I'm not a religious follower of carl, but he does tend to be a mover and shaker. he just happened to be there in ARII when I was looking into it and added a small plus. I made a nice little piece on the news he bought into AAPL. I stayed away when he bought into HLF. could have profited nicely but the situation screamed "stay away". that is the extent of my recent shoulder rubbing with carl.

ARII has a slightly higher P/E ratio but a lower peg ratio. the poor point is in cashflow. hence, I'm not in love.

Icahn prefers ARII. he knows more than I do.

ARII is a pureplay. TRN is diluted with construction, mining and barge. I chore the pureplay on tankers for oil and rework of tankers to fit new reg's which should outrun TRN.

yeah.....i'll be scaling in down to that gap. had to sell on that big rally

if they both keep performing as they have been, the stock price for both should double from here. can they keep it up? that is the question. I don't get too wound up about either.

this is a pre-earnings run, that's for sure. starting to get a little stretched at 55 though. not as undervalued as it was. so it's a 'hold' for now.

muel is getting treated like a non-filing pinky....but I don't think there is much downside from here for a while. I think it bounces later in the week.
