why is single digits in quotes?
First off, http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/sublingual. Unless that definition is wrong I would say the drops count. Clearly 2 ounces will not be absorbed under the tongue. Kind of like most vitamins that people take end up in the urine. Only very small molecules (glucose, steroids, some vitamins etc) can be absorbed there. For instance, caffeine works very well. Finally, enjoying the ride, and good day to all.
i actually tripped over someones foot on my way to my computer to buy some stock.
Why are you concerned with his ethnicity?
this fish is going to get eaten by a bigger fish.
Why did you capitalize "Guy"?
retracted. looks great. cant wait for them to start selling. York, any chance you want to get me a job with Fuse?
i am with you on this one. that is some amateur looking packaging. it looks just like a travel sized shampoo with a Fuse sticker on it.
that is great to hear. i should have added in there somewhere that i am glad the product actually works.
who cares what he is using? all he is is a face and a name to increase recognition of the product. this is not an ethical discussion. nothing he uses is going to make him a better athlete. he has always been a freak of nature. neither enerjel nor the drops will have any impact on that. its marketing brother. pure and simple. also, we do not know he does not use enerjel. i am sure his knee hurts plenty. either way, Fuse should use its biggest marketable item as often as possible. no sense in wasting whatever compensation he is getting.
hes a spokesperson for the company. not for a product. just because the company is waiting to throw him behind their main product (the drops) does not mean he is not "powered by fuse."
check out post 1324
been in for 2 months now. the company is on to something lucrative. the problem is they are having issues with the company they liscense the tech from.
point number 5: LSD, nitroglycerin, plenty of narcotics, and migrane medication are all available in either sublingual or buccal formulations.
other than that, great post. keep up the good work.
as i am not the accountant for the company, nor do i have extra millions to give away, nothing. any suggestions?
wish i could, but then i would own the company instead of the tiny part i do hold. it really is a great and important piece of technology. honestly, even if RGIN does get screwed, I hope it continues to move forward.
not if they don't have the rights to market the product because they are not paying their bills.
if macular health is as high up the pharma food chain as Fuse is aiming, they may as well not bother. i would rather they focus their time and money on the drops.
The less he has to do with the company the better.
It is though. Agree to disagree. Keep up the helpful posts, as you have had many. I am looking forward to that delivery date for the drops as well.
My point is your money is no longer your money. All you have now is a chunk of a company until you decide to trade that chunk for someone else's money. No need to get testy. Nothing personal about it.
Nowhere did I suggest "lie and deny." I simply said it makes more sense to just say nothing at all. Many people would save themselves a great deal of trouble by keeping their mouths shut. Nobody is asking you to be quiet, or even to avoid using bold and caps in your posts. I was just suggesting you consider an alternative to the two choices of either telling the truth or telling a lie.
Also, your money got you a piece of the company. The "morons" are not in charge of your money. They are in charge of the company. You can sell that piece and leave at any time, but until you do, I suggest you appreciate the fact that your money no longer exists as anything other than a piece of the company.
Fuse should not say anything until they have the product and can distribute it at will. Fuse already said the end of September, which actually read more like sometime in October to me. All giving a date would do is present another opportunity for management to look like they do not know what they are doing. Also, it would only be earlier than anticipated to the few of us who follow this company. The people who will be buying the drops have no idea when they are "supposed" to be out. Nor do they care. The only people who are hurt by these delays and pps drops are the investors, and only if you sell.
funny what short term "loses" will do to one's memory. good find. good post. thank you.
and with zero credibility, what does a date mean? why set yourself up for failure when you do not have to?
what exactly would a specific date do?
They will release the drops eventually, but what is a date worth? If this company cannot turn a profit nobody will care how many products or endorsers they have. Would it be nice if everything in complex systems went as planned? Yes. Would it be great if Fuse had the leverage that larger companies have (read: Apple) and could demand delivery on a certain date? Sure. However, not even Apple releases their release dates until a couple of weeks out. They hint and the tease, then they have a big party for the press once they have the product near release ready, and then they give a date a few weeks ahead to allow for the final push of anticipation and hype. Why does Apple get to do this? Because they earned it. Their products have huge margins and they have gone from an irrelevant platform to a market dominating platform. Great ideas are barely worth the paper they are written on if they cannot be successfully executed. Is 10 cents a fair price for Fuse right now? Yes. It will not survive if the only thing it sells is Enerjel. Did anyone around here think the pps would take such a hit? Probably not. If you are long, then just be patient and ignore the pps until the drops have a chance to hit the market and the company has a chance to sell them (literally and figuratively) to the public.
agreed. LOI's are nothing more than a handshake which is worth...nothing. in addition there are more promising treatments out there than the vitamins Macular Health produces. 16% is great, but it is really nothing special. If Fuse does not get the better end of this deal I will be concerned.
a great play.
bg do you work for Fuse? i cant send messages, so...
your posts have inspired excellent posts and DD from other people on this board. a sincere thanks. i hope you averaged down, and i hope that you get to reap the benefits in the future.
you don't get to be a start up and jump to the top of a huge pile in a heavily saturated market. if the drops come out and they suck, for lack of a better description, then we can worry. however, i think it is more likely that the athletes with Fuse provide the push to get momentum going, and the product takes care of the rest.
what Fuse needs to do is get product out on the shelves of every gas station, drug store, and sporting goods store they can possibly reach. without a huge advertising budget, the drops are going to have to speak for themselves for the most part. throw a picture of big papi or tiger on the box and let it do its own work.
probably a gel pack. used for endurance sports. you eat it.
Monster is a reach. It was a solid company for many years before it became Monster and took off. It is just a good example of how much potential there is in the energy/supplement market. Anything near $70 for Fuse would take some extremely successful otc products.
maybe tiger should start donating his prize money to Fuse.
this is not a lesson in scientific breakthroughs. its a lesson in marketing. the success of the products depends on the ability of the company to effectively market them. revolutionary...probably not. game changing though is a possibility. also, things that have never been done before always sound ridiculous.
missed you and your helpful posts. keep up the good work.
same boat, but feeling the position envy. hopefully you have been averaging down (...on days like today...), but the share price shows the lack of understanding beyond Tiger's bag, it shows that this is a very young company that has not shown any profits, and it shows that the company really has not even begun to hit its stride.
you are talking about two different things. if you want energy, you need sugar. gatorade has sugar. if you are sweating a lot you need to replace the salts that you sweat out. gatorade and the drops will both have that. vitamin b, caffeine, and various other things will increase your metabolism and access the sugar already stored in your body. If Fuse was intending to compete with gatorade, or if it ever becomes a competitor, I would guess pepsi would buy the company with the change between its proverbial couch cushions.
i will believe it when the product is out there and legitimately reviewed. until then all we have is the word of someone trying to sell us something (which has so far proven trustworthy).
first, thanks for your posts. the content is solid, and i like the tempered optimism.
that is awesome, and having done some distance running i appreciate what you and pest are saying. however, i would also hope you appreciate the fact that you have both experience and knowledge that not everyone does. that experience and knowledge should be passed on respectfully.
as for the drops...i would hope they would be suggested to take with water and dispensed in a way that makes it difficult to take too many. diluting them in water, like mio, would be fine. the difference there is marketing. do you want to buy a product marketed at athletes? or one that advertises with animals at a bar? however, beyond that, we really will not know until the drops are released.
you are right in saying taking in a sufficient amount of water will always be necessary. nothing will ever replace that.
as for your last paragraph, i think Fuse is developing/has developed a way to not only deliver compounds through the skin, but also to deliver the compounds in variable doses and periods of time. it will be fun to see what they actually come up with.
