Training the future enemy, great.
Well, it's either that, or Etrade does this on its own. Wouldn't be surprised, given how liberal they feel about using our shares for shorting :)
It's .07x.09
WHy is everybody looking at me? I didn't do it, I jumped INIX back when it was .09-.10, and haven't re-entered yet :)
Sold about 2/5 of my FRGY at .065 last week, as well, bought it back in the .05's.
Nope, we only don't appreciate SOME literature :)
Markets being up is still pretty bad for my pinkies' portfolio. Looks like people turn to pinkies when markets are down, and jump back into the markets (hence selling the pinkies) when the markets are up.
Good morning and Happy Easter, people!
Them new-fangled things... Nothing like the good 'ole tub.
That's why you don't put 'em rifles in the washer, duh. You use a tub.
I offered :)
And on the subject of Macs and Marines...
When my girlfriend and I were looking for a gun for her, we just went to the shooting range and had her go through the basic course, and then try a few (well, over 20) different handguns. Took a few weeks, as she had to learn how to use it first, and then figure out which one she was comfortable with, but it seems to've worked out well for her.
You're welcome :)
Now that's what I like to hear, soldier! :)
Wanna go over this?
Be careful what you wish for :)
Yeah, Vista has quite a few issues. Quite fixable though, but to mess up one's network connection one has to install a lot of poorly written applications that mess with it, such as the software broadband providers give you. That's one thing one should never install if he can help it. Luckily, it's also quite simple to reset your network connection. On the flip side, the broadband providers' support is usually either in India, or is staffed by the people who wouldn't get an IT-related job elsewhere (it's a starting job for quite a few people entering IT, entering being the key word), so it's often easier and cheaper to get support elsewhere (not offering my services, I'm in network architecture and security :)).
I have Vista on one of my computers at home, and a few clients of mine use it. Haven't had many networking issues there.
Those vary from church to church, from cult to cult, from religion to religion, and so on. There're just way too many of them out there to even try to establish any sort of rules.
If one has a hardware firewal/router (as one should, anyway), all one needs is a regular network connection to the router. No cable software, no special kind of connection, just a LAN connection.
Depends on the parents, and the country. IN the US, for example, various governments interfere with how you bring up your kids a lot, and quite a few parents don't bother to do more than about 10% of that influence, surrendering the rest to those very governments, schools, etc. Kinda smart, surrendering your kids to obviously failing institutions.
The only actual rule (not the "I wish there was a rule and I feel there should be one, so maybe there is on... Yes, there is a rule against that!") comes from the IRS. Due to the separation of Church and State, one isn't supposed to interfere in the affairs of the other. Hence if a church starts being active in politics, it loses its tax exemption status and has to start paying taxes. Of course, this rule is only enforced selectively, so that it doesn't offend all the groups which are easily offended, hence it's not enforced that much in black churches (black ministers being probably the most politically vocal ministers out there) or in mosques.
Ah, I saw that one. It's pretty much the same as SharpReader, just created by a different crowd.
For Ihub (and I don't just use them for iHub), when I'm considering or am in the stock, I combine the feeds from several boards I'm watching in a folder, filter out the people I've determined to be, well, useless, and thus have the posts about a stock from multiple boards all in one place. Saves quite some time.
Also, this way I watch what the people I find interesting post without having to go to each person's profile. If I have the time, I check out the stocks they're interested in, and try to evaluate those myself. If I like them, I start watching those stocks.
I read some of those posts offline on my PDA, thus finding more time for it.
So you do have the router/firewall then? WHy do you need any software on your computer then?
Basically, the way it ought to work is, your router.firewall/WiFI access point gets connected to the cable network (most likely getting an IP from their DHCP server, cable companies normally use that), and no software is required on your computer. For that matter, no cable company software should be installed on your computer in that case in the first place. If you want to, we can walk through your config in PMs and see where the issue might be, determining where such issues are is quite easy.
Can't find it, the only things I see with that name are server-side .NET and PHP modules.
Directly to the computer, without a hardware firewall in between?
YUp, it's quite useful. I use SharpReader, but there're tons of other free ones, and many modern email clients have RSS options (Outlook 2007, for example). Also, if you're using Vista, it has its own RSS reader, not a very good one though. I'm sure Mac has something like that as well.
Alright, in the spirit of today's politics, I retract my apology :)
On behalf of the resident gun nuts, we're sorry :)
I've seen several such systems. Generally, people develop them themselves (I have a couple of friends who did, and one of my former clients sells those, as well).
Generally, when you see MMs walking some stock back and forth catching the stops, what they're mostly trying to catch is such software (correct me if I'm wrong) :)
Some platforms were designed with people who'd want to customize those platforms this way in mind, like TradeStation. However, before you can customize it, you have to know what you're doing very well, test it (they allow you to paper-trade using that platform), etc. It takes years, from what I heard. The platforms someone has already customized like that are usually quite expensive, and you never know how good a job they did, they never guarantee anything, of course. That's the reason I didn't buy that software from my former client, as well. They didn't even have an internal statistics on how successful (or not) it was for different people they sold it to, and themselves they were constantly tweaking it (so they were basically spending as much time tweaking it as they'd be spending on the market daytrading).
So in my opinion, it's better to invest that time and money into learning how to trade well first, and then maybe consider the software (unless you're then ready to customize it yourself).
Nah, still trying to get my brain operational this morning. Have a nice day.
TN, hmm... something like 4 on Brady Campaign's Score Card, that'd explain it (compared to CA's score of 63). Oh, and a correspondingly low crime rate.
Speaking of which, I compared the Brady Campaign Scorecard to the violent crime rates (involving guns) as published by the FBI for 2006 (couldn't find 2007 FBI data). It's quite interesting how the two correspond. Normally, the higher the Brady's score, the higher the crime rate. California ranked at the top for both (score of 63 at Brady's, meaning the most restrictive gun ban (sorry, control) laws, and the highest crime rates involving guns).
As in "you're gonna get up and you're gonna like it, whether you like it or not"? :)
Very commendable, only 4 tries. You must've ranked high in the Corps :)
It'll be fun :)
Where do I sign up? Is ammo tax deductible when it's a part of the school supplies and business-related? Are there any seats available in that section?
Good night.
Or "the first shot is always to clear the barrel, you got that? Now, the enemy is in that direction, that's all you need to know. What? Food? The enemy has it" :)
Indoor shooting, sounds very Sherlock Holmes :)
Heh, indeed :)
