The news is there's no news.
In Va. We fared OK. Lights flickered a bit and a small leak
in garage roof but VERY lucky. GLTA
Wook! How'd you fair with the storm? Right overtop of you.
You guys need to lighten up a little bit. My wife's best friend just got diagnosed with uterine cancer. Step away from this board and breathe a bit. There's life out there....
NO PRE-MARKET!!!! WE ARE DOOOOOOOMED!!!!! Too much caffeine...
Whatever....we are going nowhere...VERY frustrating!
Just sent that.
Another lung cancer drug bites the dust.

Everyone leave the board for a day and recharge. PPHM is going nowhere. GLTA
Premarket under a buck. Hmmm, good news?
But they had just gotten the 15, did they even use it? Whatever, it's not a rosy picture for PPHM.
It really wasn't a $16 million hit, was it? The loan was 15 and it really wasn't used, so we're only out whatever interest. Isn't that a bit misleading? At least they mentio "the third party" error as being "third party". GLTA...
Our insurance...Thanks TerryGD.

Ummm...from our 10K.
We rely on third parties to conduct our clinical trials and many of our preclinical studies. If those parties do not successfully carry out their contractual duties or meet expected deadlines, our drug candidates may not advance in a timely manner or at all.

In the course of our discovery, preclinical testing and clinical trials, we rely on third parties, including universities, investigators and clinical research organizations, to perform critical services for us. For example, we rely on third parties to conduct our clinical trials and many of our preclinical studies. Clinical research organizations and investigators are responsible for many aspects of the trials, including finding and enrolling patients for testing and administering the trials. Although we rely on these third parties to conduct our clinical trials, we are responsible for ensuring that each of our clinical trials is conducted in accordance with its investigational plan and protocol. Moreover, the FDA and foreign regulatory authorities require us to comply with regulations and standards, commonly referred to as good clinical practices, or GCPs, for conducting, monitoring, recording and reporting the results of clinical trials to ensure that the data and results are scientifically credible and accurate and that the trial subjects are adequately informed of the potential risks of participating in clinical trials. Our reliance on third parties does not relieve us of these responsibilities and requirements.] These third parties may not be available when we need them or, if they are available, may not comply with all regulatory and contractual requirements or may not otherwise perform their services in a timely or acceptable manner, and we may need to enter into new arrangements with alternative third parties and our clinical trials may be extended, delayed or terminated. These independent third parties may also have relationships with other commercial entities, some of which may compete with us. In addition, if such third parties fail to perform their obligations in compliance with our clinical trial protocols, our clinical trials may not meet regulatory requirements or may need to be repeated. As a result of our dependence on third parties, we may face delays or failures outside of our direct control. These risks also apply to the development activities of our collaborators, and we do not control our collaborators’ research and development, clinical trials or regulatory activities. We do not expect any drugs resulting from our collaborators’ research and development efforts to be commercially available for many years, if ever.

My guess, no. Only if they were a Roche or J&J or a large company. We carry little weight. IMHO
What news are you talking about? IMHO, I think we are damaged goods, no matter how good Bavi is. OY
I see 4970 but who's counting? Yeah baby! We're flying! Oops, sorry caffeine.
Any trades yet?
Well, best of luck...we all need it.
Not a bad idea, FTM. Cheers! We should all consider that. At least an hour or so....
No worries. We're all day to day anyway....
NOW, my head hurts! What the...
Yes, it'a early but given all that's happened, it's right on as to where we are headed. How does PPHM come back from this???? Seriously???? A double gut punch.
Now at $1.17 pre-market. Fu........................US better win the Ryder Cup or it will be nasty at my house!
I hear ya geo, I hear ya....
Good questions...wish we knew. As far as the media, of which I have been one. True media...CNN,FOX,ABC,CBS,NBC...won't report on anything like that. Why? It's not to market and even though it effects the livesof the trial patients, it doesn't effect the general public like say, the Tylenol scare or something. And I'm just thinking like they would. Now, do you consider the Street.coms or AFs of the world to be "the media", don't know. YES, they should report the full story. Maybe because it happened to us it's a HUGE deal but to "the media" it's not a huge deal. Now, that I owuld like to discuss...not enough space here for that.
I was on Yahoo for long time...rarely post, if ever. Much more noise there but you have to be able to filter that noise to people who you respect. I usually only look at certain people's posts here because I know they are reliable or insightful but I don't want to disallow anyone from be able to post. I hope no one really makes their decisions based on what someone they don't really know has to say about the stock. Maybe, some of us just need to step away from the board more often and the "noise" won't be so loud. TerryGD is one of the most knowledgeable and insightful posters I've read but he was driven away from here for whatever reason and I think that's wrong. GLTA
Excellent post!!!
Private board? Oh come on. So dissenting opinions are bad? This is America last time I checked. I have good and bad opinions about PPHM but I wouldn't want to exclude anyone elses. So, a private board where everyone sits around and holds hands and says nothing but good things about PPHM. Sounds like a bunch of fun! I don't agree with everyone here on some things but they never get put on ignore or filtered. We NEED discussion and opposing ideas!!! done
Dude, that's just wrong!
Hooray! An article that mentions PPHM's drop...caused by the third party error. No one mentions that. That's very important to clarify in any article about Monday's decline!! http://wallstcheatsheet.com/stocks/healthcare-business-update-peregrine-rebounds-merck-settles-old-lawsuit.html/?ref=YF
Are you insinuating they MANIPULATED the stock???? Shame...shame...
Makes no sense....
That's the baffling part. Wall street doesn't quite know what to make of the news. If it was really bad, we'd be about 30 cents. Just plain odd. I'll keep the tin foil off today.
Where have you seen it before? Give me some other stocks this has happened to. please!
1.30 pre-market...so far.
It is VERY odd, strange, fishy, crappy...
