Actually DonD it's 3.5 cents per share not 35 cents per share....
Jack, I'm confused....don't you own enough guns to protect your own gold? Need to borrow some of mine? I have plenty.......
Eats, how about sending me an email to wmo767@comcast.net. I would like to talk with you about another investment. Hearing both good and bad and really would like your opinion. Thanks. wmo
Ok, I have heard that the cdch CC has not been completed and as per normal may never happen. Mike says JJ is going to do a QandA. But we haven't had the update with meat in it yet and JJ is working tirelessly thru the holidays.
What the f&*( is going on? Hand I will talk with you when I get home and we can plan our Canadian visit that we talked about. From there I will set up a short trip to Santiago. Answers. Just answers. The truth. Just the truth. I would think that those speaking with Les would at least demand the truth. The runaround is over.
I sent Les and email last week and there has been some discussion about whether it was a good email or not to have sent him. THere have been several good responses and some good dialogue. Here is my response to some of what has been said....
It's good to wake up and find you have at least gotten a rise out of someone. First of all, Mike, I am merely a shareholder watching as friends, relatives and others get hammered by Les, Juan, Greg and to some extent Larry. Whether you like it or not they are in fact Medinah. Not you, not Kirk, not Kevin, not Dr. Kleen....nobody on the outside is Medinah. If we were I think we would all have a better communication set up than is currently in place if only because we all know how poor the communication has been.
The soul intent and purpose of the email to Les was to tell him that some of the investors he wasn't talking to are in real trouble and it's time for him and Juan to move their butts along. This continued "next week" and "very soon" have worn out their welcome. One large investor I know is now talking like Les. " let's give them until next week, next month, next year and they will get this done." It's crazy. Ninety percent of the people on this board depend on you and Kirk to provide them with information about this investment. And like them I very much appreciate what you and Kirk do. However, when are you going to get tired of being played? ANd whether you want to admit it of not that's exactly what Les is doing. He's playing you. You have already admitted that the update didn't have information it should have. So why not? Would it have killed them to include it? And because the answer is NO, nobody, except a few of us, want to really get in their face. Heavens forbid that we should piss off Les or Juan either one. Folks are going bankrupt and losing their homes and Medinah is burning while Les is strumming his fiddle.
Let's also understand something else, Juan is not a business man. He is an attorney. And while I am comfortable that he is more than capable of dotting the I's and crossing the t's like he wants no BUSINESSMAN would have ever allowed this to drag out so long. As an example, everyone on this boards knows the helicopters were flying on the mountain several weeks ago. Some said with sonar equipment to map and some said with equipment for delivery. WHy not a large down payment to do that or as George has suggested many times a Letter of Intent and an announcement to let EVERYONE know what is going on? The Australians have done hundreds if not thousands of deal with the Chinese and it didn't take this long.
Now there seems to be some doubt about my overall ability to handle a meeting with Juan. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. But I will bet that I have spent as much or more time than anybody on this board in Chile and South America as a whole. I know the people, the customs and it might suprise you quite a few of the business people. I'm not going to bite Juan's head off but I'm not going to kiss his butt either. I am going to ask real questions about Medinah, the property and JV. He will answer what he can and the rest he won't. Will we be big buddies after we talk? I doubt it, but at least we will have talked and a lot more in depth than what we are currently hearing or being told. Hell I don't have to be the one to go. You guys all get together and pick somebody. I'll give him a pass and he can go down for as long as is necessary. Personally I would really like for Handshake to go. He's been here a lot longer than I have and knows a whole lot more than I do. Plus he has met Juan. Knows him face to face and was told "very soon" in person.
And don't be fooled by Juans' personal demeanor. If he is negotiating as tough as everyone says he is I am quite comfortable he can handle a sharp stick in the eye from me and keep moving forward. After all this isn't personal it's business. And quite frankly it's my business and the business of EVERY investor in Medinah.
As for Les, Les is Les. He is first and foremost a promoter. He's heard a lot worse than what he heard from me and he will hear it again in the future. That's the nature of the business he has chosen and he understands. The few times Les and I have talked on the phone he has always been pleasant, and this isn't the first time I've busted him in an email. But he has never been forth coming. It's always things are great and call me next week.
The real issue is that we all have a lot invested here whether it is time or money. We all want the same thing--to hit a home run. I want the good life. I want it for my kids. I think every body on this board wants that. Just some of us want to be told.....a whole lot more than we being told right now.
I doubt very seriously Michael that there are any nervous sellers. There are however many investors who have been here for so long and keep hearing soon or next week that they have moved to a period where instead of taking care of their financial obligations they have listened to the rhetoric and waited too long. It's now time to pay some bills. So a few are choosing to take some money and do just that. Unfortunately, Medinah has chosen not to keep all of us as well informed as some and the price is dropping like a rock. Hard to sell some stock to pay bills when the MM's are manipulating stock prices and not allowing anyone to really get their money out. And for that I hope the gods get even....
I am hurt....me and Hand thought Bill and Vince would be a nice touch!!!!LOLOLOLOLOL
I don't want to steal George's thunder but he and his lovely wife are the proud parents of 2 new baby boys. 6.11 and 5.8 lbs. respectively. Congrats Geoly!!!!! Now would be a perfect time for this to be over, signed and announced.
wtxpa, how about a little credit for the players who have your back? I was there when you found out about Blackstone....like the commercial says "it's shake and bake and I helped". LOL I told you, you guys are much smarter than me.
Geoly, I have the same thing about BH, the Chinese and the documents from my sources today. Both of whom are separate and knowledgable. Let's hope all these sources are correct.
I don't even want to think about clearing my voice mail....LOL
I realize that I am not 100 % healthy right now but the idea that those of you who called me daily 4 and 5 times should just quit calling me......I am starting to feel like the maytag repairman. Call my home phone as my cell died on my hip and I literally mean it died on my hip when I landed on it. You should see the bruise....
Nah, erno ain't got the balls...besides I already spent his money on my friends.
I just posted this on Mining Play and thought everybody over here needed it too...
As I sit here watching this drama we call Medinah play out I thought I might inject a bit of realism. As some of you may or may not know I had the distinct misfortune of placing my motorcycle into the side of an automobile last Wednesday. Beautiful day for a ride, too bad the driver who cut me off wasn't having as much fun as I was.
I spent four days in the hospital mostly in a morphine fog and am home now trying to get around. Broken ribs and a broken collar bane so't make it easy. I am not asking for your pity but the many calls and expressions of concern have been greatly apreciated. Yesterday I went to one of my doctors for a visit and had a most interesting thing happen. As I was waiting for my turn to see the doctor I noticed a young woman who was severly retarded. And for the life of me I don't know why but I started saying a prayer to my God that he would grant her some happiness that would make her life wonderful and kind and good for her. And then I stopped and thanked Him for letting me live another day. For the last 2 and 1/2 years this company has been the focus of an almost daily obsession on my part for making money, so much so that at times I forgot to live my life and remember that while sometimes things can get ugly some people have it a lot worse than I do and that even if goog things happen for them they may never know it.
Folks lets all have take just a moment and have a good thought for someone else. Every minute of lives is the way it is supposed to be. But it's up to us to make it what we want. God will take care of this the way and when it is supposed to be and not before
Massimo, does GFYH mean Good For You Handshake? No, then what could it mean...Go Fu....Oh I get it!!!! You boys don't play very nice on this board do you?
Actually, it's not Les but JJ who is insisting on the large cash payment up front. And why would a major mining company pay a huge up front fee to drill for something that isn't there? I know we are talking about the Chinese, and they may not be as worldly as we think (then again maybe they are)but I don't think the party leaders would be happy about losing money.
Massimo, did your friend say what or how big? I can't imagine that the something going on isn't huge. Just the supposed flyovers, landings, trucks, cars, drills, etc. hitting the ground should be very noticeable.
Thanks.
wmo
Hand, I won't tell you how wrong I wish you had been for the last 12 months or so. More than anything else I think the tone of some of your statements just pi$$ed me and others off. Not the content. But this is the internet and anonimity let's you say what you want how you want with no personal responsibility. I hate that.
Having said that I am sick of Les' lying. It's not Les speak, it's not maybe he got it wrong. It's just plain lying.
Do I think this is a great investment? Yeah. Maybe too much of a great investment. That's why I am up to my ears in it. I know some people of real integrity who have been in this and know the true skinny on what a great deal this can be. They believe and they back that belief with real money every month. And they have a whole lot more in it than I do.
Right now I need to step back because I am on the verge of starting a chit storm that will make me feel better personally but won't solve anything.
The latest I have now heard isn't next week. It's two weeks. So who the hell knows? I'm going to leave the country for a few days and let you gentlemen sort this out.
If it ever does hit and we ever do make any money and I ever do get to Vegas Les isn't going to like me one little bit. But that's okay if it hits I'll be rich and he and I can hire duelling attorneys. LOL
wmo
Metal, you have way too much time on your hands....I liked the signs. Very funny!!!!
Not me. I just bought a little.
Thanks. I have finished. They ran the price up on no trades earlier. Everything appears to be a short according to my sources.
Anybody got a level 2 on NPER? These MM's really pi$$ me off.
i think that is low.
So if I say something good and offer some positive information for investors from sources I know, I have effectively become a tool for Les Price. Is that the implication you are trying to make with the statement you put up?
Can't argue with your history. But I have been hearing next week for about 9 months now and as tired as I am of hearing about it I am sure you are even more tired. I do however like what I am hearing from all the sources I am communicating with and I am hearing very good things. Let's see where this goes in the next little while. I won't put a time frame on it but I need the money as much as anyone....so here's hoping what I hear is true and we will all be well off and this will just be a sore memory for all of us.
So Hand,
What's the point of the post? Who's the fraud? Who's the white collar criminal you are referring to? Les? JJ? BOD of CDCH?
wmo
As of 1:30 today not one share of MDMN has traded. Slow day?
Thanks Carnelson!!
Thanks I just read the post with the SEC filings.
Carnelson....where did you see the quote you posted about what Manzo said about the float? I would like to go see the whole thing. Thanks
Hand, you are absolutely correct. Juan has Les, MDMN, CDCH and the Cerro BOD by the cajonees and is pulling them around. THis will get done when JJ says it will get done. When somebody gives him an offer, and it won't be standard, he will forward it and then we might get some action. And I say it won't be standard because nobody does a standard offer when the suitee (MDMN)in this case gives the suitor a financial term sheet to open negotiations. JJ is driving this. The question is he as honorabel as he appears and as he needs to be for us to make alot of money. I believe he is. And I believe we are all going to make a lot of money.
Well, no matter this makes me get out and do something besides sitting here waiting for the folks who control this to do the right thing. Hey Geoly, get off the furniture!!!!
Boy this is really an exciting board today!!!!! I love making a lot of money.....
Geoly, I love ya man. You are paying for dinner right?
Hand, inlaws for dinner? You actually have your inlaws over for dinner? Breathe in Breatheout......sorry I was having a panic attack. My mother in law is in Brazil. So I go there and leave when I want. Works great. LOL.
Well I hope that in the end Les and JJ can put together a deal. Like Geoly I wonder if JJ isn't over matched? Then again maybe he thinks he holds all the cards. I hate this but right now this is the only game in town.
I don't have anything bad to say about Juan. Never met the man never talked with the man. I don't like that he has a strangle hold on this whole thing but that is just the way it is. I have no choice but to wait. Down too much right now to get out. And what if they put this together? Rumor has it there is supposed to be an offer in writing coming.....let's see if it's true.
Hand, breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out....Bubba nothing any of us can say is going to change this. I will say that the one thing we can do is complain as a group to the SEC or even the Canadians. The Canadians have a link on their SEC web site to complain about something you feel is either wrong concerning actions by a company.
However, I think the answer here is JJ is the man with his hand on the throttle. Either he pushes it or it doesn't get pushed.
I am no more happy about this than you or George or Eric or anyone else but short of hiring an attorney to fight with JJ in Chile I think right now we are along for the ride.
As for making Les' life miserable I don't think you can make it any worse than it is. My sources tell me,and correct me if I am wrong, that Les has nothing but the stock he holds in Medinah. Right now it's worth $280k. Not a whole lot for a life time...
I talk with 4, 5 or 6 differnt people a day about this. Some really knowledgable some not. Either it is or it isn't. Take your pick.
I will tell you one thing everybody should be worried about and that is what happens if God forbid something should happen to JJ. Then we are really done.
Update:
Dear Shareholders:
We are presently negotiating with more than 12 major companies, some of the world’s largest, with sincere interest in developing our Alto de Lipangue properties in Chile. Many of these entities are co-sharing their proposals, reducing the number to 5 or so groupings.
While the negotiations continue, each of these entities, being public companies, has entered Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreements with Medinah, not permitting us to reveal their identities or significant details at this point of time.
Each of the proposed Joint Venture companies has been provided “term sheets” for negotiating purposes. As well, we have also had discussions with “investment bankers” who have expressed an interest in funding Medinah by purchasing a percentage interest in our properties and Medinah would proceed with the development. We are encouraged and confident the company is closer to the fruition of these efforts than at any time in the past year. We cannot predict exactly a completion date.
During the past year, we have enhanced our property by the acquisition of key claim groups to the south of the Lipangue, extending to the high-grade moly/copper adits now accessible by the construction of the south roads. This area was not explored in previous programs. In the past, property examinations comprised day trips from Santiago to the Alto de Lipangue. Currently, these examinations now extend to several days because of travel distances. The professional geologists who have examined the copper/moly-expanded areas are extremely encouraged with the potential mineral extensions and the typical ”model” of development. At the same time, we have been fortunate to be able to tie in the Las dos Marias claims to the Alto de Lipangue that result in a contiguous property.
Last month, Medinah Gold, Inc. sent two geologists/technicians to the Madre de Dios area in southern Chile. After a 17-day examination and testing, they have recommended to Medinah Gold, Inc. a development program on two specific areas of interest. (Medinah Minerals, Inc. has earned a 9% interest in the project.) The neighbouring properties are proceeding to install a processing plant that should be fully operational in September, capable of treating approximately 300 cubic meters per hour of gold-bearing sands.
Each of the Officers and Directors of Medinah are working diligently to build Medinah into a viable and profitable mining company as quickly as possible with a working agreement that maximizes the potential of all the company’s assets.
Yours Respectfully,
Juan José Quijano Fernández
Finally an update from Juan Jose!!!!!

Thank you metallurgist my brain is now unlocked....at least for a while.
