My 2 cents... there have been many conversations - both public and private - about the stock price and what direction we are heading. I have seen questions like:
When is the next PR going to be released?
What is a good entry point?
What is a good exit point?
What do you think the price will be on xx/xx?
How many shares does ____ have?
Any answers to these questions are pure speculation by everyone on this board, myself included. For all investors - do your own due diligence and buy/sell according to your own plan, not somebody else's. At the end of the day, you are the only one in control of your own portfolio.
That being said, and because it is topic of conversation, I will answer many people at once and let the board know where I stand. Every morning I walk my dog and it gives me some time to think about the day ahead - investments and otherwise. This morning, I asked myself the question: "would I rather have 1,000,000 shares of ICPA or $100,000 cash in hand?" No brainer. Give me the shares. Obviously the cash would be the sure thing, but I see IC Places' potential here to be a great company going forward involved in so many aspects of media. IC Places is not branding itself on only one idea, but rather building a spider web of great ideas that all coincide with one another. It is staggering the number of revenue-producing ideas that are being put in to place as we speak.
Agree or disagree, I don't care. Those are my opinions for the short term. As far as the long term goes... well, I think anyone holding long term is going to be rewarded more than we can imagine. I have not sold a single share yet, and have been accumulating shares every month since January.

You've got it my friend. Go Hawks!
Welcome to the board. Lots of great info about IC Places and where the company is heading. Read up and you will find there is a lot to like here. Your dad sounds like a wise man...

10 cents is a good start...
Great buying opportunity now!
Great first post... Welcome to the board!
The Business Journal is legit. Lots of people in the business subscribe to both the newspaper version and the online content. It is a weekly subscription, so better content and only a once per week read. I used to have my own down in Phoenix, now our office has one.
Great exposure for IC Places!
Good to see you back here.
Why does that even matter right now? Nobody outside of the directors of IC Places knows for certain the deals we have in place. I believe there is much more going on behind the scenes than we have been made aware of to this point.
Do some homework. Other posters have basically created the "cliff notes" to all the due diligence in the world. Read it for yourself. Any finite answer to any reasonable question someone asks is here if you want to find it.
It will be another Festivus miracle!
ICPA
There will be multiple PRs in the near future that explain what direction IC Places is going. Some news will be bigger than others, but it is all coming together to form a bigger picture than we could have imagined.
The board stickies and DD alone justify owning a substantial position in ICPA.
And welcome to the board!
Steve was right - with the sunglasses, Jay really does look like Robert Downey Jr!
Great update warrior. Thank you!

As of Jan 1st every share, or lot of shares, you buy is tracked by your broker - called specific share identification. When you sell your shares, you choose which ones to sell in order to gain the most tax benefit.
The 12 month clock for long term capital gains starts over with every lot you buy on the day you buy those shares, but does not effect your previous share purchases.
For example, in the same taxable brokerage account you purchased 100,000 shares on June 1st and another 100,000 shares today. Anytime after June 1st of next year you can sell those original 100,000 shares at a long term capital gain (hopefully a substantial one). The shares bought today would be short term until 12 months from now. If the Bush Tax Cuts expire Dec 31st, we could be paying north of 29% in long term capital gains tax. If they are extended, which many think will happen, the rate will be closer to the 15% long term cap gains rate that we see in 2012.
I am not a tax professional, so talk to yours if you have further questions.
Lots of pieces to this large puzzle. IC Places is becoming a media conglomerate, and we are on the bottom floor of investing.
Well put Ann1!
What do you mean by "we"?
I don't have any doubts going forward. Not on the necessary SEC filings, which were even early this quarter, or about any revenue stream and each one's profitability.
So please, do not include myself in the group that is concerned with IC Places' progress going forward. "We" are going to be just fine.

Agreed Rainmaker. As the (in)famous Cremer would say... BUY BUY BUY!
Looks like a nice gap up tomorrow. I'm sure the monthly options will be running too.
If Google does go to trial, is it still set for 10/16/12?
Thanks Mike2OO5.
Nice amount of cash on hand...
Ask them.
Lots of good recent DD in the stickies - especially organic2's and warrior_king's (with pictures, for the kids). Perchy posts A LOT here, and his history is littered with good links and quotes from the CEO about current happenings.
Spread the good word. We go up from here.

Welcome to the board MissyL. Your DD will pay off in the coming weeks/months/quarters.

That was a 16.7mm buy. Someone knows where we are headed...
20mm+ volume today = shares in stronger hands
Surprisingly, we're not far from a green close.
Read the 10Q. No dumping here.
10 minutes of reading up on the company and it's recent partnerships will answer that question.
Know what you're investing in.
I don't understand your post. Is this a question? Directed at me?
We don't need another press release right now, at least another one from IC Places. CVDN will release news when they have their ducks in a row. Have you seen their website? That company has MANY new business partners, not just IC Places. Multiple moving parts.
ICPA doesn't need a PR every day or every week to be successful. The Q2 was good - let the market absorb the news and increase the price by buying more shares.
Things will happen when they happen. Anyone holding for the long term isn't holding their breath for the next PR to hit.
Fortunately, for ICPA shareholders, our CEO is running the business with his own money. Steve has put in more than $80,000 of his own money to pay for items instead of selling shares or diluting. This $80,000 does not include SelfHelpCenters.com, which he sold the website and all intellectual property to IC Places for $1.
Obviously Joseph Collins also believes the share price is way undervalued right now because he decided to sell Punch TV to IC Places (then valued at $10mm) for restricted shares of stock. A big win/win.
Why does it matter what specific day the Qs come out? All that matters is that they are on time - which they have been, every quarter.
Do your due diligence, read the stickies, and decide for yourself. If you think so, we will welcome new shareholders with open arms.
Welcome to the board.
Thanks Diane - just trying to keep things in perspective for the newbies.
Good morning shareholders! This should be a definitive week for the direction the stock price will go in the future. Q2 financials will be out this week (possibly Wednesday) that will be a significant increase from the $9,000 in revenue from Q1. Most revenue dollars will not be on the books yet, so don't expect millions on our bottom line as of 06/30/12.
If we get unexpected news about anything else it could really make the PPS jump, but I am not anticipating much until Punch TV starts up in the fall. The CVDN piece will play out when it does. Uplisting to the OTCQX will happen soon, but we do not know the time frame. Again, let's control the things we can control.

Not a lame board, just doesn't have many followers yet! No, I'm not in KMAG. All of my penny stock money is tied up in ICPA. However, I did buy some Nov12 calls on VRNG. They are supposed to be settling with GOOG and others on pattent infringment. Court date is 10/16/12 and they could settle before. Take a look, it might be worth a flier.
I'm still in Madison. Haven't made it down to the Fort yet. And my trialer hitch is a "Jeep" one, but my license plate sure does represent!

If you own shares in a margin account...READ THIS
If your shares are in a margin account, place a GTC order on them - somewhere between .10 and .25, or higher if possible. If your margin shares have a GTC order placed, they cannot be borrowed for others to short.

Thank you for sharing my point...
It seems like as soon as we get news or an update from IC Places, we jump to "what's next?!" And if that "next" thing isn't a billion dollar contract that will show on the Quarterly report yesterday then people think the company is falling apart and the CEO is lying to us.
Take it easy folks. Steve said this is truly a long term investment and takes pride in the fact that flippers will be bored to death and move on. If you are invested for the right reasons, then expect the next item to hit the news wires will be the Q2 next week. If we get something in the meantime (i.e. Punch TV is now in Houston!) then it is just gravy on top.
I was the wise crack
Thanks for sharing that email with us Perchy. It's good to hear that Steve is controlling what he can control and not worrying about the rest. I would be very concerned if he was making decisions based on the day-to-day share price fluctuations. He and Joseph have a plan - now we just have to be patient for it to come to fruition.
