why are you getting so excited. One post is enough.
I have a solution for that problem --> buy at ask...there are the shares.
Did the market close early today or do we just have no volume whatsoever anymore?
You just have to be patient. Soon enough you will feel much better. I can understand your frustration though.
They're on a roll today...
Sound familiar?
WTF was that today?
Not just the board...
It was nice while it lasted. Perhaps some other day...
Especially in the pinks and OTC, there can be vast price fluctuations that easily take out your stops and your shares. I am 98.5% sure that some of the fluctuations are just for that purpose. In my opinion, if you want to keep your shares, don't use stop loss orders. If you want to be safe when trading pinks, perhaps you shouldn't even be trading pinks.
I still don't understand why people even use stop losses...
Well, what goes down must come up...or so.
Amen!
Hey richg, I actually was just kidding. I already have my live savings in this stock @ 0.08. But thanks for the info.
I was wondering that too. Is this a good time to get in on this one?
I just wish they would have bought more than just 23,168 shares...
We need to close green, otherwise this volume will make the chart look bad.
Now, how did you do that?
I had actually expected that gain for today, but it doesn't seem to be happening. The day is not over yet...
Is it over now? That 500k sell translates to lost profits of $165k compared to a gentle exit at $1.10. Oh well, somebody is going to take that margin...
It is. This is what I mean by everyone speaking the same language. Oh well, I guess I'll just be a good citizen and do my DD and leave out my personal info when I post. No games, no false statements, just plain old facts. Shall everyone be happy.
In thinking about my earlier idea, I would have to agree with you. However, the MM can only see your cards (i.e. order) if you actually show him your cards (i.e. place your order). On this board however you could tell the MM what your order could be. You just put on your poker face and place your real order when the time is right. Here comes the problem. This game only works if everyone on this board speaks the same language, which of course is not possible. Therefore we'd loose the game and it would blow up into our faces. Oh well, it would just be too nice to show the MM's the "finger of love" (this is what I call it...)
You are probably right, we'd loose that game. I was really just a thought I had.
The picture is the harbor of Kos town on the Greek island of Kos. There are some beautiful places on the coast line around San Francisco, but none of them tops the Greek Islands...IMO
I just had an interesting thought. If it is true that MM's, institutions, hedge funds, etc., lurking around on this board to find out about our positions, trading strategies, and targets, then would we be able to turn this into our advantage? Could we feed them with information that might benefit us? They would think they outsmart us, but in reality are playing into our pockets?
Just a thought...
Okay, I'll give it a try as well.
First of all, whatever positive equity is present in a company belongs to the current shareholders. That's why the line item on the balance sheet is called "Shareholder's Equity". In a situation where the equity is negative, the equity belongs to the company's creditors since the equity really is a liability. Shareholders are the entities that currently own shares, regardless of when they were bought and at which price. As for what the real value of that equity is, this is the amount a complete liquidation of the company under regular market conditions would result in. This number will always be a "best estimate", as the true value could only be known if the company was actually liquidated.
Now, the share price on the other hand does not just reflect the shareholders equity. It also reflects expectations in the company's future, such as discounted future profits, dividends, developments, growth potential, you name it. If it was only the book value, no one company would trade above their book value, as this just wouldn't make any financial sense.
I hope I could at least get close to what you wanted to hear.
Well said. Thank you MC, thank you!!! Hopefully, the posters on this board will listen to you more than they do to me, as I've tried to say similar things in the past.
I am looking forward to a cleaner, stronger, and more focused board.
So, what are your predictions for EOD Monday? I say $1.19.
Another fact that leads me to believe that the PPS will recover on Monday is what happened to DNDN. The day after the share price dropped by about 50% it recovered and closed even higher than the day prior to the dump. The same might just happen here.
I agree. I watched the whole meltdown on level 2 and during the last couple of minutes the bid started chasing the price again. If those 2 minutes are any indication for Monday's action, then the price should come back up.
You didn't even know that, eh?
And that was how long ago? I bet more than 20 minutes...
Sklauble, may I ask how many shares you own?
Seriously, please spare us from having to listen to your whining over missed opportunities. Either you sell, or you don't; and believe me, we don't really want to know any of this.
The same goes for all the other "out-of-the-blue" posters bragging about their profits just made by selling at 1.07, we don't want to hear from you either. We simply don't care. All we care about is CEMJQ, the company, new developments, insights, and the reservations for the party in Cabo.
So, if what you have to say does not fit in one of these categories, then stick it...
I agree, it will bounce hard on Monday. You could see it in the last few seconds. The bid couldn't go up fast enough...
That trend seems to be ending this second...
Remember, we normally have the "PQH" or "power quarter hour"...so not quite yet.
I found this regarding the capital gains tax:

The timing of the expected recovery should work in Chemtura's favor. They will emerge from BK right into a growing market. This should also have a positive impact on lending opportunities.
I'm telling you, that $12 pps is "just around the corner"...
Very likely...
I was just kidding. I am really waiting for $12 and I have until May 2010 before I even can sell. Not worried here...we'll get there.
When will we finally reach $10...?
