edit: but this accidental trade on gbp/usd is killing me

This week has been pretty good. but tonight is very slow.. Can't really call it.. I scalped the 1min this morning before work

I am actually playing the 5 min chart and just being patient.. with the euro/usd I haven't had no more then a 7 pip whipsaw from my entry which is fine with me... There are moving pretty slow but making the pips

Man it hurt me when i saw the spread.. That's what caught my attention.. What did you do exit immediately?

very nice.. The best thing about your demo you have 400k to play with and if the trade goes against you then you have a nice cushion... I need to test this strategy in a demo environment!

From my trading I have found that between 530 and 8 it is best to stay out of the market. However when the asian markets open some good money can be made. I have done all my. Live trading around this time and it has been profitable.

I noticed since both of these go against the dollar that they seem to move very closely in the same direction at the same time...


I think you can make money in forex at all time you just need to know what pair your trading, and your take profit and stop loss levels.(mind you I aim for no more then 10 pips a trade)

And about oanda taking the opposite side of the trade I read that on there site..


Now I've only been trading live for about 2 weeks but ivve had 3 trades that went past my take profit(didn't trigger) and then fell back down.. but I was patient and about 15 mins or so I was out at my take profit..

I bet if I called and asked what happened they would say low liquidity..

Obviouslly I trust them with my large 1 million dollar deposit haha.. but I'm just tryin to learn bout all the goods and bads

That 75 was last week haha sorry about that one.. but your right all our loses are our fault..

However I do believe that brokers do some form of stop hunting to what extreme I can't say because I don't work for a broker. But from my reading oanda takes the opposite side of all our trades so they only win when we lose and visa versa.. so there has to be some technique they use to keep there profit margin up. Is it stop hunting? Some will say yes some will say no. But I know for a fact they do what they must to maximze there profits.. ill never try to guess how or what they use to do that!

Haha ill pass on that one.. ill rather lose it in forex at least I know I lost cuz I f&*^%ed up and not because someone scammed me or convinced me this penny was going no where but up!!

I think 95% of broker complaints are from the people that lose and don't know how to make money in the market.. again this is just my opinion!
