home town company. Apparently I was wrong.
Again, I apologize for the attack, I just felt I was being dissed and that was not what I thought this was all about. I thought it was about Torvec.
Take care all!
-NeWbIE
Planet? Sometimes I think it's a whole other solar system!!!
I wasn't asking for an actual room, Leitrim, I just wanted to help out and contribute or just even visit. Fine. If you are going to "newbie" me I will just stay away. I am sure your walker will simply lose a wheel one day anyway and may very well roll into my path and I might trip and fall and sue Tor Acres and you certainly don't want that!
Enjoy your little circle of arrogant oldness...
Newbie? I did tell you I have been studying and watching for almost a decade. I am not an old guy with tons of money like you - I actually struggle to make ends meet - but if I had it I would certainly have been in a long time ago with far more shares. I think that even with such a small amount of money in my bank account I actually invested what, to me, is a large amount of money. I think that the fact that I am in and have been saying nothing but good things about the people, Rochester (MY home town which I absolutely love and miss), and the philosophy in general, I would have a nicer welcome. Clearly you and your cronies are way above me in both intellect and dollars. I never should have tried to participate in your little club.
Wow that steams me. Newbie. Up yours, Leitrim.
Oh, and not to be negative, I will state once again how proud I am to be holding a tiny piece of such a wonderful company. Even if I DO stand alone.
-Neb
Could I vie for position at Tor Acres? I am only entitled to a part of the shed, but I can set up just like Bill Murray in Caddyshack. My measly 3000 should set me up to be the pool boy...
Can I? Can I? Huh? Huh?
-Neb
Can't argue with that greenish hue...
Thanks, wing!
-Neb
Well, I am in Jersey which, to me - coming from the woods in upstate NY - SEEMS like another country...
Does that count...?
;)
Good Morning All!!
GO SPOOZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!
-Neb
Kind of OT, but could whoever is attaching music to their signature please remove it? It is something that should only be used if the viewer WANTS to hear it. Clicking on a board page to catch up and read late at night and putting on some soft music to soothe my aching wallet should not be suddenly polluted with Billy Joel (love his music) and whatever else was also PLAYING AT THE SAME TIME so I couldn't hear one even if I wanted to (which I didn't).
A stock board discussion forum is not an entertainment center, although it really CAN be quite entertaining sometimes... ;)
I am not a moderator of any kind, but I am requesting that the moderators say something about this. Goofy sigs are great, but when they spit out sound on top of someone else's sound it is extremely annoying.
Sorry to rain on anyone's parade - not trying to spoil the fun here. iHub is a great resource - that's why I am a member here. Thanks to all who post and share great information!!
BYW, GO SPOOZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GLTA!
Sorry for the morning rant.
-Neb
OK, now I REALLY feel like the new guy.
I must say that you all are very dedicated to the company and its engineering prowess. Seeing that there are so many crazy long longs here tells me that there is solid support for the people there. Really, seeing the LACK of volitility and volume helped me realize the true value of this thing. So this survey is good for me to see, as it further supports my theory. I would bet that there are a few lurkers among us who are also seeing that many have been holding for quite a time and that may promote their interest as well.
No worries - slow and steady, people, slow and steady.
Hmmm, maybe I have some belly button lint that qualifies for "MVOJSEHBCFMPPWSMADYISOT Long" status...
;)
-Neb
That is a fun idea - why not?
I am totally confident in this operation, but I don't like seeing the price drop either. However, I am seeing the indications of economic strife all over the markets these past few weeks, and the news of us trying to sell our sub-primes to China is quite disturbing to me (among a million other potentially negative indicators). No one needs an economics degree to see that as a very weak and desperate move. Now in the same breath I am going to say that it is an opportunity for some - thus the same with Torvec.
I have been invested in Torvec for less than a year, but I have been following their progress for almost 8 years. I worked in The Gleason Works IT department for a couple years at the turn of the century (always wanted to use that phrase), and I heard them mentioned a few times. I am dollar cost averaged at a whopping 4.30, and with only 3000 shares I can see myself reducing that DCA in the very near future, while hopefully doubling my holdings (or at least approaching it). Most of you on this board are long time investors and have far more shares than I, (and likely much more liquid capital) but in this stage of my investment life this is the biggest holding I have ever had long term...
AND I AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT OWNING IT!!!!!!
The drop in price does not scare me, as I am not an emotional investor (somewhat lying through my teeth...). I have knowledge of their history, therefore I have faith in their (our) future.
So there you have it - sample size of one, so far.
THE CURRENT RESULTS OF OUR POLL:
100% of respondents say they have held their Torvec stock for less than one year.
The average holding size of all respondents is 3000
100% of all respondents are darn funny and quite good looking.
Strangely enough, this is very similar to just about any poll whose results are on page one of USA Today...
Get it started, casac - good idea.

I love this board, Lowman! And your "watch picks", as well. Thank you for taking the time.
Argyll - SNOPES ROCKS! I love that site. I have discredited more people with that site...
That was definitely funny, though. Humor is humor, regardless of its factual components - some great stuff has been thrown about here.
Again, lowman, thanks for all the amusement - I have enjoyed reading it all, and will continue to get some great free advice and some great chuckles at the same time! I wish I could repay you for your efforts, but perhaps you are one of those who would say on Oprah, "Just helping one investor make a little money is all the reward I need."
Perhaps not...
;)
Have a great green day everyone!
-Neb
And may I offer yet another...
Right on!
Well stated.
-Neb
Right on!
-Neb
It's ALWAYS about the people. I mean, that's what any business really is after all.
Just read this, wing - truly excellent post. Thanks for the DD "assessment" - you are right on.
Actually, it's one of the best I have read of yours so far, but that isn't too many since my literacy volunteer has been off for a few days... ;)
-Neb
Hey Artguy - don't forget the merger between Polygram Records, Warner Brothers, and Keebler Crackers. They will become Polly-Warner-Cracker.
And I also just heard that Xerox and Wurlitzer will be coming together to begin manufacturing reproductive organs.
Happy Weekend to all!
-Neb
Could we get a little bad humor in the house? The stock price is dropping...
We will start here:
What's the difference between an ostrich?
(The confusion of the question itself ought to bring it back to UNCHANGED, at least...)
-Neb
My sentiments exactly!!!
Very nice reply, droopyeyes!!
-Neb
I agree - tons of info, and a respectable poster. Top drawer.
-Neb
Hi Dr.!
I think he/she said he/she was going out for a while, and thus no posts. I do not know him/her, but I have been reading the posts, and he did say right before the press release that he/she would be heading out. I think that was in a post around 12:30 or so. Check it out.
Oh, and by the way, I am not implying any kind of cross gender thing here... ;)
-Neb
I would love to send an e-mail to her. I have much to tell/ask of her. However, I would never step on anyone's toes as I am not the spokesperson for the company and would not want to jeopardize any current efforts. Don't get me wrong - I WILL send her an e-mail, but I want to make sure I am doing the right thing, as I am not one to put my nose where it doesn't belong...
*snif snif*
*CHOP!*
Seriously, thanks for the support, allnumbers - does anyone else have opinions on this as well? If we have a consensus here, I will share with my sister and I will send a very nice e-mail to Maggie. Perhaps just having random shareholders spouting the ingenuity to her would help. I would just hate to annoy and pester, as many shareholders of many stocks do. Anything I do in this effort needs to be positive only.
All advice is accepted. Maybe not adhered to, but accepted... ;)
-Neb
I, for one, would like to read these discussions. Although I may seem a bit light hearted (which I am) I am very serious about this company and my ownership of said entity. I think inviting Maggie for some kind of tour or educational session would be most valuable. I was not kidding about my sister - they hobnob together in the same circles. Somehow her e-mail address ended up in my Yahoo address book - must have hit a reply to all and saved all addresses...
The point I am making is that the idea is a good one, and I would be able to plant some seeds in my sister's head about it. I know it should and will be an official event and all, but I am just offering what I can from 300 miles away. I have nothing else to offer other than a few bad jokes, and the money I have invested.
-Neb
I think that is a great idea. I remember Maggie when she was on WHAM. My Mom bought me a Radio Shack crystal radio kit - the one with the springs and wires to teach little guys like me about circuit boards and such - when I was little and I used to stay up after being put to bed and I would listen to my crystal radio that I built myself!! I was so proud...
I remember hearing Maggie Brooks on that crystal radio with one little ear piece, as I look at the myriad of sound gear I now play everything through...
The reason I mention it is because I have always had a nice feeling about her and her intentions. I have never spent any time with her, although my sister is a friend of hers, but again she always seemed to be pretty logical and fair. I do not spout ANY political affiliations, as I have none, but I do think she is doing a fine job at home. As is typical of Rochester, she is low keyed, hard working, fair and seemingly honest. Kind of like this company. she would be a great fit for an afternoon picnic in Bushnell's Basin.
You have my vote. I would even drive back home to take part - I could be the guy that brings around the trays of little hot dogs and industrial strength crab cakes but instead I will pass out washcloths and soap for those lucky enough to have gone mudding in the FTV...
Give me a call if my services are requested...
-Neb
100K?! Yikes! I've fallen again and I don't have my earnings yet!!!
I guess I will stay here on the floor - at least I can still see my on-line ticker and with my wireless mouse and keyboard...
-Neb
Me too - this is a keeper. I don't have nearly as many as Pink, but at 2 Million free riders, I have nothing to complain about. Not selling. Period.
OK, maybe after we hit a dollar... ;)
Great stuff here - thanks for all the information!
-Neb
I hope so, Wing!
I just bought in this morning - a tiny bit for me as I pulled my original investment out of WNSH.
I grabbed 100,000 at .0055 late this morning. I am diggin' the product, and the potential is huge. I just wish I had more to invest, but this bit ought to help slightly with the early retirement goals. If nothing else, it can pay for my subscription to life alert throughout my golden years...
"I've seen the Spooz Toolz and I had heart palpitations which made me fall and I can't get up!!"
I just hope 100,000 gives me a little something....
GTA!!!!
-Neb
Good Morning!
Is there anyone awake here?
This company is moving right along, or so it seems from what little DD I have done so far. What is the current situation - both here on the iHub board and with the company itself?
I am not one to call them and ask the standard probing "annoying shareholder" questions, as I think it is a bit disrespectful. However, I am not opposed to an inquiry done in a polite, non-imposing fashion. I just thought I would check here first in case anyone has already done it.
Anyone?
My thanks in advance...
-Neb
Good Morning Vagabond!
Just read this crap and I am saying to myself, "how is this legal?"
So I ask you, and anyone else who might have any legal thinking in their heads, "HOW IS THIS LEGAL?"
There really are people who trade on emotion, which it the worst way to trade but happens just the same, and they would see this and get nuts about this and sell first thing to get their seed money out or because they feel they were scammed.
The MMs need to be roped in. They do not need to play this way - we can ALL make money WITHOUT THEIR TACTICS!!
Sheesh! I'm pretty worked up already! To da#n early to do this on a weekend. I will go on to read the rest of the posts, which is like 100 million I think... ;)
-Neb
netooi - I agree 100% with you. Don't get me wrong - I am not bashing anyone - I do my own DD. I do not e-mail companies asking such questions, as I have been in business for years and I know better. I wait for the company to do its thing - then I act based on what research I have done and the performance of the company. No e-mail is going to change their course, and it only gets them annoyed with their pesky shareholders. the shareholders are the most important, but the shareholders must realize that they are nothing with out the company. Both should work to help each other. Unfortunately, greed is prevalent and leads to ignoring the fundamental principals of investing and business.
I will stop spouting on this. I am on the side of those who want to see the company succeed and make money on their merits.
Thanks for helping with this effort, netooi. We need your kind here!!
-Neb

Thank you NEBULAE for bringing this to our attention. It has been our practice to only talk to a few investors privately, as public information is not valuable to us. If we can try to push the price up a little with an e-mail or two to some very very special investors, we can be sure of the market and we always test this way.
No, we don't adherer to common business practices, and the SEC...I'm sorry, what is the SEC?
Anyway, it is always a pleasure to write to you even though I have no clue who you really are, and I am confidently grateful that you will accurately post these responses from me, as I can not do it myself because I am so tired, as it is 4 in the morning here and I have been up for 20 days straight getting this thing running.
Sincerely,
Francis 'Manzana the bull' Manzo
OK - get the picture?? None of this is real - find the glaring errors other than the body itself. There are many.
Protect yourself. And your money. Invest smart. Do your DD.

Hi Pink!
Not trying to make a scene here, and I hold this stock as well, but I want to point out that GMT is 5 hours ahead of the east coast, and during DST it is 4 hours ahead. So if what you are saying is true, then GMT - 0700 must be the west coast. This e-mail says 11:00:22, then it was written at 4:00 AM. I highly doubt that even a great company like this would be in writing responses to investors on a discussion board at that time in the morning.
These are the little clues that people need to look at before reacting to posted nonsense. I hope I am wrong and they are really that tuned to their shareholders, but I kind of doubt it.
Just trying to keep it real, people.
-Neb
netooi,
How did you get this particular e-mail?
Everybody look at things like the time-stamp in every e-mail header posted. How could this have been sent at 11:00:22 when it is only 9:38 in the morning?
I am not disputing your sentiment that anyone can post anything and make it look real. In fact, you have just confirmed it! I am guessing that ANY legitimate company would not send private e-mails to investors and would ONLY send them out through proper channels.
WARNING TO ALL: These e-mails are simple BS to manipulate the stock. Nothing wrong with any of it, other than the ethical issues that seem to be scarce in pinkie land, as it is part of the game. Just don't believe any of them - even if they seem to support your position. Get your facts from THE COMPANY and not posters.
Boards are fun, but do your DD ALWAYS!!
Oh, and have fun and make loads of cash - that's the real goal.
-Neb
Forget the giant pipe - I just want what's in it!
Great day today!
Go WNSH!
-Neb
Great news and more confidence than ever.
Just one question - why does it say June 11th on the header?
-Neb
Great - I post and the SP drops a dime. Maybe I shouldn't have subscribed to iHub and just stayed as a "lurking entity"...
Perhaps back to the SP raising jokes...?
Anyone...????
*crickets*
OK, I will not leave my day job...unless it is an offer from someone to come back home and be a trainer/speaker for their very successful company...
-Neb
*sigh*
After the survey, I feel a bit "under-represented" and would like to pick up some more shares. If only I was made of money I could buy on a whim. Instead, I will wait for another penny to mature to a dollar and then buy. This whole waiting thing is tough (not the company - my inability to buy when I want to!!)
I have all the patience in the world for Torvec to do what it needs to do. I just wish I could be in the next category up. I suppose if they continue to work at this nice slow careful pace I may get my chance. (Not that I am ungrateful for the few I own - believe me I would rather have some than none!)
So a slow day it is. Summertime laziness, hot weather, Canandaigua Lake calling, Abbotts custard required...
What the f*&^ am I doing in New Jersey!!!???
Note to self: must find job and move home soon...
-Neb
So from the survey I gather that there are quite a few large holders of this company's stock. I thought my 3000 was huge. (For me it IS huge - my largest ever!) As a relatively new investor, does this level of holding seem too small to take advantage of whatever may come down the line? I know it is a silly question, but I am getting the impression that there are mostly large holders here and I have been following the company and its followers for years now and I am thinking that I may not be holding what I think I am...
Again, any insight would be helpful. Not that I have a pile of money to buy more, but I would move the other smaller ones into a pile and go from there...
Target anyone?
-Neb
Very good - Thanks!
-Neb
Not to be confused with "polled ants Jello" which, strangely enough, brings me to the survey from earlier. Is that an iHub survey or is it from someone in particular?
Also, are the results posted anywhere? Yes, I could go look around, but what fun is that when I can just ask the ones who know?
Thanks.
-Neb
Got it.
Thanks, Green Mile!
-Neb
