Remember the one fact we know- that Red has reminded us of most recently... That will have an underlying impact on FCPG's long term value to us as shareholders ( and to state the obvious, on potential takeover candidates):
The Chinese govt has posed a limit on profits that can be taken in this sector! This IMO is a game changer.
I bought 50 shares at .21 just because! Now the proud owner of 120,050 at an average of .40.
Go FCPG!!!!
Did I miss JK being kicked out? How sad. How about Spivey?
Thanks Red! GLTU too!
Wow Red - I haven't seen so much passing the buck since the last Presidential state of the union speech.
I will stay the course with FCPG. I have become numb to the painful wait since December of 2010. I couldn't bear to get out and then see the fulfillment of our dreams play out.
I still am long on FCPG.
How so? So you are saying we sell and buy Apple
Question for this board: what has the better chance of being reality by 12/31/12:
- Apple reaches $900 per share with 4th Q release of iPad mini
- FCPG reaches .30 per share with addition of McTevia's addition to the BOD.
I will tolerate the lack of communications from a fledgling company - what i cannot tolerate any longer is late filings. I will sell all if that happens again and take my 50% ( albeit expensive) losses.
I hear you loud and clear Red. Is there anyway to forecast the margin or is it a moving target?
My concerns have always been margin and the creep in the cost of sale. Does anyone have more information on the govt imposed limits on pharmaceutical profit margins?
Hey Red- did I miss anything:)
Sitting on the tarmac in London. Only good thong is by the time I land in DC at 3:30pm all of the days drama will be almost over. Hang tough everyone.
What the heck? I'm on a plane all day and missed my connection in Brussels ( my phone won't pick up a signal). I settle in and see we are down significantly and Spivey is back. Welcome back Spivey. You are a glutton for punishment but a wise man nonetheless.
Come on Monday! this is torture!
No worries here! It is not unusual for an executive to be on multiple BOD's.
Best of luck! Hope you find peace and happiness somewhere else!
When can we say adios to you Spivey? You are growing stale....
All of you who are ready to sell - please do it and spare us your details and drama.
I'm not going anywhere (Good Lord willing) and after the past 19 months that seems a lot longer I'm starting to actually develop some patience and discipline trading. Im looonngg!
The big question- will this kettle EVER boil?
thanks for the memory - it certainly was exciting !!
Incomprehensible!
I'll do better than offer heartfelt sympathies - I will drink a few beers for you David!
Perfect. There is a need for both on this board. Lighten up and don't take yourself to seriously LTO.
And yours pray tell?
Red- what if the rest of the board has a protest and held a posted intervention to convince you to stay on board? It's not like you are punching a clock or dealing with a tyrant for a boss. You can still chime in from now and then just to keep us in check ( as only you have done so well for the last 2 1/2 years I have been witness).
What say u?
say it aint so RED...we will miss your wit and wisdom!
Hey Alltheway. Have you seen apple today down $21+. Do you think some of them are paying attention to your "sage" advice and loading the boats on the next big gainer = FCPG?
Easy to turn down a 2% bonus if indeed his comp plan is $18M
Hey Red- wouldn't you and I love to be in over our heads at $18m a year for a couple of years like Wang? He is smarter than we give him credit for. He must have studied hard under Tina and what's his name. LOL!!!!
I couldn't agree more. I wish we all could go to the annual shareholders meeting and grill the executive team responsible for this fiasco. I am still long and maybe because i am believing a bill of goods we are being sold. I prefer to put today as a colossal disappointment due to a botched announcement. I can see it with the sniping between members today. Everyone has a short fuse (except JK, spivey and LTO). They have a right to gloat. But you know what they say about he who laughs last - right Alltheway?
Im too stubborn to react and sell at this point. I worked hard and long to get my average down to .40 a share. I won't do anything but try and take advantage of this to buy more on the cheap and continue to drive my average down further.
Probably the only place where he can get a reply to his incessant negativity. I'm sure his family ignores his as we should.
How about we banish Spivey and LongTimeObserver to a land where they have to post to one another for eternity:)
Glad you agree because my assumptions on the business model were the growth platform was an inexpensive one. Once the core customer base and sales team are set the expense of running the operation should come down significantly. How much does it cost to add a hospital/ region of hospitals. Other than setting up delivery network which costs are ultimately passed on anyway.
Sales execs should be commission based and Internet is cheap ( even if they are still adhering to the original plan of providing computers to the customers).
Next report will be telling for sure b
Pack- I respect that but it is also what I meant by saying we believe in the business plan. Assuming the market share given the fact they are one of 7 companies given the Internet license.
I think we should be more concerned about bottom line margin if the business plan is as sound as we all think it is. The cost of sale was the 1st thing that jumped out at me on last report. Were there acquisition costs in that report (someone refresh my memory)? If not to hold the COS while growing top line (no matter how much), Will be the best leading indicator I will look for.
Thoughts?
If you guys don't stop chirping about the Cubs I am going to start singing about the Braves... Greg Maddux is the only common denominator that I will accept as banter.
I'm dying here!!! let's get this party started! I'm predicting $60M+
alltheway - it took a lot of effort (and money) but i finally got my average price down to .40. now lets rock and roll!!
Just saying;)
Wow Spivey. Thanks for the positive post! Contrary to LTO's belief, we are all in it because of the belief in the business model and speculative; as opposed to "blindly following" Alltheway.
Another 2900 shares @ .30
