I'm happy to say that we'll be able to take a vacation from the charts during the next 3-6 weeks.
The PPS will be catalyst-driven and not chart-driven during that period.
More telling if it holds into and through tomorrow.
Up until now these spikes have not had much staying power.
That will likely change as we get closer to the milestone dates.
We're getting closer. :)
I couldn't agree more.
We're stuck in a trading range between 0.50 and 0.55 until substantive news of some sort is released.
Still, not a bad level to blast off from. :)
In my opinion, Keytruda has been the target from day one.
It makes the most sense, for many, many reasons.
The first of which, is, Dr. Pierce.
Well said, Fur.
I believe we'll start to see a run-up after the Thanksgiving weekend.
Until then it's just a waiting game unless we see a significant surprise.
Can you say "coiled spring?" :)
That was my big takeaway from this PR as well.
All is well. It's all good, folks! :)
I believe the "real" run-up, if one is to occur this year, will begin right after Thanksgiving. Hang tight.
Just my opinion.
TMI.
That's how the game is rigged.
Is it possible to get L3 access without being a MM yourself?
Unlikely.
I'd be willing to bet that most of the shares sold short are illegal naked shorts and shares will never be delivered. The SEC simply doesn't enforce the rules against naked shorts, plain and simple. That's how the MMs control the price for their own benefit.
And look at it this way. Who in their right mind would be shorting with all of the catalysts lined up at year-end? It's the MMs that are likely doing all of the shorting, for the aforementioned reasons.
Yep. Agreed.
"They" are not done accumulating (yet).
One can't ignore the catalysts, but we may not see our best run until early next year.
Has to be mostly naked shorting by the MMs, don't you think?
Setting themselves up to walk it down into the .40s again before they cover?
Fur--you may be in luck!
Unless the monotherapy is best-in-class or represents a substantial improvement of the SOC, it will need to be part of a combination therapy.
That's not only the future, it's the "now."
Thanks for the explanation. I understand Sal.
In order to maximize the PPS, shouldn't we already be seeing some SA articles by now? Does Acorn do any of that or is it simply independent writers?
Hint: (Fur, time for another article? Well timed?)
If that is the case, where are the articles?
IF that premise is true, and a partnership is to happen this year, then the SA articles should be coming out this month, at the very latest, right Sal?
Otherwise, we're looking at a partnership next year. But Fur believes that if it doesn't happen in December, it won't happen at all (at least not soon), right Fur?
I'm keeping with my earlier prediction of a December 11th date for a partnership announcement. After all, we're all just guessing, right? :)
The PPS will not be sustainable without a partnership, IMHO, as it will force ONCS to dilute again at some point.
Since the MMs have almost all of the power, I believe they could and very well may suppress the stock price into next year (unless a partnership is announced this year).
A partnership announcement is really the only event where we will see a spike in the PPS and a follow-on sustainable level much higher than where we are now.
So, to me, it's all about partnership, and not much else.
C'mon Merck, make it happen!
Pure manipulation.
And also blatantly illegal unless shares are delivered within 3 days.
Statistics and Heuristics.
The former is better for understanding the results of clinical trials.
The latter is better for predicting resulting share price.
"Lies, damn lies, and statistics..."

My post said "well north of $1B." :)
Many people expect an eventual buyout in the $3-5 PPS range. It all depends "when" the buyout occurs. Sooner is cheaper. Later is more expensive.
Agreed.
A buyout now would be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
But a buyout after a successful P2b trial would likely be well north of a billion dollars.
Everything is on the table right now. The next two months will very interesting and exciting, to be sure.
I hope they are exhilarating!
Love the Frankenstein analogy. LOL.
If ONCS management were on the top of their game, they would have planned for a specific set and order of PRs leading up to the data release in December. That way, as has been previously posted, they would maximize the run-up prior to the release of data and the follow-on partnership announcement.
IF the stars align, and IF the data is all good, and IF we get a partnership, ONCS will most assuredly be trading north of $1 by EOY. There can be no doubt about it, should all of those conditions be met.
And IF the partnership is a great one, expect the PPS to approach $1.50 by EOY, perhaps even higher.
Less than two months to go, folks. Stay patient and thirsty!
Go ONCS!
Very well said.
There are absolutely no guarantees with ONCS' milestones or their timeline, but there is a high confidence level in them.
That is why I am willing to stay invested beyond December if they don't meet all of their dates. Either you believe in the technology and the results to date, or you don't.
Stay thirsty my fellow ONCS'ers...
Relax people.
No disrespect to Fur, but his actions will only have minimal effects (if any) and would only last for a day or two, at most.
This is just one person trading 100K shares out of a float of over 200M shares! (And I know the current average trading volume is only about 600K per day, but that's only temporary.)
At the end of the day, it's the PPS at the end of the year which only matters for most of us (or when the big catalysts hit).
Relax, and spend your energy worrying about something else more important in your lives...
I see that some of us grew up in the same timeframe? :)
That show scared the sheet of of me when I was a kid:
"There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your television set. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to – The Outer Limits."
Actually, that reference should go to the market makers. :)
Yes, Fur controls the market now.
He is our own personal ONCS market maker. We must do as Fur says when he says it. He controls the vertical; he controls the horizontal. :)
November could actually be a very quiet month and this could be a brilliant move if we move to the mid .40s or below. But it is also somewhat risky, as no one outside of insiders have access to perfect information. We could pop much higher on any given day with a "surprise" announcement.
Regardless, patience ONCS grasshoppers and stay thirsty...
GO ONCS!
Fur, flipping? Blasphemy!
Say it isn't so, Fur!
Depending on macro market conditions and other factors, I "might" be inclined to hold about a month longer than EOY.
But, realistically, if he means EOY I expect a deal to get done and PR'd before December 15th. That's why I came up with the arbitrary date of December 11th for us to "get rich" this year.
I sincerely hope it happens and we all can cash in on this opportunity.
November, December and January are stronger than any other three month period. Since 1928 those months have nearly doubled the performance of any other period.
Punit better deliver the goods during the next three months. Otherwise, the opportunity cost of holding ONCS will be unbearable to many.
Relax, chill out, and enjoy the ride.
You'll soon be rich. :)
Why December 11th?
Because it's an arbitrary guess at a date.
Something that we've seen over and over and over again on this forum.
And besides, it's an early Christmas present to all of us! :)
I would rather hit the ball out of the park with the bases full rather than with them empty.
Punit will hit a grand slam on December 11th.
We just need macro conditions to cooperate as well to maximize share price appreciation before EOY.
And holding!
Literally and figuratively!
Let's technically move to the mid .50s next week before any catalysts hit!
There must be a way to inform the entity maintaining the list about ONCS' upcoming milestones?
Nice. The first in a string of increasingly important PRs.
Let's get the low-hanging fruit out there first.
We "should" be above .50 by EOW.
I believe that BIG news is afoot.
I believe this because we're running out of time for an orderly and timely completion of all the milestones (individually) in this calendar year. (Fur--you made reference earlier that you thought that some of the milestones might be combined.)
Something BIG is going to happen before EOY and I believe it's going to be very good for cancer patients and shareholders.
I agree with you for the most part, but Inovio is concentrating on BOTH vaccines AND cancers.
Other than Dr. Pierce, Avtar Dhillon (M.D.) might be the most important person "in the know" about ONCS.
