I reposted.
Whois info on oceanwise website, read carefully:
http://www.networksolutions.com/whois-search/oceanwise.asia
Well, now the question is what does this all mean?
So, its a godaddy site and we have info on who has been involved with that website. The mailing addresses seem of interest and I dont recognise a name or two.
WE can thank some MDCE board members like Buzz and Dadx4 for example, to remember things may not always be what you hope or see at first glance; and to look behind the scenes if possible.
You started this today! :) You can go fer it if ya would like. Im intrested in companys clarification!
Id think a full blow sticky but not sure what to do with a sticky yet.
Quite the DD tool, using a whois search. I didnt think of it untill this afternoon.
So is a Ning wu if I read it right, oops never mind she listed as admin of oceanwise web whois info.
Just got done snooping at SEC and looked at some FAQs for signatures for docs(primarily i looked at s-8 requirements) at SEC;my my the rules!
Still digging but there are rules for e-signatures( /s/ ) on docs and also images of signatures and where thay are and are not acceptable.
Intresting IMO the signature type differences vs old s-8 and this new one.
From what I gathered in faqs, if an doc is not a "required" one, a pic of a signature may be acceptable in an html document if certain formatting requirements are met IMO.
No biggie, just the odd color of that sig on doc spoke "Warning Will Robinson" again IMO considering all thats been going on.
Oh that was a good DD link! Speaking of DD, was curious if you or another can answer a question on a SEC Document; just a real general question really only for future reference.
I was browsing thru the MDCE S-8 supporting docs, and while i was looking at: http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1404593/000147793212003720/mdce_ex1054.htm which a supporting doc in http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1404593/000147793212003720/0001477932-12-003720-index.htm ,I had noticed the discoloration of A. McMurray-Nelson signature as if pasted there from another doc.
Is this typical at edgar site for docs where signatures that are on some docs at SEC may look to be pasted on a doc for want of better words? I ask because there are pictures of signatures in same archive above:
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1404593/000147793212003720/mdce_ex1054001.jpg
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1404593/000147793212003720/mdce_ex1054002.jpg
So, who puts the signatures on the docs filed at Edgar in general? Or does the SEC crop the signatures and save em?
ty all if ya have some input
Now that's an interesting point! You'd think one would want to be known.
Ok, ty. Just wasnt getting it, have seen other permits/licences with no blanked spaces with other companys doing business in China that had posted their stuff online.
S-8 just filed.
"--Our legal representative is (usually) a government official and this name cannot be released publicly. "
Not sure I get this, the "usually". Does this indicate that on govt docs that a govt official has to be used, but they can use a private legal rep for other non govt things? Just curious your take on this.
Hello Change8,
Just a question on the new layout/address.
I had noticed the suites on prints/in pics etc.. faced Huangge Middle Rd, and Huangge intersects with Longxiang Ave just to the south of suites marked on print. I cant find this Longcheng Ave mentioned as address in the approval for Shenzhen picture/document posted today. I did find on a map, Longcheng Ave a mile or two NE of the complex in question.
Is Longxiang Ave and Longcheng Ave mixed up somewhere or perhaps one in the same?
Thanks, just DD
Your one of the plusses that make the MDCE board the perfect learning opportunity for us newer hobby traders/investors. Dont get a big head though! :)
We have quite the diverse bunch here vs most other boards and its a smaller one, so easy to stand back and get the big picture of how things work in pinkyland IMO.
Oh yes, I can dig that. That was my first impression seeing the switch but that dang hope showed its face again. Some day will have to hop off the fence.
" Am I missing something here?"
What is the story with today's suite selection on "updated" print vs what was on the mdce website yesterday? The square footage/meters is quite different now vs yesterday's "Selections".
Minor or a simple goof, sure I can dig it but....c'mon!
Looks promising but didn't much care for the moving of marked suites from first print to updated one. Probably no big deal.
Lol, that would be a treat.
Can you see this license approval document on MDCE website mentioned in pr? I couldn't find it
Ty
News just now at globe news wire
Potential is great IMO, hoping for MDCE follow thru!
Post 7100 on the 12th by you in relation to the Change8 identity fiasco.
"when he first started to post, many of us questioned his legitimacy. i called the co hk office. they confirmed. take no one for thier word. we must do our own dd. we have our hard earned money invested here. "
Some may get hot and cold on mdce, but its not foolish to question grey items IMO. Still not made up my mind, but my dd on Shenzhen location last night points me towards more positive view personally. Am I being foolish looking for problems? Me thinks not.
Should be able to figure out the length and widths, and if there is a fairly close match to prs then that is one thing cleared a little bit.
I agree with ya on that on buzz, but now One can make some guesses to square footage mentioned in prs vs to suites arrowed. Looks like from pics and print there will be quite a bit to do to modify the place at least to us standards. The spaces look like large open retail spaces?

"China Building Code"
http://chinahousing.mit.edu/english/resources/BuildingCode.html#two
For you construction types, from MIT from 2000. Would imagine some changes since. Have read that building codes currently are very close to usa requirements. FWIW. re new location.
"Basics of China Business Law"
http://www.chinalawblog.com/basics-of-china-business-law/
This site has some very good recent articles, am thinking might be quite helpful to some here on mdce board.
Thats why I was asking Change8, Figaruch; looks like entire complex and just wanted to zero in on area they will be using.
Thank you Change8. Could you identify which suit(s) will be used? It would be appreciated.
No increase
Any pointers to which suit(s) are the proposed area? Hard to read from iPhone!
I think it's a good point, the question comes to mind again which entity is doing the business dealings with govt to get licensing etc? Might it work like MDCE and oceanwise work thru reach out holdings to deal with local issues.
Just curious your take on this
I was wondering how that comes into play. Reach out is HK and I believe so is Oceanwise. Was thinking reach out or Oceanwise might be listed on business licenses? Just trying to put pieces together on who is responsible for what etc...
"How to Verify Companies in China"
http://www.bili.biz/check-chinese-company.php
There's an active link to a govt website that works but it's in Chinese.
Are there two licenses involved? I took this from the recent 10q.
"Company received a loan of $285,645 from Ocean Wise to be used for the Company’s joint venture costs for its Shenzhen Phase 1 and 2 licenses."
It sure would help.
"Examining a Chinese Company Business License"
http://www.china-briefing.com/news/2009/12/08/examining-a-chinese-company-business-license.html
I'm not sure, but is the license mentioned at the above website the one were all generally talking about?
I would think it eventually would. I'll post some links, but it appears the the Chinese govt requires certification from foreign embassy's on company's applying for this and that to do business in China so your thought about a China license being verified by a consulate or embassy is not way out there; in fact seems reasonable or perhaps expected IMO.
You are bringing up a good point!, but what would one expect to see on this licence or permit as far as principals?
Like, would we expect to see ReachOut or MDCE only the ones named?
Heck, why not?
