Q website has a huge TW banner now.
Orafup, learn how to speak...then we can talk.XO
Skunks, what are you talking about? Just ignore the people attacking you. Let the children be children. We have a number of investors on this board that enjoy reading your posts. I understand where you are coming from though. glty and thanks
Another carrier? I would have to agree since all of the speculation regarding Time Warner came to fruition. I have a feeling that we could see something from Direct TV or Comcast soon. Mainly because Nick Oram had mentioned it and because Frank knows the Comcast people in Seattle etc.
Soon enough other cable providers will have to jump on the bandwagon (To get a piece of the revenue). Original programming is what it is all about IMO.
We have a ton of Longs on this stock and in time it will pay to have invested in this Network. Made for gays by gays with crossover (Not crossdresser) appeal. You can talk or ask about O/S and Audit and other questions that cannot be answered today(rhetorical), but in reality everything that has happened up to this point is amazing(The questions that cannot be answered by Internet users will be answered when the Company feels it is applicable).
I remember not more than a year ago, half the people on the Internet said none of this would ever happen, especially getting on the air. 70 plus employees later and all kinds of recognition coupled with growth and advertising/promotions, one cannot be blind and say it is not happening and it's a scam. glta and don't let the negativity of others bother you.....they are here for other reasons unfortunately. ^v^
Skunks, you never know...we could get a fat merger? That would send the ant hill into a frenzy ! Bam and this thing goes up to 45 cents or so? Ofcourse IMHO
Guy probably works for LOGO and got turned down by QTV. Either way that was his opinion. I'm signing up if made available to me.
Yeppers,
Invest in the Company, not the PPS.
- They keep Hiring.
- They are airing.
- They have PR's regularly.
- They have me as an investor and many others.
Something good will materialize. IMO
P.S. Why would all of these talented people who work for QTV and who have been involved with many amazing things put a Charms wrapper on their heads and let Frank call them a sucker? IMO - it will unfold very nicely and the invetsors in the Company can see this clearly. ^v^
If my memory serves me right.....Some things have been said on the programming that later have been released in a PR. I enjoy reading Skunks posts. Sorry you disagree, use your ignore button. thats all I'm saying
That's awesome Lobo. LOL
Actually econnelle,
Skunks has given great play by play regarding content on the Network. This has only made myself want to sign up for it even more. Skunks is also level headed and does not get all huffed up when attacked. She carries herself well. I find it amusing that grown adults act like 5 year olds sometimes. She talks about QBID as a person would a family member. If you don't like what she puts forth then you individuals should learn how to use the ignore button. Attacking someone and saying childish things makes you look like the kid who got his arse kicked all the time in 4th grade.
Firefight, you and I are in the same boat....Will add Friday if at all near Power4werds statement. glty
That's probably the case Skunks.
Social,
You need a nap. Grab yourself some apple juice and graham crackers.
It is weird, they update "The Sandbox" on the Q website almost daily. Maybe I am the only one who noticed. I look at it everyday and they have new articles regarding gay issues daily.
I wonder what the hold up is with the webite in other areas?
Maybe we find out next month?

Wow, another interesting day. Are the MM's going to backload this to the .0010 mark? I could afford some of that! Let's hope not though. glta
The information was received today from the gay games? I am going to assume that you mean we have Comcast then? Break it down for me Vegas, roll the dice and live on the edge a little will ya ? I broke my Rubix cube when I was 10 because I was frustrated and I have never finished a crossword puzzle in my life. My areas of expertise includes Math and providing money to my wife who has expensive tastes.
Skunks, it will be interesting to know (If ever) who has the deep pockets and helping out the "Q". I would make some assumptions but I don't feel like being harrased today. LOL
"They are actually available now also in the States of Washington and Maine ... broadening their footprint all the time."
-Am I misreading this statement by Vegas? He said the state of washington carries it? What carrier ?
Vegas, who carries it in Seattle ?
I'm sure Frank and Company are more in tune with getting the business side of things rapped up and creating more forward movements (Like they have been doing). I would guess that the PPS is not the prime focus this week. As far as what the MM's are doing.....That is a shot in the dark. ^v^ IMO

I am going to put a quote in here from this article because they refer to Q television network as "QTV".
"Boyer notes that the U.S. routinely waives its immigration restricts for people with HIV for special events like the Gay Games. Boyer said another draw for Chicago is the decision by newly formed gay cable television network QTV to provide live television coverage of the Gay Games for saturation coverage. QTV is waiving its fee for the game by unscrambling its channel to allow any cable TV subscriber to watch the games if their local cable company carries the QTV network, Boyer said."
Thanks Cy, your my dawg ! I member marked ya for the efforts.
tHUNDER, this is true....I was at one of the cellar site today and the evil doers are scratching and clawing at anything. They are even questioning the pics, saying that they are fradulent. LOL - It only confirms that this is a great stock to have in the portfolio L/T. glty
Just interesting information regarding MM's. That's all.

This is from a retired MM not me! This also point out how a stock becomes naked short!!!
Market Maker Speaks Out: Ways of a Market Maker
I was an OTC MM for about 10 years ending in the late 80's. Since then I have been strictly an investor. Since I have not been that up to date in MM rules I will only make statements that I feel fairly confident are still accurate regarding these activities. By and large most MM don't have a clue nor do they care to learn, about the fundamentals of the stocks they trade.
They just try to make orderly markets. When dealing with BB stocks it is very easy for a MM to get trapped into being short in dealing in a fast moving market. Reason being; most of the MM's in this stock are what are called "wholesalers" this means they don't have retail brokers "working" the stocks.
So they have to rely on what's known as the "call" from larger retail houses. If a "Big" retail firm like an E-trade calls up a market maker to purchase say 5,000 shares of a stock, they expect to get an "execution" from that market maker. If he turns them down, or only gives a partial then the "Big" firm will go to another MM.
If this second MM "fills the order" then that "Big" firm has a moral obligation to continue to give future "business" in that stock to that MM who performed (his life blood). This will go on until he "fails" to perform and so on.
Contrary to popular opinion the "Big" firms Do NOT neccessarily go to the "Low Offer" to fill a buy order (Or high bid for a sell). They "Go" to who they think will perform to fill the order and expect that MM to "match" the "low offer" in the case of a buy (bid in the case of a sell). Even though this MM might in fact be the "high bid" and not really want to sell any more.
As a wholesaler he must perform or he will get a reputation as a "non-performer" with the "Big" houses and will cease getting "calls" which means he will soon go out of business. I mentioned above that this activity is very significant to BB stocks. I say this because most of the trades in these BB stocks are "unsolicited" and are done through discount houses.
With the above groundwork laid, let me try to explain how market makers get short even if they like the Company; Lets say that a stock (shell) has been lying quietly at $.25 bid $.50 offered. A limit order comes into one of the MM's to Buy at $.50 for a thousand shares. Prior to this trade that MM may be "flat" (neither long or short any shares). He fills the order and is now short 1,000 shares. He may raise his bid hoping to find a seller to "flatten" out his position. But before he realizes it a wave of buyers have come in and cleared out all the $.50 offers. Now the stock is $.50 bid .75 offered. Here comes that "Big" firm he just sold the 1,000 shares to at .50 with another bid for 1000 at .75. He makes this print. Now he is short 2,000 at an average of .625. The market keeps moving and now its .75 bid 1.00 offered. Now he has to make a decision.
Just like investors, MM Hate to take a loss. So 9 times out of 10 he will now sell 2000 at 1.00 making him short 4000 but with an average .81. At this time he would love to see a seller at .75 so he can cover his short and make a few bucks.
But instead the market keeps moving up. Now it is 1.00 to 1.25 and here comes the buyer again at 1.25. He doesn't want to lose the call so now he needs to sell 4,000 at 1.25 to keep his break even point above the bid. Now he is short 8,000. Market moves up to 1.25 bid 1.50 offer here comes the buyer now he feels he must sell 8000 here because "stocks don't go up forever".
Now he is short 16,000. And so on and so on. If the stock keeps moving up, before he realizes it he could be short 50k or 100k shares (depending how big his bank is). _________________________
Finally the market closes for the day and on paper he may look all right in that his "break even" price may be around the closing price. But now he has to figure out how to entice sellers so he can cover this short. It is important to note that if this happened to one MM it has probably happened to most all of them.
Some ways MM's entice sellers; Run the stock up with a "tight spread" in a fast market, then "open" up the spread to slow down the buying interest. After it has "cooled off" for a little while lower the offer below the last trade right after a small piece trades on the offer then tighten the spread so that the sellers feel they can take a "quick profit" by "hitting the bid" on the tight spread.
Once the selling starts the MM's will walk it down quickly by only making small prints on the way down with the tight spread. Another way is by running the stock up in the morning, averaging up their short then use the above technique to walk it down in the afternoon.
Hopefully after doing this for several days, it will demoralize the buyers. The volume will dry up and the sellers will materialize thinking that the game is over.
Contrary to popular opinion, MM usually Do Not Cover in Fast moving markets either Up or Down if they are short. They Short More. They usually try to cover after the frenzy is out of the market. There are many other techniques they use but the above are the most popular.
This technique works about 9 times out of 10 particularly in a BB market. However that is because 9 out of 10 BB stocks are BS. Remember what I said above. Most MM's don't have a clue as to the value of a Company until they get trapped. If the Company has solid fundementals and a bright future. Then the stock will do very well. And the activity that caused the situation will prove to even help the future stock activity because it created an audience."

It's a damn shame that they can get away with this! Maybe some day this will change? Not in my life time.
Hmmm, I wonder why "Q television network" was in Hawaii?
Out to dinner with family. Ciao and thanks again Zeus and Skunks!!
Skunks/Zeus, I am not a mushroom thanks to the both of you. I cannot wait to get this channel and view my investment that I truly believe in. I keep calling comcast weekly.

Annual Joining Hearts set for fun, fund-raising with popular DJs, performers
By RYAN LEE
Friday, July 22, 2005
Gay Atlanta’s summer party scene, suffering from a club drought that often forces partiers to flee the city’s barren nightlife for more invigorating venues like Gay Days at Disney or Memorial Day Weekend at Pensacola Beach, receives some much-needed hydration with the annual music and revelry at Joining Hearts.
Organizers at Joining Hearts 18, a volunteer organization that produces the annual dance, expect about 1,300 people to pack the Atlanta Civic Center on July 30. Proceeds go to two local non-profits that provide housing assistance for people affected by HIV/AIDS.
Atlanta’s other marquee summer party, the Hotlanta River Expo, folded its operations in 2003 after 25 years. The end of Hotlanta increases anticipation for Joining Hearts, says Patrick Teague, vice chair and marketing chair for Joining Hearts.
“With Hotlanta being gone, there’s pretty much just one game in town now,” says Teague, who added that pre-sale tickets for this year’s event are the highest in its 18-year history.
About 1,000 people attended Joining Hearts in 2004, raising more than $50,000 that was divided evenly between AID Atlanta and Jerusalem House, two charities that are beneficiaries again this year. The event has raised about $630,000 for charities since its inception, organizers said.
Joining Hearts 18 is also generating an increased level of attention from outside metro Atlanta after organizers launched national advertising campaigns in Genre magazine and on the Q Television Network, Teague says.
More than 20 sponsors help produce Joining Hearts, which allows 100 percent of the money raised by ticket sales, along with any money volunteer bartenders receive in tips, to be donated to AID Atlanta and Jerusalem House.
“We always try to be able to give at least 110 percent of what we make at the door to the beneficiaries,” Teague says.
For the first time, Joining Hearts features a live performer to complement the rhythm and beats provided by DJ mixes.
Abigail, a dance floor favorite, is scheduled to belt out “Let the Joy Rise” and other hits feeding her popularity among gay fans. The singer volunteered to perform at Joining Hearts after learning about the purpose of the event, Teague says.
Her performance should offer a new kind of energy for party goers, and her appearance helps create buzz leading up to the party, he adds.
DJ David Knapp, one of Atlanta’s top record-spinners who was voted best local DJ by Southern Voice readers in 2004, again lays down the beats at Joining Hearts, where he regularly keeps the party going and dancers sweating for hours on end.
GQ also named Knapp, who also blesses dance floors in New York and Miami with his hypnotic mixes, one of the six most influential DJs in America in 2000. But he won’t be the only award-winning DJ in town for the full weekend of parties surrounding Joining Hearts 18.
DJ Joe Gauthreaux, a mix master named “Hottest DJ for 2005” by Out, is scheduled to perform at an afterparty at Jungle. His set accompanies a live performance by California-based songstress Janice Robinson.
“The boys in Atlanta are really a lot of fun to play for,” Gauthreaux says.
People wearing a wristband from the Joining Hearts event gain free admission at Jungle, Teague says.
This year, more offshoot parties surround Joining Hearts throughout the weekend than in past years.
At the same time as the Jungle afterparty, Volume Productions presents DJ Scott Anthony spinning hits and a performance by Shawnna Brooks at Club X.
On July 31, Volume hosts a T-Dance with DJ Tracy Young at the Abbey. Beginning at midnight, Club X features DJ Vankhoncrite. Partial proceeds from the two parties are earmarked for Joining Hearts’ fund-raising efforts, organizers say.
But Joining Hearts weekend isn’t only about the parties, especially for the two charities that receive proceeds from the Civic Center event.
“With a change in the [HIV/AIDS] epidemic, there are a lot of people who are homeless,” says Steve Balfour, director of development for AID Atlanta. “Housing is one of the first and most important steps in helping folks stabilize their lives and create a plan for how to take care of themselves.”
The money Joining Hearts donated to Jerusalem House in the past was used to maintain and upgrade the two properties the group oversees, and the annual parties are a significant part of Jerusalem House’s annual fund-raising calendar, says Martha Reich, the organization’s development director.
“It is our summer event, and we are just honored that they have selected Jerusalem House as a beneficiary,” Reich says. “We’re just really enjoying and appreciating this partnership with Joining Hearts.”

Skunks, take hand away from mouth.
This is good !
The MM's could use a good probing! Maybe the aliens could lend the MM's a helping hand.
Thanks Mulder.
Chuckling.
My mother wears Rose colored glasses and she bashed my dad in the arse when she caught him cheating on her. Did not much care for the man myself, served him right to get bashed in the arse. Short story, my mother is a basher.
It's kind of simple if you understand anything regarding how a Company is operated when its literally just starting to come alive. Hell, you can get a good look at a T-bone steak if you insert your head in a Bulls Ass, but I'd rather take the butchers word for it! These redundant questions every body wants answered regarding what you are asking (O/S.Revenue,Fullyreporting,Audit) will be revealed at some point in time when they "Get er Done". "Invest in the Company and not the stock."
It becomes very clear what peoples intents are when they demand answers.
Ofcourse you could say we have Comcast and Direct and the PPS shoots through the roof and people will still say some sarcastic remark like "Hey, when are you going to record sound bites of "Q" and send it through outer space in hopes of reaching martians so they can invest too." Ugh, Finger nails to the chalk board time.
I am very happy with how far this Company has come. It will take time, Not happenin' over nite....no pun intended ^v^
Yes, this would be an intelligent question and I am sure he has time to reply to such a brilliant question. Give me a break. They are running a business and questions like that would obviously be ignored.
Yes, recognition and distribution will push this up in a couple months. I agree with you sirslyQQ
