And some think toxic debt is bad.....WOW.
My picks did well today SMME up 6%, RXSF up 18%, NXTD up 18.5% My portfolio has a nice green day!
I would say, but its more important to see stability than huge price swings.
So far so good, MGT, great business model and necessary customer service!
Hey Hokiehead, you were the 100th post at the new board, and on its FIRST DAY! Congrats!
NXTD up 24% so far and great volume. SMME up 6% as well. These biometric stocks will eventually catch fire!!!
A critical key to success is for some of these companies to engage quality bankers that share their visions and that can fund deals to grow the companies. Biometric and healthcare companies are ripe for these kinds of sophisticated bankers. The market research that especially in healthcare, biometrics is expected to be one of the highest growth areas over the next 5 years.
Excellent article on healthcare and biometrics written by a doctoral candidate in 2013 - he saw the future!

With revenues like that, for sure!!!!! Very much like RXMD, another one of our favorites!
Can anyone name the 7 types of biometric technology used to identify a particular person? Understanding the science is a great way to expand your search for companies in that field.
They seem to have a nice CSM model and great revenues. Just needs some exposure.
ACGX, now watching, thanks for the heads up!
All posters are welcomed here to discuss biometric, healthcare and healthcare tech companies in general. We created a much larger space for more people to discuss these markets, free from threats, criticisms and the typical ones.
FINGB (Stockholm Exchange) is another company in the space, offering scanning components
Great stock play, been in that for a few months.
In fact, other stocks covered here, such as NXTD (A NASDAQ Company) also filed an NT. Its standard operating procedure and allowed by the SEC.
NT allows a publicly traded company a legal extension that is NOT considered LATE by SEC standards. It provides additional time for accounting and legal professionals to make last minute changes. More than 700 public companies filed NT's this week. And now they ALL have until Monday, 5PM, to file their disclosures. After that, they are considered late. Hope that helps.
This is an attack-free stock zone!!!!!
This board is to discuss the markets and companies in general. Any specific issues with a particular company must be addresses at the appropriate board, not here.
Could very well be. Once we know who the banker is, it will tell us how much money they have under management, and what they can actually do. I'm with you, the sooner the better for all of us!
You know on NASDAQ they don't tell you what the deal terms are until AFTER the transaction closes.
Well, Eric Clapton has MANY has after Blind Faith, didn't he. :)
Actually no, Apple was using iWallet until IWAL sent them a cease and desist, now apple uses Apple Wallet, LOL. But I am SURE they want that name badly, LOL
I think its people involved on the wrong side of that deal that got you stressed. I see what the company is doing, and I am CALM!!!!!
NXTD-NEWS, Acquisition-based-

QUESTION OF THE DAY - What public biometric company has raised more than $25M, has been developing its product for over 15 years, and doesn't have a red cent in revenues yet?
NXTD made a deal with "Worldwide" a MLM firm. They announced that deal at a Worldwide convention in front of 20K people and then sent emails to 200K "members". Stock ran from .40 to over $1.60, then subsequently crashed when shareholder realized the $2M Worldwide committed to paying for NXTD's product has to be paid back in the form of "consulting" compensation.................unbelievable, that company used a MLM scheme to hype its stock, and they still trade on NASDAQ.
Watching closely......IWAL, RXMD, NXTD, RXSF, SMME, BIOK, STRT. All interesting in different ways.
Amen brother!
Best to sell now and cut all losses.
ROFLMAO!!!!!! He will need to go to the gym every day!!!
Wait is this a biometric/healthcare board or a MJ/healthcare board.......? One toke over the line will NOT be tolerated here!
I agree, the Q1 is a mandatory disclosure of what happened the first three months of the year. I always look at the "subsequent Events" section to find more current information. May be pretty vanilla.......guess we will see.
Also, keep an eye on SMME, if by CHANCE that company is able to demonstrate a working product, may be a steal at .07
Its always hard to predict, but they have to ask themselves a question, are they buying to hold until the move, or are they buying to help the PPS - ?
Another great security company that is venturing into biometrics is Strattec STRT....you know them, the old Briggs & Stratton company out of Milwaukee, trading on NASDAQ at $52.00/sh ......hmmmm, didn't they have a table next to RXSF at the Sidoti Conference........
Biometrics, especially in healthcare, will be the new med-tech sector over the next 5-10 years IMHO. Lots of progress already made and lots of money to be made by all!
Crap, I forgot about IWAL..........think they are ripe for an acquisition........you never know, CEO was head at Sunglass Hut......sunglasses to biometric wallets.....go figure........probably going dark
A real shame of a biometrics stock is NXTD on NASDAQ. Former gov't talking heads and scientists came up with a real bogus "wallet" thats being hawked through a MLM company, really bad news for us invested there.
I have 25K shares in that company, day and night from other stocks I own. Seems that their technology can now be bought off the shelf to build your own. Unfortunate for shareholders IMHO
