Chris I know LOL - will be interesting to see how this whole scenario will be presented to us.
Chris that is "possibly" what I am thinking too but of course am not behind closed doors in Sarasota like we all wish we were so I really don't know. After all we're only stockholders who have carried the company for years. This will be a very interesting week starting tomorrow. One thing we can bet on is that existing DNAG share structure is bye-bye. I am guessing some sort of conversion of stock in the buyout and yes it will be a form of R/S. Now we as shareholders have to vote on all this - ha ha. Do you know off top of your head how much share control Sarasota has??? That would be good information.
Ragbagger we have a company with 247MM shares outstanding and a S/P of .048 (much better than ours) going to buy another company with 644MM shares outstanding and a S/P of .0035 - your thoughts on that?? Do we need to watch our backsides here??
Hey Nanobac shareholders WAKE UP!!! There is a little change going on with your company.
Sideem ditto!!! I am surprised at the Nanobac discussion boards being so lame - next to no discussion here!!!! Is everyone sleeping?
TheBigLab I agree. One thing I do know again is that the markets for both companies reacted favorably - at least at this point. And the synergy of the two could be staggering. I will watch for a few days and very possibly make another buy of DNAG before weeks end.
TheBigLab it's hard telling what any target S/P will be at this poing until after buyout. We don't know the structure or terms of the buyout. Will DNAG be a completely independent division with it's own share structure?? Will the existing share structure be integrated into Nanobac's?? Will there be a share conversion ratio?? If there is a share conversion what will it be?? We get 1 share of theirs for 5 or 10 or 15 of ours?? I do know Wallstreet reacted favorable to the news for both companies and at least SOMETHING has happened. But it's too early to tell.
Stocky it's too early to condemn this yet. Both companies had strong double digit gains upon publication of the buyout news. Let's see what the details are.
Brian I wouldn't say that yet. We don't know how this little buyout is going to affect us. I am sure there will be some sort of ratio of their shares to our shares - like a reverse split sort of thing. So let's just keep our fingers crossed.
Hello I am a DNAG stockholder and just read about this very possible aquisition. Any thoughts over her guys. DNAG has needed funding for ahwile now but maybe this will help. Your thought???? I also suggest all here start reading the DNAG IHUB board. It is one of the most active.
Another post.

Looks good, promising and most of all - tremendously PROFITABLE.
Agreed?!!!!!
Time to load the boat - remember Mayo, NASA, China, Finland, Canada (anybody I forgot?).
Here is a post today from the NNBP board. They are as curious as we are. I am going to start posting/questioning on that board to try and get some additional information. God...I hope we don't get screwed here!!!!
Interesting move 4 minutes ago I went to DNAprint website to see what they had to offer. I didnt expect to see what I did. What I found interesting is they have a drug developing section. http://www.dnaprint.com/welcome/products... What this tells me is Nanobac is going to use this company to develop thier pipline drug. What we dont know is when will this start. This is encouraging to see that Nanobac is moving forward which eases my mind tramendously.
PL1 do you think DNAG involved in this as well. The police seemed to have a pretty good overall description of suspect based soley on DNA.
Sam1933 good info but 3 years old and declining share price. The FBI is apparently not buying it at least not in any sizeable quantity.
I know Jever0 - we need all the publicity we can get right now. Although the mainstream press won't do it much I am certain that DNAG's role in this is big-time news within the law enforcement world.
Chiggah you are dead on but....can they hold out that long?
Chiggah that is what I am thinking too. I have always said their forensics division could be a goldmine - even when they spin off pharma.
Chiggah that story is now posted front and center on the Fox News website and yes the DNAG portion was taken out and replaced with this:
Olmos-Alcalde had not previously come up as a possible suspect, Beckner said. He said the DNA was a key piece of evidence leading to the arrest but that investigators used other information, which he declined to disclose.
But we know it is DNAG. Now...why in the hell can't DNAG get a major forensics contract signed?????

Police arrest suspect in 1997 Boulder murder
10-year-old killing of CU student solved, police chief says
By Scott Rochat
Longmont Times-Call
BOULDER — A suspect in the 1997 murder of Susannah Chase has been arrested, Boulder police announced Sunday.
A DNA match out of Wyoming led police to Diego Olmos-Alcalde, 38, who had served time in Wyoming on a kidnapping charge and was wanted for violating his parole. Boulder police learned of the match
just three days ago.
“Obviously, the department is ecstatic over this,” Police Chief Mark Beckner said. “When you solve a case like this, it’s always a great feeling and makes policing worthwhile.”
Olmos-Alcalde is suspected of abducting, raping
and beating 23-year-old University of Colorado student Susannah Chase on Dec. 21, 1997. Chase was beaten with a baseball bat and left in an alley near 18th and Spruce streets, just a block from her home in Boulder. She died the next day.
Boulder and Aurora police arrested Olmos-Alcalde outside his mother’s home in Aurora on Saturday for the parole violation. While incarcerated, he was formally arrested on Sunday morning for the Chase murder.
Chase’s family, in a written statement, thanked the police for their dedication.
“As you might imagine, our emotions have run the gamut since we first heard of the DNA match in Susannah’s case,” the family wrote. “We are delighted that a suspect has been identified and apprehended.”
Bail for Olmos-Alcalde has been set at $5 million.
He is arrested on suspicion of first-degree premeditated murder, first-degree felony murder, second-degree kidnapping and first-degree sexual assault.
Beckner said it still appears that Chase was a randomly chosen victim. There is other evidence besides the DNA, he said, but said it would not be released at this time.
No other people are believed to have been part of the assault, Beckner said.
Olmos-Alcalde is never known to have lived in Boulder, and police are still piecing his movements together, Beckner said. In 2000, Olmos-Alcalde was arrested in Wyoming for kidnapping and was imprisoned until 2007. He broke his parole in October.
Olmos-Alcalde’s DNA was only recently put into the Wyoming database, Beckner said, where it could be matched against other databases.
DNA evidence has been a highly publicized part of the case for some time. Most recently, in 2006, a Florida testing company examined the evidence and said the killer was likely either Hispanic or Native American.
Police said Olmos-Alcalde is originally from Chile. Officers did not yet know whether he was in the country legally or illegally.
“In a lot of ways, we’re just starting this investigation,” Beckner said.
“We just learned this guy’s name three days ago.”
Detective Chuck Heidel, who has been part of the investigation since the beginning, said he was glad to reach this point. This was his first homicide case, he said.
Asked if it was an emotional moment, he said, “It wasn’t until just now.”
“As with other cases like this that we have had, there’ll be a lull,” Heidel said. “We can take a breath and then get ready for prosecution.”
Heidel, along with Detective Jane Harmer and Detective Sgt. Kerry Yamaguchi, were formally thanked by both the chief and the family for their roles in the investigation.
CU officials also released statements thanking the police and the city.
“This announcement of an arrest will hopefully lead to the conviction that will bring some closure to the tragic death of Susannah Chase,” Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Ron Stump said in the university’s release.
“As promised at her memorial, we will continue at CU-Boulder to build, in her memory, a community that strives to eliminate violence in all its forms, but particularly violence against women.”
Police are
Chiggah I hear ya - we'll just keep our fingers crossed and hopefully something will break for the better soon.
But Chiggah let's just hope DNAG can pull this off BEFORE bankruiptcy. We know what they must do BUT will the company hold out????
Jever0 - 50 cents won't happen.
Dmeng I just thought Sam had some kind of inside info - he seems awfully confident!! That was all.
Ditto PL1 - take care.
Well PL1 don't you leave as we need all the optimism we can get here. Good to have you hanging around!!
What I meant was...you LEFT THE MODERATER POSITION. That did sadden me a bit as I do always like the positive posts no matter what they are.
Sam do you have inside information on that? What makes you say that? I personally think the company is going bankrupt.
DNAG not returning phone calls - tanking s/p - no PR's in quite awhile. All indicators point to bankruptcy folks. After this thing burns itself out my penny-stock days are over. I still own GMED which incidentally is going much better than DNAG and NGNM which still has promise.
Fsail52 all indicators are heading in that direction. PL1 and Stockholder 101 have left already jumped ship.
Chris this s/p slide has gone way beyond market conditions. Either they are sliding toward bankruptcy or some sort of restructuring. Either way I am afraid we're going to get screwed. If DNAG makes it to any potential shareholder meeting in June what they have to say will be very interesting.
"They have no choice" is right.
But Dnapwiner where is this all heading?? Will DNAG management let the MM's destroy this stock and the company??
Has anyone bothered to try and contact the company regarding the tanking share price? I have sent 2 e-mails so far with absolutely no response.
Johnny you have your work cut out for you to say the least. PPS seriously tanking once again today.
Has anyone bothered to try and contact the company regarding the tanking share price? I have sent 2 e-mails so far with absolutely no response.
My God even PL1 is jumping off this leaking boat!!
Yah Sam1933 and the S/P is at .003 so you have a very good theory there.
Ptgame they would be substantial but for me right now this PPS deterioration supercedes everything. I am just hoping it's being done on purpose for some glorious heavenly reason. If it's not well then...they company is going under OR it's part of an impending re-structuring of which I hope we survive. I think it's pretty black & white.
Stockboy it's one of the great mysteries of the universe. My recent e-mail to DNAG Investor Relations is still unanswered. Not good.
Ptgame some CURRENT opinion is yes I am in agreement with you. I have always thought that forensics could bring in some substantial monies with the right contracts with the right law enforcement agencies. I just hope they can hold on with this terrible share price slide.
