When TWD got their second license it didn't really move the PPS. Granted it was at the worst time when the entire sector was taking a poop. I'm curious to see how the market reacts this time.
Did I miss something? What happened to yesterdays posts?
The PPS will drop like a rock come Monday, appeal or not.
Lots of people got screwed by Bill.
I regret for the shareholders that this statement is a pipe dream. It's like believing a grey sheet stock will get out of the grey sheets. The chances are undeniably astronomical.
Well the rejection was posted during the weekend. I suspect Monday they will crash very hard. The appeal will do no good as Health Canada is generally pretty rigid in their positions. I don't see how this will end up anything other than a dead penny stock now.
Thanks, I lurked around just had my attention on other things. =)
I will ask politely again. I have zero interest in any conversation with you, please do not engage me. Thank you.
Some highlights:
OBJ:You’re interim CEO right now. How’s the search going for a new boss?
BL: We’re down to the final few candidates. No certainty that we’ll close with one of them … it’s a bit like telecom was in the mid-’90s, where these people with unbelievable careers and resumes and experience were applying to startups. They were all wanting to be part of it because they could see that for the foreseeable future, the telecom startup was going to be hot. We have had people applying who’ve been running companies of a billion, billion and a half dollars. We’ve had people running brands that you would go, ‘Really?’ from all the big names. Because people recognize that probably the most interesting job in Canada or North America over the next three years is going to be building potentially the biggest medical marijuana company, seeing potential legalization with the next election, doing mergers and acquisitions so that this company can become a billion-dollar enterprise. And that could all happen over the next three years.
OBJ:You’ve talked about breaking into the European market. Do you think that will be viable?
BL: Canada has actually crushed it in terms of taking the best perspective and turning it into our legislation on how you produce, deliver, manage, measure – everything about marijuana. So I think you’re going to see our framework largely turning up with some alterations, from the Czech Republic to Albania, South Africa to parts of South America. So the opportunity to take our methods of compliance, our practices and protocols, and if you will franchise those into abandoned factories in other jurisdictions, that seems pretty likely.
Good morning and happy holidays fellow investors.
An update to the Federal case: United States v. Pickard, et. al., No.2:11-CR-0449-KJM

I wish. If Mods do anything about it they get removed or banned.
Abysmal miss. Will reserve further words until conference.
Pretty much. I will always check to see if it's time to take profits. There are also opportunities to play the techs and take some gains to buy back in cheaper. In essence bring your cost down.
BTW guys, we broke above resistance with volume.
Moving all that product in a Q would also confirm my previous thesis as to why they do not report patient numbers. (They don't want to show they have a large hold on the market share). It would require a large number of patients to move so much product.
Jons is the balance that helps ground me at times with Tweed. I appreciate everyone's educated and substantiated opinions, bear or bull. Remember guys, don't marry the stock. Right now Tweed looks like a clear leader of this sector but it can change and we need to be objective enough to recognize that. In the end we need to protect our investment.
Excellent point.
Could be. We will see come Wed.
These run ups into earnings are fun but sometimes worry me. I think we will be fine. Q3 is looking like it will be strong. A company doesn't just go out there with this much excitement gleaming from every person if they didn't have a reason.
Holy shit volume!
Can't argue there.
Hah, middle of week. lol

lol, the internet is a funny place. I try not to assume either way unless I have evidence.
I walked away with 1,000 percent gain from Growlife which I moved 90 percent of here. I bought Growlife in the .02,3,4,5 up to .10. accumulating for a year with some profits of other plays.
That and American Air were my biggest wins last year.
The SEC hit on Growlife destroyed the sector. It was a big shame considering it was no fault of GrowLife's.
Either way I moved on and just as if the Universe was calling to me; Tweed came up on my radar.
I was not implying anything. Simply pointing out what being on the ground floor of an emerging market with a solid brand can do.
If you were trying to "laugh" at me for posting that; there is no reason to be rude even though we are on the interwebs and anonymity is a powerful mistress.
If you were "laughing" with joy; again I was just pointing out what truly being on the ground floor with a strong brand can do. At this point no one can say where Tweed will be in three years, much less 10.
Edit - I should also point out that some of these Penny plays, including what was considered the leader "Growlife" went up 2000 percent on the green rush. Some went up 5,000 in the matter of months with worse share structures.
You've got that steady head working great.
My conservative target for 2015 is 5.00 a share as well but we all know how insane the market can get. I look at other markets that got hot including last year with MJ and (forgive the pun) see green.
BTW - U.S. court challenge to remove MJ from sched. 1 will continue Dec 19th.

Call this what you will but I see Tweed like I saw Dell when I was just a young kid. I was very into technology at a very young age and simply lacked the capital to invest in what I saw as an emerging market that would soon rule the world. I made my first investment when I was 18 years old, by then it was already the late 90's.
http://www.crossingwallstreet.com/archives/2013/02/dell-to-go-private-at-13-65.html
It’s official. Dell is going to be taken private. A group of investors led by Michael Dell will buy the entire firm for $13.65 per share. Interestingly, Microsoft will lend the buyout syndicate $2 billion for the deal.
Let’s look at some numbers: Dell’s IPO was on June 22, 1988 at $8.50. Since then, the stock has split 96-for-1 so that initial price works out to 8.85 cents per share. The buyout price is 154 times the IPO price. At one point in the late-1990s, shares of Dell split 2-for-1 three separate times in less than one year. At one point, Dell split 2-for-1 six times in just over 40 months.
Dell was actually not a screaming success as an IPO. The shares did indeed rally from the IPO price of $8.50 to a high of $12.50 by October 25, 1988 (or 13 cents adjusted for splits). But after that, Dell plunged to an all-time low of $4-5/8 by early 1990 (or 4.8 cents).
Then Dell put on one of the most remarkable runs in the history of capitalism. The shares skyrocketed to an all-time high close of $58.13 on March 22, 2000 ($59.69 intraday). During the decade of the 1990s, Dell advanced 890-fold which works out to 97% per year. Today’s buyout price is 77% below Dell’s high reached 13 years ago.
Yeah, U.S. side just broke above average volume in a big way. It's still small chump change but always good to see movement.
Ask Investor relations. Get in the practice of that. No reason to wonder. They have always been very helpful and responsive to my questions.
By end of business day today. Still 2 hours 45 minutes left.
Still don't know why he/she hangs here. Just to poop on people? Just to be negative? Is he/she a short trying to drive PPS down? Sociopathic? Seriously have no idea why anyone would waste their time.
Glad you said it before I did. lol
or got in because of the end of the waiting list. The big part of the news means that Tweed feels it has enough supply now to meet demand.
Either way, no customers waiting to buy stuff is a good thing.
Waiting to see what the date of Q3 will be. I hope it's earlier in the week. If it is, then I suspect good numbers. If it's later in the week I suspect mediocre or bad numbers. Thur. is U.S. Thanksgiving. The following Friday tends to be slow.
No more waiting lists, registration is fully open.

Does no one read the landing page? I've worked to have such questions answered easily.
TWMJF is an ADR people, stop being lazy and call your broker, read the landing page, Google it, do something other than talk from your butt.
hahaha I was thinking the same thing about the tone.
The guy is a regular basher from that other board.
Hahahahahah oh man. I think you might be in the same boat I am. Too little sleep and too much to do.
Releasing the date of the Q3 is bad? This is not Q3 but the date they will announce it.
LOL, ok I thought I was going crazy. Sometimes the reporting of these emerging market companies can be wonky.
Wasn't that released a few days ago? I see 500 shares traded so far also.
