Marq...read the document. It was written by the lawyers of someone who Doug gave the sales pitch to. The patent filed referred to is the "engine girdle" for high horsepower engines and racing applications which results in an increase in mpg. This is the part they refer to in the first half of the letter. This anybody can find.
The second half is a warning and advises them of two things, get off their azzez and ACTUALLY file...one year from public disclosure or they risk losing patentability.
It also warns Doug that any offer to sell the engine voids its patentability.
More simply put, get the damn thing(s) filed, and stop running your mouth about selling it or news of potential sales or lose all patentability.
Also, I like you to find out from Peter to clarify the upcoming Auto show. We understand it is only a "rendering" that will be there, but clarify the rendering part. An artist or designers rendering is simply a sketch or picture.
It could also mean a non working model, probly full scale?.
Just what exactly IS gonna be shown??
And DOES he have enough money to pay for the "rendering" or not?
The last we ever heard of RVGD employee's (guys who do the actual work) was that they all attended a meeting in OHIO.
Do we having employees on our payroll? If not it means someone else is footing the bill. This might imply some kind of partnership exists with a company. So whats up?
Find out what happened to the two other GTM kits. Sold on ebay, repo'd by Factory Five? What?
Who owns the show GTM? Has it been sold?
He still advertises the GTO, Solstice, and Ridgeline as being current. Whats happening here? BS or some work going on?
Again, since NOTHING is being done at the shop, who is doing the work, and why are they doing it? We dont have money, we dont have staff?

Why hasnt POET stepped up to the plate with some money? After all, he has more E85 stockpile than the entire US produces in a year...
Chances are, nobody wants to lend Peter anything. He doesnt even own a house, so he cant even be sued for it. He has no ties to Indiana. NO investment in the community. He could not even expand the existing property as he originally planned.
Where are the staff we used to employ? What happened to the announced sales from all the GTO builds that were to occur over the winter?
He keeps mentioning building new facilities on 170 acres. Does the town or county that offered it even have 170 acres of commercial property?
What is the exact relationship between Doug and Peter? Whats the history and why hasnt Doug spoke of it?
How much longer will Doug give Peter to come up with some solid funding before he gives it to someone more qualified?
Can you give me five reasons why a bank or anyone else would lend this guy any money?
Does he have a proven record of product success?
How much are his yearly sales? Have they been increasing?
Has he ever shown a profit?
Does he even own the building he is headquartered in?
Why Ohio? Wouldnt Indiana welcome a legitimate and successful business?
A recent pr, says the 300 Gs is much needed to move the progress of the Verde forward, which means he wont even use it to move to the OHIO town and actually do anything there.
When I post, I can back it up. I just dont blindly bash. In fact all I do is point out to people what he has promised and what he has delivered - TO US and thats nothing.
Who has benefitted from his great works? Geez. Even his home town location of DACATUR wants nothing much to do with him.
No word on his Penske Honda stuff. No word on GTO kits sales.
No word on anything. Just BS and promises is all he has successfully delivered to us.
Get a grip on reality. Hope is not a good investment strategy, and this deal if not successful is the end of it.
IF Peter resigned as CEO I might buy a few more shares, but he has proven himself less than trustworthy. Factory five never bothered to even comment on Peter and any relationship.
No one will trust Peter until he proves himself worthy of it. NO one is buying into his bs anymore - just you and a few others.
Even Doug keeps things distant. Should be a clue.

All the time Peter was saying he was gonna do this or that with the GTM-R, - he already was working on the Verde with no intention of continuing with the Verde. In other words he flat out lied to us when announcing GTM plans...
Its hard to put a positive spin on previous outright baldfaced lie as some of those pr's point out, but I think I did a helluva job...

I remember this company well. Cleaned me completely out with some nifty RS's a few years back, their e-card didnt work properly, and the only income they made was from their distributors. Yeah, I signed up and lost that $$ too.

Ahdioyoda used to think the same way as your smart investor. So did many others. My general finding in pinkyland is that when any CEO uses a chosen few to diseminate information to public posting boards such as this one, they are being used badly and the posted information is bs.
Many here were same as Maronti, enamul, and others, believing the spiel, and then tossed to the wolves along with the rest. Expensive lessons. MIndlessly repeating a mantra of sorts on this board or any other will not make things different, only the actions of a responsible and honest CEO will do that.
In pinkyland pps rules. Profit taking as it comes rules. Otherwise you get stuck holding a pig like this one, and can only hope to recover your original investment. Even a new CEO would have a better effect on pps than blue sky promises from a past BS'er.
Patent pending status would allow Doug to actually sell the engine and make money off it even if it is later rejected.
Why not do that? As it is the engines cannot leave the factory without losing patentability rights...

All that matters is that the results be duplicatable upon request, and that no additional fuels (such as propane) or used to help things along. doug seems to be doing this so far, but no one is sure if he's cheating by using propane additive or what.
If anyone's other than POET has incentive to make this work, they havent come forward or have been mentioned. Having 200B gallons of anything stockpiled is an indication of regualar supply and demand...
This is taking so long to happen (patenting) that someone else may come out with something better, but not running their mouth about it and attempting to access funding.
The IP lawyers letter on Dougs site seems to suggest he is being warned not to run his mouth, especially about the part of offering the engine for sale. Maybe thats why the trouble with the patents exist. The letter also seems to suggest that it may also be too late to shut his mouth, and so whatever deal he was working on is dead.
Stupidly he did not properly submit the forms for the X-Prize and is paying the price, and now this letter suggests his mouth may have run him into trouble regarding patentability.
Either way, the time required for his patents is excessive if they have merit or do not infringe on existing patents he mustg engineer around.
The orders received for 320 thousand engines can be interpreted many ways, but seems to suggest they are being offered for sale, as well as the pr's from Peter regarding information. Taking orders for the same might consolidate opinions on whether the engine is being offered for sale in violation of current patenting laws...

Sounds like they cant give the stuff away. I think the plan is flawed because everything is based on the e-85 angle. So what if you get 110mpg if new is on the way that makes the engine and car obselete?
Theres a tweaker in Cal. who does custom reworks for hummers getting them up to 80MPG on diesel....
In a few years, most folks will be able to plug their cars into an electrical outlet and never buy gas for short commutes.
If poet has that much stockpile, it would pay them to GIVE a million in funding to each, Doug and Peter,and then write it off as R and D.
As for the loan guarantee, 300G's is nothing. A start maybe.
For the towns biz community, they should have offered a GRANT or non-repayable. The money would come back to them as jobs are created and people have mo money to spend.

No new patents awarded...the amount of time this is taking suggests there is something fundamentally wrong with the patent itself, and must be re-worked and re-submitted until awarded or rejected.
Nothing printed or presented by rvgd suggests anything really different about the company is happening. Even the lack of real news is the same.
If Peter actually does have something real on the stove, we may never know, all we know is based on the past, and Peters past actions...again nothing has fundamentally changed except we have no products and or sales to speak of. Even the GTO modding seems to have stopped.
So, nothing much else to do except wait and see or sell and get out. Preferably breaking even or perhaps even a little profit.
I'd welcome Peter selling the Indiana facility to raise the required funding for loan guarantee, so as this latest drama comes to an end, he packs his bags and is shunted off back to the land of "down under". End of story.

We have not seen any proof of ANYTHING he has previously told us. WE PHONED, WE TALKED. Just like you are now doing.
He has not offered any proof the anything he has ever claimed is really true. Yeah, he modded a few GTO's. Even a Ridgeline(or two?)and was said to be offering these kits for sale. The molds were made, the money paid - the partnerships in place.
Lets talk logic. If you owned a couple of GTM kits like three of them,and then custom manufactured suspension and what not parts, inventoried them - would it not be logical to at least sell enough GTMS to cover at least partial costs? LIke what were the employee's doing?
Peter handbuilt the GTM frame and components,so there was very little cost, even Em bragged on the countless hours of sanding etc.
So did he ever manufacture the parts?, Did we ever OWN three GTM kits or did the other two get reposessed by F5. Lies lies lies lies lies lies.

It was a build it yourself KIT CAR!!! Unlike other kit cars however this one cost probly 300 G's. Delivered?? To whom?? What happened to the other two?
The EBAY GTO and Ridgeline?? How can ya stay in biz if you sell for less than it costs? Backyard mechanic's build GTM's in the family garage. Did it even sell? We probly still have it and its unclear if he ever FINISHED it completely.

Shane of Raptorworks builds two to three GTMS a year for clients and for a whole lot less AND a lot nicer.
All Peter needed to do was offer more complete GTMS but stuff the Pelmear engine into it. GTO body kits, Ridgeline body kits, GTM kits, NONE OF THEM have made us anymoney.
Any press on any one of the above???NO. Any glowing mag reviews? No. Any sales to speak of? NO. Has Peter delivered anything of any value to shareholders NO.

Hey Dawg. I see the dog and pony show continues to be entertaining, while the three year mark for RVDG is about here.
Its my experience(s) that companies and symbols usually get washed away and morph into something else at about three years. This company and that company get together and become best buddies, merging, changing the symbol, and in the process rinse out the old and existing shareholders, ready for the new crop.
With the new symbol and CEO we then have a new company with a new spin. Near as I anyone can tell, this company is being held together by rotting tape and bits of rusting wire.
If only Peter and Bonnie are running the show, that means Buddy the shop dog has moved on to a better gig...
Peter continues to do his own thing, which in the past has been so far fruitless endeavors with nothing to show for it in terms of sales.
After two years there should be something happening with the patents if they have merit. As a CEO Peter sucks but if he makes us the money who cares? I dont see his track record as all that great myself...
Captain - not worth a 300 gamble? Well think about it for a minute. The 312,000 engines (not verified by journalist?)is easy enough to figure out in terms of $$ Just add another 3 zeroes to that or 312M in orders.
Those are from four (car?) manufacturers and dont represent the afermarket perhaps. RVGD will have its slice of the pie.
Until all the patents are granted I dont expect much to happen to the pps. We need a pic of Pelmear sitting behind the wheel of the Verde prototype and an update on its progress to start generating pre-launch orders/sales.
Not much is done to bolster rvgd image or market sentiment.

"To understand the relationship between an arrow’s kinetic energy, its momentum, and their implications towards the ability of a hunting arrow to penetrate tissues, one must rely on the laws of physics. This discussion cannot be made totally uncomplicated. The following is an attempt to impart a fundamental understanding of the applicable principles of physics, as simply as I can, and relate them to the results from actual field data.
Before delving into the deep abyss of the physics involved in arrow penetration, it is appropriate to first take a few moments to discuss the field data, and the logic behind why it is collected in the manner that it is.
Judging from questions I receive, this appears to be a very misunderstood aspect of the study of terminal ballistics. It is, in many aspects, more akin to forensic medicine than to laboratory science. The aficionado of the many forensic medical shows, now so popular on television, will recognize the methodology. One starts with a real event, something known to have occurred, and then uses pure science to determine and explain the “how and why’ of the incident.
Penetration data collected from real shots, into real tissues, is not a static measurement. Outcomes differ from shot to shot, as the uniformity of tissues encountered change. In the real world it is impossible to control all the variables, and one does not wish to do so. Those variables do exist. They will be encountered.
The scholar of abstract science will cite that this testing methodology includes too many variables, but it is precisely because of the multitude of variables that it is necessary. When dealing with infinitely complex variables, only ‘outcome driven’ information analysis, from a multiplicity of data, provides usable results. This is why the medical community commonly uses ‘outcome driven’ studies.
A commonplace example of these differing test approaches occurred with the development of automobile air bags. Engineers did enormous static testing with crash dummies, controlling all variables, before air bags were introduced.
After the introduction of air bags into production automobiles, studies showed that significant numbers of adult humans were being injured, and sometimes killed, by air bags during their deployment. An even larger number of children were being injured or killed. Static testing had indicated the deployment force would be safe. The ‘reality’ outcome was not as the static testing had predicted.
Outcome studies of air bag performance, in real automobile crashes, with real people on board, pinpointed the incidences where both serious and fatal damage was caused to humans by the air bag. It delineated the tendencies; when the events were likely to occur.
The static test standard was a male, of 160 pounds weight, seated normally within the car. Observed injuries and deaths occurred when occupant size was below the ‘average size’ that had been used in the static studies to determine the safe force levels exerted upon the various parts of the body during air bag deployment AND when the occupant was located closer to the air bag at time of deployment than the ‘static testing standard’ (as with persons using a cushion or pillow behind their back while driving or riding).
The frequency of occurrence of these events was tracked in the outcome studies, and found to have a significant prevalence. Then researchers turned to the pure sciences to find the explanations for the events, which had now been shown to occur in the real world. Force of impact, in relation to both occupant size and position at time of impact, was the culprit.
The force of air bag deployment was simply too violent for human tissues, under particular sets of circumstances, which did occur in the real world application of the air bags. The force of air bag deployment was modified. Outcome analysis of air bag deployment force continues today, and the regulations and guidelines are still being modified, based upon outcome driven studies.
The above example pinpoints the major differences in methodology between the measurements of pure laboratory science and the outcome driven method of deriving conclusions. In laboratory science, one starts with pure measurements and tries to predict future events. Outcome driven studies start with events known to occur; then looks for the scientific explanations of how and why it occurred.

Maronti, dont take it personal, this is a discussion board where EVERYONS miks miztaks. Even spelling. Usually folks with large positions such as yourself and others may use that large amount to keep price down or reduce their cost in situations of a flatlining stock.
When it goes up just a little its a 50% profit. If it hits .0004 its a double, or a triple bagger. The experienced penny player takes a profit whenever the situation presents themselves.
Online they continually pump pump pump, all the while selling into any pps gains driving the pps back down. This I dont mind as the potential gains for little guys doesnt make it worth it to sell a few million.
BUT, when the news hits and there is actually potential to go up large, the ones with the position usually sell into the run all the while screaming "to da moon, to da moon"
I watch the ones who incessently pump, and usually correctly guess who doing the selling and killing the run.
Not saying its you or anybody on this board who might have those intentions, but this post is to explain why some hate pumps as much as bashers. Bashers usually use FACTS to base their arguments. Pumpers have nothing when trying to revive a dead horse.
Like I said before, if you pump, and back it up with a plausible reason, I gots no probs wit dat.
Spellin or none spellin miztaks. Just a dose or reality once in a while. New investors are very subceptible to pump. They get caught easy and lose money they should never invest.

Did you not catch he has been working with OHIO for a couple years? Same with doug? Everything else was a deception to capture a contract that may be worthless. Even F5 may have been screwed over, ramping up production for a car that he never planned to build. Just something to take the shareholders attention away from what he was really up to.
If the engine works out fine. Then we may get our money back, but i really doubt it. YEARS of experience say we get screwed again JUST BEFORE we have a chance.

Peter has not proved anything or done anything except showcase his abilities and talent with our money. No sales to speak of, no real progress to date. Everything is still a promise except for an exclusive deal on an engine that HAS NO PATENT yet.
There is no guarantee that he will be granted a patent on crucial components. What happens to a stock that hangs its hook on a patent that does not go through after a brutal RS?

I hate unsubstantiated pump day after day almost as much as I hate the bashing. Everythings on hold till we see the engine or the patent comes through. The world may NEVER see the engine....its all a coin toss.

Second Dougs car was reported to 2850lbs. I see you failed to mention and calculate rolling resistance of tires (less than optimal?)
Doug has big racing slicks on and they are half flat. The calculations you use for your scenario however appear to have some validity LOL.
