I understand giving a discount to sell shares, but 40% is quite steep.
Things like that keep people away from the market.
After getting burned a couple of times in bio, I basically refuse to hold overnight.
I trade to generate an income and the possibility of a 40% haircut is real.
Crap like this dissuades people from getting involved.
And if you get stung, you can't trade for a few days/weeks as you try to force back to even. (Revenge trading)
Nah.
Pharma is horrible to hold on a risk reward basis through waiting for news.
The stock is selling off as someone is trying to get shares.
Once they get what they want, it will start bouncing.
There are a lot people that held and are up.
Easy to scare them out dropping from $2.50 to below $2.00
Today's deal sounds good, it's just that someone tried to get cheap shares.
It's best to find an entry on pullbacks on good pharma news because there is plenty to shakeout.
It's finding support for a push later.
The news says the new contracts are worth $1.8 million.
So obviously the market cap should increase by $100 million.
I did the math.
Maybe confirmed today after hours?
A Seeking Alpha article stating they had court victory and a little volume with price action.
Could be just a little pump job but seems to be finding a bid at $22
Much easier targets than this for a pump, but you never know.
It hit, but sharp pull back.
Financing incoming?
Seems decent.
Capped off my trading year, otherwise I would hold it for $2s
If this was released last week, the stock would have had a better run.
However, someone may start building now and the stock may pop in the new year.
Man's chilling in Nigeria/Jamaica for the Fall and Winter months.
Woof.
It would not be very PC of me to answer.
Yes, I bought and sold some at 50% and 100%
Riding freebies and either waiting for promoters to start showing support or news from the quiet company.
You don't find it startling that the promoters haven't said anything?
Bid down to $0.14 and major promoters have gone silent.
Don't worry they will buy back around $0.03-0.04 again.
Brutal silence from promotors.
News is always tomorrow on the OTC.
Where is the ask hitting volume?
$0.08 would be a mediocre place to buy lotto tickets. $0.05 and lower with radio silence is more likely.
I will be one of the first to buy when the company puts out something official as everyone here has presented good reasons to hold.
Buying now is quite the gamble with radio silence from the company.
In order to get enough outsiders interested in buying and holding, some news would definitely be helpful.
Too many cases of posters and even CEOs saying trust me recently with nothing to back it up.
The reason why confidence is low and moves very short is because non-degenerates need to feel like they aren't just flushing money down the drain.
The stock being up 5x with nothing from the company is not going to get people interested.
Most would rather wait and pay 10x with some words from the company.
It's not 2019 anymore.
I have admitted to liking the information here, but too many CEOs just ghost investors in 2023.
A spark of information from the company would do wonders for confidence and would get people to buy and hold rather than flip for $0.01 gains.
Maybe you guys can get this to $1 with nothing official from the company, it would just be more sustainable should the company release information.
Yesterday was quite the move, but with no news, I am not sure it can hold.
A lot of interesting tidbits about something in the future.
The stock is up 5x without the company saying anything.
You have all definitely built a case for buying and holding when/if news comes out.
Unfortunately, these days a company needs to put out news to get any decent sustainable run.
The float here is pretty nice and could lead to something great.
Would be nice to see something public come out to support buying at new highs.
We shall see, last week 3s got taken.
If there is any news, could see a decent move.
Liking the pullback on pop to $26
Pretty sure institutional money got burned on possible government shut down and this one got overly hammered.
Shorts trying to maximize their profit but I am fairly certain that some buyers are soaking up shares now.
Support starting to build at $25ish
As I said before, the uncertainty around the government shut down kept money out on Friday and maybe even earlier in the week.
This was a gift below $0.30 this morning based on that.
30% gains in the early morning is great.
With the government shut down looming on Friday and being postponed until next year (or whatever) I think a lot of people kept money out of the market.
I think this is one of the stocks that likely sees a pop today as a result.
Let's see whether this can find and build support from $0.30s
In case anyone is wondering why it tanked ...
They not only released financials, they also announced financing at $1.58/share.
Seems like there is no overhang at this point.
Nice.
Someone paid for it to come out of the Expert Market ...
First time looking at the financials of an OTC stock?
Well, the 3s got smacked, wasn't expecting that before 1pm with the relative slowdown in trading.
Could be an interesting afternoon and week.
Unsure if I want to throw some at the ask myself though.
Not much overhang came and hit the bid at 2s.
Could be a good thing ...
That's every OTC stock!
We shall what goes first, the bid or the ask.
The small bid hit seems unusual.
Unsure if someone wants to just buy at 2s, so gave it a little tap themselves.
If someone wanted to dump a whole bucket they would/could have cleared it.
AURC is now BETR and is trading below $3
Took a small flyer and hopefully can make enough to just free ride the warrants I still have.
Why haven't the convertible noteholders converted more?
Or have they and it is not reportable as less than 10% of the outstanding now?
Company shareholders have decided to go through with the merger and not take the redemption price payout.
Let's see if those warrants get any interest.
Come on short sellers, I will let mine go for $5 or something.
Just ignore the current price.
Well, with the high borrow fees, I would guess the majority of the retail shorts have had to bail with no movement.
The warrants have not moved above $0.30, so I am not sure the market is even positive about the merger going through.
I still hold some hope because I think the company would have requested the stock to be halted if they intended to dissolve.
The delays killed them, but the recent spike to the level it is at, I am surprised they didn't go to $2-3
I think the vote this week seals the fate either way.
After doing some digging, I feel that the merger is still going to happen. Or rather that some believe it will.
If the vote is yes, I will be buying warrants.
If their was no intention I feel like the company would have informed the exchange when the stock price spiked as it did.
Wash trading by the debtor who converted at $0.06
Then retail comes in and buys and holds and dreams.
The convertible debtholder converted 140 million shares for $10 million loan.
Sell shares at say $0.25 average and their $10 million loan makes them $25 million profit.
When the company wants another $10 million loan the same thing will happen.
Edit: the noteholders still has $40 million left.
Good times ahead.
Sounds like he belongs on an OTC stock.
If he is loading 10m he can save the OTC!
Pretty sure they are going to push through with the merger.
Or rather, it seems like they will, from what they have put out.
Disappointed the warrants never crossed $0.30
I guess no one really wants to take the risk.
Dreams of them being worth $20+
HAHA.
Pretty sure that the 8k that came out today cleared up whether AURC can actually go ahead with the planned merger.
As such, I think the warrants should be worth something.
We shall see if any decent volume hits them tomorrow.
And there you go.
Margin called liquidations brought it back to $55-57
Now if it collapses they cry.
I mean the spike that brought it to $55 earlier was likely some brokerage doing a few forced liquidations. I know a couple of the brokers enforce margin calls at 1pm, so that may be another time to watch.
Was hoping to see some action on the warrants even though I sold out.
Seems like no one cares about those.
Maybe someone reading these posts. Seems like 100k volume on the warrants the last few minutes.
I may have to sell out at $0.05 profit so others can actually see it go somewhere.
Edit: I sold.
Algo contra Komani to be activated momentarily.
