Fink et al: no PM currently but thanks for the message and understand and agree perhaps I am wrong about joecanouse actually being the Joe Canouse that is involved in nefarious nonsense with QASP/Dean/shareholders scr**ing.
I guess one should never underestimate the potential of human stupidity. Most crooks are cocky and have a superiority complex and end up catching themselves for the authorities. Guess that is the case here.
Da*n stupid then. Must be an idiot savant...
Very appropriate imagery!
It is extremely unlikely IMO that the "joecanouse" poster on this board is actually the Joe Canouse mentioned in connection with QASP and the various court docs listing him as part of some sort of litigation, etc. that have been posted here recently.
No one that has half or even less an ounce of sense that is involved in a civil criminal trial, or has the likely potential to be involved would risk posting on a message board where his/her statements could be used against them.
Hard to believe anyone, especially if they are involved in any way shape or form with Dean era QASP would actually post.
Especially if that someone is supposedly so sharp and experienced in stocks
Don't believe anonymous message board posters!

Ref. your PM, I replied over the weekend on your personal email. Note from you this AM tracks what I mentioned but think it is a bit of poetic license to be quite as positive ref. where the aquisitions ID'd are in the process of actually being acquired. Maybe ID'd and approached but that is about it.
Heard good rumors, verified, regarding this sale and a very large secure scan contract pending. Other merger rumors that are building steam. Keep your fingers crossed.
NEWS
JACKSONVILLE, FL, Dec 09, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Quasar International
Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: QASP) CEO, Jeff DiGenova, would like to inform all
shareholders of the addition of the new company website:
http://www.quasarinternationalholdingsinc.com. Two shareholders donated their
time to develop this for the company and they are deeply thanked for the job
well done. This new site features a blog that will be utilized to keep
shareholders updated.
We continue to work with lenders and expect answers within the next week.
Updates have been given from our attorneys and lenders that indicate answers and
progress will be forthcoming in the upcoming week. It is understandable that
shareholders want answers and as soon as we have results, they will be released.
IR has received inquiries raising concerns of the many rumors flying around, but
we will not address frivolous speculation. We have a plan that is workable and
will continue to move forward.
Quasar's management is working to earn the trust of our shareholders. No shares
have been sold, nor are we selling stock. There are absolutely no plans at this
time to R/S or increase the A/S, and will continue working toward our goal of
building a solid business with full transparency. Progress has been made over
the last two and a half months, but there is still much to be done. To those
that will stay with us, your support is greatly appreciated, and to those that
have moved on, we offer nothing but best wishes.
Thanks Manti.
I refuse to flip this thing, or buy more, until I get some of my $$ back on a good bounce. I expect a loss but if I can minimize it, then jump in and out some, I expect to make it back. Or not...d*mn stock market. As addictive as meth or other illegal narcs. Just can't get arrested for it (usually).
Most definitely noticed that about the QASP board. Flippers are not happy and need to work the system and try and get the game going again.
I only glance at the board now and again. Scottrade sends me the news reports, whenever there are any, pretty quickly on QASP and other stocks, plus they have a system whereby I can get an alert if there is a price swing (whatever price swing I set as the parameter).
Hats off to sportsprophet for creating a sane board where one can seek refuge from the nut cases posting on qasp.
and where the only ones banned are those with sociopathic interpersonal posting skills.
It has gotten so bad I can barely stand to read anything on it. Seems somehow the top ten most obnoxious people in my life have taken aliases and post on the QASP board. I now only skim it and continue to add to my growing ignore list. Despite my best efforts, more a**holes pop up every day though.
if anyone has a dob, approximate age, address or some other identifiers likely can track down the business background. May get around to it over the weekend.
Well I am a bit less annoyed with myself over QASP. Most definitely the best PR so far. If the other rumor about funding has any truth and we can get that settled then we might actually be able to make some good $$$ (and never again go long in a penny: I am following Taki's greek philosophy on these pink nightmares.)
Short term though this will continue to be a flippers dream: more so after today's news. Need that funding!!!
I can never concentrate on the substance of those emails when they have that damn van damme video signature...worse when it is the dancing one...makes me want to tell marine jokes...
INSIDE the resorts are great though not as good as a few years ago.
The random violence even on those areas though is a killer (excuse the pun...). Recent killings and armed violence right outside several resort areas. Can't go to the bars in town anymore!
I am prejudiced. Part of what I do is prepare risk assessments, pre and post deployment, for major corporate clients and some select ultra high net worth. Some places are fine. Monterrey where I am now aint ...even the US Embassy has told its dependents to leave and closed the schools. Not all of Mexico is that bad but I wouldnt send my parents here for fun anymore unfortunately.
Sorry, probably too much information...they pay me for this stuff!!
It is getting ugly over there at the QASP board. I am in Mexico at the moment (not as a tourist: one would have to be insane to come here for that but then again, I did invest in QASP).
Just landed and saw that the townfolk are now going to march on the mill/airport where the monster/dean is hold up. Better and better
He made mention of it in a PR after the latest funding debacle.
Prior to that he mentioned a poster by name. Nothing on mod law suits to my knowledge.
I have not kept up with the board of late though: I quit reading it except sporadically several weeks ago and now only scan for the posters that to me have some credibility. Might have been something I missed.
Future PRs have no credibility with the market or anyone at this point until/unless it would contain verifiable, specific information and not just platitudes and "expected" whatevers.
Yes. Thanks. Charts are such a great tool that just wasnt practical until the internet and computer for most investors. Love it! (and hope you are right about a good bounce)
smart move. As often happens "wish I'd done that."
I am going back to the "no long term penny stock" rule that normal, rational investors follow.
yeah. I am still holding but only to play for a bounce though given the state of this stock this is beginning to look like that may be a foolish play.
I dared to look at the QASP board and the stock price: I can understand better now why so many jumped out the window in 1929.
I have been looking at gamestop for some time. The management is good and they are actively looking for strategies to move into the internet download market. They don't want to go the way of the video rental stores and (IMO as usual) they appear to be ahead of the curve unlike the now defunct major movie rental chains that just ran the stores into the ground rather than spend capitol on acquisitions or whatever to move ahead with the rapidly changing retail environments.
I spend so much d*#* money at the local store I have gotten to know the regional manager pretty well. The new owners visited recently and he gave me a data dump on what they were telling their employees. Very different from the laid back previous owners. Bottom line driven: need to produce, cutting out some of the less lucrative side lines but emphasis on customer service. The on-line action, as with videos, books and buying in general, is an active part of their acquisition and growth plan according to what the management is being told.
I think it is a good play and should be able to make some $$s on it. My funds are tied up (overextended into QASP of course and have some other plays I don't want to sell at the moment) but whenever I will be getting some (if I havent already screwed up the timeing!).
the silence is killing me and my pocketbook!
Assist. Mod on the QASP board?
I suggest an immediate visit to your local therapist. That or copious amounts of alcohol consumed daily!
Dont blame you. I am biding my time a bit more but (as usual!) will probably miss the boat.
Let's hope you are right and someone got inside info on pending QASP good news for once since it is down so much today!
May be an anomaly though as given we have a four day weekend coming up, unless there is a PR today I seriously doubt anything will come out until late next week at the very earliest.
Good point. Virtually all my ignores are from that board.
New rule for me I instituted this AM: no more reading the QASP board until/unless another PR comes out! I have auto price checks sent to me by email if it goes below or above a certain level so that is good enough!
Too many years for me of being a follower of Machevelli I guess!
I gave my staff copies of the Prince one year as a Christmas gift. Sun Tzu the next!
damn. I thought I was doing well with only 100!
not a fisherman but those were pretty funny!
High IQ doesnt translate into success. Sociopaths have very high IQs. Heck, most professors and highly "degreed" people are often hopeless when it comes to managing, dealing with fellow humans, etc. I'll take my IQ and common sense any day over the 165+ IQ with an inability to function and make reasonable every-day life decisions.
In fact, more smart people in prison than most places: average prison IQ, though my reading on this is a bit dated, is significantly higher than the general population.
Yes she is. Though I know a couple of "gym rats" as I call them, the type that hollywood wants as body guards rather than pros (pumped up huge intimidating but don't really know how to perform protection).
Apparently she is very smart. Much, as is usual, is an act. She carefully cultivates her valley girl persona.
Doesn't mean she isnt a tramp though. They think of themselvs as beyond the law, get caught up in the drugs and waste their lives.
Now that is funny. Like my african employees used to say to me when I spent a couple years in Togo: that is "true speaking!"
LOL. Points on that one. post of the week!
I am beyond speculating at this point with QASP. The nonsense on the QASP board makes it almost impossible to separate fact from informed speculation from deliberate deception. Making my head hurt and requiring extra manhattans in the evenings.
My 48 hour cooling off period will expire today. Leaning towards selling off most at a loss, keeping some on speculation and playing it as a trade by buying back in when it, unfortunately, inevitably goes lower. I hope to get a bit more information ref. possible PRs or verifiable something before I jump though and havent quite made up my mind.
