Relax skunksy...take a deep breath...
and put on a nice large pot of water for the pasta. Then, don't forget to make a nice homemade batch of the sauce of your choosing. (Or, if it's more convenient, just head on over to the North End!)
Hey, I can't help it...it's Wednesday!!! LOL!!!
sgkr...agreed!(eom)
NSDM Prepares for Summer Drilling Program...
http://www.marketwatch.com/tools/quotes/newsarticle.asp?guid={8E122A23-0D64-44C3-B469-8A7669C85FC5}&...
A few gems (no pun intended) from this PR:
1) Winter program postponed until fall of 2005 [sound familiar?]
Why? No money!
2) "Proposed" joint venture partners were not able to fund the project. Note "proposed"...no JV partners, again no money.
3) Work has begun on the "preparation" of the summer drilling program. The drilling is "expected" to take place in May, providing the ground conditions are suitable for moving the drills into place.
4) If the winter program was postponed, why are they only now beginning to prepare for the summer drilling program? What have they been doing all winter? They've had the data already in hand for some time now (just go back to some old PRs).
5) Drilling is "expected" to commence in May. Expected? Not terribly definitive! And, based on their recent past track record, I sure wouldn't take that statement to the bank!
6) Besides, if they postponed the winter program because of lack of funding, where's the money coming from for the summer program?!
Very sad indeed! Caveat Emptor!!!
Take it easy King...
don't be putting the cart before the horse!

Well, I think you get the idea. Over the past 2-3 months, this one looks more like a "day player" than a buy-and-hold play.
Just be careful is all I'm trying to say.
Hey shepper...
you might be correct. But, just to throw a little caution to the wind, check out DMXP's price history (chart) for the last three months or so. Today's price behavior was repeated at least three times during that period. That is, it went up rather quickly (over a day or two) only to fall back down again within the ensuing month. Could just be the MMs taking this thing out for ride, but who knows?!
Glad you hear the fat lady...
problem is...she sang her last aria many months ago!
Hey sorta...nit picky point...
the so-called risk-free rate is typically the rate on the 90-day government T-Bill (i.e., a very short term rate), not the 30-year Treasury bond (which, by the way, are no longer being issued).
osger...
As I mentioned in my post to greencheetah, I do NOT ever recommend pink sheet stocks to any of my clients. Pinkies/OTC's are clearly a totally "hit or miss" proposition. I dabble in them myself, but again, they are not for the faint of heart. Please do not take my comments here on this board as being representative of what I would ever recommend to a client. I'm sorry if I've ever given that impression. My comments/venting are strictly related to my own personal disappointment with this particular stock.
Guess it's just time for me to be quiet about this one. Sorry.
greencheetah...
First of all, no one on this board is a client of mine, so my "venting" about selling a "loser" makes no matter to anyone but those reading this board (and, unfortunately, that includes me). I've personally dabbled in pink sheet stocks, and I've made some mistakes. Mea culpa. I would NEVER advise any client to invest in pink sheet/OTC stocks! I personally do it just for the heck of it, and with a very (very!) small portion of my overall portfolio. As you seem to suggest, one should not invest in any pinkie/OTC stock unless one is prepared to lose all.
As for selling anything at a low point...
...if it doesn't perform, dump it, pure and simple. Take the tax loss (if possible) and move on. One can only wait just so long!
As to why I'm upset, well, I just think that if anyone is going into business, forming a company, etc., then they should pay heed to their shareholders. Simple as that. I don't care if it's Microsoft, IBM, GE, whomever.
Well, first of all, Alex is just a mouthpiece...nothing more. He has about as much influence on this stock as Miller has on the Bud Lite commercials! Forget Alex; total waste of time! The guy is looking out for himself and his pump/dump public relations business; the rest of us are just dust in the wind! Sh!t, he makes out just fine whether this stock (or any of the other crap companies he's representing) goes up or down.
Get with it, folks. DMXP is dead in the water! No financing, no exploration, no activity that we know of. Total crock! Just stringing many of us poor investors along. Very sad state of affairs!
Get out NOW! (although that may be difficult, since I can't imagine anyone stupid enough to actually want to buy into this POS!)
WHERE IS THE FINANCING??? (that was so prominantly espoused in PRs way back in late spring of 2004)??? Well, there is none; and judging by the lack of any information relating to such financing, there simply is none. So, no exploration, no progress, etc. Just very sad!
RE: Alex...
sure as hell wouldn't hold my breath right now. For all we know, he's taking a nice vaction in the Carribean somewhere, sucking on some nice Cuban cigars, and laughing at everyone who invested in this POS! After all, he's just a damn "mouthpiece" for the "great" Dr. Rayment, et. al. What an amazing scam...only in America!!!
As P.T. Barnum once said: "There's a sucker born every minute."
ocean11...
"Does anyone know how many subscribers they have?"
If you can answer that question, then you win the prize!
Hi shep...IMHO, this thing is indeed dead...
...and has been so for quite some time. Problem is, the corpse just doesn't know it yet!
"Don't get caught watching the paint dry!"
Hmmmmmmmm!...Certainly interesting!!!(eom)
Skunksy...great market research...
I do not doubt your stats. But, be careful...the last time I posed some rhetorical questions, I got jumped on big time! Seems to happen a lot on this board! Geez!!!
Duke...You're right; many here are down in money...
...myself certainly included. But, Peter Lynch, in the 1970s and 1980s, did not make his investors wealthy or happy by simple morale boosting. He did it by investing in companies (small companies, mind you) that showed they could produce the goods - revenues and profits, with strong and intelligent management. And, he sure as hell "questioned" each and every one of those companies along the way, weeding out those who could not stand up to fiscal scrutiny. So, here we are...can QBID stand up to reasonable fiscal scrutiny (in the near or long term) or can't it? I guess that's MY basic question.
Okay Duke...
But, first of all, I don't think any opinion I post here can turn anything into fact, positive or negative (nor do I belive for an instant that it can affect the stock price). Secondly, I really don't post very often, compared to many here. You can check my history, of course. As far as posting only such things "that have been stated by management or verified by a link to the info," I'm fine with that too. But, when I see many posts simply saying virtually nothing new and stating something like "Goooooo QBID, etc.", I just want to scream! They, too, simply bring nothing to the table in terms of our understanding of QBID as an investment. Don't you agree?
Duke...okay, my "simple questions" may indeed reflect my feelings about this stock right now, but they are still just questions. I'm still in this one, and I would just like to know how others feel about certain matters relating to this stock, it's prospects, and it's current market price. If nothing else, I would like to hear from "both sides of the aisle", so to speak...not just from those who think this stock will go to the moon regardless of what does or does not happen.
Skunksy...damn! You're right...
and we all know what day today is, don't we?!!! Hehehe!!!
Sorry Bob...
just expressing my opinion...
but I guess that's not acceptable here unless it's viewed through rose-colored glasses, eh?!
Hey Duke...
no, I don't "know" this; just a feeling. That's why I posed it simply as a question. IMHO, at least at this point, I don't see where Frank's experience and connections have helped this stock too much.
Sorry skunksy...
didn't mean to offend you personally by my statements/opinions. I'm just very frustrated with the pps activity, on the whole, right now. I'm also very frustrated that, despite all the so-called great things happening with QBID, it's share price continues to languish. I just think that (again, IMO) without a major revenue stream, and soon, this thing just can't keep going on like this. Sorry, JMHO.
On another note...
did it ever occur to anyone that, despite all the recent development activities, Frank's so-called "experience and industry connections" just aren't cutting it with the big wigs of the industry?!
I rest my case...
definitely heading toward last Monday's opening level of about 0.0029 (or lower). The only PR that would help the cause is one stating that we have a major carrier with broad national coverage (translation: potential significant revenues). Without a substantial revenue stream, how can this company possibly keep going at its current pace (short of issuing yet more equity shares)??? Okay, some of you are thinking "debt financing." Well, that's all well and good, but the cost of that debt, especially in the absence of a significant revenue stream, would be horrendously costly and disastrous to shareholders (since debenture financing always takes precedence over equity financing in a liquidation). It's simply time to fish or cut bait, so to speak!
Hey Walter...
why don't you just go back to Ukraine and never, ever, come back!!!
You total slug!!!
Then again...maybe not! (eom)
zandant: you're a hoot!(eom)
zandant...
maybe instead of Brian Dennehey, we could get Bernie Ebbers. He'd be perfect for the part, and I hear he's looking for a job right now!
mr_geronimo...
please give me a published reference as to whether the Q is indeed on the 123 or 150 or whatever stations now. If I'm wrong, I will be too happy to admit as such. But, as far as I know, from readily available information, we are NOT!!!
dkgross...that's what I was trying to say...
when I posted the one below:
Wouldn't it be nice...
if QBID/Frank were to make available information such as this, as prominantly displayed on the NMCS website:
http://www.nmcinc.com/showpage.ww?page=financials
Here is another Pink Sheet stock (Nevada Mining Company) trying to establish it's credibility with investors. It may or may not be pretty, but at least they are trying to establish wide-spread credibility. So...why can't Frank do this with QBID??? Why can't he make available AUDITED financials, so the average investor can decide if it is worth getting into?
500 shares @ 0.0041...
WOW...a $2 trade! Nice MM signaling!!!
insearchofdiamond...yeah...idiots and suckers!!!(eom)
buyhiselllow1...there is NO deal...
we are NOT on 123 stations! As far as I know, we have RCN in three cities. Big deal!!!
Done deal?...
when has Frank and co. said anything in the past 3-4 months that have resulted in a done deal? [Please do enlighten me and all the other investors on this board!]
Sorry...too many broken promises! The acquisition of Pridevision is no where near a "done deal" just because the Q released a PR about it. "Done deals" fall through all the time.
MMs are having a field day...
with this latest PR. I wouldn't be surprised to see Q at Monday opening levels by end of day Thursday, or possibly by end of next week.
Caveat Emptor!!!
Yeah, Walter "con man" Stunder...
is doing the selling and some poor ill-informed folks are doing the buying!!!
What a freakin' SCAM!!!!!
Hey hockey...
seems like we all change our tune from time to time, eh?!
Wouldn't it be nice...

Hey Big Tips...#3: not sad...
...but VERY sad!...for all of us who have invested in this "company" (and I use the term loosely). Frank can walk away at any time and retire very nicely, thank you, while the rest of us schmucks are left holding the bag!
Damn pinks suck...gay, straight, or otherwise.
Definition of a pink sheet stock: worthless paper for those who invest; big bucks and a nice retirement fund for those who initiate the stock (and, gee, I think good old Frankie is in the latter category)!
As Bogie ("Mr. Rick") once said...
"...you'll regret it. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life."
