CEO Quote:update to all shareholders in the very near future.
I think it would be safe to assume that the next update won't be "bad" news if he has gone through the effort (as have other investors) of putting this rather nice website together. If I was thinking about "riding the Friday Wave" yesterday afternoon, I certainly am not now after seeing this. I'll hold tight as the chances of that press release being very good for the shareprice feel very good at the moment.
IMO.
A good website without BS or fluff. I like it. I feel good about it. Jeff is obviously doing what he needs to do to give us all the highest possible chances of success, and for that, I am grateful.
"We are looking forward to a very thorough update to all shareholders in the very near future."
I like the above line as well.
I will if you will.
Increase the effort people...the push down isn't working.
Has anybody checked to see if Jeff has a valid drivers lisence? I feel like this would be a real clincher...
Seriously...you wouldn't be buying at 18 unless you thought we were near some sort of bottom, which means filling at 0.002 will still get you some money. Plus, you'd actually be helping for a change instead of just squashing support. You'd practically be a good guy for a few minutes... !!
You don't spend money on capital projects unless you foresee a good future. You also don't spend money on capital unless you have REAL money to spend (i.e. not taking out loans). Of course there is not a single thing in writing suggesting that Apex and Quasar ever had, or will ever have anything to do with each other (though speculation leads you quickly to this conclusion), but it is interesting nonetheless. This waiting game is going to kill me.
Interesting. It was supposedly retracted by QASP due to some questionable filing procedures. Does anybody have more info on this?
Don't they need to officially file the 2nd quarter financials before the 3rd quarter financials? I thought Quasar retracted the last filing...??
So you're stuck until the end of the week with whatever you buy at here...brave.
No T+3 for you?? Trading on margins?
WTF.
The anger this stock has the ability to bring up inside me is disturbing...
None. Never fully sold, but now I wish I did.
I e-mailed mike, and wordlogic responded (strange!) saying that mike was busy working on company matters and couldn't be bothered. Yet another thing that makes me suspicious of what is really going on here. They won't let the man speak for himself...really?
http://quasarinternationalholdingsinc.com/
We now have a "coming soon" message instead of a domain error. I have to agree...they wouldn't release a new website unless there was something useful to put on it.
Here's hoping.
I was just asking for clarification of a statement. It is arguably more rediculas to make baseless statements written with an aire of fact than it is to question those very statements. Lets get real here.
I'm just asking why you said what you said. Obviously you don't have an answer or a justification other than pump, so we'll leave it at that.
We don't own that technology...Mineseeker does. What does Quasar own that keeps Mineseeker at the table? And don't say "cash" because there are lots of individual investors in the world who have $10M to buy into a supposed gigantic money maker if they see oppertunity....
How about a serious answer for a serious question. I heard once that we supposedly owned some software that allowed the data from the mineseeker system to be more easily transferred to the ground, but have since ruled that out. You wouldn't have suggested we had something they wanted if you didn't know something...
What technology do we own that they have a use for?
Is this from today, or old news? First time I've seen it....and not in any way surprised. The PR today basically screamed that they are having to defend their intellectual property....this costs serious money to do, and isn't usually successful.
IMO.
Ha. If I had a nickle for every time....
A truly legit CEO wouldn't communicate with any CEO's EVER! I have personal e-mails from him where he states that he doesn't want to share information via e-mail. He did say it was due to the amount of time necessary to do this, but it isn't any more time than talking on the phone, which he offered to do. I asked just a couple short and simple questions and got no answers. Combine that with reviews of their patents by an outside firm, the fact that their tech is a decade old and has never been scooped up, and the fact that we're trading in pinks, and I smell a big fat rat. Once again however, I smelled it a bit too late. Lost money again. I'm out, and this is my last post. I don't make a habbit of posting in forums I don't own stock with, so this is it. Best of luck and hope you don't all end up holding a nice big bag of poo.
What in heavens name do you think is going to drive this up so fast? Nothing is going on here this morning that wasn't going on yesterday, or the day before that. So somebody bought $5k worth of sub penny stock....who cares? Shouldn't you be selling about now?
Anybody who isn't willing to state their case in an e-mail where the words are written in stone isn't worth my time. Talk is cheap. He told me twice that he woudln't relay information via e-mail.
...and that interest most likely led to the discovery that others can possibly provide the same function through manipulation of the intellectual property. 8-10 years is a long time to expect that nobody else in the entire world will come up with ideas which are both similar, and perhaps better. Computing 8 years ago compared to today is lightyears apart...to expect that they were nearly a decade ahead of their time in every aspect of their product is unrealistic and foolhardy.
This is what I'm referring to...
Frank Evanshen, CEO of WordLogic Corporation (OTCBB:WLGC), a predictive technology software company that markets patented search technology, reports that the firm now has "commissioned an independent patent review as part of our patent infringement strategy, which will make it more likely for potential prospects and others to license Wordlogic's products and patents."
Something is making them think it isn't likely that their current situation allows them to be marketable to those who might want to lisence this technology. I think it might be because they are trying to peddle 10+ year old technology (patents from '99 and '00) when clearly either the market has moved on, or somebody in those 10 years figured out how to replicate their technology within the bounds of intellectual property rights law. Patents mean nothing unless you have a huge legal team, and even then, they are very easy to circumvent if you're in any way clever.
I think I'm done in the markets for awhile. I've lost enough to make me quite sick to my stomach, and this one isn't looking like the saviour I once thought it to be.
Good luck folks.
I dunno about that. You don't review your patent unless you think there is a problem with infringement. If they were to enter into a lawsuit, the shareholders would be paying the bill if they lose. Could be a long drawn out process. The PR today makes me incredably nervous.
Yeah...buying that at the end of the day yesterday or this morning would be a gigantic mistake. Never buy into a mysterious run. I love the part where the company PR'd today that they have no idea why the price ran up....always good for helping to hold lofty SP.
Hopefully all those who made money yesterday will take their profits and dump it back here.
What does this stock do if we learn that somebody has stolen the technology?
Why does this all feel like deja vous? "The Real Deal Takes Time"? Really? You do realize that this stock already piqued over $4.00 once in its life....it had its chance. I'll bet I could find the words "this is no ordinary pink sheet stock" in every single pink sheet chat room on this site...
Fail to learn from the past and you will undoubtedly repeat it.
I'd encourage everybody to check out RXPC...the other company that Jeff "helped out" awhile back. It is no longer traded and basically diluted itself into oblivion. I'm still watching this, if only because it is similar to a bad car accident on the side of the road you can't take your eyes off. QASP took most of my money, and for that I am spiteful.
Umm....it ate more of my money.
Your e-mails will do nothing. The appropriate complaint department is undoubtedly at the SEC, but they don't care about this market or the dubious activity herein. Nothing but thieves down here...this is why planning to make millions in "the one" is a good way to lose all of your money. Take the profits when you can, and call it a day. This is no different than a slot machine at your local casino.
Nope...it doesn't. Just trying to recover my gross losses and then I'm on my way. This is gambling....no better than Vegas.
There is nothing any of us will ever do about naked short trading...best to understand this and plan accordingly than to think this practice will ever change.
Nope. Been burned enough down here. Just trying to recover some lost funds, and then I'm out. Anybody who has "faith" in this market hasn't been around it very long. I challenge to look at ANY historical "huge gains" in the pinksheets market and not find that those huge gains completely tank soon after they are realized. All those paid promotion "5000%!!!!!" stock picks always end up where they started. This one will be no different. Its already done it once...it will do it again.
IMO.
This is a penny stock and I'm skeptical till the very end. Your useless pumping and "only buy at the bid" PM's is getting mighty old. Even if this thing does shoot up, it will just as quickly tank right back down. I am so fed up with people saying "but this one is different". Yeah..they have great technology. Yeah, they're surrounding themselves with interesting people. But they are still doing paid promotions, not answering serious questions via e-mail where their words can be used as future evidence if need be, and frankly, in this day in age, just a little tweak to their technology and BOOM...they own nothing and somebody walks off with the loot. I really wish I didn't see that goodbyegoogle link...continued paid promotions are raise every red flag in the book. You don't see legitimate stocks doing this...only ones destined to come crashing back down. Anybody not selling on the pops is nieve and will soon become poorer than when they started.
IMO.
WLGC cannot afford to fail, too many reputations are at stake....IMO
Does anybody else find it strange that the company refuses to answer questions over e-mail? I like e-mail because it provides a level of "evidence trail" while voice conversations just disappear into the myrth.
