Agree King. Although it was refreshing to see Tirex's name attached to an actual plan calling for a full system to be stood up, I don't foresee any action unless there was a way to confirm the timeline for bringing this to reality. IMO, this article confirmed that "hurdle 2" has been passed (hurdel 1 - JT convincing Tire Shredding Unlimited that their best opportunity for ROI is to utilize Tirex's system). However, there are many more hurdles to leap before crossing the finish line.
> Facility Design/approval
> putting the construction out for bid
> obtaining and selecting the appropriate construction co. for build out
> Laying the foundation (not gonna happen this year unless they get going quickly with winter right around the corner)
> etc.
IMO - action will only occur if the plan and timing is more clear, and verifiable evidence that the plan is being executed.
Well, there is 15+ million on the ask out there at .0005 now if you want to try again (not sure if they are all or nothing orders).
Good find Spaceman. I suppose I may have to eat my pessimistic words from a previous post if JT has indeed been bustin’ his hump to find a partner and stand up a working system. I view a working Production system as both an initial income stream, but also an investment to use in both promoting future growth, as well as to lend support to returns that can be reaped. We’ll see where this goes, but I’m sure there is still quite a bit of time to wait for the build out if this moves forward without any additional roadblocks.
Kidnova - so let me guess the response....in response, FIDZ will have something to say along the lines of "Big Oil" or "Shell" or something in that neighborhood? Any wager that it will have no relevance to your call-out?
Silly Wabit, I would as well. I do give some consideration to Zinc's point on the matter, and agree that everything comes down to prioritization and resource availability (my own words not his), and if we use the argument that only Kim can create a demo of sorts, then I would have to question if that is the best use of his time. However, I do agree with you, wherein some investment in time (IMO) to create a series of demonstrations would pay dividends - not just for reassuring investors, but to provide evidence for non-investors as well as potential business partners.
Outside of agreeing with you, I also considered one other angle - what if, in theory, Kim actually agreed with you, but didn't want to provide any evidence at this juncture. There are some reasons I can think up that may support this case, but I still think there are more positives on providing evidence or support of accomplishments to date.
This would be a good question to pose if/when we get to another CC.
So what exactly does Threshie do with his time now-a-days? He can't be spending it on Tirex since IMO only a few insignificant events/changes have occured in recent years. Is he employed elsewhere, or just stepping further into the retirement arena as each month passes?
Thanks 'Eternal' for the comments/feedback, and the additional links in your second post. I am not too concerned about any competing project that may be running in parallel which are pursuing the "Goats Milk" path for generating spider silk protiens, as it is my understanding that this process is too costly considering the production requirements. What was it from last year's posts - relevant costs of $100k or so to generate enough silk to manufacture one necktie - don't recall the specifics, but I believe is was something in this neighborhood.
Yea, the spider-skin was interesting, and as I recall where Zinc also pointed out in numerous posts, this has some merit. Not necessarily to come up with a "bullet proof skin shield", rather with other medical applications such as using in conjunction with repairing ligaments, tendons, etc. I was more intrigued by a real life example being domonstrated. I would hope we see similar instances from KBLB once Kim has GEN2 and the necessary spidersilk to conduct experiments and prove the viability of the product (elasticity, strength, color, etc. etc.), production capabilities, cost, etc.
CNN vid on spidersilk today.
Unfortunately, it is based on the extraction of protiens from goats milk, not silkworms. However, it interesting nevertheless. I understand this is only one application of the product, but I hope Kim can produce some results soon and start producing enough product so that similar experiments, or other applications of KBLB's spidersilk, can be demonstrated so there is some reality brought forth to the public. I sure would be ok with a CNN clip demonstrating various applications of KBLB's product to the world.....wouldn't everyone else on the board?

Another sub-dollar buy takes the stock down by 25% - "what a great stock". One can invest change found in their couch ($0.78 to be exact) and have that sort of impact on the stock - wow. Maybe tomorrow someone will invest a whopping $1.30 and take it up 50 or 60%.
I suppose one can read into that statement and come to a number of conclusions. IMO - this was some investment from the distant past where LAZ dipped a toe into the pond and dropped a minimal investment hoping for "a penny stock payback". I didn't really understand fully what that statement meant. If not bankrupt, how can any load simply expire unless the grantor forgave the debt. Outside of bankruptsy or some other type of insolvency, a loan just doesn't "go away" due to elapsed time. I have not, nor plan to do any DD to find out because any answers will not really have any net affect on my holdings.
Deals in quite a number of OTC/Penny Stocks, but I have no knowledge of any investments/positions in Tirex. Apparently, via the last PR, the only money TXMC is coming up with is in the form of share distribution, especially if these are being used for exec compensation. Would be nice if a Hedge Fund or similar dropped 40 or 50 mil. Maybe then TXMC can stand up a real working unit and use is as a 'real' proof of concept platform to grow from, or at least setup a shared-revenue approach with some recyler to start building some revenue and ROI metrics in an actual production environment.
At least it is not "zero" shares. The MM's, or whomever plays around with exchanging shares, keep some level of volume going day to day for the most part - much better than others that hit rock bottom and never trade again. Although, I wouldn't consider $2800.00 "some life left", since most of this can be simply the daily trading back and forth between 3 and 5s. Heck, I'll loose more than that on the Craps tables in 15 minutes (although that has a little better odds of an upside).
Agree that these are positive steps. However, the pace at which these are acted upon is lacking. We've been here before as the news drug on as we waited for the books to be reviewed, restated and closed from a couple years in the past. What has it been, 6 months, 9 months, and it took that long to state that the remaining few years will now be audited. I'm glad to see there is an intention to get current, but I've been hearing that for a year or more.
I hope he executes on the latest direction, and furthermore hope that his sights are set on something north of a penny to make those shares worth more than a paper certificate. If not, I'm just holding. In my mind, what is the loss of another thousand or two at this point if this goes to .0001 - I mentally wrote off the remaining value in my holdings a long time ago. Anything to the positive side would be found money in my mind.
Here's to Threshie - hope he has one big horahh left in him.
King -thx for the correction, my mistake.
Didn't realize somebody threw pocket change at this stock before the news came out. I guess it doesn't really matter in the end as it is all a game to move this stock between 3's and 5's. Without 100's of millions in shares traded, I don't see how this is worth while for anyone to play that game, but that is just me.
I would hope as well that at some point Threshie would want to move this thing one way or another and walk away feeling some level of accomplishment, whether that be the "B" route or actually growing something from groundup.
Another observation...volume....
So we get the first tidbit of news, nevermind whether it is good or bad, and what is the result.....a whopping 4000 shares traded - equivalent to a buck-sixty - an amount that I could find lying in the parking lot of my local gas station.
BTW - even though the above sounds like a disgruntled share holder, and that would be a correct assumption. I actually do like the technology and its potential. It just never has materialized into anything or we don't have the right leadership to get us there.
>> Encouraging = I agree...Excited about future prospects/opportunities = not at all!
I am not sure which way the .01 vested figure can be spun, but one way I look at this is that it potentially puts some skin in the game for the executives to come in from the rain and actually make their mark. If they are successful and put the required efforts forward to actually move this technology forward, they just might just be able to make themselves rich. If they do nothing (i.e. the history of this company for the past 10 years, other than some blips where pump and dumps were done), then those shares are worthless and it basically means that they didn't get a salary since June 2010 (not that I see why one would get rewarded with a salary when nothings been accomplished).
Here is an idea - focus energies on standing up just one working system >> share in the cost/expenses and on the revenue side. If this technology is all its worked up to be, then it should prove itself and allow others to see a true working model and revenue opportunities.
Thanks Zinc. I suppose that I was focusing in on "ramp up" if/when that occurs, and the need to fill the production worm inventory needs (ie. lots of breeders to lay all those eggs). However, thanks for the clarity on breeder vs. silk production worms. Once inventory levels are satisfied, I see your point...what to do with the production worms extracted once the cacoon is completed - food or fertilizer.
I think chocolate covered worms would sell better anyway vs. chocolate covered moths (those darn wings always get stuck in your teeth) LOL.
Zinc - you may not have been serious about the "food worms", but if you were, I have a question. Perhaps I am missing something here, but aren't the worms all destined to spin a cacoon and morph into a moth? Thus, where are all the left over worms coming from? Perhaps you meant that KBLB could market chocolate cover moths - LOL.
OompaGoomba - No problem with Fidelity on my end for Limit Orders. Went all the way through the order process and it was placed for 10,000 at .129 (subsequently cancelled since I have all the shares I want at this time).
What's the Dial-in Number? Good to see Kim is going to discuss developments, but it would be nice to know how to get on that call.
Agree Dadofduck. I too have been here less than a year (Sept shareholder). The only change in my stock has been further adding in the .06 to .08's. If flipping, I would have turned on the 20's or even mid-teens last year, but my sights are a bit higher. That in itself should show evidence of my resolve. Staying long and strong.
Manshoon - was under the same opinion as you regarding end of April. I would have taken a couple hundered thousand off the table if news or some sort of insight into the future was not going to come to fruition. Glad it happened before I reduced.
Perfect - saved to my favorites for future notifications.
...as predicted on this board...delayed. Although, no issue for me, as it doesn't change my position.
Where did you learn of this? Link?
Survey: D / C
Good Luck - We'll have the Anesthesiologist fire up the iPad and have it at the ready when you wake up. LOL
Silkmaster - reposting updated survey results? Many responses after the summary - you planning on reposting an update?
King-B - Did you respond back to Henry Fountain's email?
Specifically, the first question that comes to mind once I read the snippit you provided was...
"Henry, if you were aware of KBLB (assuming the work you cited was essentially KBLB's recent developments), and you mentioned that the latest genetic engineering work involved putting spider genes into silkworms, then why would you not also cite any references to where you found the information regarding silkworms". Normally, editing-101 teaches you to cite your references.
Silk - current levels:
B: started purchases 10 months ago - added along the way
D: Own between 250k & 400k
Interested in your summary.
Patent responses - thanks Manshoon and Rayov for the added details. Agree that once filing is completed, protection begins, even if some other firm entered their request the next day - it's all about the date/time of the submission. From my experience (Technology patents - which have taken anywhere from 2 to 5 years), we are protected as long as the end result is the issuance of the actual patent. Lawsuits simply could not begin until the official patent was issued. Some have come back that the request was too generic, standard process oriented and so forth, and the patent request declined. However, I feel comfortable in your responses and I'm sure the submission from the KBLB crew is unique in itself.
Staying long and strong.
Patent timeline?
How long ago was/were the patent(s) filed? Do we know any details regarding the number of patents or the filing date(s)?
Ouch - I'm not holding that much, but substantial enough to retire on a big boat in the Keys somewhere if this thing ever turned.
Idea for you....Spend another $750,000.00 for 1.25B shares - add this to your 50M shares for a total of 1.3B shares. Now, with majority ownership, take the company over and put a couple years of hard work in to sell some units. 3-year plan to get the stock up to...let's say a nickle. Results = you now have $65,000,000.00. Go Viking!!! LOL
Right with you Dr-P. I don't like to point out faults in what would appear to be positive posts, especially when I have quite a large position here. Negating any such message could potentially have a negative impact on my overall holdings value (assuming buyers are acting based on BB posts - here or elsewhere. Not the smartest investment strategy, but we all know this occurs).
My stance, as stated in a post several weeks ago, is that I have already written off my investment and will just hold where I am currently. The remaining value either disappears (oh well), or it becomes a Christmas bonus of sorts if anything actually develops some day. Love the idea behind the technology, but nothing will develop until a sound business plan is put into place and there are clear / defined steps outlined on how this plan will be executed. I think the money has been pi$$ed away, where long ago we may have been able to build/implement a system for an interested party and setup a consignment type approach or some other Financial approach to account for the onboarding costs. Simply put - an investment years ago where we could at least be pointing to a 'real' system in production to use for marketing, site visits, output measurements, etc. etc.
Good luck with your position.
I am not contending the fact that the technology seems viable from a "Green" perspective, and environmental impacts would be reduced. Furthermore, I would like to see TXMC succeed, especially with the substantial position I hold, but I don't see it happening with all the delay and rhetoric over the years.
That said, why are you posting that the CEO is "in the NEWSSSS" - this statement has nothing to do with whether the technology is sound, whether it helps the environment, whether the "States" need or could use the technology (not that any will have budgets to do so or purchase product from a Third Party), etc. etc.
and..where is the punch line?
Posting a clip from 15 years ago (or however far in the past this was) is questionable at best. What exactly are you trying to pull with that post - I'm at a loss other than perhaps your attempts to pump with old info. Clarify your intent here.
Hopefully that doesn't happen and draw down the basis, however, I can say that my buy at .064 won't be going back to the sell lines, as I am long - just adding further to my position. Either my buy was a chunk of the 100k you mention, or that was asingle buy by another investor. I should add 'Patience' to my call tag as well, but at the same time am satisfied with my current position.
Call out to Manshoon - great work thus far - hope to see more DD soon.
Decided to join your party and add a bit more - I can lay claim to 14% of the volume.
Good point and good question. Perhaps just to keep the game going to use this as a tax shelter or for other monetary purposes - it obviously must serve somebody some purpose or another, I just don't think it is for the purpose of making ones mark on the world to show accomplishment or success in ones endeavors. It all comes down to ones priorities in life, and unfortunately, I don't believe TXMC is anyones priority any longer.
GLTA - I'll just hold and hope - not much more on the downside, as I can only loose about another grand on this if it goes completely under.
Thanks Lance for passing along. However, I've long ago ceased believing in any such forecasts, predictions, commitments, or whatever we want to call them. Just holding a substantial share count in what I believed was a good technology at a point long ago - too bad there is a lack of execution and drive to bring this technology to the forefront. Long on TXMC, but essentially have already written this investment off as a loss. Shares will either pay off one day or fade into the darkness.
I'm with you 'SeeYa'. My order didn't fill earlier even though it was in the price range. Tried to add as I've done with any other dips, but no luck.....unless anyone wants to fill it in the next few minutes??? 30K at .065. I know....dream on casper. Oh well, at least I got some shares today.
Seems logical. At least it gives a false sense of security that the stocks are actively trading versus going down the path of many sub-penny stocks where one can go weeks or months without a single trade.
