Ideas on how ubqu can get new HLTcustomers?
Let's be productive in this board. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get more new Hemp Life Today customers?
Since we know management reads this board perhaps they will hear us...
I am getting evermore concerned about this, especially since Medical Marijuana Inc, HLT's main competitor and a major player in the industry, announced last week they are copying HLT's biz model by offering a discounted subscription service to their consumers.
We all know HLT has great products but it is obvious they are having serious growing pains that they need to resolve.
Here are some of my ideas (some of these management is turning their back on but hopefully they will change their mind soon):
-1st and foremost Natural SEO improvement - they said they are working on it but we haven't seen any progress as of yet... (perhaps we could tell them sites that could help putting backlinks on)
-Get on the Top Rated CBD oil ranking websites- They currently are missing out big on this opportunity.
-Go to all the biggest trade shows Nationwide - It seems they are resistant to this idea as well right now, but it is a nominal cost that could help boost their brand across the industry. These types of trade shows did wonders for their competitor Pot Network.
-Get big name celebrity endorsements from people who can tweat/instagram their products to the celebritie's millions of followers. To achieve this they could send sample products to big names in the hopes of starting a relationship.
-Create a new "hemp oil" product that does not use the "CBD" wording so they can more easily sell in Google shopping and Amazon and Walmart online.
-Contact/ start a conversation with Amazon.com's upper management and help them understand/convince Amazon that HLT products are legal in all 50 states and the CBD's are hemp based. So there is no reason why they can't be sold on Amazon.
-Do 30 second late night test commercials for TV. The cost buy late night time can be very cheap... Anywhere from a few grand and up. And they could probably make a decent 30 second commercial for 20 grand with the right people.
-Create larger incentives for referrals/ offer 50 percent off to current customers next order when they successfully refer a new buyer.
Anyone else have other ideas on how the company can get newbies and grow the brand?
If they payed it down with net profits/cash for the quarter. And broke even for that quarter while still showing sales growth. That may be a good way. Who knows how the market would react, but my thought is that would be a good sign to investors. Since the convertable debt is obviously the key ingredient significantly negatively effecting share price currently.

All I know is it's crazy that shareholders have to feel this much pain for 500-600k in left over convertable debt, or whatever that debt amount now is.
Crazy... That is not much debt they just need to get it off the books already.
The company SHOULD figure out how to get listed on the best CBD products ranking websites. And the company SHOULD be easily found when people search for CBD products. Especially in states where cannabis CBD products are still not allowed but hemp CBd products are allowed.
They SHOULD figure out how to open up the new customer flood gates asap.
This is coming from someone who successfully built and marketed a highly competitive business.

If Ballas really cared about investors he'd bite the bullet and pay off the convertable debt with profits every quarter till its gone.
It's not enough. If you search for many different types of CBD terms they don't show up anywhere, there is no excuse for that especially with everything they have already done. We hit a new 52 week low today. And competition is rapidly increasing in the CBD marketplace. With new CBD competing companies coming to market often. They have the potential to be one of the bosses in the business. But they need to work at it and improve getting new customers right now! They need to be found more easily and grow their reputation as one of the best CBd options out there. Sure they say their the best but basically every CBD quality ranking website doesnt even mention them. Just google " best CBD " and you will see they're nowhere to be found on the CBD rating sites.
There is always room for improvement. Any marketing expert could see this.

Well then maybe you need to learn how to do a better job at this type of thing. Just like ubqu needs to learn how to do a better more cost effective job with this type of thing that will provide better growth.
Your right they are probably wasting money or at least overspending with mantis. There are better ways to spend that money and become more naturally well known than display ads. Display ads are the biggest money wasters out there.

Your grasping for straws now. Point is adwords ads can and do get approved. That is what other competitors in the CBD industry have already figured out.
Anyway Not so important now. natural seo is where they should focus currently in achieving.
ALL ad listings that appear in simple google search results have to be approved by google before they go live. If Mantis is part of those simple search text ad listings on Google then they are buying ad words ads too. Adwords IS google. So once again these statements are proven wrong.
If mantis is doing display ads or other ads then that is directly to individual websites. Not to direct google results if they are showing in google results they are paying google and are approved by google.

More like 100 percent correct. It's not an ad or two there's CBd ads everywhere. display ads search ads adword ads excetera and check daily they will still be there. Clearly that's not googles policy anymanymore.
but like I said before this really is a side issue. ubqu needs to focus on time and money invested in natural SEO results the AdWords work much better with natural SEO already in place

I mean seriously think about. What would you do if your trying to decide which brand of CBD to go with? Wouldn't you research to try to figure out which is the best option for you? HLT products currently show in almost none of that research that a consumer finds.
That's only for Amazon rules. And there are two different types of CBD marijuana and hemp that's the point. And another reason why natural marketing is equally if not even more important

The hemp products are no longer banned in adwords or facebook so your incorrect on that one.
It's not negativity, it's reality. Somebody has to say it. No more broken promises! They need to learn what successful modern day marketing means and how to achieve it. And thus create successful rapidly growing customer base.
Better to say and learn now rather than waste time for a less successful outcome later on.
Until debt/share conversion ends, which is currently not helping any shareholders, this is the time for constructive criticism that will make for a better stronger company.
I believe they can be the kings of the nationwide marketplace. But they are still learning how to do this. As the flaws in their current limited marketing plan are obvious. And thus they need to adjust for greater potential.

Those were just words in a press release, I'm not interested in what they say they are gonna do. I'm interested in what actually gets done and shows in concrete real results. As we all know they have said a lot of things in press releases that did not pan out.
No more broken promises.
They need to learn how to dominate CBD marketing to the public. And use all tools possible to do so, and this is one very important tool that they have not figured out how to use yet.
They should be selling to millions in all 50 states!
Never throw away an easy opportunity to expand. As if 150,000 of potential new customers each month would not send UBQU into the stratosphere. Even adding 15,000 new customers per month would be huge for them.
UBQU's established competitor Medical Marijuana Inc ranks #1 top slot in natural seo results for almost all of those. So it obvious it can be accomplished.
Though that is some slight progress. It is not really about searching for the company name that was just the most basic extreme example. It's search terms like:
Cbd oil
hemp cbd
pet CBD
best CBd
buy CBd
find CBd
CBd for pain
etc.
These are the types of google search results they can naturally rank well in, and currently are not.
Yeah that was part of my consideration as well. Back then it looked like they really did have share holders in mind. What kept me in was the name change coming releases. I could not believe when the broke that promise. It was such a betrayal. And the debt paydown you mentioned. I think he only ended up doing that one time. And then it seems they just keep flooding the market with more convertable shares ever since. It took us from the fours to where we sit now at almost yearly subpenny lows.
Then the free trial capsules probably a waste of time and effort in the end or at least did not provide the type of massive increased sales the press releases hyped it could.
And then now recently with their latest promo promise of CryptoBuy and the release of their Crypto logo. As if that is some kind of big deal to make a logo. It's clear investors are seeing through the fluff this time. All very frustrating for all of us bag holders out there.
The petmeds news is good, but they are not the only game in town and there is a lot of competitors already selling pet CBD products.
I cannot stress enough how important it is that they figure out a way to rapidly grow the HLT consumer base with real world marketing concepts. As they are clearly significantly struggling with rapidly increasing growth beyond the stable costumer base they already have.

All I know is those convertable notes are the bain of shareholders existence. I originally foolishly trusted Ballas when he said he had shareholders interest in mind and that the name change was happening back in the day.

Quit defending their mess ups. And get on team it will be better when they fix em. Better for everyone. How they built a website/web app that is totally defunct of being seo friendly is a HUGE mismanagement oversight. I hope the fix it soon and will be glad when they do. I think that foot missed the monitor and got stuck in the mouth instead.
Sorry bud the lack of understanding is not mine. Natural SEO is an entirely different game than adwords. And there is nothing stopping them from achieving this except themselves. I know exactly what I'm talking about so the research and find the truth.
And actually there are plenty of CBD product ads google allows in adwords. Just search CBD oil and see the ads that show up on Google.
This whole idea of "we can't becuase" is a loosing mentality it needs to be replaced "we can and here is how we figured out a way"
Nobody can deny growth has slowed. Many more customers will come as soon as they figure out how to be more omnipresent online which is totally easily possible.
Yeah they just need to transform out of the direct mail infomercial mind set and there is a whole new world waiting for them... Once they take off the blinders.

This is what I'm talking about... "only approximately 74,000" people from one CBD oil search per month. The callousness and arrogance in how they say this is so frustrating...
That's a potential 74 thousand NEW repeat customers every month from just one type of search! Or 888,000 potential new customers per year just from that search!!!
They only currently have 6280 followers on facebook and 9128 followers on twitter. And I have tracked those followers numbers almost the whole year and they have barely budged at all.
The disregard in how they say things in press releases like this is so unprofessional. They are basically begrudgingly saying OK fine we are gonna do SEO now but even if it works it's only gonna give us potentially almost a million new customers per year. Of course everyone who searches "CBd oil" isn't gonna buy. BUT you get my point!
Natural SEO is the gift that keeps giving, once they figure out how to rank on 1st page google results they can stay in those results with not much extra cost of maintenance. They don't have to keep constantly paying like they do with direct snailmail, facebook ads, adwords etc. In the end they want all these marketing channels flowing well together and working in unison. But natural SEO is the cornerstone of any proffesional, well thought out marketing plan for any smart successful company. I mean come on EVERYONE GOOGLES EVERYTHING! And it should be noted that the competitor company Medical Marijuana Inc, who was also mentioned in the forbes article, shows up in natural search for ALL the CBD searches in the top slot, so obviously they know the importance of it.
The good news is that for a nominal cost per month UBQU can remedy the lack of SEO and there is a new untapped massive growth potential of new sales once their official website starts dominating all the different types of CBD keyword searches. It is good that they learn to be well skilled in this now before it becomes a multi-billion dollar industry and the competition really starts heating up.
When Natural SEO actually starts working and we can confirm it for real on google searches it can be changed. Till then it is a good reminder to the company's easily attainable needed improvement that is yet to be done by them and the work they still need to do.
We all are tired of Broken promises, and sweet talking pitch letters from the CEO to shareholders... It is time to see real results and massive growth kicking in. Time to see real confirmable marketing progress and then things can change.

Amount of debt already converted? Is any one keeping track? I think they were at 600-800k in convertible debt earlier this year. It would be good to find out how much of that has been reduced based on these amounts of convertible debt shares sold. Anyone done the math and came up with a number?
Hopefully they are not taking on new debt with same type of toxic convertable debt deal. That would really be screwing over shareholders and not keeping shareholder's interests in mind as the CEO claims to be in press releases.

Its gotta be an inadequate CEO problem. He really needs to take a back seat because his expertise are worn thin and he is hurting growth. He wasn't the creator of Hemp Life Today he was just lucky enough to have it fall in his lap when TIM ZORN's HLT company decided to go public through his already created old UBQU shares from a failed old software company.
Ballas needs to put his ego aside and let the company grow beyond his sub par methods that are lackluster. Hopefully he is smart enough to understand this and will allow better affordable intelligent marketing experts to take the reigns. So the company can really grow & everyone can get rich, including him!

They Need To Step Up Their Natural SEO for the new website big time.
You can't find them on Google for many CBD search terms. I even googled hemp life today and their actual website does not show in the results. They really need to take search engine optimization seriously, they are currently missing out on a lot of potential customer leads without it.
Hopefully one of these days the Company will realize the numbers should do the talking not the CEO.
Technically speaking, here is where things get interesting. Next few weeks will be the make it or break it indicator for the near future.

It's not about that, it's just looking at the possibilities of the technical setup considering horizontal support and resistance and simple moving averages and how they could effect current price.
And the company still has serious work to do, before the whales start taking them more seriously.

Seems like 89ask#ofshares is a lot bigger than it looks. I hit it with a buy of the number of shares it was showing at the Ask to see if it would clean it out earlier. And the transaction did not change a thing in terms of the number of shares on the ask block. Looks like there is more there on the auction block than what is showing.
Not a bad candlestick for the day all in all.
