Thanks for the info Truth, I hope he's right.
Unless it is a new rule, that is not the case. Kim has put a pr out the day before it was made publicly effective. Which means that he gets the word before it is made public.
That's because Kim filed another one this morning.
jk
You are expecting too much m4n, after all,Kim did just update us on July 30, 2014.
"If he doesn't say anything after this S-1a (if it ever gets done) this is done for me."
I'm pretty sure Kim will say something after this quiet period, it is the content of what is said that will probably be the determining factor for most investors as whether or not to sell. If it is a typical pr of his, with little or no substance, that may be my breaking point.
Thank you
Spill, is this in response to an email to IR?
Not at all. I just didn't expect to see much of anything new on this 10K.
Pretty much sums it up.....SSD10K
Didn't expect anything anyway.
Thanks, but is that a yes or no to my question?
Then why is the 94M contract with warwick listed as public info on the DoD site?
Does anyone know if Warwick were to have a govt contract, let's say to make x # pair of underwear, would that info have to be publicly available?
I'm not surprised at all.
I really don't understand why anyone contacts Ben for any reason. He doesn't seem to have a clue.....just pulls $hit out of his arse to get the shareholders off his back.
Hasn't the investor relations website been down since at least November 2nd? Or had it been up and running again? That was discussed on the board back then. ImjinBridger brought it up on 11/2 in post 83383.
I've got to agree with some.....it sure is fishy that we haven't seen a "notice of effectiveness" by now, and I don't believe for one second that thanksgiving has anything to do with it. Not sure if Kim can have that delayed or not by telling the sec that he might have to amend it, but if he can, it could be for a good reason.....or it could be for a bad reason.
08/01/11 S-1 filed
08/08/11 PR
08/09/11 S-1 Amended
08/12/11 S-1 Effective
Maybe a PR any day
I'm far from an expert on S-1's and quiet periods, but I was under the impression that we were automatically in a quiet period when we filed an S-1 and still in quiet period until it is declared effective. I only came to that understanding from other posters on this board. Either I misunderstood, or it was bad information. In 2011 kblb filed a S-1, and before it was declared effective there was a pr.
Now that that myth is busted, are we even in a quiet period?
Bob, the last two took 11 days. If history repeats, it should be effective this Friday, and hopefully news on Monday.
Maybe Kim decided that he didn't need 2 websites anymore.
Just a hunch banana, but I think beacham may have been asking you what the content of Bens email was.
I agree with you Jay. If after all these weeks of silence we get a fluff pr that can be translated 6 different ways, it's time to run and not look back.
A new Ferrari?
Around this time last year I was sure that a year from then that the share price would be at least .25 . There seemed to be a lot of positive things happening. It's pretty hard to fathom that the share price is less now than it was then.
Actually, Money4nuttin revealed it a couple of weeks ago, twice in one day. For some reason it was getting deleted minutes after it was posted.
Good post.....2 weeks ago now.
Unfortunately, people on this board have made good points about it being a waste of time to contact Ben.
Well Johnny, the defense already rested their case on that topic, and I don't believe he can be tried twice for the same crime.
"I could easily be wrong..."
I feel we've made some tremendous progress!
The same can then be said for EVERYTHING Ben says. So why talk to him at all?
You think we have commercial quantities?
That would mean Ben either lied to me or he has no clue.
Thanks Yank,
Then it appears to be a different problem with Monster Silk that we have not been told about.....that is somewhat disturbing.
On August 6 I emailed Ben asking if a new projection for commercial quantities has been made, or if mid-2014 was still possible.
His response was "I'm not sure where that quest stands. I'm quite sure that the company will announce that milestone the moment it happens."
The response was August 7.
Susie told you this?
Obviously there were/are some major problems. Hopefully they have been overcome, but for Kim to say possibly as early as January, and here we are in mid august with nada. My impression of Kim is that he wouldn't say that unless he was pretty darn sure he could do it. That spells trouble.
I wonder, could Kims definition of mid 2014 be January 2 thru December 30?
Anyone that thinks we have tonnage without an announcement is wrong. I got an email response from Ben almost 1 1/2 weeks ago telling me that he's sure that that milestone will be announced the moment it is reached.
Good to hear......thanks for posting it
And to shorten what you just confirmed of me being correct, you agreed with me.
In other words, the pr should have read: Our largest production run ever, which was recently completed, was unsuccessful because of fiber inconsistencies...
This was not good news in the least. Of course I will add.....IMHO
I guess the advertisement didn't get attached with the article.
Article from earlier this year (about Amsilk), but interesting that WM advertised Turtleskin gloves on it.

"This statement brings into question the quality and uniformity of the fiber being produced. "
A major concern of mine from the start. Until monster silk is proven capable of being mass produced(uniformly), this investment is a coin toss.
The reason we hadn't heard anything about big red......nothing good to report.
