AA is not saying " $9 ".
He says "... approximately trade for 50% and the APE unit 50% of where shares trade just befor the dividend."
ie: if PPS is $22.00, then AMC should be $11.00 and APE should be $11.00
Well,
Maybe when he sold those few thousand shares he was trying to give average investors the chance to buy shares to get the APE shares.
(I noticed you forgot to mention that it was a pretty small number of shares sold)
With all the confusion on the dates it looks like the safest thing to do is to buy what I can before close of today and then just HODL and wait for 'phase 2' of the Pounce.
Wow! Just Wow.
Looks like it is going to stay dark green today.
Flipping? Thought you were waiting for the low 12's.

Bullchit.
What about the 6,000+ honest, hardworking people that work for AMC that the shorts are trying to destroy?
So was that quote true?
(Blackrock lost 1.2 Trillion so far in 2022)
AMC looking good today.
The sheer volume of FUD messages posted today makes me think something must be heating up.
Maybe he meant it was a 'glass ceiling'
amazing how some people claim a nickel down is sickening for the apes but has no comment on 90 cent increase.

Just the Facts with regard to AMC, Sir. Just the Facts.
Thank you. Just because a lot of Apes don't post on IHUB doesn't mean that there are not a lot of Apes.
Most Apes are probably sitting around telling short jokes.
Aren't you still glad you covered your shorts at $20.00?
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=167771828
Why would you have done that if you believe it's going to 3 to 5 ?
I guess that means that >4,000,000 - 10,480 registered shareholders have bought counterfeit shares?
I see why the shorts are fighting so hard.
by 'we' if you mean shorters, then I think you may be right. AMC looking pretty darn good today.
Need to change the name 'stock market' to 'stink (to high Heaven) market'
Yes, Thank you.

Right. A collapse in order to reach true valuation. This is a lead balloon that needs to crush down. Apes sound ok with that so we are ready here too.
I would imagine that quite a few of them used stock donations to help their tax problem they had from the earlier sales.
I do agree that I would like to see them holding onto their shares also. Maybe just for 'good faith' to the share holders.
Could have something to do with donations for tax purposes. There was something posted on that a day or two ago.
I see 16.11 as low of day on AMC.
That's some serious buying.
The pension bought 503,000 more AMC shares in the fourth quarter.
In the fourth quarter, California Public Employees’ Retirement System (The largest public pension in America) more than quadrupled investments in AMC Entertainment Holdings (ticker: AMC) and GameStop (GME),
Your numbers are wrong. Please re-calculate and post factual numbers.
531,000 shares is a huge number of shares for AMC..
I see that there are some people who don't have a clue what the latest share count of AMC outstanding shares is.
Didn't take long to see you were wrong on that one.AMC share price above 19.00 several times just minutes after the post.

Actually 555 means we are going under 19, and 222 means we aren't coming back.
I think we all know that the reported numbers are all a bunch of hog-wash.
Do you know what the latest share count of outstanding shares is?
people must have liked the 13D that got filed.
I understand what you say, but when they stretched the rule to let the short happen before the borrow it snapped the rubber band and led to the major naked short position the market has today.
The old saying 'give em an inch and they'll take a mile' it probably the saying that covers it.
Shorting may have a place but I can not agree with naked shorting. With the trading being done by computers, I see no reason for it.
You didn't mention the apes that are holding from less than $2.00 and up to current price.
Intentional omission?
If o/s is 540,000,000 and true apes hold more than 540,000,000 it would mean the shorts can not all cover until some of the astronomical s/p have been reached.
This one says Citadel got hit with some pretty big losses.
Hedge funds are hurting.
AMC not going to die. Just like wrestling never died.
Yes there is. Thank you. Looks great.
Who really believes that theaters are done for?

After two “virtual” years thanks to the pandemic, the TCM festival returns with fans April 21-24 with the theme “All Together Now: Back to the Big Screen.”

After two years of going digital because of the pandemic, the TCM Classic Film Festival announced Wednesday that it is welcoming fans back to Hollywood for its 2022 edition April 21-24. The theme: “All Together Now: Back to the Big Screen.”
“We are thrilled to be returning to Hollywood for our 13th festival next spring,” TCM general manager Pola Changnon said in a statement. “We were grateful to share the TCM Classic Film Festival with fans virtually the last two years, but there’s nothing like being in a theater enjoying the movies the way they were meant to be seen — on the big screen.”
"Everybody likes going to the movies"
You did what? when the price was $14.00?
