Pizza,
Just so you know, Bean is a shrewd trader. He was buying while Bashing....
I am a long, Bean in a trader. I do my thing- he does his.
I learned about Bean long ago.
Don't let him get to you. He can and is good at it!
RJ
Waitedg,
I do not have a problem with your posts, I like to see both sides of a deal. You are right about the risk. I guess because I have succeeded in uphill Battles and have talked with Brian and John that I feel a sense of their desire.
"Desire" is sometimes the thing that increases odds and gives that edge. I know its poor fundamentals, but investing in fundamentals would not have us investing in pennies.
I am not putting my entire Basket here, but I do hope they do well with or with out me. I will do more DD.
I will ask Brian how he plans to use Prince George in his Marketing plan. I also will ask him how he plans to survive long enough to implement his Marketing Plan. Brain assured me that they will be in Business in two years. I will ask him how he thinks he can make that happen.
Honest thoughts are always important, positive or negative.
Maybe FASC will have to partner with a larger concern?
RJ
Laker,
I agree, I pay a lot of Taxes. I need to open a SEP. My Brokerage account in seperate from my IRA's. My IRA's are in
Mutual Funds.
My Accountant and Banker both have told me the same as you have!
RJ
Waitedg,
I agree for the most part, how-ever if it is true that Prince George will bring other interest and there are increased sales, financing is not impossible. The first sale of a new System is always the toughest. When successful, then doors will usually open.
I do a lot of High School and University Work with Sports flooring. Upgrading with specialty flooring always takes having one succussful installation somewhere previously or a free-be trial installation. (I think FASC did this?)
Once FASC has a Municipal installation running, a happy and successful customer, new sales can be accomplished easier. Others can be brought to the facility as a marketing tool. Financing can be made with a Bank per individual projects. Banks will collect the recievables as a cash management account putting remaining cash above obligation "if any" into FASC's account.
As I have said, I am not highly educated I am a floor installer. But I have been through this a couple of times.
Financing is not a problem if .....
#1 Have a Proven Product and Track record (?)
#2 Successful Marketing Program (?)
#3 Company is living within its means. (?)
All business's are a gamble and challenge, picking the odds
for potential are the challenge?
These are my thoughts and opinions only.
As for PPS, If it falls below .14 I will probably buy a few more shares.
Thanks for your assessment, I do appreciate it.
RJ
Terry and Lakers,
I agree with both of you and appreciate your comments. I am mostly Blue Chip long (Mutual Funds). I have had less money in the pennies and still made more $ there.
I have sold just to miss out on huge runs. I do not see that here short term with FASC but its kind of a who knows long term.
Terry is right on with the Taxes, Last year I claimed 0 and still wrote a check to the Feds for more money than most people make in a year.
I will always lay floors that is what I do. Investing is a
continual learning experience and FASC is definitely a new
concept, at least to me.
Having fun learning and thanks,
RJ
Jag,
Shallow response revisited. Yes some business problems, but
they do have a product. Something to work with. If you are looking for perfection you better stay with Blue Chip where I keep my retirement funds. What is wrong with a little dreaming with a small part of a porfolio.
You do not have to respond. I understand people can be educated and still have "no" manners. I observed that at the
Raging Bull message board.
There is a fellow there that must have hated school so bad that he hung around afterwards for "hours" just making sure everybody knew how much.
RJ
If you are right, and PPs drops.. more shares for the $ for us longs.
If you are right and PPS sails upwards, shorts sell and PPS drops again. This will probably repeat and gradualy build new higher lows.
Just thinking to myself... I am long so watching all this taking place only only benefits me in picking up new shares on
the cheap and celebrating when PPS climbs.
The only negative on PPS climbing is I quit drinking years ago...so when celebrating I bring out the Tin Roof sundaes.
I am starting to gain a little weight! (OK - alot)
RJ
Charlie,
Quarterly report available as of 6AM this morning. It seems to me we have a good long. No major problems other that finance and slow growth. It seems if both may be corrected we will have ourselves a company.
I do not see FASC as a short term investment. Prince George if successful could raise the brows of other Municipalities.
Sorry if I spelled anything wrong, just a floor layer looking for a good long play. 2 year plus window.
RJ
Good Post
RJ
Waitdg,
I do not think they will fold without being forced to do so.
Management is to excited about what they are doing. I was told
that they will be in business in two years.
I think you are right that they do not want to deliver fluff news. It is my opinion they believe in what they have and want hard facts to deliver in PR so others will believe also.
I think they are working on the "Vehicle" to deliver the goods.
RJ
Thats Bean,
Don't lie to Bean, he will not let you hear the last of it!
Bean, thats a commitment..I will never lie to you. Lets go
fishing! My boat is waiting for me to take a day off!
Have a great week-end,
RJ
Agree,
Never saw a timely PR. First you see the PPS rise...then the PR. Of course people doing daily DD may not be as slow as me.
This stock will have its day!
I am in no hurry.
RJ
dioblo,
I just re-read it myself. I guess I was not as clear as I thought. "to the Whiners"
RJ
dioblo,
Re-read, it was not a dig at you.
RJ
Waitedg,
I called the Company and talked to the VP, (John F.) I told him I was a Stockholder and was curious to a two year time frame for the Company. He said that he could not tell me much
but that we would definitely be in business two years from now. Also that Positive things are happening and they will eventually be shared in a PR.
He could not share with me things that are not yet public knowledge, but he did talk to me about existing projects and that they are problem solving. It would make sense to me that
Technology in the field would need tweeking VS. Tech in the Shop.
New to this,
RJ
Bean,
You are a trader and I expect you to see things different
than I. The first stock I decided to trade in lieu of be a long... took off without me. (CPN) I hold only a few shares now.
I work to hard to watch the stocks that close. I am going back to buy and hold. I do enjoy checking in on "old" friends.
Take care,
RJ
It is hard for me to believe that this is the same group
that dialogued with Bean the other day and asked him to have
patience.
If you are really a long, buy the stock, put it to bed, check
on it occassionaly to see if it is still breathing.....
soon it will be all grown up!
If you are a trader disreguard the above.
PR's will com when there is something new to say. Never seen
a timely PR.
RJ
dioblo,
For the whiners....that claim they are long;
The game here is easy. Buy, tuck it away, check in occassionaly to see if its breathing.....and one day it will
be all grown up.
Give it a rest with the daily dribble. We are not kids here investing, maybe kids trading.
This is a long gamble or a trade. If you are long stop the crying. If you are trading....well I guess I don't know what to tell you. But don't pretend you are long and ask to be hand held by management that needs to spend their time doing their job. PR's will come when they have something new to say.
My Opinion 500K long,
RJ
Waitedg,
I appreciate your insight. I am hoping for a long play here.
I do not have the nimble fingers. But if I can unload part on news and rebuy after a drop that would make sense. I do not want to be out of the stock though, I think the Tech would answer a lot of problems that Municipalities have.
Thanks,
RJ
Hi Waitedg,
I am definitly not a long historically. I have lost 75%+ of my Value. I also do not have the historical insight that you have. How-ever I do see potential here if the Tech would catch on and the as the World gets Greener Politicaly speaking. The costs may not be as far out of reach as in the past.
I understand that they are now leaving the Testing phases and in the Marketing Phase of the Comnpany. I am hoping this makes a difference. Of course this is not happening over night.
Just a Floor Layer Thinking!
RJ
Hi GG,
Good to hear from you!
RJ
Pizza maker,
I own a pizza business that my family ran for quite a few years. I am personally in the commercial floor business.
If we put out coupons or a sale for pizza, subs or other we have immediate results. In the commercial floor business, we are at the tail end of the projects. I bid the floors, order the materials, set delivery dates, install the products and most of the time the projects are 6 mo. to 2 years before we even get to our part of the project for installation....so when do you think invoice time is?
I do not know what the progress rate is for the oil drilling business. I do know that immediate results from coupons is not applicable. Most new or start up business need time.
If you are a trader........if you are a buy and hold........
Fill in your self.
News is nice. How often should coincide with relevency not fluff. This is one of my smallest investments at 510K shares. I may trade with a few shares. Not taking the risk at getting caught out of the stock again as I have in the past!
Just an uneducated outlook.
I got caught mostly out of CPN before big run.(Trading) I made a measely $45K in lieu of $450K!
I can live with the education.
RJ
RO,
I am going to sell my INSM today. It will be at a loss, but
they claimed in their annual report it would be several years of losses yet.
Starting this time of the year, I will be busy with my floors
so I will only be around time to time. That is why ROSE looks good to me VS Calpine. I do not have to keep track. I am in several other $ 20.00 plus Stocks with growth. I do have a couple pennies. I am here only because the group is. I do think long there may be some coin. But trading spikes with a portion would be fun also. Trading got me caught out of Calpine on a couple of their runs. I planed on trading with half and holding half. The quick buck and get back in did not work!
The joke is on me.
RJ
510,000 RGNO shares just for fun!
Bean,
Just been real busy with my business. I am working on(putting a bid together)for two University floor projects, one may be over my head. But we can give it a try.
I am heading to Chicago Tomorrow for a couple days, probably will be around today but not again till Monday.
Is it not much nicer with everyone watching your back than the noise of the old days! Ha Ha! Whose style.
I hope I can break away for some fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My boat is still in the barn.
RJ
Bean...Bean...Bean,
I am teribly hurt. You forgot about your ole'fishing buddy.
ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am 260 long and 250 short....does that count!
Since we are on the subject, if you want news, be patient here and check out the news at NVMG Native American Energy.
Not making a recomendation, just a stock with a lot of Hype and news. Or you can be like me and (please do not tell the others on the CPN board...) buy ROSE!
RJ
