Not sure that I'd be holding short position here in the short term. That's just my opinion.
Looking good early...this thing could run with some volume
Wouldn't surprise me if we hear news soon!
Looks like Wynnefield Capital likes what they see. Increasing their already massive position in $MSLP this month.
You feel better?
Is this what you meant by tanking?
It's amazing what happens when you cut expenses in all the right places. Did I read the Q correctly? Since the restructuring is complete, there's a chance to see actual profitability next qtr?
A fad?! Lol Obviously you're not a golfer. Pedometers have have been around forever. Fitbit will be too.
Exactly my thoughts. Since when is a profitable company that is still has healthy growth, dead? Or valued at 1x revenue? The market hasn't liked $FIT at all this year. They announce profitable, revenue growth and the stock goes down 30%. Hahaha I could see a few points for missing on earnings or the issues with potential slow holiday sales but come on...
I heard Cramers comments about Fitbit being dead this morning on tv and laughed. Its funny to me how much that man influences the market.
I understand some of the panic sell off but this is comical.
1X revs is not a fair valuation of this company and a suitor would never get it for that cheap. (Maybe 1.5 or 2.0x revs) If they were bleeding money with no revenue growth, I could see a 1x revenue sticker but not with profitability and continued sales.
This must've been the reason the reporter from Bloomberg was reaching out to several here. My position remains the same. I will kindly disagree with Brad and say that most anyone with a entrepreneurial mindset, that has a public company willing to issue shares relentlessly to market/grow your company, can still suck at business. Had it been profitable or somewhat close, I would possibly agree with him. Still to this day his arrogance leaves him in denial.
They are still posting here, so not sure they are giving up but that's what the report says.
Magnyseeum, is that you?
Are you sure about that? It says it launched in 2008.
Lol classic. If you truly believe what you are writing then there is no hope for you... Innocent until proven guilty.
Im not sure what your reference to War machine was about as the last time I checked this was an $MSLP message board. Try not to lose us in the weeds.
Regarding Vick...I'm certain that he served his punishment associated with the criminal activities he was accused of after and plead guilty to. And yes, you are correct...MP did sign him. Pretty sure Nike re-signed him as well once he was released from prison but that's none of my business.
Isn't that how our judicial system works? Innocent until proven guilty not the other way around...
You're really reaching here.
I remember Goldbond. Good memory. That's how I recall it too
Thoughts on the results Neuronal?
Oh...nice. Well that sounds pretty positive actually. Would be happy to provide my two cents.
What did they ask?
Every store I see that carries Combat bars is completely stocked with multiple boxes. Excited to see what Q1 brings
I concur....one business course would've did that toolbox wonders or maybe a real job?! My guess is the market will receive the news well but even if not, today is a very satisfying day for me personally!
Couldn't agree more! Worth every cent that it cost to remove him, although I disagree with his statement "now being the right time". No Brad...the right time was 2 years ago!
Apparently the greed continues! Drexler can now also be classified as a greedy douche
Or there's that lol
Higher volume today...this thing may be gaining interest. Go $MSLP
Saw the same thing at Vitamin shop. Three or four flavors of combat bars out of stock and one flavor of the Arnold bars. What gives? I thought they were going to "focus on the supply chain and their partnerships" lol
There's a difference between a company dropping a sponsor and a sponsor choosing not to pay for a marketing spot. Your logic is turds. When has MusclePharm ever been able to afford the UFC or some of he previous sponsors? For the first time in years someone is saying "hey we can't afford to buy this, let's conserve our money." If you can't see how much money the UFC partnership cost, then sorry...there's no hope. Look at the sponsors the UFC has now...Budweiser, Reebok, Harley Davidson etc.... These are companies with billions of dollars in revenues. They CAN afford it....MSLP cannot.
MusclePharm had a high growth business model from the beginning, created by someone with no business knowledge, no understanding or respect for the importance of shareholders in a publicly traded company, no comprehension of the value of a dollar, and lastly no concept of business strategy. With that being said...MusclePharm is doing exactly what should've been done years ago...cut costs where needed (executive comp, advertising, etc) and marketing their brand like they know how.
I'm still here and hoping for the best
Please do us all a favor and say that to Travis Brownes face
Anyone have any idea wtf these guys are really doing(besides eroding the share price)?! I feel like I'm watching a circus.
This call is wearing me out...
I'm not sure I've heard one straightforward answer from our new "team member".
Obviously...
Oh boy....
Anyone else notice the missing title under Brad's signature? Is this a sign or am I jumping to conclusions?
Any predictions on qtrly revs?
