so it is okay for the rest to be unsubstantiated or whatever you keep as true?
I have no clue what your post meant. Can't believe what you are thinking. Don't care what you think of me. So you know how long it takes to swap out an nose gear? We in the USAF did it in a day with ground checks once we got into a hangar. Jack in up, aligned it up, static checked it, and ground checked it, and let's flight check it. Two months?
that's what I'm been thinking for years.
I agree; Igor would never sell. But is there a value to the non-stop from JFK to St peterburg? Don't know. But if there is someone who feels Baltia can't get it done will love to get it.
Everything you said makes sense except "how can three companies buy one company". How about each individually are bidding on baltia? Huh
The latest thing now is the nose landing gear. It has been years that Baltia has included cargo as their large income earner. Years, now on the cusp of completing Phase III we now hear to get that cargo money we have to upgrade the nose gear? Where are the guys who continued to laud this management team? Just asking.
There's a lot of reasons one would hold a penny stock and feeling overly impatient. One I bought at $0.10 8 years ago for a fledging up and coming new Airline. The sky was the limit. Penny stocks are buys you put in the desk and forget about them. But I averaged down many times to just over a penny now. The last time just before their last Mini. I don't have millions of dollars in this but do have thousands. A penny stock is a bet and I'm in it to reap much or lose it all the way. This is the only penny I owned. Not a trader. At 75 year old my wife and I use a Financial Manager to take care of our some 55-60 equity stocks in our Roth's, Roll-overs and Joint Accounts. Baltia is a gamer for me. Hence I am in till whatever the end is, so that's why I could still be here and impatient. Thanks for listening.
Save your money. Golf courses are a poor investments now-a-days. Shortly again? When they first hired flight crews we will be flying soon. When they designed flight attendants uniforms, why would they if we weren't going to fly soon. And designing the pin on their uniforms, wow you know its imminent. Everytime some info comes out 'it's imminent, shortly, soon'. Please get it over with. Eight years and counting for me.
United or whomever, please buy out Baltia so we can finally buy on a great golf course and get out of here. This 'soon' and 'shortly' that seems has been forecasted forever would go away with us.
I'd take a buy-out at .25 right now thank you. No billionaire here. Too old to spend it all anyway.
Okay folks, so if the buzz may be baltia may be for sale what do you all think it could go for? .05, .10, .15, .20 ..... Any ideas? Thanks.
That pop in the price today let's me sell and move to belise.
Interesting history. As a 28 year retired USAF from Aug 1957 to Apr 1985 I served with SAC at Castle AFB, CA, Altus AFB, OK and Wertsmith AFB, MI (now Kalita's home base). As a major command Inspector General Maintenance Inspector I walked on, in, around and through every major weapon system and engines that were in the inventory at the time of my retirement. Never said later models weren't still in the inventory. But thank you for the update on the later models. Just saw a B-2 fly touch and goes Sunday as I was playing golf at WPAFB, OH.
The president's plane was built in mid to late '80s. The fifties C-130s and B-52s are in the bone yard in Tucson, az. There were later models of each built in later years. e.g. the B-52's last model is the 'H'.
Awesome trading today. There was a buyer for every seller.
So there is no Fact. Just your opinion. Just to make sure other readers understand. Thanks.
Where can I view the official site announcing the Fact the mini passed? Thank You.
gosh, those flights mid-week were a thing of beauty.
Another definition of "soon". I bought in 2008 at $0.10. Averaged down significantly to well below $0.02. Why, because since I first bought Baltia was to get certified "soon". Still waiting PATIENTLY.
so you had no clue what I was talking about? thanks for the spelling lesson. We would be here forever if that was the standard.
It was mentioned before and needs repeating: if our president believes that Russia and putin will gain more of our dollars than we will of their rupels than the 'no love for putin' will trump this deal. The severe drop in the rupel makes for very harsh losses in converting to U.S. or any country outside of Russia, hence little travel by Russians.
Also, this is the middle of September and it was reported we would be flying the proving flights, no fooling, no b/s. Ahem!
Three weeks. No news. A lot of ?. Does anyone know anything? Of course not only b/s. Even the two who seem to know something really don't know or can't say. And if they can't say then that may not feed my interest very well. So the rest of you go to sleep so some of us can get here to see something of use. Cheers. I think I will go play golf tomorrow.
There is only one, maybe two outside the company that knows anything. The rest of us just should go to bed, play golf, have dinner with friends and look at the board to see if any of those post some real news. Let's just chill until we hear they pass or they failed the last two segments before proving flights. Cheeze.
I'm one who doubled my holdings last Friday. Could have gotten it less when at .003 but I never buy a stock when it's retreating. The FAA from Washington scared me a little, but after thinking about it they may have been looking at the actions of the Willow Run FAA to see what their problems were. Remember, some high rollers wrote to the DOT about suspected problems preventing Baltia from getting certified.
I really feel good about tonight. Haven't felt that way about the others going in. My wife wants a new Cadillac SRX. I own in my Roth so taking some out wouldn't affect taxes. Maybe as soon a Friday. Cheers.
No one here knows anything. this is not a investors hub only a chat room. waiting for some REAL INFO to hear.
we talk about how high the pps will rise after certification and revenue (baltia will), but how on the near term will that happen? Many of you longs who have been averaging down into the sub-penny and have amassed millions of shares will hold as the stock rises to .10, .20, .30, .60, etc. How much doubling, tripling, and 10xs, 30xs will you keep holding? There'll be buyers at those prices and much profit to take.
My point is: do you think a whale with a half billion shares will hold to a $1 or $2 when their average price is in the high to mid cents? And if not I see a very slow rise in PPS for a very long time after revenue flights starts. Any other ideas?
I'm a small cog in this wheel. But I do know something as fact, no fantasy. Fact: Baltia is two passing steps away from certification, and they have been since last November.
So last week's 'mini evac is next week' didn't pan out. so for sure 'the mini evac will be next week'.
thank you sir/maam. beyond... they gave their lives.
Please not personal, but you followed the media, etc. I have e-mailed fox and other media with the 'have a happy memorial day. as a 28 year usaf veteran, I have my day, nov 11th, veterans day. all active duty folks have theirs, armed forces day. Memorial Day is to honor our 'fallen comrades' i.e. those who are in their graves. nothing to celebrate there but to be solemn for their sacrifice. how about 'have a nice holiday weekend, enjoy your cookouts, your sales at retail stores, etc' but we should never forget the meaning of 'Memorial Day'. This is just a little (big thing for me) as all of us should attend the 'tomb of the unknown soldier' on Memorial Day. A wakeup call for most of us. suspect no response from anyone on this board.
HISTORY IS GREAT. 6 MONTHS AGO, YEAR AGO, NOW SEVEN YEARS AGO. PLEASE SEND ME THE ONE THAT SAYS "WE HAD THE MINI EVAC LAST NIGHT AND PASSED, WE ARE NOW HEADING INTO THE PROVING FLIGHTS". WOULDN'T THAT BE GREAT.
Thanks for the reply. First, I do not think the process is fun nor easy. Yes, I do not know the FAA process. Yes, I heard of the slide problems. But I know a little about Aircraft. If you have been on this board years ago I had under similar moments I felt I should give a brief bio. I do it again.
I am a 28 year retired in 1985 USAF Retired Officer. An Avionics and Aircraft Maintenance Officer. Was not a Pilot. Like to joke with my fly-boy friends 'I didn't have fun flying, I worked for a living.' I was on an Inspector General Maintenance Team for 4 Years inspecting Air Force World-wide Repair and Overhaul Facilities. Been inside wide-body fuel tanks and looked at the most expensive engine rebuilds.
After retirement I worked for companies that had contracts to digitize manuals from print to use ruggedized laptops for flight line use. Saved a van full of dozens of Tech Order Libraries. Most problems were with Wiring Diagrams, and Figures. But all that was in late 1980s and early 1990s.
So, I/we are to believe in 2011/2012 the manuals from Northwest were still paper and Baltia was a stuckee?
We just supposedly failed a mini because a bar wasn't installed correctly on slides that Baltia had failed a few times. Wish I was the follow-up inspector on that maintenance install job.
So you are right. Don't know FAA like you apparently do. But I didn't just fall out of a tree yesterday.
don't know who's winning. But we are into the weeds. Only 'at the end of Phase III' for well over five months that only needed to pass the mini-evac to move on, which now again is not yet scheduled (unless its by a phone-call like sometime in the next two weeks) is a schedule, of which we haven't passed yet.
Always wanted to visit Red Square in Moscow. Maybe it should be inked into my 'bucket list'.
why load up at .05 when there's a good chance you can get it at .03.
Wow. I got great info from someone who knew someone who knew someone. Makes me want to load up.
Meek, I too am a stockholder. Bought in a $0.10. How many on this board remember that stock price. Averaged down a lot and moved into my Roth IRA which means no taxes on any appreciation. But I'm through buying on hope. This stock needs change. It will happen or won't happen and all the hope and dreams on this board won't make it happen.
WHAT!!!!!? No mini evac tomorrow night? Doesn't the FAA and Baltia know that mavens on this board have already scheduled it for Tuesday night. Why do some believe anything that's said on any board.
This info is coming from day-dreamers. Maybe one has to be my age (75) to get a better perspective of what is fact and what is wanna be. Cheers.
next week is it folks (again). the pumpers have spoke.
OK, so a clamp wasn't installed correctly? Slide went to the ground, many, many pax couldn't get off the A/C, many died. So who got fired? No one I'm sure. A/C that carry many pax is not a joke, its get it right the first time, not brag about swift corrective action. But have no fear, we'll pass the test next Tuesday for sure. I read that somewhere over the past several months. Still hoping though. I'm ready to buy again on 'good news' and I'll leave buying on 'bad news' to others.
