There was an ETA for XXIS to start trading, but that time has come and gone. Not good.
That's a great idea, unfortunately you have to have money to buy back shares :)
Here is my summary of the new AlgoServer offering. In the world of day trading, order execution is king. Basically, all analysis is worthless if you can't get the price you want when you put in your orders. In day trading your, usually looking for many trades of small profit and so then slipage (the difference between order price and actual filled price) is the kryptonite in any good strategy. I found this out the hard way with Tradestation. The backtesting looked great, but in the real world the strategy sucked.
Ok, back to the point. My feeling is SpooztoolV2 won't produce good results for the everyman running it on their own workstation at home or on the road because latency times and other factors of the Internet will cause lot's of slipage (this is day trading use I am talking about). I believe the AlgoServer is an attempt to take your strategies and run them on the broker's server and their exchange connection, which should be much better than anything you can get out of your house. Basically, AlgoServer, although a supplement and not necessarily required, will become essential - this is if you ultimately want to make money and not lose your @ss.
Does this makes sense or am I just high???
Gmenfan, next shareholder meeting should be in the May time frame. That is when it occurred last year.
You know what bugs me is that no one is using the forum to talk about Spoozchartz. So either the thing works perfectly with no questions asked or no one is downloading it. You make the call.
You know what sound is created when the air gets let out of a stock?????
SPOOOOOOOZZZZZZZZZZZZZ !!!!!!!
Did anyone that signed up for this get an email yet?????
"Subscriptions to SpoozToolz Version 2.0 will be available soon for trading futures, options, derivatives and FOREX. To receive email notification of when SpoozToolz is ready for download, send your email address to Notify_Me@spooz.com. Note: Your email address will not be shared or sold."
Your attitude reminds me of a bit from George Carlin about drivers.
He said anyone driver faster than you is an idiot and anyone driving slower than you is a moron.
Very funny.
Interesting thing is that the whole idea of Spooz with it's "disruptive technology" and the use of Fractalz is that it gets away from traditional technical analysis, which isn't really worth a diddle (these are Paul's words). So that fact that you see a "W" in Spooz is rather meaningless. If you disagree with this then you think Paul if full of sh@t. If you think Paul is full of sh@t, then you have to question why you are invested here.
If you are implying that maybe they were trading and stopped because they were moving... he didn't provide that kind of detail. The question is are you currently trading and the answer was no. IMHO, there has been no trade activity of any significance so far. Let's hope that changes soon.
BTW, (Gbathat won't read this because he has his head stuck in the sand), but I emailed Errol and XXIS is NOT currently trading. Some times it just sucks being right.
Actually, if you follow the history, back in the expected Jun-2007 release Spooz tool was supposed to be out and Spooz chart was an add on to follow a few month later. Now things have flipped and Spoozchartz is out first and we are still awaiting Spooz tool. So I would say that Rich is more right than wrong in saying things have not gone as originally expected.
Let's face it people, having Spoozchartz out is nice because it's finally something, but the holy grail all along has been SpoozTool. Right?
Hey Gbathat, BTW, don't shoot the messenger. XXIS is not trading because if they were they would update their web site with the track record like they said they would.
Trust me, I want them to trade and be successful, but obviously again things are not working to plan. The question is... How far off plan are they???
Also, SPZI needs to update their webpage to remove the link to 141futures.com. It is now a dead link.
Your right, I don't know 100% their not trading, but I would say it's a pretty good assumption that there not.
1. If they were trading and trading successfully, I don't know why they wouldn't release this info.
2. It now seems they still don't have a permanent home.
3. Their website hasn't changed since it's inception.
Good enough for you????
I have to say, I am a little worried about XXIS. They were supposed to be trading by now and the last post I read said that they were no longer going to be co-located at the CME. They touted this as a big plus being that close to the exchange. How much does that change things???? I mean, you have a claimed success trading ratio north of 90%, yet the thing sits on a self. This doesn't seem right.
No reply Imperial, I posted on Spooz forum just to give them a head's up. We want the process to be as smooth as possible.
Hey Imperial, I know you want to keep your review of SpoozChartz a closely guarded secret, but you could have at least told me that the web page has the Product ID incorrect. They post ACPI, but that doesn't work. You have to enter ACP1 (a one, not an "I").
This caused a little bit of frustration.
No volume today???? Is trading halted or something?
No problem Imperial, I plan to download it myself, I just didn't get to it this weekend. I thought a sneak peek preview wouldn't hurt though:)
So, Imperial how is it working? Is it worth $79.00 a month?
I would guess the date for the retail launch in April is about as accurate as predicting the weather on that same day. Let's face it folks, Spooz's time line hasn't had the best track record. You gotta figure that this selected launch is going to give them a lot of feedback and probably also find a lot of problems. I would bet that retail launch doesn't happen until 2nd half of year at best. Who else thinks I am right on this?
Hey buck, I must have missed this news. So SPZI increased shares to pay salaries? How did they do this, was it by 504s again?
Guys, I am surprised there is not more talk on this. Wednesday was monumental. Spooz finally sells something! There is actually a chance at some revenue this quarter. After years of waiting for this I would think that much celebration is in order!!!!!
On a positive note the following feature listed below is not possible in TradeStation. Ticks charts is something that many people have been asking for.
One of the advanced features of SpoozChartz is its ability to plot multiple data series of different timeframes and symbols from multiple data feeds in the same chart window. SpoozChartz enables traders to mix time-based and count-based charts or insert bids, offers and last trades on the same chart. This is invaluable for multiple timeframe, correlation, and inter-market analysis enabling traders to calculate custom studies based on the several different data series at once.
Hey, which one of these guys was fedunz ( or whatever his name was)
John Unwin, Chief Technology Officer
Tom Opper, Chief Sales Officer
Doug Foster, Senior Product Manager
Craig Browder, Senior Software Engineer
Jim Hensel, Business Development Manager
Michael Martin, Technical Support Engineer
Justin Braun, Technical Support Engineer
Rebekah Heiner, Senior Administrative Assistant
Ironic... It looks like XXIS is headed down to match the share price of SPZI. *Sigh*
Please don't tell me this product is not late. Trust me, I have been keeping up with company. I sat at the shareholder meeting when Paul told me they were ready to release in June/July. Did you got to the meeting?
Technically, the product is almost 2 years late if you figure they tried and failed to release this product April 2006.
So don't tell me the plan is right on schedule and they knew all along that it would be Jan-08 before ANYONE actually got to use the product.
Well thanks for the update Imperial, it always helps to have feedback. The staged release is no surprise because they talked about it back at the shareholder meeting, but I will say their plan was not to release in Jan-2008. That is just bullSh@t. The release is late, why don't they just freaking admit it. Trying to pawn it off like delay was part of the grand scheme is just wrong.
Hey Critter, may I ask if you had any success using Fractalz? I also downloaded the tool and tried it out for 2 weeks. I had mixed emotions on it.
Not good that http://141capital.com/home hasn't updated the web site yet. An indicator that things are moving slooooowly.
Actually, ChangeDirector, it has been almost 2 years if you count the failed 1.0 release.
I don't know if it is wise to start another round of WAGes. The last time you all did that, we got delayed another... well actually, we are still delayed.
So it looks like the XXIS news is a dividend for the insiders. I don't believe this stock was trading to the public on DEC 4th. Am I wrong? Does anyone on this board own XXIS prior to Dec 4th???
I don't see how this news helps the average shareholder.
ThSeeker, in all due respect, how do you know that this ISN'T the big news. Do you know already what is going to be released?
I hope this isn't everything, because all this said was that they are still not ready to trade yet. Previous news was that they should have already started, so this was a keep waiting message.
Hey, I don't remember a lot of Fedfunz posts. Can anyone point to some old ones so I can take a look?

Wow, Spooz is hiring. I guess that is good news!
Hey, anyone recall how long the "Employment" link has been on the main web site. Is Spooz really hiring right now?
Very true about the missed released date. If you want a history lesson, this tool was really supposed to be released April '06, so we are going on 2 years of delays. Not very impressive. I hope '08 is it.
"I agree 2008 should be a good year for all spoozers". Look at it this way... It can't be much worse!
