A regulatory pathway is what is needed.
I buy the singles so my store keeps it on the shelf. KG mgmt must be happy with the online biz model,
I really like it. I spoke with a someone in that biz about it this morning. It has merit.
The banking relationship angle could be a good revenue stream eventually and worth exploring. Smaller banks commercial lending depts have limited resources and could subscribe for such info. IMO.
I’ve added down here as well. We’ll see.
Agreed. My store now sells the HighDrates. I probably do more marketing at my golf club than KGB does a company. I’ve shown the HighDrates to peeps and most are receptive to the CBD content.
This FDA holdup is BS.
And Fax you’re right about the marketing. I don’t care who does it as long as the messaging is consistent. How hard is this? Maybe I’m missing something regarding Twitter?
Mgt is lame. There should have been reorder news by now.
Still nothing on Walmart? The volume has fallen way off as well. RC should be informing and promoting via Twitter. How hard is that?!
From my observation the fins don’t move the needle. At least lately. There’s been a 24 hr lag with a minor pop but that’s been about it. New deal / disty news would probably be more appreciated. JMO.
My guy is selling Kona 2/ $4.00. What’s anybody else paying for singles?
The elev8 Advisors Group angle is interesting.
It’s a lot “concerning” but I’m resolute on management getting a marketing budget worked up sometime in the near term. The problem most management teams have with marketing is it’s hard to measure and takes time to build a brand. It starts with a good tag line. Heck if it’s good enough I’ll use it. I wouldn’t leave marketing to the distys as they promote what pays their bills. A complete messaging overhaul should not be overlooked.
I suspect it’s primarily Gold Leaf pushing it along with Amazon, (and hopefully Walmart) reorders. It’s my understanding that there are Reps on the street in specific markets. I don’t know their compensation structure but assume it’s growth based sales incentive commission. I just watched a waterskiing video. The kid isn’t even filmed slamming a Kona? Maybe I missed it.
That said I’m trying to buy this morning!
Agree. Where is the Walmart PR? Did I miss it?
Agreed but small start ups don’t typically land the upper echelon distribution partners. That takes time. I have no idea how KG structured their disty contracts - but I suspect they’re not overly incentivizing their partners.
We’re currently seeing the ramifications of the funding issue reflected by the SP. Hopefully it comes to a conclusion.
Adding as well.
My Kona source in Cadillac, MI is running a sales campaign on KG and HighDrate 2 for $4.00 etc. I don’t know if this is a regional or national campaign for market share but I like the aggressive posture.
Has there been a Walmart PR? I might have missed it as I was on PTO.
Very good news. As far as the PR goes someone might have jumped the gun and edited the WM page before the contract was signed. Now KGB has to give people a reason to buy it, (marketing) and where! IMO
FYI - there is a KGB rep working in the Midwest (MI etc) and is apparently is getting after it.
Volume up near 3x DA. I’d say all of the above.
I’d like to see a Gold Leafs’ Kona products sales. I’m assuming Gold Leaf is now selling the majority of the Kona products. Sales people tend to sell what’s already selling. With limited to zero brand awareness relying solely on dist will be a longer road. KGB needs some sort of marketing buzz to get mindshare of the distributors sales force. IMO.
Look at some other CBD / Functional drinks makers:
APRU
NBEV
WTER
None of them are killing it either. A small company still in existence after the Covid surge must have redeeming qualities and in this case it’s products. A couple more good Q’s and a sound marketing plan is what’s needed.
Right or wrong KGB is associated with the cannabis market. When it’s legalized it will move.
Waiting on FDA approval for hemp derived CBD beverages. Molson Coors still haven’t rolled out Quicksilver yet, (to my knowledge). When CBD is finally approved distys will be knocking on KG’s door but not until then. Lemin and distribution are a bridge to CBD approval, (IMO).
PR still not on TD.
I’m really hoping that is was a recap of February.
YAII PN, Ltd. Is this filing reporting on what happened back in February or is this additional?
Summer sales of Lemin should be good news. But what’s the annual Sales Potential? Are these revenues sustainable or seasonal lemonade?
Apparently KG is not a pull through - for now. 0 news on that.
Brand building takes time and focus - two scarce commodities. Share of wallet and Lemin is good but KGB needs a 24/7/365 drink - maybe even KG w/ and w/o hemp - something to apply long term focus on. Otherwise growth through acquisition is a proven play but has its own issues.
Mgt needs to produce a 1-2-5 year game plan.
Agreed. Follow up order details would be good news.
1.). An act of Congress
2.). Divine intervention
3.). A marketing plan
3.). A whole lot of good news
Agree. KG sales are linked directly to FDA approval timeline IMO. In the interim generate revenue where possible.
Lemin is a HR with existing disty channel and customers.
Hemp products growth / revenue suspect until FDA approval.
More acquisitions of existing positioned product, (hopefully w/o dilution) is a path forward.
Being nimble is good.
I’m hoping .034 is attainable with some good Q revenue news.
Nothing serious 20K. 745K total.
Discount or falling knife? I loaded more anyway.
Banking solely on Amazon sales for Kona now seems like the plan. Its a crowded space and any significant growth would be hard to achieve. The Kona disty chatter is essentially non existent as they’re probably waiting on the FDA.
How about buying now and it goes up 10% later this week?
Since this is the largest selling line it would be good if it was operational.
If growth is through acquisition we can expect more of the same? I
Positive news! Plus trade show exposure coming up. All good!
