The volume today suggests some conversions of the 2018 debs. I will be glad when it is all behind us. What was the date? May 11th?
T
Geo, you should take a look at AXMIN, symbol in states is AXMIF. They receive a stream from Teranga. Trading at .07 and just earned a penny for year ended 2017. Should see first q results by reading Terangas report out this week. Interesting little play. May be part of the consolidation in Africa that has been floating around. I am on bid but no hits. Trying to build a position before next report.
T
Excellent news, geo. Will have to find a little cash and add to position. Will they be announcing first sales of LW generators?
T
Gold by Christmas!
T
From your lips to God's ears.
T
Thanks, farm. Lots of things to look forward to, imo.
T
What is time frame on the western drilling?
T
I think if you call company they will send out latest financial info available, if interested.
T
Thanks, I will look into tonight. Appreciate new ideas.
T
Unfortunately, same old same old.
Hoping Origin puts something out on timelines. Everyone wants the faster horse so they move on for now.
T
Mov1es, I own HYDI. In fact, bought some soaps and hand sanitizers from them. I think I put link to buy on HYDI board here. Love the product. Hand sanitizer is great. Use a very very small amount and somehow it spreads all over hands. They just need to get into stores where they get noticed. Another website with similar stocks is SAAdvisory.com, https://www.saadvisory.com
There are a couple companies that noname and SA have in common, like QDLC. I have had a lot of positive returns with these obscure companies. Probably because the cheats from Wall Street stay away.
When I was a broker I specialized in small otc companies so it is nice to have a couple good websites to give me ideas. Got any you are excited about?
T
I look forward to the day when the shorts get creamed. Sooner or later the Doc will hit the street with a boatload of buying and we get a huge pop. Until then, the gets set bigger.
T
Yeah, I guess I haven't looked at individual salaries, but shares out has been stable and quite low. And, the valuations are great. As long as they keep making .05-.10 a year I look at it as a savings acct. Eventually something will happen to create the value I expect. There is a similar company, MRCR, Moro, that has been getting a better valuation from the market. I wouldn't mind seeing them combine, but, of course, egos may get in the way of that happening. I have thought about contacting some private equity firms about going after them, but that sounds like work. Plus I am not done accumulating. Take care.
T
Trust me, have my eye on it. Bought awhile ago from a Seeking Alpha article.
T
I would rather it be loans or bonds so there isn't any dilution. Of course, if a product or two hit their strides we won't need anything more. Patience, as usual, is required.
T
True. And, a plan from Origin about their schedule going forward would clarify things.
T
After rereading this, hard to not see the meddling by yet more government officials. Probably why market doesn't care. I guess as long as people there don't mind paying an arm and a leg for oil and gas, the government doesn't care.
T
GC, certainly a surprise reaction from market. Guess they will have to continue to prove worthiness. But, eventually, should be a $1-$3 stock. As always with this stock, patience is required.
T
Now the fun begins.
T
Gold by Christmas 2018. That's my narrative and I'm sticking to it. Well, unless it comes and goes like 2016 and 2017. ;)
T
Someone betting that it gets lifted. Volume an hour in is already 100,000 above average daily volume. What price you looking for if/when it gets lifted?
T
Companies can buy back shares and I hope it would be below book value. However, to buy entire company, aka, take it private, they must go by book value. I suppose if no one complains it might go through. The companies that do the valuation are paid for by the company, so biased by what the company tells them they want to get it at. But, in the 1980's I was involved with a company called Shelter Corp. their parent BorSon Construction tried to take it private, but was sued by a broker working with me. The judge agreed that BorSon must pay at least book value. Happened again in early 2000's with VINT, a Napa Valley vintner. I threatened to sue based on the other case and the bid was raised almost $3 to get above BV. If you can find old insider records for CCOM, you will see one name buying tons. I don't know his relationship to company but my guess is he would not like getting bought below BV. I would love for management to actually do something for shareholders and start buying back stock down here. But they seem happy with their paychecks. I continue to accumulate.
T
We may be looking at the calm before the storm. I think the powers that be are trying to keep stock price from going up above conversion price to mitigate dilution before restructuring. I have been buying small amounts so as to not rock the boat, but I feel this may be last chance at bargain basement prices for GCM. We shall see in a couple weeks.
T
That is the thinking on stockhouse board. Someone has been buying instead of Mimran.
T
Another outstanding day. Huge volume so far. And, as far as I can tell, recent buying has not been David M.
Possible takeover? News? Would love to get nice buyout offer and be able to move some cash to TPRFF before deb consolidation is closed. I think the market will keep stock in this area till possible dilution from conversions is past. Then, off to the races based on fantastic last q and annual.
All in my opinion.
T
Happy Easter, NYBob. And, yes, I think things are going well.
T
Outstanding report. Cash pouring in with debt going down. Way underpriced with the catalyst being the deb restructure. Once that is finalized the confusion will be gone and big money will be investing.
T
ER, Christmas 2018. Bank on it. Good Christmas for all.
T
Nice thing about latest rally is that David Mimran isn't buying. Whether that is because price has moved up or he has inside knowledge of something is yet to be known. Either way, nice that others have discovered the company.
T
Agree with you there, geo. Bought some TGCDF yesterday. Not sure if Mimran has been buying recently or not. Rumor on stockhouse was that they hit a bonanza, so his buying for have to stop until data evaluated and announced. Big volume lately. So if not David, then who???
T
Jim, sorry, can't respond private. Not a member. But, yes, could be company buying back stock. I have emailed them a couple times about buying back stock or going private. To do that they would have to price it at book or more. They could be trying to buy cheap shares well below book now and then announce down the road. Good size bids keep coming in so it could also be the private investor that had a good chunk before they went dark. Lastly, it could be a newsletter or broker that discovered it, but it would seem to have more little buys instead of blocks. So my guess is company has had a couple good quarters and want it to themselves. Hope this helps.
T
This is fantastic news. Will get rid of convertibles, keep outstanding in 40-50 million share range and bring in a little extra cash that they can use to get Marmato started. Some posters that I trust on stockhouse are talking $7 value if this deal is accepted. Very underpriced here.
T
Logical. Pretty much what I had hoped was playing out. The other alternative is Goldman shorting more paper. And, I don't want to think of that. Thanks for info. Nice chart.
T
MM, thanks for info. I continue to see this as a sort of safe haven during these volatile days in the market. Cash is cash.
T
That is a pretty chart. Next move should take out yearly highs.
T
Bobwins, yeah, a big thing going forward will be outcome of lawsuit to collect royalty. Kind of like buying a cumulative preferred that isn't paying currently. You hope it will start paying back divvies but no guarantee. Here, if they collect back royalties, it might be a $5 stock. Worth a gamble. Especially, if management starts to get aggressive on new business and becomes more transparent. Some of my "dark stocks" are waking up. EKCS came out with updated financials and was at .13-.15 for a bit today. I originally bought in low .03's. Where did you hear about QDLC? NoNameStocks or SAAdvisory?
Another one to look into is BWMG. very interesting things going on in past couple months. Deal with L&W Compressors out of Germany and Crowdfunding a new product for the diving industry, Blu3. If the name geodan rings a bell, he is poster that got me involved. He is now on BoD. Very accomplished investor. Time to get ready for Happy Hour. Take care
T
Jesus, geo, I was going to use my one post to talk about a couple 100 baggers but your story of almost choking to death and recovering to pitch the rescuers was inspiring. It also shows the vast uses of the Blu3. Underwater crime scene documenting is incredibly useful. Not sure how you attack that market, maybe police conventions? But, a salesman for Brownies should be all over that market. Coast Guard, police, and any crime scene investigators should have access to these. Outstanding.
T
Thanks for links, Bob.
T
Squeaky wheel gets the oil, I guess. Michael responded to my letter to inform me that a number of items were posted at OTC Markets website. Currently profitable with a large lawsuit regarding owed royalties. From the parts I read, encouraging. Hoping this is the start of a more transparent company.
