Periods of silence have been a characteristic of AMMX over the years. I guess they feel it is not worth it to put out marketing pieces for advertising purposes unless they have some kind of sales news to make. On the other hand thys have been criticized for putting out "fluff" pieces in the past that had no real news. So it is a sword that can cut both ways. I am starting to wonder if in the long run it would be better to keep the name of the company out these in the public via "news" releases even if there was nothing significant going on in terms of sales. Who knows, maybe with a little more visibility it would get more attention and attract more customers for the company and for the stock.
Good morning. Looks like nothing new to report on. Does anyone have anything to report on, maybe a communication with Mart etc.?
It's a slow day so far but some 13k volume at this point. I don't really expect much to happen here. The only positive thing I can think of to say is the pps is not crashing quickly, seems to be holding very stubbornly above 0.014
I saw the titles/headlines of articles this morning but could not get them to load, problem with inet of my pc, so I could not read the articles, but I gather they are anticipating or are getting an increase in market share as some oem's are going for the increased performance or capability of the 7 nan chips over the 10 nan chips offered by amd's competition. This increase in performance will make gaming graphics even better than they are now. That is almost unbelieveable as my son is into some games and I have played some WWII games on thee platforms and it unreal how realistic and lifelike characters and scenes look now. Can't imagine how life like things are going to look with the enhanced performance chips.
IMHO this company has got to get the audit done and become fully reporting, then get the heck off of the stinky pinky list. I believe the benefits of doing so are vital to future growth and success of the company, if Lee wants to go big he has got to get this done.
I wish I had a better understanding of why AMD made this big move up in the first place. Look, a few years ago I was better informed about the company. I bought in this time just on gut instinct and watching the rise. I missed out getting in at 20 then I missed out when it got to 25. I bought a small stake at a little over 27. I got a little nervous but I also wanted more shares, I sold and made about a dollar a share. It went under 27 into 26 territory then it quickly rebounded so I bought back in after a bit of a chase and get back in at 27.78. Now I see it's at 27.38. So considering that I bought a larger position and we are 0.40 under my purchase point, I've lost all that I gained and then some. So I am really hoping it rebounds quickly. I read some article that says they thought that $17 a share was a realistic price, which I don't know whether I should believe that or not, I sure hope that's wrong, in light of everyone else is saying 30 or 35.
Maybe, today was not so good for me. Not real bad, but definitely a down day. I really hope I did not make a mistake jumping back in to AMD when I did. Seems like the momo is a downward trend the past 2 days. Also the market is closed but ext trading has it going down further, now 27.29
One hour and 37 minutes til close and not a single trade so far today! Astounding.
I hope that you are right. I don't see why we can't hit $30 even if today we can't seem to cross back over 28... but there is still time left in the day. Keeping my fingers crossed.
You are talking way over my head, I know nothing about options, so I really can't understand or appreciate what you are trying to tell me, but I surmise that you have done pretty well.
Cramer says HOLD. BUT, I saw one article claiming AMD is over priced, but that is just one nay sayer. AMD bringing 7 nan chip to market, will be one generation ahead of Intel. IBM claims a 3 nan chip , BUT can they really make it and will it be market viable? The costs and technical challenges in manufacturing are formidable. So the 7 nan chip is positioned very well to dominate the market.
You can request it but I'd be willing to bet you won't get answers. Zero volume so far today,
Not looking so good so far today, but maybe it will rally late and retrace.
I was in this a few years ago, why has this gotten so cheap? Last time I was in we were about 8 bucks a share, now we are looking at a buck? WTF happened?
I think cracks are starting to appear in the dam
Well, honestly, I am pleasantly surprised at the resistance to sink lower. Right now I see this as a race against time, what's going to happen first, collapse of price or some big event that is going to put us back on the rise.
I'm sitting on the sidelines with cash to put back in. Right now I'm fooling around with a big tech stock that is doing pretty well and I've made a little coin with it so far.
Well, I kind of did. I read the tea ;eaves on the way down and sold most of my position in order to save what I could in cash before it all got wiped out again. I'm still holding a position and the average is way under what it used to be, I had averaged down to 0.015, but even that now is in jeopardy. You had quipped one day about us going back sub penny, it took a few days and watching the slide I thought you just could be right. I did get some benefit out of the big rise, I did manage to pull out enough to get a big AC unit for the house and a replacement lawn tractor-used- but still not real cheap.
Hey, today's posted news piece about the product Athlon processors etc is really very good. A real step up in performance capability. We will do very well here.
How appropriate.....sorry for being so skeptical and jaded. I'm just depressed. We were looking so good after the demo. We have so much potential but we've lost all of our gains, now worth less than half of the 0.0358 mark we hit what less than 2 months ago. It's a damn shame.
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice , shame on me, but now it's fool me three times......
Did someone let the smoke out at AMD? we seem to be pulling back for some unknown reason.
But we are used to double speak by now aren't we? Another thing you posted about the audit, that it should take 3-6 weeks depending upon the quality of the accounting etc and book keeping. How many bean counters have we seen come and go, and now we have a full time CFO. I can't help it but to think of how many ways can you put lipstick on a pig? Maybe that's unfair, but, there have been numerous attempts at this and numerous people involved and lots of money spent allegedly. So I don't think it is unreasonable for us to ask a valid question of WHAT IS THE BIG PROBLEM here with the books?
Good morning. Sorry but my attention is somewhere else. AMMX is like watching the grass grow. Unfortunately, someone cut the grass recently, so, I think it's going to take a long time before we see any strong gains here, but there is always hope and we should not despair, AMMX will get there. Personally, I think AMMX's biggest problem is that there isn't a large enough investor base. They measure investors in the hundreds, we need it to be in the thousands. I also wonder if it might not be a bad idea for AMMX to start buying back shares and then restructure the SS. A billion shares is an awful lot for such a small company.
Well, I'm back in at 27.78, I was chasing it, ha to try 4 times, I hope I did the right thing. The revised target went to 35 by one entity, and the fall back is still 30. I just wonder how they are going to fair with the 7 nan chip once IBM starts getting their new 3 nan chip to market.
I wish we knew who bought it. It's a good thing regardless and maybe once deployed in the field it will get some attention and perhaps interest for more sales. Now about what you were saying to nebula. There is not enough transparency at AMMX. We don't know what officers are getting paid or the BOD etc. With out audited financials we can not dispense with speculations that are detrimental to the company. Some have suspected that Lee was not keeping personal and business items separate, indeed one friend suspected Lee was using AMMX as his personal piggy bank and that company shares or restricted shares were being sold to finance his business trips to foreign lands that included things like going on safari and big game hunting. Now those are pretty wild speculations and accusations, but, without there being proper accountability/transparency it is difficult to refute such things. Now as far as I know the SS has been very stable for quite some time and there have been no trips to other continents etc. I no longer keep up with the SS on a regular basis and perhaps it's worth another peek, but in the past the SS has been pretty stable with some mi9nor and or acceptable level of fluctuation in the restricted share count. I am in no way trying to smear AMMX or Lee, just trying to make a point for the need of the audited financials.
I saw s going slowly but surely down today so I bailed to preserve almost a dollar per share gain after coms and fee's. I watched the after market move up last night to 29 something and was alarmed at the drop to 26 something this morning, I was glad to see the recovery. I see that BOA has placed a target or evaluation on the stock at 35 per share, I hope I can buy back in in the early trading tomorrow morning somewhere between 27 and 28. Long term chart says we are over bought but 10 day chart says we are ok, I am concerned about the MACD chart though.
Good day to you. I quickly read the news. The part that I find most encouraging is the sale of the ASV vehicle. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the ASV one of the types featured in the Demo's?
Thanks for your reply, I know how you feel and I know what you mean, as for it going to 40, let's hope so.
Well, I bought some shares a little while ago and it's been fun and exciting watching my money grow by the minute for a change. I do think we will hit 28 maybe a little over by the end of the day. I think 30 by Friday close is a very real possibility. DO you think it will top out there or are we going to see this continue to surge upwards???
1:01pm and still no volume, ask now 0.0146, bid 0.0138 spread 0.008. All I can say is that I bought a small stake in a Tech company a little while ago and it is on the move, it's been fun watching my money grow by the minute. I only wish I bought more.
You said 20 Billion Shares is the A/S??? Oh my, this will never get anywhere with a SS like that. Thanks for the info, I think I'll bet on something else.
Market has been open for almost 2 hours, AMMX no volume, no news, We saw one MM come down on the ASK to undercut OTCX, the ask is 0.0148, OTCX is at 0.0151, the top Bid is at 0.0138. The spread is 0.0013. We again are having a Mexican Standoff.
Is this the company that had or has a little bed and breakfast place in CO, where people can basically have a safe place to get stoned all day? The menu includes mj edibles, enjoy mj drinks and because of CO law smoke to their hearts content? Also what is the share structure and why is the stock doing so poorly? I'm tempted to buy some shares , take a gamble maybe if this company is actually legit, Please correct me if I am wrong but I didn't see anything that would indicate that they are growing any MJ.
Has the company discussed what kind of revenue streams it hopes to have with this game? Are they expecting rev's other than the purchase price of the game or what ever fee there is for using it? It says it will be a gambling application, so are they expecting a commission, a percentage of winnings, you know, a piece of the action? Or do they have another scheme to monetize it via paid advertising to the customers, perhaps marketing other games such as those made for Play Station etc and other products?
Good Morning, I'm here, been here for a while. Hope everybody had a good holiday. No news so far. We'll see what happens this week.
Free Nebula, I wish I had a name to call you like John or Joe, here we go partial disclosure, my name is Paul...there you go Boom, first time I have revealed that I think, I got used to being called Born, and I liked ot as I really liked the Bourne Identity movies. Ok all that aside, I am right there with you brother. FALL, Winter and Spring, that's our best times to see things move with AMMX and equipment stuff, Now if AMMX were bigger they could have made a killing renting machinery that would be useful in cleaning up and rebuilding in the aftermath of the Hurricanes, Tornados and floods that did so much damage here in the USA like Houston Texas. There is a very large equipment rental company (united) that has done very well for that very reason, I know this because my best friend for life told me he invested in it and was making a killing. He had also invested heavily in gypsum companies (companies that make dry wall, he also invested in 2 or 3 big nationwide chain retail stores that specialize in building materials, plumbing and lighting etc. Smart man my friend. But I don't know if Lee has any interest in trying to take a piece of that market. Although Lee has some rental business that has to do with agriculture and maybe some road construction type stuff I think he is really pretty focused and stuck on the shipping business i.e. the big forklifts and container handlers. I think he should expand the fleet with more utility type equipment like dozers, backhoes, cranes, graders dump trucks and things like that that have a wider range of utility or uses, but that's my opinion.
Rob Lowe? The singer/actor? no. ? Oh I seem to recall there was a name like that involved with DNAD wasn't there. I don't know. Is he still involved? Good question, can't answer off the top of my head, we'd have to look a few things up with respect to DNAD. Full disclosure here, I was looking to maybe get back in with a small position just purely on the speculation. IMHO. speculation and hype drive this company and stock. I don't think we can point to them having any significant commercial success. I do recognize that they did have or still do have a product. The product has been some game apps, that I think were more popular in Europe than in the USA and North and South American continents, But I don't think any of them were really big and popular. The Match Skillz sounds interesting, but I don't know much about it. Maybe someone can fill us in more about that. I do not know if this is a gambling type game or some kind of RPG, whether it is a team game or head to head or even man vs machine.
As an outsider, reading some posts, it seems there is some great hope of launching this in time for the start of the NFL. So maybe it's kind of a fantasy football league kind of game, don't know. I just know that as far as I am concerned the launch is already too late and I see no promotion of it, but maybe that doesn't matter, maybe being launched once official league play is just fine and the promo's will go along as advertisements with the NFL games,BUT that takes A HUGE SUM of money.... I don't think they have it and can afford NFL advertising rates.
Closing time, someone capitulated and OTCX was able to pick up shares at 0.0143, then quickly jumped on the ask with 126,000 shares at 0.015! He seems to be working on very minor margins. With Finra fees at 0.00119 plus the trade cost and whatever else I don't see how he is making any money at this. This has also had the effect of everything else on the ask moving down about 0.001 or more. It will be very interesting trading next week if this is any indication. Get your cash ready. and be prepared to accumulate and average down, that's my best guess, barring any material news from AMMX. Have a good weekend and Holiday Monday.
3:19 est and eveything is same same.
Hmmm, but no word of any kind of agreement, contractual relationship, etc. venture capital for advertising, what? Could be, I suppose.
