The FAA worked with Baltia every step of the way with mini number 7; and made certain that the doors sealed to be on the safe side; so it stands to reason that the FAA Eastern Michigan's input will have substantial influence in this matter. imo
Our flight crew is great, we won't need to have an evacuation. The stats say airplane crashes are "vanishing". The safest way to travel. How obvious it is that Baltia successfully completed their 7th mini.
If this wasn't serious, the situation we're in would be comedic. It is so obvious. With as many mini's our flight crew has had to perform, Baltia's flight crew is probably the best trained flight crew in the world now.
I want to buy better food and a car newer than 2000 and 1995. Please call Baltia with good news FAA.

YES we are Monroe and Baltia is like the Maytag man waiting for the phone to ring. I think if we have to do another mini, our crew could do it blindfolded at this point.
abimbola read this update because it even states comprehensive fix...and mentions a "repair station"; but doesn't tell us the name of the repair station; but mentions BF Goodrich (vendor) is it their repair station.
lol Monroe1, can we know if there is another company in between Goodrich and Baltia, like the packing service company (maybe I need to read update again....with comprehension!)
And abimbola I think we can use deductive reasoning that Baltia has a good slide now on R1 and we have hundreds of millions of revenue sitting on the tarmac.
abimbola, please re-read the update where it talks about comprehensive inspection.
It is in the update that the internal geometric strap (or whatever they call it) was undetectable to Baltia's comprehensive receiving inspectors and the vendor agreed that the particular item in question is indeed undetectable upon inspection and Baltia or any other air lines wouldn't know about the faulty strap until you attempt to deploy it.
We know Baltia corrected it OBVIOUSLY.
Agree mrlahjr. If somebody incorrectly packaged the faulty slide, that person could have done it so Baltia's comprehensive receiving inspection wouldn't detect it. That is another possibility.

Baltia's mini discovered something huge for safety. It is not just that the geometric strap got tangled because of incorrect packaging, IT'S MORE IMPORTANT THAT even upon INSPECTING THE SLIDES WHEN RECEIVED:

Literally ANYTIME we can get information about the PASS in an instant. After reading Baltia's update; there isn't a reason not to give their crew a "PASS" with flying colors.
The FAA can read, and they are very competent and obviously they too know about the slide packing issue that affects the entire industry and not just Baltia at the moment.
And if they have to do it again, it's a minor 15 second test that at this point the crew could probably do blindfolded.
Baltia needs to begin proving flights and get on with operations. I hope the FAA really understands that Baltia crew did EVERYTHING correctly.

A real 747 with a flight crew having thousands of hours in 747s taking 300 or more souls in a non-stop 8 hour flight to St. Petersburg, Russia.
Think about that. Real pilots have an interest in seeing this pass too. This isn't a hot dog stand. These are some of our bravest people willing to fly with passengers and cargo to our Polkovo airport.
And all we're waiting for is a 15 second mini test. Nothing wrong with the plane which would be much more alarming if we were waiting on something having to do with the planes function. But the avionics and instruments obviously passed the test. It's just a 15 second mini with a stupid slide...that we won't have to use anyways.
After 6 15 second tests the crew could pass the mini blindfolded. This is bureaucratic issue in Baltia's favor.
Our crew is not inept. We have the space in St. Petersburg, ground transportation and cargo agreements are ready, Baltia is hiring 70 people when they get the word. They will be creating almost 100 jobs with the new air lines.
FAA will see this, imo. They sent three pilot crews for recurrent training because they anticipate a giant successful pass from the FAA.

The point is we already knew about it from the Division of corporations in New York. It isn't new news...that is the point.
ihubmoney, I understand. Baltia has completed more than 90% of air carrier certification, they're awaiting something from the DOT about a frequency allocation and they filed audited financial statements and they do not have toxic financing (debt financing).

Why bother spending $12K on audited financial statements if they didn't get the successful mini and are desperate for financing. I think the 506(C) is good enough.
That investor filed a beneficial ownership form for Baltia.
These rumors are nonsense and shorts just wanting to make money attacking the stock, imo.
Baltia told us not to listen to message boards and only listen to them. Today they filed more paperwork to be in compliance with SEC regulations. Further, they can do as many mini's as they want. FAA Eastern Michigan said it's a success.

yak, what in the world is crowd funding, I saw Baltia file a 506(c) to raise capital with accredited investors amounting to 10 million with a minimum 20K investment.
